We paid all this money to get here… $100 pass for the weekend tournament per adult. Gatorade’s are 5 dollars.. a pretzel and Pepsi 16 and some change.. and at the VERY LEAST THE COULD HAVE THE AC ON FOR US!
It feels like the heat is pumping! This facility might pull over a 100k this weekend alone… and we’re in here fanning ourselves with paper plates! That’s a damn shame.

Very huge complex. My 13U AAU Basketball Team were there for a Tournament. I think there were 15 to 20 Basketball games going at one time each day. The food court served very delicious foods too. Clean bathrooms.

I would give a 0 star review but it's not an option! We traveled from illinois to the Memphis Sports and Events Center, first there was no way of knowing they take card only for EVERYTHING and I mean for everything!!!!!! PS Thank you to the kind gentlemen that used his card for us after waiting in line for an hour so we didn't have to go to the car and wait in line again (God bless you) The major thing that was very upsetting and disappointing was the rudeness from the workers/volunteers there which regardless if they get paid or not they should still should show respect and courtsey when others are spending very good money there ( not to mention their child/children play there also mind you) We had even heard while waiting in line from others that they are very rude there and hate coming to this tournament! Now let's get to the prices and the card only situation and how everything cost an arm an a leg...This facility charges parking ($10) food and drinks ( a single water was 4.98) along with a Saturday and Sunday pass ($28 a peraon) with no seating for the capacity that there was. I will end by saying i will not nor will my family be participating in anything related to this faculty!

My car was stolen last night along with two others. No security on the lot, no police presence, to put a building in that location of Memphis and not have any kind of security is a complete disservice to paying members. Cameras are low quality and glitched at the exact time my car was one of three stolen off your lot. Complete disservice!

No food when you are not allowed to bring in food. The food provided before running out by lunch the first day: candy, Gatorade, alcohol, wings, lettuce with shredded cheese, breakfast sandwhich and ice cream...this is all garbage.

I want to thank you all MSEC’s staffs and program coordinators . My son is 10 years old and he is been to summer and fall camps , he is been also to many other camp like MJCC, Zoo camps and other places which he is been happy , but he is always very happy and positive to attend MSEC camps . My son’s party was the best party he’s had. He’s a basketball player and very adventurous kid. So the access to courts with his friends and the ninja course was perfect together. Everything was very affordable and everyone was so nice and helpful! Brooke was very kind through us setting up and organizing the event through email. Quick to respond too! Our hostess was moving and grooving keeping everything timed perfectly and moving good. The food manager was awesome as well. 10/10 recommend

Perfect spot for our six year old's bday party. The staff was so very accommodating, the party room perfect, the 901 Ninja Challenge stellar AND the kids had a blast. Overall it’s a pretty good place for volleyball. Most of the staff were nice, some were just indifferent, but no one was rude. Two things I didn’t like, their wrist band policy and food prices.

In most arenas, they will let you just hold the wrist band for a weekend pass or give you one that can be removed. Not here you have to wear it for 2 days. You have to sleep with it and shower with it. It did survive one shower but still annoying.

The prices were just too high for the quality of food you get. A bottle of water was $4+, chicken strips were dry, and the hamburger didn’t taste right.

Facility is great, policy on outside foods during a huge dance event for little kids and family’s is absolute trash. Thanks to your policy’s we are subjected to being forced to buy your food and drinks. Heaven forbid my kid brings a snack in her bag cause she is unable to get food in between sets.

(Update) After a year and going back to this venue for an all weekend dance competition, we can say that they did a better job on allowing outside food and drinks. The dancers were happy that they were able to eat, not wait in a line, and eat on the go.

This facility has the potential to be amazing. It starts off with online ticket ordering which should be great, it gives the facility a general idea of how many spectators to expect and therefore plan seating accordingly. Instead many on the volleyball courts did not have adequate seating available and the parents and grandparents of the athletes were forced to stand or heaven forbid sit on the sticky crusty blackened floor. We started our day off thinking we were lucky and in great shape as our side of the court had two bleacher stands. One seemed to have fallen out of the back of a truck as it was twisted and mangled but still doable. Apparently, though, we showed too much happiness and appreciation as one of the bleachers were taken away and hauled off to who knows where, probably storage. The seating, crusty floor catastrophe is only experienced after you have sat in your car for an hour. Google maps claimed that the trip from our hotel was a short 15 min drive to this facility but failed to mention the Parking Lot Mafia collecting a toll. This 45 minute slow down resulted in more than half of our team being late. It should probably be mentioned in the online ticket sales to expect parking delays. With the excessive entry fee for a children's tournament and the exorbitant fee for subpar parking, something as simple as a seat should not be considered an outrageous or unachievable feat. I am giving a 2 star review, because the only overflowing trash cans I observed resided in the bathrooms.

We attended the UCA cheer event this weekend. Our group arrived in the parking lot to discover 2 of our group's cars had smashed windows and things stolen from them. There were 18 cars in all. Three of the vehicles that were broken into were parked within 60 feet of the entrance of the facility. The "security" on site - and I use that term very loosely - said this is not an uncommon event and they just can't seem to do anything about it. It would be a very good idea to invest in security and safety for your visitors before something truly serious happens. As for our 80-plus group of people, we won't be back.

They hire incompetent staff and expect a high level customer experience!
