This is the worst gym I’ve ever had experience with. I’ve pulled up to this gym countless times while it’s open and the doors are locked and people are sitting there working out inside. I went inside the gym to update my billing information and they said it was fine and it’s been paid for…. Then a few days later they’re calling me asking me again. I had to hang up the phone call because they put me on hold and I was dealing with a customer and they blocked my phone number. Extremely unprofessional and childish, this is comming from a 19 year old………
And I’ve looked at the reviews about the creeps in this gym, and I can confirm they’re always talking to some women most of the time look way too young
The gym is only clean because they take advantage of some nice older guy. Every time I go in there he’s on his knees, scrubbing town something!! Horrible management!!! Place need to be shut down until you can find all new staff.

As a long-standing member, I’ve always appreciated the atmosphere and community at this gym. However, I’m increasingly concerned about the direction things are heading under management changes.

Over time, I’ve noticed a steady reduction in key features: shortened weekday and weekend hours, fewer classes on the schedule, and most recently, being asked to leave before the posted closing time. Tonight, for example, I was asked to leave 10 minutes early — and doors are locked at minimum 30 minutes before closing. If your hours are truly shortened, then just communicate that - but don’t pretend to be open while in reality restricting access. These kinds of changes are frustrating, especially when paired with ongoing price increases.

I fully understand the need to make operational adjustments, but these particular changes seem to directly impact the member experience in negative ways. What once made this gym so appealing is now being chipped away, and it’s disheartening to see.

Please consider how these decisions are affecting your loyal members. I’m sharing this feedback because I genuinely want to see the gym thrive — but that requires keeping the needs of your core community in mind.

Saturday hours are until 6pm. Why did they close at 5:30pm? Absolutely rude staff at this Cordova location , they don’t care that I was at the door trying to get in. And they wouldn’t open. I have been a member for past 8-9 years. I certainly don’t deserve to be treated this way.

I joined La Fitness last April. I started with a personal trainer, Carlos, in December. I find that I love going to the gym and enjoy my workouts with Carlos. Everyone at La Fitness is very friendly and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend La Fitness and their personal training program.

This is by far and away the cleanest LA fitness I've ever been to. I use the pool a lot and at other facilities, which I won't name, but is directly across the street from Oak Court mall, it's usually kind of gross with loose hair and wet dust bunnies everywhere. And don't get me started on the Ridgeway location. I walked in and walked out. Anyway, this location in Cordova/Germantown is very well maintained. Thank you. Maybe you should do a workshop for the other facilities on HOW TO CLEAN. BECAUSE EWW.

Just joined Esporta about 3 weeks ago. I was reluctant because of the price, but I can honestly say that it has been worth it. The staff is extremely friendly. The way they treat you doesn't change after enrollment is complete. The trainers are great as well. They are willing to give advice and help you toward your goals. Gabe has been SOOOOOO awesome! It's a little over a year after my surgery (forced not voluntary) and I have struggled with my lower abdominal area since. I can finally see a difference since working with him. Thank you so very much!

I went and stood at their front desk for 15 minutes and nobody was there and the people in the desk behind it, made eye contact with me multiple times and they were not helping anyone. And after standing there for about 15 minutes someone else comes in and stood behind me and one of the guys at the desk gets up and approaches them and helps them and leaves me standing there when I have been standing their way longer than they have I was still there in an additional five minutes after that no one came to help. The worst service. Operations manager Brenda is not polite, arrogant and not helpful. Cancelling membership even due health issues is a pain, you MUST come in person even if you moved far away. Had to pay a fee of $25 despite the fact of loosing an annual fee of $50 too. Terrible communication. Equipment is older and they don’t update with new needed items. Headache to bring in a guest that you pay for every month and they have to check in every single time etc.

Cleaning stepped up a notch 2023. Crew mops under machines & cleaning crew seems to be around a lot which I like. But there is a blonde pit-bull who works at 5am who is rude while harassing people for sign-ins while she works out on a machine. If I see her at the front desk -I leave. I canceled one of two memberships because of her.

I was double charged, I was told my membership would be an upgrade to have my wife added, turns out they don’t do upgrades and took two annual fees. Spoke with the sales manager Justin B. And received nothing but attitude when I asked for a refund he told me he’d look into it and call me back. Never got a call back and when I followed up the next day he then proceeded to try and fight me mentioning my weight and told me he was going to get his money!

I’ve reported this to corporate! I would not advise going to this gym! Rude and ignorant management/staff.

Management wants to fight customers when a problem is presented not worth the time or money to invest at this gym.

Place your membership somewhere else. This week, while all other businesses and fitness center are open, Esporta is closed from Jan 14 to 21 because of the weather. This is just a testament of how they are poorly managed and not committed to costumers satisfaction, of course there are other usual stuff e.g. poor WIFI, poorly maintain equipment's and the number one reason I am leaving- arbitrarily changing hours due to a whole lots of poor reasons.

Justin at the Cordova location is good, knowledgeable and informed GM. The overall GM is a serious minded person, she is sharpe, knows her stuff.
I found, in both gyms, equipment I didn't know I needed. When the gym is occupied by many members there is still plenty of equipment to use. Men and women who workout there are serious about doing it.
Respect them all.
An amazing aspect of both gyms is the pressurized air flow in the workout areas, able to inhale higher volume of oxygen.
Amazing how that works amazing how that helps.
Been a member three years now and I am loyal.

This location is beautiful, but it’s horribly mismanaged. This is a DO NOT FLY ZONE for women especially M-F! There’s 3 goofy loud guys who just play in there and harass women. Not just myself, but about 4 of my other female friends as well. They are tight with the staff and corporate doesn’t seem to care. Even worse, their female manager told my autistic friend to go to another gym! This gym is run by lazy bros who don’t do anything. It’s a shame that their corporate office doesn’t do anything too. I signed up for the training program with Todd Chapman, the vice president, and I told him ahead of time that I have a condition and didn’t know if I would be able to complete the program or not and he said that was not a problem. I even tried to tell him that I was struggling with my seizures and tried to stop it before and they talked me into continuing. My condition has worsened and I even have a doctors note saying I cannot continue but he refused my doctors note and they are continuing to charge me. Todd Chapman and your program are despicable. I will get this taken care of but buyer beware. They are typical money hungry thieves.

I am very disappointed with lack of respect you get at this fitness club. I know the swimming pool is open to all, but main use is for exercise. This is the third time I was using the pool to swim laps and a group of teens who are trying to impress each other kept coming into my lane even though the whole pool was empty. When I confronted them about, that were "like chill out we 'aint' hurting anyone". A fellow went and complained to front desk and when the person came in to check, asked the teens if they were ok and needed anything and completely blew me off. There are rules on the side of pool about this behavior, but no one cares or reads them. When I finished my laps, I went to complain but no one cared so I immediately cancel my membership.

I’ve been attending the location in Lakeland and have had the worst experience. When they changed from La fitness to Esporta i was never informed of the change, my gym has been closed for months and i wasn’t informed but have been charged every month still but says it’s being charged from LA Fitness and not Esporta. I enjoyed the Gym but moved out of state where there is no Esporta. They have made it virtually impossible to cancel my membership. A form must be printed out and mailed in but you can’t find the form on the website. I’ve asked for the form to be emailed and no email. Making it purposely difficult to cancel a membership is unethical and fraudulent.

Showers, pool, lots of equipment. It can get a bit busy around 5:00, but I haven't had a hard time with getting dumbbells and a bench or using a machine. There are also lots of disinfectant bottles available and it seems like people are using them, so that's good 👍 ha

Theres gotta be some rules here man especially since its so full after 5pm, there was some dudes tossing a football across the greenfield taking up everyone's space then tossing stuff at each other and flying into everyone's way come on. Also to many people hanging out and conversating blocking access to machines and equipent like go talk somewhere where you aint gonna be in the way. Also kids under 14 should be accompanied by an adult not playing around. Also cleaning bottles and paper towels to be distributed around the gym where everyone can clean after they're done because you needa walk all the way to the backwall if u want to get paper towels but the spray bottles are up at the front. Theres definitely a bad vibe when its so full here

Apparently this location has been targeted by car thieves and staff isn't really doing much about it. The guy at the front desk even thought it comical that 5 cars were burglarized with-in a four day span; many parked directly in front of the doors.

My vehicle was broken into last night and despite parking in what was a well lit, open spot it wasn't enough to deter thieves.

Just a few things to know: (1) the security cameras are low grade, low resolution and mounted way too high to make out any real detail. (2) There is no patrol agreement so any patrolling done is at officer discretion. (3) It may have just been this one young man but he seemed almost giddy about the situation. (4) Should you have the unfortunate luck of being victimized at this or any other Esporta location, the Manager's shift ends at 6p so any captured footage of vandalism occuring after hours cannot be shared until the following day -giving the perps extra time commit more crime or at very least make off.

I’ve never had such an awful experience trying to check in at a gym. Something that is normally quick and easy. To make things worse it was an “Operations Manager” named “El”. The way you treated me was deplorable on every level. It’s almost laughable that somebody in management lacks even basic levels of professionalism and customer service skills.
