At first I was excited to come to this gym with a friend who could not stop talking about it. They are currently remodeling which is great! However. I will not be back after seeing that they do not enforce a clean environment in the saunas. I did not see any posted rules within the locker room.

Fitness Central is a great place to get the exercise you need. My wife and I do water aerobics and personal training. In the last year, the facility has been vastly improved. The pool has been resurfaced and is now heated year round. New exercise equipment of all types have been added and the entire facility has been upgraded. Additional improvements are coming, as well.

As a new member of the gym. I have enjoyed seeing the progress of the remodel. It has come along quickly and smoothly. I left my previous gym due to not enough room in the free weights area. I’ve not one time had that problem at Fitness Central. The cleanliness of the gym and bathroom facilities is unmatched. Highly recommended.

The amount of work that has been put in to this place, since the new ownership has taken over, is incredible to say the least. The new entry way has a very welcoming feel to it. The renovation that has been done puts Fitness Central in a league of their own. The pool area has had a ton of work done to it as well and it shows. Plenty of room and chairs for however many friends and family members you would like to bring. Fantastic job on the changes from the top down!

Everyone here is amazing. I joined earlier this year and was overwhelmed by how far away my fitness goals seemed. Everyone welcomed me to the club, and I was able to find classes that I look forward to each day. All the classes I've taken have been modifiable to my own skill level. The outdoor pool is a huge benefit, and there are saunas and hot tubs in the locker rooms. The gym is clean, there are always updates and improvements happening. Overall a great place to spend time!

Hands down the best gym in Chattanooga and it's not even close (and I've tried them all!). This place is CLEAN, and I commend the staff for constantly making sure we have a clean facility. New equipment is killer and still new stuff arriving all the time. Updates looks phenomenal (and they're still updating!). Staff is super friendly. Childcare and childcare staff is A+ (our son is ALWAYS begging to go!), and the hours are consistent with no issues. We love being members of Fitness Central and continue to look forward to additional upgrades, a new facility downtown and all this place has to offer. It's such a breath of fresh air to see a gym in Chattanooga with owners who actually CARE and want the best for members.

This place is the best all around gym I've ever belonged to. From boxing to spinning to swimming to lifting, it really has everything. And families are welcome. Lot of kids playing in the pool gives the place a sense of normalcy we don't get in the brand name chain gyms. This place welcomes you with the warmth and friendliness you don't see in other places. The Sportsbarn has been offering steady workouts for years. I relocated in my job to the Chattanooga area years ago. I was highly recommended to ✅ them out. They are in the current location made it convenient for myself. They offer the extra luxury of steam, sauna, swimming, and dedicated fitness persons to assist you. The Chattanooga area has it share of workout facilities. The Sportsbarn can certainly hold their own 💪. Our Scenic City 🏙️ welcomes all of these facilities. They certainly contributes to the facts , why we are the most popular visitation City 🌆 in the nation. We are a Sports Town ! We love the challenge of athletic competition. Examples of that being the Ironman Competition. We have hosted them for years. A lot of their athletes workout at the Sportsbarn. They also use many of the other successful workout facilities. I loved my time here, but being a trainer I moved to different workout facilities. I love the challenge of training 💪💪, others as well as myself. You guys cant go wrong on your choices. I'm glad you are committed to taking care of yourself. It could be here , which is great 👍. If you are getting it in, that's even better. Worked out at the downtown location years ago and knew I would be happy with any of the other locations. Definitely an upgrade from the Y as I always had to wait on machines there...I never have to at Sportsbarn! The energy just feels better there too. 7 years at $67 a month. Today I attempted to bring my 14 year old daughter to try working out as a possible lifestyle habit. Don or whoever doesn’t allow guests and would increase my rate. He actually seemed pleased to run off business. Do yourself a favor and invest in a home gym. No Don’s there.

Hey! I definitely loved this gym club for the last 20 years! I wish I could have told you how awesome it was so long ago. It is undergoing many Renovations but the outside pool is definitely still its CenterPoint.

You get a mixture of eye candy, buff heads and people who just want to get in shape. They have changed the old school bar into a child's area so you can get your workout on even if you have your kids. Definitely take a dip at the outside pool as there is ample room for suntan's, eating and so much pool side party fun.

The weight room and class exercise room are awesome as well. This has to me one of the better locker rooms in the area as there's a sauna, massage therapist, hot tub and showers Galore.

It is conveniently located near many things including the mall. And there's a convenient Sam's right across the street after a good long day of sweat Blood and Tears. They definitely treat their members well and I've never had an issue at this location. Friendly staff and not too many crazy people that are irritating and annoying in the weight room. Definitely go and check it out and you can even network with quite a few people here as well.

If I could give less then one star then I would. I signed up and when signing up I specifically asked if this was a contract. I was told that it was month to month and that I could cancel anytime. When I tried to cancel my membership they told me that I had signed a one year contract. I was blatantly lied to. This is yet another gym that has salesmen ready to misinform just to take your money and not care about honesty or integrity. I would definitely not recommend this gym to anybody.

I really have enjoyed my membership here at sportsbarn for the past 8 weeks. I primarily go to the downtown location and find that everyone is friendly. I love the whirlpool, showers, and equipment. I do have to say that I was wanting someone to measure my body fat and no one does that here. I find that extremely strange. I wish they had some 6pm evening classes. The childcare area is nice at the downtown and Lee highway locations. I find the Lee highway location is nicer than the one downtown. My biggest complaint is how the downstairs area for the downtown location is very very outdated and old. Not necessarily the equipment but the walls, decor, and floor area. I find myself wondering how you pay 60+ monthly for a membership and they don't invest in updating. Then I was pretty turned off to the whole no one can do measurements or body fat. Lastly, it's crowded from 6 to 7am and 5 to 6pm. The housekeepers keep the locker areas amazingly clean. Love the entire staff.

After going to a church gym (great price but limited options), the Sportsbarn is paradise. I rarely have to wait on any equipment and they have TONS of machines and weights. I haven't tried any classes yet, but I've heard good things from friends. Yes, it is on the expensive side, but that is worth it. If you're under 30, there is a special rate that lets you go to all the locations, which is really cool!
