When purchased a membership with this gym we were told we could bring a plus one.

I came in and my friend had already scanned her card and I followed right after fixing my shoe. There was this man in the entranced that looked at me and watched me passed but stopped me and asked me to scan my card. I told him I came w her *poiting at my friend* he looked at her, got visibly upset and said " she needs to let us know BEFORE who she is inviting to come in" and stare at me as you would when you discipline a child- pr worse bc the way he got so upset. Could've been bc he felt embarrassed he had called me out for no reason & instead of apologizing he went on w "next time we need to know a head of time if shes bringing a plus one"
I got furious in that instant and also stared at him waiting for something else to come out of his mouth so I could decide weather to check him or wait it off. He didn't so I just asked his name, I believe he said Josh. About 5'5, with the top right or left arm tatted. I just kept staring at him until he broke eye contact grabbed some paperwork and left the desk area.
If we were to come after hours... WHO did she had to tell then? Its a 24/7 gym. HOW?? WHO?? If It was the case of letting the staff know before bringing someone in why is it NOT listed or specified? They also don't tell you that when you want to sign up w them.

BTW it wasn't my first time accompanying her but I had not seen anyone being stopped when they brought their plus one. All the other staff, the younger staff that I'd mostly see are nice and helpful! I truly felt discriminated, there was no reason to talk to me or looked at me the way he did. He was straight up rude and not humbled at all

She canceled her membership and of course I didn't want to purchase one after that!

Great atmosphere. Massage beds, red light, tanning, sauna, classes, child care, free weights, machines, nice cardio section, everything you need in a gym, two tier levels of membership one for just weights the other for weights + everything else, ability to bring guest and the child care and all that stuff. Pretty standard gym pricing for a gym. Great location as well. Quick to get to from just about everywhere in town.

I moved to the area a year ago and haven’t been in a gym since. I signed up here after viewing the facility and then signed up for my one free personal training session. Amber reached out as my trainer and we scheduled a session. We chatted for a bit about my goals and limitations. In the past I struggled with form and incorrectly using machines. After my first session my muscles were so sore but in a good way. I have been training with Amber for over a month now and I can already see the difference in the strength I’m developing. She also sends me the workout routine that we did that day and then other routines to switch it up. She is very knowledgeable and personable and even checks in with me between sessions. I struggle with a busy schedule and lack of motivation to make it to the gym sometimes but having a personal trainer to hold me accountable and push me through the hard days is what I need and Amber is amazing !

I would not recommend this gym. They charged me an unexpected late fee for a credit card that had been on file for most of the year. The card was in good standing, paid off, never canceled, and had a high credit limit, so there was no reason for this issue. When I went to the gym to inquire, the staff brushed me off, directing me to the owner’s email. After emailing the owner, they sent me a phone number for their processing company, but the only way to contact the company was by entering a code specific to the gym’s management—something I obviously didn’t have.

I emailed the owner again, specifically explaining my problem with contacting the number they gave me, but they didn’t respond. Eventually, I called them, and they claimed they had been sick but assured me they would text me as soon as possible to contact the card processing service. Weeks went by, and I received no follow-up. I even suggested they provide some sort of credit for in-store drinks or protein shakes as a way to resolve the situation, but the owner dismissed the idea and stated they don’t offer credits or provide statements.

This could have been solved so easily with better customer service, but instead, the gym lost my business. I don’t recommend joining unless you’re okay with being ignored when issues arise.

As someone who works in customer service daily, this situation was disheartening simply because it could have been avoided so easily.

My boyfriend and I have had this membership for nearly 6 months and haven’t been able to workout at this gym at all! Because there’s been something wrong with our card and everytime we called up there or went in person we were told a different reason as to why it wouldn’t work each time. So we gave up on it and recently moved to a new city and for two months we have BOTH called this gym MULTIPLE times daily and could not get anyone to answer the phone. Finally yesterday my boyfriend was able to get ahold of someone and the boy that answered the phone was the most disrespectful and unprofessional person! When my boyfriend explained why we haven’t been able to come in person to cancel our membership and told the boy how hard it was to get ahold of anyone there the employee had the audacity to say it was “inexcusable on your part” to my boyfriend when NO ONE at the gym would answer!!!! Then told my boyfriend he was making excuses?????? Are you kidding me? Then told my boyfriend that he would have to email someone to cancel with a written statement as to why he was canceling and would have to pay ANOTHER month a membership even though the fee came out the same day. Don’t waste your time and money as this gym it’s ran by children who are disrespectful and unprofessional and besides you can’t even get in the gym to workout EVER!

I really wish that your staff would enforce the rules that you have in place. Faculty closed Sunday 7.28 with about 8 minors still in the gym. Didn’t tell them to leave or anything. What do they do? Open the doors for all the rest to come in after them! 1440 has turned into Romper Room. Crunch kicked them out and this gym just lets them come in and tear up all the equipment with their TikTok workouts.

FOLLOW UP: not the time 7.28. The date. At 5:00 pm. You just have checked the wrong time because there were 5 people beside me at the smith machine. Another 5 or 6 at the squat rack. Treadmills and Stair climbers were in use. May want to check again.

The point being the employee made NO attempt to tell the minors they had to leave when he left. There are signs telling them they are TRESPASSING if they are in the building during non staffed hours, yet nothing changes.

Updating this review a second time to 1 star. If you’re looking for poor customer service and absolute rude management then this is your gym. Just from the start, management comes off rude and if you ever ask them for anything for example: tanning, change the TV, or any type of work that would require them to do their job they will look annoyed. They hire kids who run around throughout the day and aren’t even at the desk half the time so you’re stuck waiting there 10-15 minutes waiting for help. If it’s not their employees leaving while on shift it’s management just having piss poor attitudes.

If your door locks and you have a scan key to get in the facility you should NOT have to scan in again twice. I shouldn’t have to get hounded by management to scan in when I already scanned in from the lock door. Then I shouldn’t have to have Joe your employer start treating me like a child and being rude. And then even worse..after I say I want to cancel he gets an attitude with me and takes the paper away from me and says I have to come back the next day like I’m some sort of prisoner to the gym. I know the owner will reply and have some sort of excuse like he always does with each review but steer clear of this gym if you hate disorganized, rude, lazy, management.

Also, the gym has plenty of equipment that needs to be fixed, the tanning bed that I paid monthly for FINALLY got fixed after months of waiting.

Again, I expect an excuse from the owner like always but this was my experience and this is coming from someone who never leaves reviews and is always a quiet person. Joe, do better. As I can see the employee next to you who was also extremely rude is learning how to act towards customers because of you.

Just signed up on Saturday 11/4. The young lady who assisted me was so kind, helpful and informative. I went on Sunday for my first work out and there was another young lady who was kind and helpful as well. Yesterday was the first time I went with my family, there were 2 gentleman there who just gave us a look, didn’t acknowledge us. Since it was our first time there all together I asked if there was anything else I needed to do, they both just looked at each other and one shook his head. No friendliness or customer service at all, made us feel unwelcome. I’ll keep going to see how we feel. Maybe it’s just me? I greet and smile at everyone that comes along my way.

Loved this gym and everything they had to offer but ultimately decided to leave due to terrible management. There is 1 employee who I’ve raised concern about and they’ve down/said nothing. She has said very rude and deceitful things to other gym goers about appearance etc. She has a very entitled attitude as If she owns the gym. You have 24/7 access and there is a plethora of machines/free weights available for virtually any workout regimen. The restrooms are a bit small IMO and can get crowded during peak hours so that's the only reason I give 4/5 stars. But it's a gym, so the restrooms should be pretty low on your priority list when considering the right workout facility.

I decided to try this gym out because Golds in about to undergo a remodel and will be closed for a short time. After one visit and workout at the gym I knew I needed to cancel and figure something else out. The facility is small. At 4:30am when I work out the gym was over crowded. Their selection of machines and free weight machines is second rate with only one of each whereas others have 2-3 of more popular machines. The equipment from dumbbells, bumper plates etc all felt cheap. The locker rooms are a joke and I was taken back when I walked in it. Overall the gym and layout need to be changed. Will not be going back.

**ATTENTION MILITARY/VETERAN, LAW ENFORCEMENT: BEWARE THIS FACILITY AND ITS OWNERS** this gym will not publicly display that they offer a membership discount to include “premium” benefits for $14.40 a month for those of us that have served. I was informed by another member of this membership option after I had been paying $50+ a month for the same “benefits” because that membership option was not offered to me upon sign up.

When I confronted the owner (Josh) about the issue and asked to be reimbursed for the excessive fees I had paid until that point he not only flat out denied the opportunity to make things right he then threatened to “take it away”. As a Marine Corps combat veteran I find the lack of integrity of these owners to be extremely off putting (especially considering the pro military image they’re desperately trying to give off inside the facility.) When I asked why the membership option is not advertised anywhere and why it was not provided to me upon sign up he responded with “we used to advertise it.” And when I confronted him again with the fact that the membership option is NOT displayed ANYWHERE and that its deceitful and gives the impression that they want people overpaying for a membership he snapped back “yea! I want to make money!” He then followed that up with “it’s a free country you can go to another gym.”

The facility itself is dirty (which is ironic since they claim to own a cleaning business also.) a large amount of equipment is broken/torn and cable machines move sluggishly. There are broken mirrors all over the gym with passive aggressive messages on paper taped to them that say things like “stop throwing weights or bye bye” and the tanning bed has had half of the bulbs burnt out for over 10 months.

I can't wait to join this gym officially. The person working was so helpful and informative. The gym was clean, well managed and had a good open and inviting appeal. Response; Gym is a Gym it's a single market there isn't a difference due to its geographic location.
There hasn't been any new substantial equipment to justify spending $10,000 on mirrors that haven't been repaired or replaced. But yes there is 1 side to duct tape that's at least putting forth the effort.

This gym is broken and not very inspiring.
It's very common to have nuts, bolts, washers, damaged cables, broken glass, non operational lights and body fluids throughout the establishment.
The floor has some spots where the concrete is broken under the foam mats due to "kids" dropping 100lbs dumbbells then subsequently bouncing into the mirrors.
There does not appear to have planned routine maintenance, there is a cleaning service that shows up during normal business hours and they utilize the same cleaning materials given to the patrons.
As for the staff, every negative comment on here says"Post your Real name and nobody by that name has been a member " that's a pretty weak response rather listening to the people paying money for the services and equipment.
I visited the 1440 in Gilbert AZ and it was an amazing gym pretty sure Steve Beach wouldn't be impressed seeing how this branch is ran.

This gym would be top tier if the staff actually cleaned the gym periodically and were personable to customers throughout the day instead on being on their phones 100% of the time and if management actually gets the machines maintenanced on a regular basis. Plenty of machines that need parts. I almost cut my hand on the dip machine because the rubber is completely torn. For $30+ a month from everyone who goes here I'd think you would be able to keep this place up.

The owner of the gym begged me to come back after I stopped coming due to many reasons. I was denied first aid when I cut my finger. That is unacceptable.

This has been a great place to workout. It’s always so clean and the staff is wonderful. There are great amenities and they have childcare. Check them out of Facebook too for more information. Their prices are higher than normal gyms however you definitely get what you pay for. It’s well worth it!!! Plus, they have classes nearly everyday for everyone of all skill and fitness levels. If you’re questioning, give it a try. They allowed me to try it out for three days, and I knew I wanted a membership thereafter. You won’t be disappointed!

We joined 1440 back in March and have absolutely loved it since. There are great options for equipment and the staff are always ensuring the place is clean. They offer multiple classes every single day with AWESOME instructors who make it such a fun and welcoming atmosphere. They have a great smoothie bar, hydro massage chair, tanning bed, and a small sauna! If you’re trying to find a local gym, try it out. I highly recommend!!

Definitely recommend this gym. One of the first things I noticed going to the gym was the front desk ALWAYS telling me to have a great rest of my day. I have brought a couple of guests, and both of them loved it. One of my friends loved it so much that she’s going to try to find a Fitness 1440 closer to her home since she doesn’t live in the area. Going through these reviews, it’s super sad that trolls have enough time on their hands to write bad reviews. You can tell which reviews I’m calling “trolls”. Going to the gym can be VERY intimidating, I get it. I have found a love for the classes and have built friendships with other members! Don’t let the trolls deter you from trying this gym out. Give it a try! I know you will be happy you did!

Fitness 1440 and their class instructors have been life changing for me. The variety of classes, great private group class room and instructors who are personally invested make this place amazing! Fitness 1440 is the nicest, most up-to-date, and versatile gym in the Gallatin/Hendersonville area. There are multiple different areas in this gym to suit your fitness goals and workout styles. My husband and I have loved our experience at 1440. He is a military guy who works out every day and I’m a chubby stay at home mom who mostly goes to the gym to get an hour of me-time and we both find exactly what we need at 1440.

And the childcare room is safe, clean and fun! I have to drive home without letting my daughter see the sign or she begs to go to the gym.

The owners are heavily involved in the local Gallatin community, which is a huge plus for us as well! No matter what your reason for going to the gym, this is the place for you.

Gym 1440 is the best gym in the Hendersonville/Gallatin area. The gym staff is always kind and the equipment is current and classes are great! The tanning bed is an added bonus and the changing rooms are well equipped so I can clean up and go straight to work after!

Canceled my membership at this place months ago as I refuse to support a business that treats customers poorly (mostly people I know that had this happen to them). I rarely went to this gym during the summer as the staff was rude to me due to them losing my paperwork on the first day. (Them loosing paperwork is a reoccurring theme here) So I fill out the paper to cancel my membership and they say to me that I was good to go as it was all canceled. Only it turns out they have been charging me for months after they said it was canceled. So I go their today and ask them why I am still being charged and the manager working at the counter tells me he dose not have my paper and they must have "lost". We sit there for almost an hour going through various stacks of paper trying to find my from I already filled out. He never found it and told me their was nothing they could do about them losing my paper. I was not refunded for my money and this gym is vastly more expensive compared to other nearby gyms. TL:DR (this place cant keep their paperwork straight which costs me and others dearly. This place is a horrible excuse of a gym)

I love the gym itself and the atmosphere BUTTTTTT: The staff “not the owners” are not professional or polite at all! They don’t greet at all and when you have a question they act as if they’re bothered! The front desk staff is the frontline and first impression for the company!!! As a business this is veryyyy important!! Maybe the owners don’t know this but they need to know. Example: we just left the gym on this day 11/15/2022 around 12:50p.m. And the short lady with blonde hair at the front desk is alwayssss so unprofessional and grouchy! She’s not a good look for the business. Situations like this will make you go elsewhere! Other than that we love 1440!!!!!

1440 is a great place to workout! The staff is always friendly and willing to help with any question. That could be a question about your membership to your workout. I’d like to highlight Chelsea, she is a staff member I’ve had multiple interactions with and shes been amazing every time! I recently had to end my membership do to travel nursing, I’m not in town to continue my membership and she was so understanding and kind! Other gyms I’ve gone to make it such a hassle to end your membership. I will be sure to resign once I’m able to because the atmosphere this gym provides!

Loved the equipment and the 24/7 access to the gym, however, the manager was rude several times to me personally and not accommodating at all. I was told several times over the phone that I was only able to update my card on file by coming in "swiping" it - which was never open during hours that I could get there as I work full time. When I spoke to the manager about this all she said was "nope. I do this for people every day" and then she stormed off. I work in the fitness industry and have never seen such poor management or rude customer service. Super disappointed in the way management handled a simple conversation.

I do Zumba here and I love it the equipment is properly spaced and the equipment is new ventilation seems good. If it wasn't so far away I would make it my main gym
