It was my first class back at a CrossFit gym after 3 years out of the gym. I really appreciated coach Jarred guiding me back into working out and his

I have been going to Full Steam for about 9 months. I was hesitant at first because I had no experience with weights and CrossFit. It didn’t take long at all for me to feel comfortable, to meet friendly people, and learn all about the new type of workouts. The coaches are amazing. They always have time for questions and are great at explaining technique and new workouts. I even recently received nutrition counseling and it has totally added to my fitness goals and journey. Meghan has a very personalized approach to training. Even in a class of about 12 people, I never felt overlooked—instead, I felt like I was receiving individual attention with great tips to improve my weightlifting posture. She did an excellent job balancing her attention among everyone in the class, making each person feel seen and supported. Dropped in for a 12:15 PM CrossFit class on Monday, May 5th while driving from Colorado to Florida and I was so thankful that I made it! Justin was an outstanding coach and the group was amazing to work with. Everybody was so welcoming and friendly and the gym itself and the equipment was tremendous. The process for signing up was simple and easy and I could not be more satisfied with the drop in experience at this gym. Meghan did a great job leading us through warm ups and teaching us the technique needed to do clusters properly. I appreciate her taking the time to build the entire motion from the beginning movements all the way through the complete lift. She was attentive to the class while we performed the lifts and kept me safe by advising me to pull the barbell from the knee position today. It was a top tier coaching experience!

Physical Therapy Review
Dr. Ana Kelly is outstanding at her craft. I’ve been dealing with shoulder issues for years, and it came to a head last year when I finally injured my right shoulder playing sports. With two tears and a bone spur, I was given the option for surgery or PT after an MRI. I was first on the surgery route, but thankfully was convinced to try PT with Dr. Ana. I’m so glad I did because in 6 months I’m feeling better than before the injury! Dr. Ana is professional, knowledgeable, flexible with my schedule, and encouraging throughout the entire process of helping me recover, strengthen my shoulder, and perfect my technique when working out. I recommend PT with her to anyone dealing with pain or injury.

Having known Ana for well over a decade, I can confidently say that her commitment to improving overall health and fitness is hard to find. From our high school days, Ana stood out as someone deeply invested in health and fitness. It’s no surprise that she chose to turn her passion into a profession in physical therapy.
Today, I had asked Ana about addressing my forward neck posture; so I do not turn into Quasimoto when I age. FSCF has helped me do a 180 on my health. I joined over a year ago feeling lost, borderline accepting diagnoses of hypertension and pre-diabetes (future diabetic patient) as a course for my life. I worked remotely and had adapted to a sedentary lifestyle. I was never one to enjoy the traditional gym. And I had convinced myself I was not “ready” for something crazy like CrossFit.
However, I couldn’t have been more wrong. Joining FSCF showed me that we are all on different phases of life and there’s always something you can adjust in each workout to meet you where you are. The key is just being consistent with putting in the work.
The coaches are top notch and are always willing to share their passion with their classes. The community has been an unexpected gift. No matter their level, the members here are always encouraging one another. From the top performers to the new beginners, everyone is welcomed, encouraged and supported. In and out of the box.
I also love the fact that I don’t have to think about building a program. I just show up and do the work that’s been programmed by experienced coaches and athletes.
Over a year into this journey, I am no longer fighting hypertension, and no longer on track for diabetes. My A1c has leveled out and my blood pressure has completely normalized for the first time in years. I am so grateful for the decision I made to walk into the box last summer. We were created to move. Now, I can’t imagine life without movement and training.

She was diligent about getting me a quick appointment. Her assessment was thorough and the exercises she prescribed helped me a lot. PT Review:
Working with Full Steam CrossFit, and particularly Ana as their on-staff DPT, has been a fantastic experience. Staying consistent with CF throughout a pregnancy and then back to the gym for the first time postpartum can be a bit nerve-wracking when you’re trying to figure out how to safely move. I felt very confident in all the coaches’ knowledge and balanced-approach as I navigated my body’s changes, but I particularly always appreciated Ana giving me evidence-based knowledge of how I could safely move while pregnant (and not treating me like a porcelain doll haha!).
I have also felt confident in myself and in what my body can do as it heals postpartum.
I had a back spasm out of nowhere 2 weeks ago, unrelated to exercise, that left me hunched over. I was unable to pick up my baby from the crib or get up from my bed on my own. I immediately texted Ana and she was able to see me the same day as she recognized the gravity of my injury. And she didn’t think twice about doing all of this ON HER BIRTHDAY! 🙏🏼
It was thanks to her knowledge, assessment, and attention to detail that I was able to start walking more and slowly straighten upright as the week progressed. She also helped me in formulating a plan in both prevention and treatment in case this should occurs again.
Ultimately, one sees their own vulnerability when mobility is compromised, but it was very reassuring to know that there was someone that could help. It is even better when the person helping you is one of your own coaches who is familiar with your mobility, progress, and ability in the gym.
It was a bit scary to go back to the gym post back spasm, but Ana checked up on me multiple times and guided me in getting back to working out regularly. It feels great to be back to normal and not be afraid to move. Thank you, Ana, for not only helping me be able to exercise again, but for guiding me in order to be physically at my best for my family and work.

Physical Therapy Review.
Around the beginning of October of 2023 I injured my thoracic nerve performing very strenuous movements with more weight than I probably should have. I started seeing their physical therapist at Full Steam CrossFit, Dr. Ana Kelley, in November of 2023. She thoroughly and carefully examined the issue, figured out that it was, in fact, a thoracic nerve injury (and not a pulled muscle or something), and from there I continued to see her once a month until I was fully healed. Fast forward to September of 2024, I feel that the injury is probably fully healed, I went from not being able to do a single pull up at the time of injury, and now I can do 10-12. My overhead pressing strength has even gotten better than it was before the injury! If you feel that something isn't feeling right with any of your movements, or if you if you are experiencing unusual pain, you owe it to yourself to look into Full Steam Physical Therapy.

Prior to personal training with Coach Ana, I was suffering from painful, pinchy hips during squats and life in general. After just one session with her my pain was gone. Starting with an assessment, she provided me with mobility movements to layer in before and after my workouts. One week later I was back to full depth squats, making PRs, and had reduced recovery time between sessions. Not to mention, my low back pain slowly crept away with my improved form.
Not only does Full Steam offer engaging classes on a daily basis, all of the coaches are engaged with how you are performing individually to ensure you’re working optimally and pain free. You can’t beat that!

I've been to many gyms in my years. Nothing quite hit the nail on the head like Fullsteam. I walked in and immediately felt welcomed, like I'd been there for years. I am a Junior in high school and decided to started Full Steam Crossfit 2 months ago. I’m so glad that I did! It has been an amazing experience and I’ve already noticed so much progress! Joining Full Steam has proven to be one of the best decisions I have made in my fitness journey. I knew that I was signing up for a gym membership, but I didn’t fully understand the benefits that came along with the programming, coaching, and community.
The programming at Full Steam is methodical, informed, and extremely effective. If you can commit to consistency, then you will see results. There is no debate. The programming and education takes a top-down approach, and there is a focus on bettering members and coaches alike.
It is apparent that each of the coaches are passionate about their career, and they bring that energy into each and every class. The attention to detail is incredible, and I am always learning new movements and techniques. All of the coaches are outstanding, but I want to give a shout out to Coach Meghan, Coach Ryen, Coach Brad, and Coach Rachel who have all encouraged and accelerated the results I am seeing.
The benefit of Full Steam that I was most pleasantly surprised by is the community of the gym and its members. The culture is defined by friendliness, encouragement, and growth. It is hard to materialize the benefit of a coach or member cheering you on during your workout, but the boost has certainly gotten me through some of the hardest workouts.

I moved to Chattanooga this year and joined Full Steam CrossFit with the hopes of finding something to enhance my fitness and consistently challenge me. What I’ve gotten since joining is that, and so much more: a community that encourages me to be the best version of myself in all aspects, a group of like-minded friends that make CrossFit my favorite hour of every day, an undeniably talented and strong team of coaches who listen to me and truly have my best interests at heart, and a stronger sense of self and the type of person I strive to be.

Full Steam fue el primer lugar que me recomendaron y desde que llegué ya no quise buscar más. Bien se sabe que crossfit es una comunidad y en Full Steam lo vives día a día. There are many great things about Full Steam. My favorite part about this gym though is that all of the coaches care about helping each person reach their individual goals. This means that regardless of if you want to make sure you stay strong as you age, train for Olympic lifting, train for crossfit , or long distance running or anything in-between, the coaches are supportive and knowledgeable enough to know how each person may need to modify a workout. Going beyond just the gym; they understand and support all of the factors that go into your well-being: recovery, nutrition, life stresses etc. Overall a great group of coaches and fellow members!

I have been interested in exercising since 2014 but constantly struggled with sticking to one thing, I would try out all the of the current workout trends, but never stick to one. in 2020, I started working out at FSCS about I have grown to love barbell work, At first, I was hesitant and honestly intimidated by the term "Crossfit", but after being there, I realized that it was an amazing, supportive and caring space. The coaches really invest in you and they try their best to accommodate to your physical needs. What I love the most is that you will run into people from all different phases and walks of life which made me feel even more comfortable. Before I started working out at Full Steam I didn’t know much about CrossFit. The only things I knew were what people had told me which was ironically all negative! Haha. After years of having an intransigent decision that CrossFit was something I would never be interested in. I met Jordan Core, Owner & Coach of Full Steam. He told me about the Physical Therapist who was also a coach at Full Steam. I was eager to get a consult with Ana Kelly PT, DPT. I knew I needed to work on strength training & I felt like working with Ana could be a unique experience to train with a Physical Therapist as well as CrossFit Goddess.
I was excited to meet her because after having 5 knee surgeries I had seen quite a few PTs. Each one was committed to helping me walk again but the progress that I made was not where I wanted to be, even after extending sessions longer than deemed necessary. I had a complex knee injury that tore my ACL, MCL, PCL, patellar tendon , & lateral meniscus which resulted in 2 full ACL reconstructions among other surgical repairs. I tried to get back to enjoying things like running, snow skiing, hiking, wakeboarding, tennis & demanding workouts. I did the things I loved again but, I could not do them without pain, worry of re-injury, & flair up swelling. Often times there was a waiting game for symptoms to subside so I could get back to activity (so freaking annoying). Ana Kelly & the Full Steam Staff was a pivotal turning point in helping rebuild my leg strength & enhancing my over all fitness.
My first consult with Ana was great she was very thorough & reassuring. She made no specific promises other than do her best to help me. I worked with Ana for a few months & gained a lot of respect for her & her method of PT. My concern with my knee was stability, strength, and flexibility. She was able to address my concerns, give me exercises, feedback, techniques, & tools to use when experiencing pain & stiffness. I gained new understanding on how to work through pain while avoiding making the problem worse while continuing to progress. I am eternally grateful for Dr. Coach Ana, she helped reshape my outlook on PT & rebuild strength & confidence in my knee.
While working with Ana I decided to do some onboarding classes with Jordan just for the hell of it. I learned a lot about CrossFit, olympic lifts, strength movements, the importance of aerobic capacity, & the gymnastic movements involved in CrossFit. After onboarding, I officially decided to get a membership. At this point I was mad as hell, because I did the thing I said I’d never do, CrossFit. Next thing I know I’m making a list of all sorts of goals, ya’ll!! What is coming over me!?! I set ridiculous goals like, 10 pull ups, a muscle up, a pistol squat with my “compromised” leg. I started going into the gym everyday my schedule allowed. At this point I realized that the quality of programming and workouts at Full Steam are unmatched.
I was able to meet the rest of the Coach’s by attending their classes Annabelle, Jonathan, Meghan, Ryen, & Bradley. The coaches were attentive to form & technique. This runs deep as I come from a gymnastics background where form and technique are vital to improvement, safety and success. Each coach is inspiring, motivating, & want to help each member succeed. You can tell that this is not just their job but it’s their passion. Each coach is approachable and willing to answer questions. They are able to provide scaleable options for any fitness level or restriction you may have.
Another perk of Full Steam is that they have a massage therapist that is wildly knowledgeable about body processes and utilizes techniques that help when you are dealing with pain & sports injury. Richmond is fantastic resource that puts his clients first.
I can only say good things about Full Steam, the coaches & the members feel like family and have brought so much joy into my life! I am devastated that I am moving away and will no longer be able to workout at this gym. Chattanooga don't sleep on the opportunity to workout at the best gym in town!

If you are serious about improving in CrossFit and your overall fitness, this gym will help you get there. It’s very different from a typical family style box where the coaching is basic and the gym follows a company program. The owner of this gym hand creates the programming for all the members and the coaches are extremely knowledgeable and effective in teaching great technique that will help you see results. I also love how there are a lot of fit female coaches! In the past gyms I have been to, the coaching staff tended to be more male-dominate. As a female athlete myself, having these female role models is very motivating and makes going to the gym less intimidating.

Full Steam CrossFit is the best, no questions asked. After joining, I can’t keep my wife’s hands off of me (as if I’d want to). She says it’s because I’m really freaking awesome, but I know deep down it’s because of my incredible body transformation and that her level of attraction for me has just gone through the roof.

In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, I gained 115 lbs and had to go on blood pressure medication. Starting CrossFit as a beginner can be intimidating because of the complex movements. Coach Megan and Coach Ana do such a great job providing secondary movements that beginners can do to help you meet your fitness goals. They are friendly but firm coaches who want nothing but the best for FullSteam members. I have really enjoyed it here and am back down to my pre pandemic weight. Full Steam Crossfit has amazing staff. The staff is encouraging and knowledgeable. I transfered at 7 months pregnant to this gym and was given various modifications to meet my needs.
At 6 weeks postpartum I started Birthfit, a class for mothers either at the prenatal and postpartum stage. In this class I have worked on core breathing as my base, and gradually started working on upper and lower body. It has been GREAT!

i have never felt comfortable in a gym so i steered clear of them. i never thought i’d step foot in a CrossFit gym for sure. i had watched competitions on TV and i “knew” that was out of the question for me. i was wrong.
i walked into FSCF in september 2021. i was six months into my goal of being intentional about my health. onboarding with coach kristin solidified my decision this was the place for me. i haven’t regretted my decision to join. i recall coach kristin saying i should start out with maybe 3 days of week of training. ha! 6 days a week, baby! i have fear of missing out. has it been easy? nope. has it been challenging? yes. has it been rewarding? definitely.
i’ve had the privilege to train with coach meghan the most out of all the coaches in my first year. having a familiar and friendly face was key to the progress i have made in my first year of being with FSCF. she’s the best!
but so are the other coaches! coach jonathan not only has a awesome fade all the time, but he’s great at breaking down the individual pieces of the movements we are working through.
coach kristin and coach annabelle have been very helpful on my nutrition journey which has made a world of difference in my training and overall gains!
coach ana is super dope and smart. the combination of her being a CrossFit athlete and physical therapist sets her apart.
coach mike has challenged me to step out of my comfort zone.
coach ryen has a great sense of humor and has been super helpful with gymnastics progressions.
our newest coach, coach bradley, has been a great friend while training together. he has a wealth of experience to share and he’s always pushing me during metcons.
as far as coach jordan, that dude programs some crazy stuff - at least from my point of view - but i’ve learned there is a method to the madness. he runs a great program and i know there is more to come.
no matter what your level of fitness may be, you are going to learn and grow, especially with the coaching we have. top notch!

I just completed my on boarding classes with Coach Meghan and it prepared me so much! I have never been an athlete, so was unfamiliar with the techniques CrossFit utilizes. In our one on one training Coach Meghan was extremely patient and thoroughly taught me the best form for each exercise. She took time to make sure I understood each muscle group being used and the thought behind each exercise. I did the 5 session pack and at the end of our sessions walked away feeling so much more comfortable! I started going to classes and am feeling stronger with every class! This is truly a great gym! I have been a member of Fullsteam for about two months now remotely. Training has been going so well but I decided to drive three hours from Georgia and meet/train with the team in person. I was a bit hesitant at first because they have 5 intro classes personal sessions before getting into classes. I did 5 classes with coach Jonathan and it was awesome, learned a lot about my limitations and some items to work and improve on. The classes have been fun, the coaches are very approachable if you have questions, and I truly enjoy going to my 6am class. The coaches buddy us up sometimes and it’s provided me the opportunity to meet other members and I’d say make some friends. The 6am class is always a blast

I Had a drop in class here 2 weeks ago to check out the gym and community. Had been in contact with coach Meghan via text since I’m out of state. She is friendly, very personable helpful and answered all my “dumb” questions since CrossFit is fairly new to me. Once stepping foot into that gym I felt very welcomed. Coach John led the class that day and he was also awesome, really informative, gave me and my brother some one on one since it was our first time doing split jerks. The atmosphere and people in that gym are top notch. I never once felt intimidated or unwelcome the whole time I was there. Jordan and his team of expert coaches came into my life around March of 2020. I had reached out to Full Steam Crossfit right before I separated from active duty. I spoke directly with Jordan and had told him of some pretty serious injuries I had sustained while on active duty and how they limited me on what I was able to accomplish physically in the gym. I had also expressed some concern about the atmosphere of previous Crossfit gyms that I had been associated with. Let me start by saying, when I joined this gym I was hesitant to do the "CrossFit thing." I had always been an athlete who played sports and worked out, but never committed to a gym or routine...
But my concerns were completely quelled after one class/meeting with the professionals at Full Steam. From nutritional to functional to personal goals, every coach here is deeply invested into each athlete on a level that I hadn't personally experienced. The coaches at FSCF will work with you at your skill level at your pace while pushing you in a way that sets you up for success!
Walking into a gym and knowing you have personalized and professional programming is an incredible experience-- the confidence you gain as you learn and grow is life-changing!

10/10 would recommend this gym to anyone at any skill level. Don’t let the idea of CrossFit intimidate you if you’ve never done it. I joined in April 2021 and had not done CrossFit prior. Jordan does a phenomenal job of intentionally programming training sessions to properly build strength and endurance over time. All the coaches are excellent at stepping everyone through the program for the day, and every workout has scaling options to meet you at your fitness level (though you might be challenged!).
Most importantly, FSCF is truly a community. Everyone is encouraging, non-judgemental, and has a positive attitude.

From the short time I've been at Full Steam, it already feels like home! It is the best gym community I've ever been apart of and you won't find a more uplifting environment. Coach Jordan does a fantastic job with the class programming and makes it accessible for all fitness levels. Coming from a gym in South Carolina, I often felt as though longstanding members received less coaching as time went on and it became harder to progress. This has never been the case at Full Steam. Each coach takes time out of every class to coach every athlete, regardless of their experience level. As a coach at Full Steam now myself, I couldn't ask for a more positive work environment that constantly encourages us to learn more as coaches so that we can serve our members better. I wouldn't recommend another gym more!

With a lifelong athletic background there had always been sports in my youth and then yoga, running, hiking, even a crazy stint with trapeze, and of course various typical gym memberships on into my middle age. With the pandemic gifting me 20 new pounds and several personal life changes (read: disappointments), I literally woke up one day knowing I needed a new focus for my physical energy and a game changer for my mental fog. Having self-directed workouts was no longer satisfying. Plus, the results had plateaued. I reached out to Full Steam and immediately heard back from the owner. I was nervous about walking in there because I had heard cross fit was intense and was only for super elite athletes. Besides, I really wasn’t that interested in Olympic weightlifting. The anxiety dissipated the minute I walked in the door and met Coach Jordan.
Having just surpassed my 6-month anniversary, I have seen definite results in my body. But, here’s the real kicker: I am learning! I’m learning about my body, learning about building strength, growing muscle, advancing skills and learning not to take myself too seriously! (an ongoing struggle, for sure!) I also look forward to the classes and the community. My life is enhanced by this place and the people there.
As someone who is new to cross fit, it is an easy 5-star recommendation from my vantage point My positive observations after 6 months:
• The coaches know what they are doing. And, they pay attention! You get REAL coaching in every class!
• There are plenty of classes on the calendar
• It’s more than a gym! It’s a community! (yet there’s no weird pressure to participate!) I have made new friends.
• There are all skill levels. (Yes, there are some amazing athletes working out there, but there are beginners too! Don’t be nervous like I was. Be eager and get in there!)
• Humility is the starting line at Full Steam! I have yet to encounter one single gym jerk at this place. Everyone comes in and gets to it. And, everyone from coaches all the way down through the classmates encourage one another and lend a helping hand with a positive attitude.
• Full menu of services. FSCF also facilitates sports massage, nutrition consulting, one-on-one coaching. There’s even a professional physical therapist on staff with a menu of services available.
• Respect! It’s a thing! I get my butt handed to me in there Every. Single. Day. It’s hard for Type-A overachievers such as myself to not be good at something right out of the gate. I feel comfortable enough at FSCF to “fail” or struggle with a workout. Nobody is judging me! Folks respect one another there. If you’re carrying that fear, set it aside and walk in the door anyhow.
Here are some recommendations for beginners I wish I had known:
• Ask questions- the classes are only an hour long and they move fast. If you don’t understand something, raise your hand or ask a classmate next to you. When I started doing this, I got more comfortable.
• Listen and pay attention. (please don't be a motor mouth when the coach is coaching!!!)
• Learn the acronyms in advance – I was lost the first few weeks. I wish I had done some quick googling to understand the lingo.
• Prepare for class – check the app and know what workout is in store. Watch the Facebook videos the night before. Get there early if you can and ask questions.
• Be careful – it’s easy to get injured if you come in all cocky and try to show off. Humble yourself and remember that technique comes FIRST. I am so much more prone to injury now in my late 40’s, I started with 3 days a week on alternating days. If you've gotten out of shape, be mindful about this in the beginning.
• You gotta want to learn! It’s not just about getting ripped. I have developed a new interest and respect for Olympic weightlifting.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this gym! I started in November of 2020 and have loved the gym ever since! The coaches push me to be the best that I can be! I was working in Tennessee & I wanted to workout but didn’t wanted to go to the gym so I searched up a CrossFit gym near me. This was my first ever CrossFit gym that I have ever walked in to. I was unease but the coaches & the people who go to Full Steam made me feel so welcomed! I felt very comfortable. I was surprised by the knowledge that each coach had about movements & nutrition!
Every coach will help you succeed & answer to every question you have! Don’t worry if you’re injured or can’t do a certain movement because they will help you in every single step!!

I have only been with Full Steam for about a month. Coming into a CrossFit gym without ever doing that style lifting can be quite nerve racking. However, I instantly felt at home. I have nothing but good things to say about this community and gym. I say community because I think that is one of the values I can appreciate the most about Full Steam CrossFit. From day 1 the coaches and members make it a point to know who you are.
The Coaches are hands down some of the best people I have had in my corner, for anything. Each of them are highly skilled and knowledgeable of their craft. You can tell that these coaches really take ownership in what they know. All of them have their own styles, but each of them know how to identify and fix things that you aren’t able to see. I have almost instant results from each interaction with them. They will help you get to the goals that you want to achieve if you are willing to put the work in.

I 100% recommend Full Steam CrossFit! I had been going to Gold’s Gym 5-6 days a week and doing weight training for over a year. However, I was not really seeing much progress and my body weight never really changed. After being a member of Full Steam CrossFit for just 2 months, I went from 150 lbs to 168 lbs! For years I had tried to bulk up but never could. The coaches and trainers helped me form a proper meal plan designed for gaining muscle mass to follow in addition to attending the classes. I’ve been a member for almost a year. The coaches and the owners of this gym truly care about you in and out of the gym. They have helped me stay motivated even when the gyms physical doors are closed. During the Covid closing, full steam has continued to coach online and has even helped members borrow equipment needed to keep pushing ourselves to be the healthiest that we can be. After 5 years of Crossfit, no box box compares to the skill, attention and friendliness of Jarod (owner) and his coaching staff. In just a few short months, they have educated and tweaked my olympic lifts and gymnastics to improve technique and safety as well. The box follows true to the crossfit philosophy with the added benefit of Jarod's scientific programming methods. The members are as friendly as they come as a result of Jarod's friendly, outgoing personality. The coaches pay close attention to each and every class attendee. Dropped in at full steam at a noon class and got some of the best coaching on my snatches. With 5 years of CrossFit under my belt it was nice to get a good eye on my Olympic lifts and have some technical advice that will help me improve my snatches. It’s obvious the coaches here are keen on sticking to the workout’s stimulus and do their best at providing guidance to fit that stimulus. The box is smaller than normal but is plenty of space for Full Steam’s small classes (only 3 people at the noon class) and with a good layout so that the coaches can always keep an eye on you. I definitely recommend this box if you are looking for educated, experienced coaches that also keep class sizes small and personal.

Full Steam CrossFit is by far my favorite workout experience so far. The coaching staff reminds me greatly of the best strength and conditioning coach I worked with at Auburn University. The focus on fundamentals and technique, rather than stroking ego, keeps everyone safe from injuries while making you stronger all-around as you train. I’m so happy I was able to drop in for a month here from out of town. I had such a great experience here. Everyone was so welcoming, nice, and accommodating. The coaches were some of the most knowledgeable coaches I have worked with. They taught me how to do my first snatch and helped me work on my clean and jerks. Be warned: If you come to this steel factory get ready to live under the squat rack and lift like you never have before: with form so precise that German engineers are still trying to figure out the math behind it. The community at Full Steam CrossFit is phenomenal! The coaches are very knowledgeable and care about us as whole people. They will ask and actually want to know how you're doing. They encourage paying attention to one's body and will push you only as far as you want to be pushed. Everyone else acts like a team. While we're working toward individual goals, we're moving in the same direction and in it together.
I used to be very active, but then I developed Crohn's disease and lost so much muscle that I needed help getting up from chairs and even fell a few times. That was nine years ago, and I had regained much of my strength already when I started coming to FSCF, but I was still fearful of falling.
FSCF is helping me get back to full strength. After six weeks of three workouts per week, I'm now enjoying running hard and jumping over obstacles and not afraid of falling anymore. We recently moved into a new house, and moving furniture and boxes and refinishing the hardwood floors were much easier than the last time we moved. It's much more fun to live in a body that's strong and fit!

I was referred to go do 1 on 1 personal training sessions after not being able to work out for 2 years due to a neck injury. Jordan Core helped me understand why the pain was ongoing and how to manage the pain with mobility techniques. He also has helped me keep strict form in each exercise which also keeps me from being in pain.
My goal when I first started the personal training sessions was to be able to do pull ups again pain free. We started small just getting my body used to these movements again. By the end of 10 personal training sessions with Jordan I was in a significantly less amount of pain than previously and the best part is he had already helped me meet my goal of doing pullups without pain.
Since this time I have now entered the group classes doing full Olympic lifting and metabolic conditioning exercises. All of the staff here is very knowledgeable in proper body movements and mobility. The atmosphere is overall friendly, motivating and encouraging. I would recommend fullsteam crossfit to anyone looking to improve the function of their body the right way.
