Fuel Fortress is hands-down the best gym I've ever trained at. The atmosphere is electric, the equipment is top-tier, and the entire place is set up for people who actually want to get stronger and better. Honest Review
Cons / Issues:
No climate control: Zero air circulation, no visible A/C. Air feels stale unless they open the garage door (which only happens when staff are present).

Not safe for sensitive conditions: If you have any health condition worsened by heat or poor air quality, this gym can be unsafe.
Early mornings are tough: At 5 AM (unstaffed hours), you’re stuck in stale, hot air with no ventilation in summer the summer so most the year.

Influencer environment: Lots of filming, with no rules or boundaries. I literally had a cameraman’s butt in my face while benching. Staff don’t intervene even when asked.

Limited equipment: While they do have some unique and cool pieces, there isn’t much variety overall.

Pros / Positives:
Unique equipment: Some cool, less-common machines and tools you won’t find everywhere.

Aesthetic space: Feels like an “influencer gym,” which may appeal if that’s what you’re looking for.

Overall:
I wanted to love this gym. I came here several times over 8 months so I gave it a GOOD chance. Unfortunately, the lack of climate control and absence of rules around filming made it uncomfortable and even unsafe for me. Love the equipment but, the environment ruins it (for myself). Until those issues are fixed, I can’t recommend it for a safe, consistent workout environment.

Incredible facility with great equipment, and CLEAN. Currently in a contest prep and Fuel Fortress had everything I needed to stay on track while I was in town from cardio equipment, to sauna, to great lifting machines, and a posing room. Couldn’t have asked for a better gym to train at while in town. The owner was super responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be coming back to visit!

Really a great gym! All levels of fitness here. The equipment is top notch, probably the highest quality I’ve used. Member's voices matter to them. If anything breaks, it’s fixed- in no time- and usually on the same day which is a major step up from the last gym we belonged to. They keep members updated on their social media for all gym things that might affect you (including if a piece of equipment has damage) which is excellent. The people who work here are extremely nice and always greet you with a smile. 24/7 access which you CANNOT beat. It is a smaller gym, so less space means fewer pieces of equipment (even though every possible exercise can be done). The size does makes me nervous as their clientele list grows since peak times are already rather crowded. Hopefully an expansion is an option if clientele gets too large? You do have to dodge some tripods at times. The gym encourages videoing for promotional reasons which I understand but it’s something to be aware of. So half star for the tripods and another half star for the size. Other than that, really a great gym all around.

I like to deadlift and squat in just my socks and i always have dirty socks at gyms after that is annoying, not here, odd flex for sure lol. Very disappointed. We thought that when we began paying for the membership the construction was complete and the gym was open. The gym did not open for another 10 days after they began charging us the membership fee. So basically we paid for the use of a gym that wasn’t even open.

Once we were able to access the facilities we quickly realized that this gym does not fit our needs so we tried to cancel our monthly membership. Per their contract, which I did sign, we have to give a 30 day notice and cancel in person. We tried to correspond with them, explaining that we never used the facility and they began charging us before it was open. They responded simply with a copy of their cancellation policy. I understand the policy but as a small business, I would hope they would be more reasonable. We never used the gym and they began charging us before construction was complete. We will end up paying for a family membership for 3 months since we are in the middle of our billing cycle, before we will be released from the contract. Also, you can sign up online but you have to make an appointment with the owner to cancel in person. They did let me cancel over the phone because there was no way I could accommodate their schedule.
With that said, it does not fit our needs because there are no lockers and no ellipticals. There are lots of punching bags and weights but as an older couple we felt out of place.

Such an off putting example of what a gym should be. Offer the customer nothing of value, and I mean nothing not even a free day pass. instead I got an inhospitable front desk that didn’t even greet us when we walked in, and grossly overpriced membership plans. The vibe of the gym was one of entitlement and a greediness toward the members as if the members needed the gym and not the other way around. I walked in excited and honestly ready to be part of a new gym with like minded ppl just getting after it, but walked out feeling disappointed with just another run of the mill, over promising, over priced and under delivering greedy gym. I never thought I’d say this as I was hoping to leave the over crowded gym I belong to now and have been going to for some time now, but honestly I’m just better off staying where I’m at. My gym might be overcrowded but it has a lot of equipment and the all important price tag is affordable, along with a hospitable staff. And at the end of the day they still offer me way more options and benefits. Hope this was helpful.
