Everyone has been punctual, organized, and my workouts are 100% tailored to help me achieve my goals. I am a professional athlete who came to Innate Performance in pretty banged up shape. I had a bad hamstring strain that I needed to recover from. I gave Curtis Rigg, one of the performances coaches, a very short window to get me back healthy and playing the sport I love. Although the time frame for a hamstring strain recovery is usually pretty lengthy, Curtis had me back up and sprinting in less than a month. I have trained at plenty of facilities across the U.S, and I’m not exaggerating when I say this is some of the best work and work out regimes that I have been through. One on one work, specifically tailored to whatever the customer/ athlete needs or is trying to achieve. Hard work doesn’t come easy, but if you are looking to physically grow as an athlete, or just looking for a place to stay in shape with a great atmosphere, Innate Performance is your place! I was just looking for somewhere to get me healthy and I ended up finding a home! Thank you Curtis and the whole performance team!

Curtis is the best! I have been working out with him for almost a year and since I started, knee issues that I had when I started have mostly gone away. He creates workout programs that are fun and challenging, and he is always super positive and encouraging. I've been working out with Curtis at Innate since late September 2022, and I am so glad my husband found him. I was with a different gym in town, and I joined a session with my husband and that was all she wrote.
Curtis has challenged me in ways I have NEVER challenged myself, and he keeps it interesting rotating the workout programs he's running me through. I've gained strength, muscle tone, and confidence because of Curtis. He is truly an incredible human being who wants to make everyone around him better, and he takes the time to study his craft to ensure his clients are getting the best. I had been trying to find a trainer for weeks with no luck. Everyone was full and not taking new clients. I should have started working with Steven a long time ago - its been one of the best decisions I've made. I was piecing together my own workouts for years and not seeing the progress I wanted. Since working with Steven I'm the strongest I've ever been - funny what happens when you work with a true professional whose trained some of the best athletes in the world.
Steven is incredibly knowledgeable and customizes the workout plan to specific areas I needed improvement on - I had been dealing with a shoulder issue and he's helped eliminate the pain through corrective activities.
A lot of trainers can be overbearing and talk over your head - Steven meets you at your level and always helps you understand the "why" behind each exercise.

He’s never missed an appointment unexpectedly, he’s great with communication and responses, and he’s flexible and accommodating.
Besides all that, and more importantly, Curtis is an excellent trainer. He works with you to establish your fitness goals and then helps develop a customized plan to help you meet those goals. He creates a personalized workout plan that is tailored to your individual fitness level and challenges you to push your limits and make progress. I trained under Curtis Rigg when his business was based in Pennsylvania. What drew me to his services was his desire to educate throughout the process of training. Instead of passively following a routine, he made sure that I understood each movement, why I was doing that movement, and how we were going to improve in the future. Eventually, I was able to train independently without his services.

In Feb of 2019, i was cleared to go back to all contact sports after having a reconstructive ACL surgery and meniscus repair but i was not satisfied/confident with the Physical Therapy I received and it led me to find someone who understood my expectations, goals, etc to help me get back into the lacrosse field again. That’s when I found Curtis Rigg, in a matter of weeks he helped me find my strength in my left leg and more importantly he helped me gain my confidence back. While we started out with more of a rehab program, we quickly grew to focus on more than just my left leg. The knowledge Curtis has and continues to share with his clients is greatly appreciated!
