Not a good place for children who are scared of water or swimming. We took my son here and had good experiences with two of the instructors (which is why I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1). They were patient and calmed him down when he started to get scared. However, during one lesson he had a different instructor who aggressively splashed him in the face when my son said he wasn’t ready, tried to pawn my son off onto another instructor by saying “I’ll give you $10 to switch with me” to the other instructor IN FRONT OF MY SON, and then dunked my son underwater as he was hyperventilating. Needless to say, this traumatized and embarrassed my son. We requested that my son not have that instructor again, and were assured he would not, only to return and be given the same aggressive instructor. When we went to cancel the lessons we were told the cancellation wouldn’t go into effect until a month out. So we were stuck paying an extra month for nothing. This is their policy apparently. Also, if you request a certain instructor, do not expect to get that instructor. Every time we went, we requested a certain instructor only to be put with a random instructor. Every. Time. I do not recommend this facility.

We’ve had a good experience with Goldfish Swim School so far! The facility is always clean and well-maintained, which gives me peace of mind as a parent. Everyone on staff is super friendly and welcoming, and it really helps create a positive environment.

One of the standout instructors for us has been Zoe my child absolutely adores her! He talks about her all the time, and I genuinely see progress in his swimming skills every time she teaches him. She’s patient, encouraging, and really seems to connect with him in a way that builds both skill and confidence.

There have been a few instructors where it felt like he wasn’t making progress, but that’s something that can vary with any school depending on the teaching style or connection with the child.
Overall I would still recommend them !

Had a trial lesson today with my 13 month old baby boy… I could not be happier… the two women who helped us were kind, patient, and well trained. They made me feel comfortable and in safe hands to teach my baby boy his first introduction into swimming. I wish I caught their names… two young ladies working lane 12 for a 7pm class on May 27th…. Started taking our son here when he turned four months old (he’s currently six months), and it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made for him. We received a trial class on day 1, and what convinced us to join Goldfish was definitely the instructors, warm pool, and length of the class. The instructors are cheerful and what you’d expect from professionals working with babies. Likewise, the temperature of the water is always warm and cozy. Class times for the mini 1 classes are 30 minutes which is long enough for playing and learning safety techniques. Our son sleeps so soundly after every class. Plus, we get to bond with our son as we help him get use to moving and exploring the water. Major thanks to the team at Goldfish Swim School!

Perfect spot for indoor swim party. Very flexible in allowing me to change date of party due to my daughter’s injury. Place was very clean and staff was friendly. Worth the price. Convenient pizza place nearby so you can have food if you like. Intimate setting and holds lots of people. Highly recommended.

It's a good place for children to take swimming lessons. They take them up to the age of 12 and it can be in a group or individually. I've also been to birthday parties. It's open all year round. The only thing I don't like is that the water temperature for bathing the children after class is super hot.

Because Miss Riley is my swim teacher and she’s letting me rent it for my birthday party for me. Thank you Miss Riley you are the best and I give it a five because they help you swim and you will get better each time you go because the first time I was scared and they will ask you on the first day. I had high hopes but his was the worst experience for my daughter. Wasted almost $300 on “private” lessons because my daughter was scared. They looked at me and said “does she not like water?” I replied, “no you are a stranger and that is what she doesn’t like. We have a pool and she loves it.”

We tried getting her in with a class and that still didn’t work. Front desk is awful and refused to give us any sort of refund. Told us, “sorry we don’t give anything back no matter what.” I understand no refunds to an extent but when the child is petrified and you paid for multiple lessons they should have at least given back what was not used. Again, I understand signing something but to have zero leeway is insane. To be told, “sorry you’ll just be out the money” is crazy.

Never going back because the last thing I want is my daughter to be scared of the pool. She thrives at our pool and we just decided to pay for someone to come to us.

Just be cautious that if your child is scared they could care less and don’t give back anything at all. One specific instructor was very patient and great but the front desk is where they lack sympathy and customer service.

EDIT AFTER OWNER REPSONSE:
My daughter did come back for a second lesson and my mother actually got in the pool with her and she was still hysterical. We did give it a chance but at that point I do not want her to be afraid of the water. It was doing much more harm than good. My frustration is after this we still were just told too bad we can give you a credit for another lesson. The lesson was on June 20th.

I have 3 children enrolled, My grandchildren on the 4th appointment each and haven’t learned anything. They will tell you when your trying to unenroll to stay enroll to make up days but all the time their charging you for another month. The supervisor Nicholas and Manger will tell to stay enroll for 30 days to make up days but not working around parent's schedule. General manger knows nothing. I would’ve been better off in the backyard teaching myself.

Awesome and spectrum friendly instructors that take their time with children and make them feel comfortable the whole session. Reasonably priced and a load of convenient class times to fit our needs. If you have a child just starting out and want them to feel confident fast, I recommend their week long jump start clinics. It has proven to be AMAZING. my son has been there a month and is already displaying what he's learned in class. Love it!

I'd stay away from this fraudulent place. There are so many hidden charges. It sometimes makes me feel like calling my bank and closing my credit card. They keep charging me for something even when I am not using their services. The people working at the front desk are sometimes rude and unhelpful. There is also no easy way of managing my account.

We love Goldfish! Our daughter is 3 years old and her instructor, Lauren, has been great at helping her become more comfortable in the water, learning techniques and being social.

The school itself is in a great location, always clean and the staff is friendly. The pool is heated, the amenities include changing rooms, blow dryers, showers, diapers provided for the babies, swim suit dryers, play areas for the kids, a shop in case your child forgets anything and the big glass window makes it easy for us to watch our children without being a distraction/interruption.

It's all the pictures that are advertised. They are very kid friendly and the life guards take their positions seriously. The pool is very much headed so don't dress with a lot on. It's like a beach theme in there and the cool part is the clothes drying station.

This swim school is amazing! The children receive so much individualized attention. my children feel safe and confident here. They have learned so much! Every person who works here is so amazing from the front desk to each instructor. Everyone is kind accommodating and polite. I have seen swim lessons at the YMCA (which I support my local YMCA) but if you want your child to learn to swim quickly in a safe, fun, state of the art environment with tons of individualized attention then this is the school for you. The YMCA has a different curriculum and classes are way larger and your child stays in the same class no matter what their individual progress. Here Your child moves up to various levels at their own pace. when all the skills for a certain level are met they move to the next level class and are awarded a ribbon. you aren’t locked into a specific class for a certain amount of time. If your child has mastered the class they move up. it is individualized and solely based on your child’s current needs. It is fun the younger kids classes include songs and games as they teach swim skills and pool safety. Please please choose this place!!! I LOVE them!!

My daughter had no idea of how to behave in the water before, now she looks so confident and has learned how to stay afloat if she accidentally falls in a pool, she is very happy about her swimming lessons, I can watch her and enjoy her happiness and I absolutely adore the way everyone in the staff treat us, everyone is very nice and sweet, specially the ladies that greet you and my daughter's instructor Riley, what a sweet and lovely woman. I 300% recommend this place.
Edit, they have everything you need for your kids comfort after swimming: showers with shampoo/bodywash, a nice clean set of bathrooms, changing rooms, hair dryers, a dryer for the swimming suits, water fountain... it feels like home there to my child!

We have had such a positive experience at Goldfish. After two years of only summer lessons and seeing regression at the start of each summer we decided on year round lessons. Since mid July (it is now September) I have seen AMAZING progress in my daughters swimming. She was previously hesitant about putting her face in the water and is now starting to swim on her own. Her teacher, Delaney, is fantastic and she looks forward to seeing her each week.

School just opened up, a few weeks late, but they communicated online very well. I got regular updates for the construction delays and radiance they hadn't forgotten about the customers. Day one was a little hectic, but again JUST opened. They are getting into the swing of things.
Clear directions for check in, online access for check in, future absences, makeups, etc. The facility looks great, and the teachers were lovely. I feel like the class itself (mini 2) had a lot happening very quickly, but maybe that's just the way. All in all the places seems great so far.
