Wonderful place! My daughter is in the preschool class and she looks forward to gymnastics day all week long! She loves all the instructors and has so much fun in class. It’s great they offer open gym in the mornings so you can take the littles to get some energy out. Highly recommend.

Ive had 3 birthday parties at Gymnastics counts and they were all amazing! (I already booked both of my kids parties for this year, so that would make 5 birthday parties total) Plenty of room for my big family, and with kids of all ages, everyone always has a great time! The staff is always very friendly and attentive. 10/10 would recommend. They have gymnastics classes, parents night out, and birthday parties! Whatever the occasion is, gymnastics counts is the way to go!

You pay monthly for classes. If you have something come up/are in a hard season of life, you lose out on your makeup tokens with like 30 days. You paid your hard earned money for those classes, but have a very small window of time to use them for makeup. My kid broke a bone so could not come back for a long time. I lost money because my child couldn't use the makeup tokens from classes missed due to broken bone (classes I paid MY money for). The people at the desk ignore phone calls, I've watched them do it. Very inconsistent. The upper part of the play equipment is so dusty it's concerning, not been cleaned in a year. Candy is given as a reward at the end of class. If a kid doesn't listen to teen instructors, they're restricted with candy. I don't want my kid rewarded with candy, especially the toxic candy they use. Seating is extremely cramped and messy. They added the upstairs but the chairs still suck. Coaches don't come talk to parents or make themselves known. I had signed up a long time ago and still have no clue who the owner is, or who to speak to if I have a need. Community here is NOT friendly. People only talk to others if they know them, not welcoming to newcomers. The programs themselves are good, there's lots of potential. I think this place operates on loyal clients who've come here for years and just accept the sub-par overall experience and customer service, so nothing ever improves and no one is held accountable. I give 2 stars for the quality programs.

My daughter has been working with Erica for a couple of months now and she and I have seen great improvement on her aerial training. We have had several years of good experiences with Gymnastics Counts and have enjoyed the time our daughter has spent there. Unfortunately, I recently found out that they are a part of the Public Square community, which is an anti-woke, "traditional family values", extreme right-wing community. I am disappointed that Gymnastics Counts has taken this political stance and we will be moving our daughter to a gym with a more accepting outlook on the people in Blount County who may come from different walks of life.

From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed and cared for. The entire Counts family is amazing—they’ve built something truly special here. You can tell how much heart they’ve poured into this gym, and it shows in everything they do.

My daughter has absolutely loved her time at Gymnastics Counts, especially her experience with Coach Olivia. She made her first gymnastics season so much fun and such a confidence-building experience. Olivia is patient, encouraging, and brings out the best in her students—we’re so thankful for her!

The classes are incredibly well-organized, and it’s impressive to watch how smoothly everything runs, even with so much happening on the gym floor. The coaches manage the space with such calm and enthusiasm, creating a focused and positive environment for every child.

Our family is so blessed to have Gym Counts available to our child. She started classes here at the age of 5. In her one year she has grown in physical strength, confidence in herself and discipline....not to mention all the fun she's having. Friday night parents night out are the best deal in town to have another responsible adult watch your child while you take a break or go get some things done. Three hours for $20 is a value in my book (2024 - 2025). I'm sure if you give Gym Counts a try you and your child will love it too!

I started at gymnastics counts when it first started 30 years ago. When my husband retired from 20 years in the military, I couldn't wait to move back home and enroll my kids in Gymnastics counts. Its generations of people and coaches that make you feel like you're coming home when you walk in their doors. Its not just a gym, its a family. Their knowledge and coaching skills have allowed both of my kids to grow in their skills and and conquer their fears. They find an incredible balance of doing hard or new things in the most fun way possible. In only a few months, my daughter went from not knowing how to do a cartwheel, to doing round off back handsprings. 🙃 Sign your kids up ASAP.

Parent’s Night Out and Camps:

Our 4 children love participating in their summer camps and parents night out. All 4 of my kids walk into Gym Counts with a sense of belonging. The staff know them each by name and are always so welcoming to them. They never want to leave when I come to pick them up and always ask if they can stay longer. I know when I drop them off that I never have to worry about them and that they are in great hands.

Gymnastics Team:

Our younger daughter is on team at Gym Counts and practices 3 times a week. Since joining the team she has grown so much, both physically and emotionally. She went from being very timid and self conscious to truly becoming so much more confident and outgoing in all areas of her life. She loves going to practice and feels right at home with her teammates, coaches and other staff members. They are like a family and I love to see that not only is it her coaches that encourage her, but her teammates do too.

My daughter has been attending for about 7 months. She started in the weekly preschool classes and as we noticed her enthusiasm and her teachers' compliments over her upper body strength we decided to enroll her in Homegrown 1. She's flourishing in this environment. The gym is clean, the staff, well-trained and as friendly and enthusiastic as the students. It's summer and we're getting ready for summer camp, and I am so grateful for my child to have such a safe and loving environment to spend her time in.
