This review is for the ETC parents night out in Murfreesboro. I signed up my almost 6 year old for the 5:30pm-10pm option. I thought that, since this was at ETC, he would get to play on a lot of the ETC equipment like trampolines, climbing ropes, foam pits, etc. But when I brought him and checked him in, there were a bunch of classes still going on, so they had him go into a classroom with a bunch of other kids and do things at the table and on the floor. I decided to stay and observe and see if he would get to go on the floor to do the fun etc things. After talking to a few parents, many said that they would not go out on the floor until around 7:00 p.m. so I decided to leave and I returned around 8:00 p.m. when I got him to bring him home, he said that the only thing that he had gotten to do was the bounce house. So he never got to do the trampolines, foam pits, or climbing or balance beams. And a lot of that time he was in that room with a bunch of other kids. So we were pretty disappointed and clearly I did not have the correct expectations. So I wanted to make sure that other parents knew about this.

ETC is a large facility with lots of classes happening at the same time. The front office staff have always been kind and billing is straightforward. They don't pressure you to sign up and make it simple if you decide to drop. I feel the future of ETC will depend on the coaches. My daughter started in big dippers and had a great experience with Coach Deja and Coach Caleb. She moved up to rising stars and enjoyed having Coach Dean, but we had to change times. Her primary coach was good, but the secondary coach would be different each week. The last straw was watching the secondary coach roll her eyes at my daughter when she couldn't do a routine correctly. They've raised prices, but not the standards of the coaches. Coaches should instruct and encourage ALL the kids in the class. Unless you have right coach, your child will not get proper instruction if they need correction. The nice thing was watching the older girls in the class help my daughter. There are pros and cons to ETC. We're taking a break right now. If we end up rejoining in the future I'll have to find the right time, with the right coach for my daughter. I hope they can address some of these issues and continue to be successful.

The birthday party package here is amazing!! For setting up and booking to clean up. From arrival, We had multiple very active coaches and a dedicated attendant that took care of all of our needs. From helping set up to serving the children, keeping the party on time and on track. The favors and gift to the party kid were also sweet. So organized and honestly not too loud despite the running children!

I went to watch my grandchildren, but was so disappointed in the coaching I have witnessed. If a child is doing the task wrong I just feel as if they should coach them in how to do it correctly. I wish there was a way for me to add the photo of the coach spotting the vault. She was actually eating her yogurt instead of spotting. I would never recommend this gym.

We took the last 4 months off during the holidays, basketball and cold/flu season. I called to get my kids back into classes 10 days ago. Today was the day they were to start back. I arranged everything over the phone and nothing was mentioned about needing paperwork, forms, etc. I even confirmed I had a card in file for payment. My sister in law took my kids today while I was at parent teacher conferences, their names were on the rosters, but because I didn’t hVe updated paperwork, they wouldn’t let them participate. My 3 year sat and cried while watching his cousin in class and my 7 year old was pulled off the floor even though I was coming as soon as conferences were over. I am so disappointed in ETC. I’ve had a kid enrolled here in some fashion for roughly 10 years. The entire front office staff are new and it’s obvious. They are not friendly or courteous. If it weren’t for Coach Dean and a few other coaches, we would take our business elsewhere. In addition, they recently rescheduled birthday parties of 4 different kids that were booked for next month because of a scheduling error. Those parties are not cheap and planning is not easy. Overall very poor customer service lately. I hope something changes because it’s not what it used to be.

We love E.T.C Gymnastics because the entire staff tries to give their best. I have dealt with front desk and my crazy mother moments of questions about billing and scheduling and all. They are truly great. They helped me with my issues always giving me the best deal for my money. The coaches are awesome. They have great talented people teaching our little ones. They are very enthusiastic but also encourage my little one to do her best. It is a well balanced environment to train learn and play. My little one isn't the best, but they do give her the attention she needs.

When I was around 7-9 years old, I suffered seperation anxiety, but my parents gave me the confidence to go alone and this place has lots of girls, but ETC managed to make me comfortable with them and allowed me to feel alive and also made me feel confident even if I was a(n) outcast being like the 2nd boy in a group of like 10 girls. My daughter loves coming here for gymnastics. However, you would think with us being in a Pandemic they would take better care in making sure this is a clean environment. This is just a sample of how dirty the seats are in the gallery where parents have to sit. Some of these chairs look like they haven't been cleaned in years. The staff is great, but whoever manages this place could do a tad bit better in the department of cleanliness.

This place is a great gym and I would highly recommend it to anybody that wants to get their child in gymnastics or anything that they offer there. I do not recommend this place for a kids birthday party. We had my nieces birthday here last weekend and all the parents at the party was very upset with how it was. Once the kids jump in the bounce house and go to another activity they wanted to go back and jump in the bounce house but they were told NO that they are not going back in the bounce house because that activity is now over. They begged to jump in the bounce house and still was told NO!!! What kinda of birthday party host tells kids they can't jump again in a bounce house while out there. 2 kids cried over it. Parents were extremely upset. One parent had a kid with severe anxiety that wanted the parent to stand beside the bounce house while they jumped but was told NO that the parent is NOT ALLOWED out there. Said their insurance policy says they can't be out there. What's weird about that is all the kids had to sign a waiver to be out there. If that's the case then all they would need to do would be to have a parent sign a waiver to be out there as well. This place was horrible and all the parents agreed. The parents said they would never have a birthday party here and would tell everyone how bad it was.

We have had the pleasure of being part of the Murfreesboro ETC family for over 3 1/2 years now, and have been blessed with lifelong friends in addition to coaches who are like family to us. Do Not ever Plan a Birthday Party here. Kids appeared to be in a cardiac party not gymnastics. No one not even a parent could go on the floor to just take a picture of the group to have a memory . Terrible experience. They were also told when booking that their would be games that didn’t happen. Tullahoma beats this place all to pieces.

My daughter is a 9 yr old very shy girl. It takes her until April to open up to her teachers and other students at school. Every instructor at ETC has helped her come out of her shell in their own way. She is more confident than ever and continues to become more outgoing with each class. She is in the Tuesday tumbling and Thursday gymnastics class and has already learned many skills. If you are looking for a gymnastics, cheer, or ninja class give ETC a chance. They won't disappoint.

Just want to drop off your kids to burn off energy? Sure it's great. My son is in the ninja class. I see staff all around with shirts that say "teacher" and "coach." Yet no one actually offers any instruction.

If your kid isn't in one of the "real" gymnastics classes here, they won't get any attention.

My daughter has been at ETC for nearly 6 years. She has been in the rare position to be on BOTH the rec and JO Team side. In both cases, she has excelled thanks to the coaches pushing her to do what she is best at, gymnastics. On both sides, the coaches have the kids back and will advocate for what is best for the child, being a matter of the child needing to move to another level or a wonky call from a judge. No matter if the skill is a simple one or difficult, the coaches are there. When the children succeed at a skill, the coaches are excited as they are. Seeing a grown man jump around like a little kid when your daughter lands a routine that she has struggled with all year will bring tears to your eyes. The coaches love those kids, and it shows.
It's not just gymnastics either. They train the mind and soul. Bible study is part of their training, as well as mental game. One of the best aspects is the bell. When children accomplish a new skill, they ring one of two bells in the gym. When that bell rings the coach yells out the skill and the whole gym claps. Watching little and big faces lighting up at the cheers is always a treat. Gymnastics can be tough, so celebrating the little stuff builds confidence for the big stuff.

My daughter has been attending classes at the Murfreesboro location for over 6 years. Over those years she has moved up levels and has had various coaches while doing so, but she has loved all of them and is constantly learning new skills. We came into the gymnastics world a little later than a lot of kids, and after a few months of recreational classes, my daughter was asked to join the competitive team, after trying out on a whim. The coach who 'tested' her saw her ability and she has just completed her first year as a competitive gymnast . She has loved it every step of the way, and her coaches have been nothing but supportive and encouraging, and she has made some great friends and is building a skill set that she will use throughout her life...teamwork, discipline, not to mention the confidence she is building! My oldest daughter has been at ETC since she was 2 years old. She started in the toddler program and they quickly saw talent in her and moved her up. She is currently a Level 4 at 9 years old and my other daughter started at 3 and quickly exceled and is now a level 3 at age 6 on the USAG Competition team. From the first day we walked into the gym, we felt at home. The coaches have been nothing but encouraging to them and they have learned to be confident little girls. My youngest daughter fractured her wrist this season and the coaches called me numerous times to check on her, they prayed for her, sent her sweet messages and a cute little surprise, they encouraged her when she was down and worked extra to get her caught back up once she recovered. They truly care about their athletes and their well being. They are always willing to listen to a parent when we have a concern and they give the best advice they can to you. They know when to push the girls and when to hold back a little. The sport is toughest one out there and ETC has some of the best coaches around! They help little girls reach their dreams!

I brought my daughter in for a evaluation at 8 years old with no prior gymnastics coaching, . They immediately spotted her raw talent and put her on the training team! Within less than a year she was competing on a jr Olympic team! They gave her a shot and worked so hard with her, they took a chance on her and I’m forever grateful for that and she is as well! She just got state champion in bars for her age group out of 18 girls. I’d say this gym is phenomenal! The coaches are so dedicated and loving as well as all the staff! My daughter has been at this gym since we moved here in 2013. We have had nothing but a positive experience with ETC. She's been working with Coach Ken, Coach Tweety, and Coach Jenna the past 3 years with the competitive team. They have positively challenged and pushed her to grow in ways that she couldn't dream possible. They are about growing their gymnast in not only gymnastic ability, but also character. My daughter struggled with a specific skill this past year to the point of tears everytime we went to gym. I talked to Coach Ken and he was able to talk to my daughter putting her mind at ease. She can proudly say that she now has that skill and performs it during the meets. The coaches do devotionals with the girls, pray with them, and make long lasting relationships with their gymnasts. I love ETC and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great gym to call family and home.

My daughter has been at ETC since 2012, and I can't imagine being at another gym! We started with all six of our kids in rec classes, and she was quickly evaluated for their developmental program, and has progressed consistently since then - she just finished her Level 8 season placing 1st in her age division at state! We've loved her coaches (one of whom is also the gym owner), and it is obvious how much they care for our kids. They are compassionate, caring, tough when they need to be, quick to comfort or pray for/with our girls. The atmosphere is so positive, and I can't begin to put in to words how my daughter has grown and the life skills she's gained by participating in this sport with these role models. I would highly recommend this gym for toddlers on up!

The competition coaches are terrible with the kids. I have witnessed the owner of the gym standing over a gymnasts hitting at her more than once. He insults the kids to make them feel like they are worthless. He shames kids openly for the other kids to shame them too. He is not looking out for your child's best interest but rather his business. He purposefully holds kids back that could go on much further for the gym to win to make them look good. He will say they are too small to do bars. Hmm.. that's why the bars move and that's why you will only see this gym do this. They keep the same setting for all of the kids. There are plenty of itty bitties as lvl 8 and up and he won't even let them go to lvl 4. My child has been diagnosed with PTSD because of the coaches at this gym. She deals with severe anxiety, self doubt, lack of self worth, depression, suicidal thoughts, etc because of the lack of professionalism at this gym. They do the complete opposite of what gymnastics should have done mentally to my child Avoid this gym at all costs! If I could have given them a "0" then I would have! Oh! He has only got one single scholarship for a gymnasts. That should tell you something.

ETC is a great quality gymnastics training facility. They don't offer the full gymnastics track for boys like they used to...however they still have a boys program aimed to diversify the boy's range of athleticism. For girls they have a great hardcore gymnastics program.
