We have been going to GCC for Preschool Open Gym on Friday mornings for years and my kids love it. We've also used the summer camps a few times as well and always have glowing reviews from my girls when they come home from all the fun activities.

I canβt say enough how encouraging the coaches are at GCC. They take the time to explain to my daughter exactly what she needs to change to help her become better.

We have been with GCC for about 1.5 years. Everyone has been so friendly and helpful. We did our first summer camp this year and she loved it! It definitely improved her skills! We canβt wait to keep watching her grow with GCC!

We go to the open gym for 0-5 years olds on the weekend. Both this location and Hixson are great. This location has the foam pit and a few more amenities we like and the amount of things your kids can do as they grow is excellent. On a hot day or a day when you aren't wanting to spend a ton of money on family fun, this is the place. Make sure to register beforehand!

Love this gym. It has great equipment and the staff are all really helpful and good at being firm and encouraging the kids. Only disappointment is that it is super hard to get my girls in the desired classes at the desired time. But definitely recommend.

If youβre taller than average keep in mind that they arenβt great at accommodating and it WILL be harder for you. Other than that, not really any complaints

I started bringing my daughters here when Jillβs gymnastics closed(bummer). It was just okay. For the drive it wasnβt worth it. The gym is always cluttered, so many classes going on at once itβs hard to pay attention to just your kid. Also, the check in staff is so scattered and distracted they donβt even welcome you when you arrive. Donβt miss your slot and try to makeup a class, thatβs a nightmare. Plus, maybe itβs a Chattanooga thing (we arenβt from here), but why are classes arranged by age and not skill level?! It feels like just another scheduled play time. We really expected better, but this spot just isnβt worth it.

We had my daughter's birthday party here and it was great! The ladies there helped us set up, clean up, and made things so easy for this scattered mama! They had great suggestions on how to set up and made everything super easy for us. I highly recommend this place for your birthday parties or events!

Our experience was just okay. Went to the Ooltewah location, the main instructors for the preschool class never seemed to have a plan for the kids. They didn't seem to know or care about how to engage this age group in activities. One substitute instructor was very interactive at teaching skills, but the main instructors were very lackluster. They were not consistent on teaching or guiding the kids. We needed to reschedule a class, the office person offered 3 different times that I agreed to, and then each time said oh sorry that isn't available. We finally settled on a make up day, we arrived and the instructor had no idea my daughter would be there that day, didn't even acknowledge or speak to my daughter. We were going to try the Hixson location, but I decided to try another gym altogether, because why should we drive farther for the same gym after the negative experience we'd already had with their instructors. Then they kept sending me a bill for the next set of classes after I had told the office person we weren't happy with my daughter's experience and wouldn't be enrolling again. I had to go back and forth in emails and they still say I owe them for a class we never attended and didn't enroll to attend. Overall I was disappointed they didn't spend time actually teaching any skills, and office staff was very unhelpful.

My granddaughter has been taking classes here for about 6 months. They recently expanded to open a second gym next to the original gym, giving them the ability to add classes. They do a great job of segmenting age group and skill levels, which helps ensure no one is left behind in the group. The beginning competition series is worth checking out if your child has any interest as it teaches and fosters good competitive spirit. The office is super easy to work with and very helpful. They have a nice line of leotards at a reasonable price too.

Parents that choose this company to work with their kids should be very vigilant. We had a bad experience with an unprofessional and bullying trainer at the Cleveland location. Who is also telling kids remember the saying "snitches get stitches"

Our family has fallen in love with GCC! The Ooltewah location is our favorite but we have also been to the Cleveland and Hixson centers and they are just as fun. We have gone to birthday parties, open gyms, summer camp and are enrolled in the classes. I highly recommend GCC!

Our family has been at this gym for over 7 years. I trust each coach with my child without a doubt! I have never had any reason to question the training she is receiving or the integrity of the coaches/owners. The coaches are some of the best coaches you can find not only in Chattanooga but in all of Tennessee. The owners take their time to know each child and show them the same respect they would expect their own children receive. Thank you GCC! You have far exceeded our expectations!

My daughter enrolled in this gym since before she turn 4. The coach here are just not care to help out the kids to improve. My daughter stuck in the class many times not able to move up even though she did have a lot more skills than most of the kids in her class and even saw some older girl who just enrolled in her first class for beginners move up to intermediate with a little skills but my daughter just STUCK there, when I asked for her to joint the team since a few of her friends did all I got is my daughter didnβt have enough skills(her friend is on the same levels as her and they are just as good) I also asked one other coach about how come her friends can join the team since she doesnβt have the skills they require and the coach said he doesnβt understand that too. Enough Time wasting here!!! There are other gyms in town that care about the kids and I just going to tell everybody to go elsewhere!

Fun for the kids open gym but the guy at the front desk is obnoxious. He constantly police's the trampoline and the ropes in a very unfriendly way. Toddlers are not going to get hurt on a floor level trampoline.

Actually, It's not their fault for your kids who decided to sit on the beam and talk and text. i went there and did gymnastics. They have absolutely amazing gymnastics set ups and if your kids would rather sit on their phone, i doubt that they even like gymnastics if you would rather sit on their phone. *REPLYING TO*
Absolutely terrible gym for a birthday party. May be a good gym for a trophy queen.. but as far as I am concerned, it was a waste of $175. All the girls did that were attending the children on the Matt was sit on a balance beam and talk and text message. Disappointed in the overall experience. I had a birthday party at a gymnasium on riverside drive last year and they set up a little course for the kids and help them through the entire thing. Overall I say research other gyms and spend your money elsewhere. I was sick at my stomach just over paying the other half of the balance and considered not even paying it

I took my 3-year-old daughter here for her first "free" class. She was so excited!! So excited that we got there thirty minutes early. We sat in the balcony before her class started and she was awestruck watching the older girls perform. When her class started the coach neither introduced herself to me nor my daughter. She gave no instruction to my daughter whatsoever. I sat in the balcony to watch. I couldn't really hear much of what was going on until the coach yelled at my daughter several times. At the time I thought it was very harsh but my daughter seemed fine so I was prepared to let it go. Then the class walked upstairs to go to the children's room and my daughter looked at me and burst into tears. I knew why she was crying and when I confronted the coach she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about. My daughter left with tears in her eyes saying, "I never want to do gymnastics again." One would think that the coach would be overly nice to the child whose parent had not yet payed for the class. I tried to call the gym the day after the incident. I left three different messages on consecutive days. I didn't want to hold it against the entire institution but I still have not gotten a response from anyone there... a major disappointment!! Better alternatives are TAG or Angela's Angels or Jill's Gymnastics.
