The lady with the red braids and the I think the guy that’s a janitor always locks the doors early. Me and 2 other guys was outside at 5:26 p.m. and the doors were locked. The lady just looked at us and the guy walked to the door to see who we were and walked off. Last week I came about 4:45p.m and the door was locked. This place is going downhill. Should have stuck with crunch.

This place is always nasty. They always have weights and equipment all over the gym and nothing is put back. There are no mats in the stretch studio amd the 2 they have are literally tearing into pieces. They yell and scream the last 30 mins every 10 mins at the end of the night about the gym closing, like people don't know it closes at 10 and then yesterday a group of people were turned away 45 mins before closing. This review is from someone that was a member on day one when this gym opened and left after two years. I rejoined earlier this year as some equipment in my home gym broke. I have spent a lot of time in this gym and a few other LA Fitness locations in the area. This review is from someone who usually is at the gym on the weekdays between 9am and 4pm and on the weekends between 9am and 1pm.

The gym has plenty of machines and space. I never experience the crowding issues that you get at other smaller, local gyms or at PF. It doesn't have some of the other features of the other locations due to its smaller size but if your gym experience is weights, cardio, and swimming- they have all that here.

This gym is very clean and they do an excellent job maintaining it. There is one employee in particular (I do not know his name but he has long hair) who is always cleaning and keeps this place looking great. You get a level of cleanliness here that isn't present at other LA Fitness locations.

Overall, I am pleased with this gym. If it were closer to me, it would be my home gym but I like that with my membership, I can go here and other LA Fitness locations.

I’ve been a member once 2016 but recently actively started back attending this gym. I haven’t had any issues with staff and O can always use the equipment that I need. The gym is always clean and the staff is friendly no matter if I go morning or evening. I only wish there was an arc trainer as part of the equipment.

Today I went to my home gym and I have a membership where I can go to any gym and when I tell you ridgeway was spotless and smelled good . I had to let them no good job I promise I don’t mind paying that 40 a month for this type of service … fyi the front desk has always been amazing it part of the reason I’ve been a member since they were 24 fitness. Most of the gym and staff are great. It’s a great place to workout. That being said, I want to meet the guy who designed the bathroom stalls in a dark alleyway. There’s big gaps in the doors so anyone walking past is gonna get full view of your business, and the stalls are the size of a small kitchen cabinet. Otherwise great gym.

It's all good until you want to cancel. It's easy to cancel, all you have to do is show up in person and talk to the operations manager. Once you show up, the operations manager isn't there. Come back later. Or, you can get an email with a link to print and mail in a form like it's 1980. Once you get the email, if you signed up years ago, your esporta login doesn't work because it's LA fitness (again). Call the gym and get your bar code. Put the bar code in and then it tells you that you already have an account, so back to the sign in, which doesn't work. Round and round we go. The solution? Come back some other time and talk to the operations manager, if you can catch them when they are in. Even Elon Musk lets you cancel with one click. Waste of time.

This location has weights upstairs. The gym has two big fans to help circulate air but many times the staff turns them off because it makes it cool for them downstairs. When its been 100+ outside the fans were still not running. They are supposed to turn the fans on when members request but yesterday a snooty employee had them turned off and when I complained she said point blank it was too cold for the people downstairs and I could go to another location if I didn't like that. When I said the paying members should get priority she responded with its Sunday you should be in church anyway. She thought she could get away with it because there are usually not managers on duty on Sundays but a manager happened to be there and turned them back on but still that is a blantant show of poor customer service and telling a customer you don't matter.

Really nice gym. Very clean and excellent machines and full equipped, nice staff and so so convenient. My ONLY complaint and the reason why I gave 3 stars, is that they don’t have a single hip thrust machine. Not a single one. They got like 20 treadmill machines that no one uses in 100% and so many repetitive machines that will target the same exercise (I never see nobody using those) but not even one single hip thrust machine, a machine indeed ; not the random thing they ask you to build yourself with weights and a yoga mat. I hurt my fingers and my back doing hip thrust that way. So uncomfortable and takes too much time to set up the “home made hip thrust “ thing. They should consider getting at least one , the competition has their own and the only reason I came here is because of that , I honest thought they would have it since it is a modern and complete gym. Disappointed a little bit, I hope they get that advice.

Their AC doesn’t work very well, they don’t give out towels anymore (a basic gym amenity..), and the parking lot always has glass in it in different spots (lots of break ins). You’d think with all the break ins, they’d have security out there or something. Bathroom sinks are always dirty (women’s).

I’ve been here since they were LA Fitness and overall, it feels like the place has gone downhill ever since they changed to “Esporta”.

March 2023 Update: my husband just got back from the gym and told me the men’s restrooms were filthy (like literal $hit on the toilet seat) and no toilet paper in ANY of the stalls and only one sink had soap. hand sanitizers are always empty too. They obviously have no janitorial staff or take any pride in their facility whatsoever. My husband also wanted to use the grassy area for 5 minutes to use the foam rollers and was told by a worker he couldn’t use the grassy area because it would take “15 minutes” to vacuum the whole area. First of all I highly doubt that, and second of all can you not just vacuum around him??

I cancelled my membership yesterday because the refuse to let my children (15 and 16 ) work out because they said they had to be 18 and older to get in? I said the policy stated 13, guy said no they changed to 18 I said i been gone for a week when did this happened. They apparently have a new manager and she does not like kids working out, we moved to crunch and we saw at least 6 people from this gym there now for the same reason. I just signed up at this gym and the man helping me and my dad out was super friendly. They helped us find the plan that would be the most cost efficient for us and he was quite funny. The gym itself has a lap pool that is almost always available. There are personal trainer rooms stretching rooms and of course the main part of the gym. The main part of the gym is split in two parts, about a third of it is elliptical machines and the other two thirds are workout machines and free weights. They have three standard bench presses, one incline bench press, one decline bench press, two squat racks/deadlift spots, one weight stack cable row machine, three lat pull down machines, tons of different abdominal/torso machines, an adjustable EZ curl bar and a rack of set weight EZ curl bars, a full rack of free weights with six benches in front of the rack, one smith machine, three pull up bars with an option of assisted pull-up, two leg extension machines, two reversed leg curl machines, two full size leg presses, a bunch of different machines for you glutes, one calf extension machine, lots of cable weight stacks that you can chose what attachment to use with them and lastly there are a few chest fly/rear dealt machines. I might have missed a few so if something isn’t on this list that doesn’t mean that they don’t have it. To finish off this review the staff that work their are super friendly and always say hello and goodbye to me. Overall I think I would rate this gym 20/10.

The only reason I’m not giving this five stars is because there is NEVER any working water fountains, or bottle refill station In the entire gym. Granted covid is still a thing but like…. This is a gym…. You would think there would be some way to get water without being a health risk. The only water to be found is in the pool and toilets. Honestly joining this gym was the worst mistake I've ever made. Joined Jan 2020 with my husband for a 1 year contract. Worked out there Jan and Feb of 2020 and have not stepped foot inside since then. I called to freeze our membership multiple times to not have to pay full price for a gym we were not using due to covid. Half the time they never did it or would freeze me and not my husband. Every time I called I got a different excuse from a different person. Called again in March after getting charged again and they gave me some excuse so I decided I wanted to cancel the membership. They inform me you have to go in person (during a pandemic) to cancel. We finally go in person after we got our vaccinations on April 3rd to cancel, but apparently you can only cancel Monday - Friday from 9-5 or something. Go in Monday the 5th to cancel and the manager is at lunch. Apparently you can only cancel through the manager. I then drive back up there again go cancel and I talked with the manager and got the cancellation paperwork. I complained about the horrible customer service and cancellation process. He assured me he was new, but they were working to fix that. We discussed everything and he assured me I was cancelled as of April 5th and he would submit for a refund for the April dues. Now it's April 15th and no refund. I call back up there and talk to the same manager and he tried to tell me my term isn't over til October and my husband in July. He gave me no reason as to why even though my contract in hand said it was over January 2021. At this point I'm fuming and he dismissing me telling me I have to pay until then or pay $50 to cancel now.

Finally gave me the corporate number, I call them, they cancel me and waive all cancelation fees and I have officially complained to corporate so maybe they will do something. Honestly save your money and time and never join this gym. Save your money and buy a Peloton.

I am more than satisfied with the services rendered. I am pleased with my original contract and even more so with my updated one. I have a great personal trainer, Pearl. She keeps me and my daughter motivated with nutrition tips and exercise routines that are tailored to our individual needs. My daughter is obese and I have mobility issues.
The manager is courteous and helpful. He easily upgraded my contract and during my disabled son’s home visit this past Christmas, he allowed me to sit in the waiting area with him while my daughter attended our training appointment. I highly recommend this club. A quality investment.

The new operational manager at this facility is one of the rudest, and unprofessional individuals I have ever dealt with. Not only did she lose one membership but two very soon if this is not dealt with. Her attitude, and demeanor creates such a rude, and uninviting environment. If she doesn’t like her job, then she can go somewhere else. I’ve been here for a long time and it is just disappointing to know she runs this local gym. No respect what so ever.

However, the other Hispanic gentleman exhibits the most professional and hardworking demeanor. I’ve had brief interactions with him and they were truly welcoming. I paid the cancelation and they still attempting charges from my card, I explain the situation to the lady on the phone and she was very rude. I don't recomend this place because the nasty attitude from personal. The first time you go they give you a smile like every place but when you have this situation like me about membership cancelation they turn rude. Dont go there.

I would say, the current staff they have are the best, having said that, I had a very bad experience with their previous staff. These people who are currently representing such a big brand are really proficient and helpful. I would Highly recommend this branch.

I just moved my membership to LA FITNESS. I couldn’t be happier. Super clean facilities (equipment and towels). Knowledgeable and friendly staff that go out of their way to handle any need are request you may have. Sauna and pool are clean and in great shape. This place has all the best weight equipment from free weights to machines. Great cardio (treadmill, row, and spin bikes). Glad I made the change!!

The one near Winchester Rd close to Hacks Cross, has the BEST seniors' EXERCISE classes! When I go, I love the water aerobics too, only wish it would revert back to Saturdays so I can enjoy the exercises, Tues and Thurs 11:00 am, and also attend the water aerobics on Saturdays!!

Got to love your gym! I feel connected with the gym and enjoy the layout. Staff is cool and I really enjoy the staff personality. Ask for Juice if you would like some training.

Poor customer service, this "signature" location only offers towel service and nothing more. We tried to cancel our membership because we are relocating and it took going 5 different times because the right person had to be there. Staff is not knowledgeable of policies.
