Bought a weekly pass since im in town for a short stint and didnt want to miss a workout. Everyone was nice and had me in the system quickly. Plenty of equipment with a nice selection of machines i dont normally see at non large corporate gyms (la fitness etc). Seems clean but used. I like it and if i lived here would definitely be a member.

Old school vibes for the gym rats of the 80’s, coupled with unbelievably clean facilities, and every piece of equipment you can imagine. While signing up the owner introduced himself and shook my hand, thanking me for signing up. It’s the little things. I’m picky- grew up in Gold’s Gyms of California many years ago- this place brings me back …. Schwarzenegger would approve ✌🏽

The staff could use soft skills improvement. I don’t understand why you cannot cancel the membership when they make plenty of money. There’s multiple locations.. but ok. Workout Anytime is a great gym. From the reviews I’ve read about the owners of Harvey’s… YIKES!

Sadly I have to edit my review. I canceled my membership almost 9 months ago and just got a collections notification, from an actual collections company. It’s easier to pay it then to dispute it, but there’s no contract, no log of my initial cancellation and no record of the last time I was there. So they got paid for months for literally nothing. I hope it’s actually cancelled this time. Maybe they’ll use that free few hundred bucks to fix the busted equipment. I remember when I was going the AC was out. Lesson learned.

Probably one of the worst, drama filled gyms I have belonged to; including the owners and employees. They are bias and presumptuous. They have their select few they like, and if you’re not in that category they couldn’t care less about you or if you have a problem with their establishment. You are just one they will make fun of and talk about. This is how it was for me and some others. After speaking with the owner, regarding their employee’s behavior towards me, she was very unprofessional and put all the blame on me. She wouldn’t listen and obviously had already talked to her employee so they could come up with a “story” to stick to and be on the same side.

In my personal experience and opinion, as everyone’s experiences and opinions may vary, I enjoyed my time at Harvey’s until I began experiencing personal harassment. One particular employee consistently judged me and commented on my facial expressions. In January, she even called me an “asshole” while speaking to me, despite her denial of making such a remark.

My intention when I visited the gym was to feel more comfortable with myself, not to be subjected to judgment based on my appearance. For instance, some individuals may experience discomfort daily and push through despite it. One of the main reasons I went there was for health issues and the use of the sauna to help alleviate them. The purpose of a gym is to foster a sense of welcome and build confidence, not to create an environment where members feel judged. Unfortunately, I was subjected to judgment and self-consciousness during my visits, which made me feel unwelcome.

The staff’s behavior was selective, and they did not make every member feel valued or welcomed. They would fabricate false accusations against members, including myself. After speaking with the owner, who treated me disrespectfully, I was advised to cease my membership at Harvey’s. Despite the owner’s attempts to dismiss my concerns, blame me - when I was a paying member - I chose to patronize a gym where I am treated with dignity and respect. My financial resources are not limited, but I prioritize spending them at establishments that prioritize treating their members as human beings.

However, if you are seeking a gym that thrives on drama and mistreatment, then this is the gym for you.

I went to this gym for 4 years. Equipment is old. I stayed cause of the people i met, but I'm leaving cause of the owner. Something is always broken and it takes a while before it gets fixed. Wires are coming out of the cable machines so be careful. I got stabbed in the thumb just trying to set up. This is a small family owned gym so it's not very professional. The owner will say what he wants to you when he wants. Customer service could use work but they are a lot of friendly and great ppl that workout there.

Clean, innovative, always open always expanding and offer new workout options. Friendly and affordable and full disclosure. 24 hour gym with access via finger print and personal code. Free classes inside, all the machines you can imagine, etc.

I love Olympic lifting so I was stoked to find lifting platforms, squat racks, and rogue plates. I also do cross training and was pleased to find sleds, ropes, tires, and punching bags.

The only things they need are rowers in “The Jungle” area and assault bikes for cross training.

Harvey's Gym is a great place to get your workout in. The staff keep the place clean. The dressing rooms have spacious and there are plenty of lockers along with showers and even a sauna. The gym is laid out nicely and there is plenty of equipment. Even on international chest day you can still find equipment to get your chest workout in. Gym memberships and day passes are reasonably priced and they can make you a protein shake after your workout is done. This is a great gym that is run by great people.

By far the best gym I have ever been a member of. Andy and Josh are always available to answer questions, give advice or coaching instructions during normal work hours.
They maintain the equipment to keep it in excellent condition. They also have a host of free weights and benches, as well as, the latest in technology fitness machines, treadmills, and Nordic track type of cardio vascular equipment. Best equipped gym I've used, which at my age is considerable.

Look I like the equipment and the gym is kept up well I would give that a 5 star alone. But this gym is very buddy buddy and you're treated better depending on who you know and who you are friends with. The "trainers" here are an absolute joke and I would be ashamed to have them representing my gym. A couple of them need trainers themselves while the others seem decent. One trainer specifically Mr. "strongbody_strongmind" posts videos of other people working out on his "trainer" page and also uses his girlfriend to build up their social media account by posting videos of her scantily clad doing workouts. While this establishment claims to be Christ based/focused I do not understand how they can allow one of their "trainers" a representative of their brand and their gym to do this. I will not come back to this gym and I will urge my friends and family to do the same.
