It is a great place for kids.
Yearly mental and intellectual development is done the best way through motion and artistic activity.
This place combine both of them.

If you want a place where your kid comes home beaming, stronger, and somehow more confident after 45 minutes of tumbling and giggles??? Hopscotch Gymnastics is it!!! Their 4-year-old class is next-level and what’s even more Coach P is the reason why!!! She’s warm, patient, and clearly loves what she does. Moreover, she actually sees each child; She quickly nails their strengths and the tiny things they need work on all the while she then turns that insight into fun confidence building coaching. No one size fits all cookie cutter here … she customizes encourages, and celebrates every milestone, big or small.

The whole program feels like a community, not a business. The staff are friendly, organized, and genuinely invested in the kids. Pricing is refreshingly reasonable and they even offer a free trial!!!! Oh yes… you can try before you commit, which is a total win. For value quality of instruction and an atmosphere that makes kids (and parents) feel great, Hopscotch checks every box.

Huge thanks to Coach P! you’ve got a lifelong fan in our family. If you’re shopping for a kids gym that mixes skill, kindness, and real teaching, stop scrolling because Hopscotch Gymnastics is the place. Hopscotch all the way! 🏅👏

Hopscotch is truly the best in town! We’ve done the Preschool program, gymnastics class and Homeschool Enrichment and my daughter loved it all. The teachers and coaches are all great and Ms. Jennifer is simply amazing!

I've been doing the Mommy and Me class with my granddaughter since she was 18 months. She'll be 3 soon and she's certainly ready to move up to the independent class. Her growth has been impressive and the coaches are very attentive to the students.

Great pre-school. I like that it's not all day which is great for a child transitioning into a classroom environment. The teachers were all so sweet and so patient. My daughter also does gymnastics there and the coaches are great. Love this place!

Hopscotch Gymnastics’ preschool program has been absolutely amazing for my daughter over the past three years! The staff is nothing short of spectacular—patient, caring, and truly invested in each child’s growth and development. The environment is both fun and structured, helping my daughter build confidence, coordination, and social skills while keeping her engaged and active. I can’t say enough great things about this program—it has been a wonderful foundation for her, and we are so grateful for the incredible team at Hopscotch. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a top-notch preschool experience!

My kids have been attending Hopscotch gymnastics, summer camp and Friday Night hang outs off and on since they opened! We love this Hopscotch community and are happy to be a part of it. My favorite part about Hopscotch is that it’s a space that allows for kids to be kids and learn recreational gymnastics. No pressure. Just skill building and fun. The summer camps are engaging and offer many different activities.

We have been coming to Hopscotch since they opened for the mommy and me class, more advanced gymnastics, and eventually preschool. My son has thrived in every single class, and the staff is extremely attentive and caring.
Small class sizes, and the small population of the school makes it the perfect place for shyer kids to come out of their shell like my son did!
I always feel in the loop with his teacher, and the teachers seems incredibly supported by each other and their amazing director with everyone helping out when needed.
I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a school that truly feels like a family!

I've had two kids go through the preschool program and can't say enough good things! When my daughter went to Kindergarten, she had a seamless transition - her preschool curriculum prepared her well! My son loves being able to be in the gym everyday at HKP too. As a working mom, I love the extra programs they offer and the wide variety of summer camps. Plus the Parents Night Out is great too - its not a large overwhelming group: my kids have fun, wear themselves out and come home so excited!

Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience when I enrolled my daughter at Hopscotch for preschool. My daughter cried and/or clung to me every day either the night before, on the way to school or at drop off (until her very last day). I was assured it was "just normal" by the teachers, and that she’d eventually adjust. As time went on, things were not improving. (1 whole year)
I picked up my daughter early from school one day and she was eating lunch on the floor alone, My daughter said she was in trouble for kicking in her chair. When I asked the teacher about it, I was told that my daughter just wanted to sit in the floor because that is where the teacher ate. That is and was untrue.

I then trusted my gut feeling and placed a phone in her backpack so that I could occasionally listen in and hear what was going on inside her classroom. I often overheard the teacher talking negatively about my daughter and other students to the assistant teacher, being annoyed, getting louder and louder as she trieds to explain the seat work, saying "uggggg I just told her the answer". All of the students didn't get the sheet work right away. When the kids are crying, the teacher (Shayna) would yell, "Oh my god,” in frustration. My daughter was belittled, She would tell my daughter to "put her work in her backpack so mommy could see that she wasn't following directions". When I would go over her work each week with my daughter from her folder, she would be sad and say things like "I didn't do it right". My daughter would tell me "ms Shayna doesn't like me".

I should have listened to my gut and taken her out but I needed her to be in childcare for work. I was happy that a new year was starting and she would have a different teacher, Hannah, which was the assistant her prior year.

Two months later, I picked her up from school and on the way home she just said, “Ms. Hannah squeezed my arm" my heart dropped. I immediately said "show me how" and she put her little fingers on my arm and was shaking she was trying to squeeze so hard. I Immediately messaged the owner. She called me and said "I don't believe that happened, there is no way that happened. Let me talk to Hannah and we can set up a meeting"

During the meeting, Hannah admitted to putting hands on my daughter, but she said she didn't squeeze. Her words were that she "redirected with both of her hands". I made sure she knew that to my three-year-old it felt like a squeeze. If Hannah had been employed by CMCSS (Hopscotch policies are modeled after their policies) she would've been fired on the spot. Their practices and what is accepted as redirection does not align with the public school system.(or myself the parent). There is no reason in this world a teacher should have to put hands on a student in any way. It displays a lack of respect for my daughter's body and a total disregard for her boundaries.
The "redirection"was during a restroom break, my daughter picked up another child's clothes off of the floor "to hand them to her" (my daughters words) the teacher said she was "running back-and-forth to the boys and girls restroom and didn't see, but it looked like she was taking them" (teachers words). Ms. Hannah admitted that my daughter was upset by being grabbed but then “was fine later”.

The owner was dismissive of my concerns and chose to back the teacher up instead of reprimanding her. She told me that the phone I had previously placed in her backpack was not allowed, and that "if I didn’t trust their practices and policies” my daughter didn’t belong there. I started making arrangements to leave at that point.

My daughter’s doctor suggested therapy and the therapist has said that her first school experience has impacted her love for learning, but that with play therapy she may learn to trust her teachers and return to a school setting. Hopscotch is secretive about what happens behind closed doors, and they try to justify their teachers putting their hands on the students.

We have had such a wonderful experience with Hopscotch Gymnastics. My son turned 3 in July and he is currently enrolled in the Jumpstart program. The owner, Jennifer, is very involved and so kind and compassionate. She has answered all my questions over the phone and in person anytime I have had any. They have gone above and beyond to make my son feel comfortable and reassure me as well at drop offs. (He had been home with me his entire life so this was a big transition for both of us). I also want to mention Miss Brenda, one of his teachers who has also been so helpful with everything. My son looks forward to his Hopscotch classes now and I just cannot say enough wonderful things about this place.

We don't do gymnastics here but both of our kids go here for preschool and it is AMAZING! They are so energetic and kind and it is literally an excellent experience for both our kids and us.

By far the best customer service in all of Clarksville and my kids will be going here until they age out.

Excellence deserves to be recognized and I am happy to leave a review for such an amazing preschool.
