I have just started at Hotworx, but was welcomed with open arms and overwhelming kindness and support. I can’t believe I hadn’t found this place sooner!! I am so thankful to be able to be here and earn the burn. Everything is so clean, well kept, and well stocked. The shower is beautifully clean and has everything you need minus the towel. I love this place. It was great to be welcomed at the door and have soo many encouraging women around. I met a few cool ladies at my session today. Not only is it overpriced, they intentionally don’t tell you things when going over the contract with you so they can get MORE money out of you. Don’t let them read over it to you, READ IT YOURSELF. It seems so nice in the beginning because you are sweating but in reality no difference is made and you would be better off weight training in a gym. I reached out for someone to call me over two weeks ago and NO ONE has been in touch. Untrustworthy business that only cares about your money. Steer clear, unless you want to pay a ridiculously high starting fee and being locked into it for a long period of time because they lie to you by omitting when going over the contract.

The reason they have five star reviews is because they offer a free towel.

Open 24/7 so I can go whenever I want. The infrared heat is good for my skin and loosens tight muscles and joints. The “go at your own pace” for me is sometimes just laying in the heat stretching and sweating. My kind of workout.

I loveeeeee HotWorx! The inferred saunas make me feel amazing, and the workouts are so approachable. Every staff member I have met has been beyond friendly, and I haven’t felt out of place like I have at some gyms. Never before have I actually looked forward to waking up for my morning workout or found myself having fun while burning calories. To top it off, the studio is open 24/7, and they offer a convenient app where you can schedule workouts. Unfortunately, I went with four stars because it’s very, very expensive. I was planning to only do HITT, so having to buy a mat and towel just seemed like another way to get some extra $$$ from me. Even with all the deals I was given, I struggle to justify the cost. However, I’m planning to be a member for a long time, and if it does everything it’s promising (which is probably impossible), I’d be willing to pay anything!

However the website is misleading, as there are no actual yoga classes or instructors. It's all pre-recorded videos that play on a wall mounted TV.

There is no Sauna classroom, it's small individual rooms that fit 1-3 people max. To my understanding, all locations have the same setup.
No community.

I drive 40 minutes one way just to go to Hotworx because of the positive results I have seen in my own life. McKenzie is wonderful, encouraging, and is great with clients. From the first time hearing about HOTWORX to the time I went in for my tour, the staff has been amazingly helpful! This is the best gym in Knoxville. The staff is PHENOMENAL!! While staffed they make you feel very welcomed and they are always cleaning. Even during unstaffed hours the gym is clean. I was so excited to see a Hotworx opening up in fountain city. I had taken yoga classes with the infrared heat in the past and loved them. The variety of classes are an added bonus as well as the ability to schedule classes via the app at times that fit into my schedule. You can choose from 11 different classes as well as a workout area. I feel amazing and energized after each workout session. I highly recommend joining. I love the virtual lead instruction that guides me through a workout- without being crammed in class of 15 people. The smaller sauna classes (3 total people max!) allow me to get a GREAT workout in a short time. Did I mention you can book the classes at your own schedule 24/7?!
