I love this gym, I love the staff and I love the manager Paul. This place is huge! Plenty of machines, plenty of free weight areas to workout. I like the track. The separate room where you can be a little louder and drop heavy loads of need be.

It's more than a gym too. They have a playroom for kids, they also have a couple rooms or spaces that if you just need to sit and work you can. It's like a community space. I love, love, love it!

Participated in the healthy kids event today in between soccer games. What a great event and idea. The organizers must have pulled out all the stops. Talking with the PD, FD and Wardens was great fun and watching the kids run around from booth to booth playing games and making friends was awesome. Thank you for hosting!

Let’s just be 100% honest here. The staff and stuff are cool. It’s the lack of maintained equipment. Everything looks old and decrepit the pulleys are falling apart. The weights look extremely dirty and used and some even look rusted. I can’t really justify paying 45 dollars a month if this gym refuses to maintain their equipment.

I don't use the YMCA for the gym because I can't afford it but they are kind enough to let multiple groups practice at their facility. It's always clean & the staff is super nice. Support this organization any way that you can!

Very nice people working there, there are plenty of Lights in the weight room,i wish we could get a lat pullover machine like Dorian yates used,i have to go to golds gym in bellevue to use theirs,and the lat pulldown cables are usually being used but i really like this place.

I have had an AMAZING experience at this gym. I was a little nervous to sign up for sessions with a trainer but it has been absolutely life changing. Arieann listened to all of my concerns and went above and beyond to meet my needs and come up with stretches and exercises that were effective. Not only did she introduce me to a lot of gym equipment that I was nervous to use, but she also showed me exercises I could do from home. I 100% recommended Arieann as a personal trainer. She’s the BEST!!

The staff are great ,but I've noticed when the homeless come in for showers some of the staff treat the homeless people like they aren't welcome ,and that's what makes the place not so great ,homeless are people too and some of them don't choose that way of life ,there's alot of people in Dickson that are one pay check away from being homeless them selfs ,

Nice and clean gym. All the equipment you’d want in a gym. Kept tidy and would recommend to others. Wish there was a sauna but that’s just a perk. I’m sure they could put one in with a little motivation. Overall very nice staff.

My wife and I go to the Y 6 days per week and we're in our 60s. There are young and old, men and women, children, and folks of all shapes, sizes and colors enjoying the Y every day. There are classes, equipment of any type imaginable, and plenty of room. We enjoy it all for a very reasonable price and the staff is friendly and competent. Come and get rid of your COVID blues with no masks, partitions, or tests;. Just like the old days!

The Dickson YMCA is my home away from home! I always feel comfortable there no matter what I go to do. Sometimes I run on one of their many treadmills and sometimes I take a class. Their instructors are knowledgeable and want you to have a great workout while at the same time maintaining proper form. I followed Claudia Phillips to this YMCA because she’s an amazing instructor and I stayed because everyone there is amazing too! And they are always improving and adding to the building and equipment. I’m so happy that I chose this gym!

I’ve enjoyed being a member of this Y for over 2 years. They have a lot to offer for parents and children. I highly recommend purchasing personal trainer sessions with Airean. She has helped me get back into using gym equipment to muscle tone. I had developed poor habits over the years, and she trained me in many different exercises that work many muscle groups and prevent injury. She is great for anyone to learn new ways to get fit. She has a holistic approach and can incorporate a diet and weight loss plan if you desire that.

My child went to the YMCA for the 7th grade initiative program and she fell and no one called to inform me. The young man over the group told my daughter he would throw her phone if she didn’t put it away in which she was using it to contact me since they didn’t. They knew she got hurt and did nothing. I do not recommend the YMCA. She is laying at home with a knee stabilizer and ice compress and not at school. Thanks to the negligence my daughter stayed there hurting. Now I see why there is liability papers involved.
