Phenomenal, knowledgeable staff, great amenities, excellent programs for seniors and youth, and nice, clean equipment make this the best YMCA facility I have ever seen! Their community involvement is unmatched as well. I am sincerely impressed!

This is the best YMCA to go on Sunday if you want the indoor pool, swimming, Sauna and the spa!!

I invited a guest to experience the YMCA. Most YMCA are either closer on Sunday or without the indoor swimming pool!

That’s why I choose this one, although it is 25 mins drive away! But it is definitely worth it. The staff are friendly and we have the locker, the shower spot, and the hairdryer as well.

The instructors, Trish, Marissa, Talisa n Elaine are simply exceptional. If u see a class they are leading, please go bc it will be well worth your time. They truly care abt you n how they lead the work outs! I highly recommend it!!!

I am a diabetic and I swim 20 laps 5-6 days a week. I also work out on a couple of machines in the workout room after I swim. This activity allows me to keep my blood sugar and blood pressure in check. The staff is very friendly and operative when I ask for something. I appreciate the opportunities the Y offers our community.

I have an autoimmune connective tissue disease. It causes pain in my joints and muscles. I was hoping to use the pool for some less painful movement. I can not swim as well as I used to, get tired easily, and walking on the pool floor is as painful as walking on land. I am 5' 7". I was hoping I could wear a life jacket and move between the depths of 4'6"-6'6". I was told this is not allowed, even if I have a disability. They will not accommodate me. If I wear a jacket, I must stay in the 3'6", which is just too shallow. The woman at the front desk stated she has mobility issues, so I should be fine in the shallow end. On top of their inability for compassion, the YMCA will charge us another $80 on September 1st because we found all this out on August 5th. I'd already swam there in the jacket 4 times prior. They are not the same organization that allowed accommodations for my grandfather with ALS years ago.

It's a good facility, but they keep flagging my account and keep pulling unnecessary background checks despite my background being clean. How was I able to come in almost everyday for a month and BAM! all of a sudden need another backgorund check? And every time they flag, they force you not to use the facility until the flag is off. HOW BOGUS!!!! But they have NO ISSUE taking the monthly fee out of my account!!

Everything was great except for the locker room. The lockers were extremely rusty. Please YMCA coordinators, please restore and repaint the lockers. They really need some attention.

The employees are so friendly and always greet us when we come in. My daughters LOVE going to Y Play and it gives my husband and I a chance to workout in the evenings. The weight room has plenty of space and weights, as well as cardio machines. I wish they had more early morning classes and a bigger free weight area. Other than that, we love going here and getting a good workout in!

It’s a decent gym… however I was told when signing up .. that my siblings can go on a treadmill… you know to work out and stuff even though they’re young but I needed them to lose weight so going on that ( just the treadmill and bikes basically not weight stuff). I signed up… after 3 months… the front desk (someone Hispanic) told me that I can’t do … even tho I told her that I was promise to from the MANAGER HERSELF…

Paid 160$ for swimming lessons for my 7yo with a high school student..who let my kid lead the way.. I explained my goal was getting familiar with holding
breath under water.had maybe a total of almost 30 sec total of practice with face under water(last two days altogether) ..very unsatisfied..I don’t recommend choosing them for training classes period.Big rip

I was welcomed with warm greetings from several staff members when I joined the Y on January 1. The registration process was quick (less than 10 mins and that's because computer was slow) and easy. I received a call from staff the next day to make sure I was aware of the benefits of joining. Everyone [staff and members] is very pleasant and encouraging. I'm so glad I joined.

Since the change in management, the place is nasty after hours and weekends. The aqua classes are taken over by unruly children and young adults splashing, diving and shooting water guns.

The facility and equipment needs to be updated. This YMCA is very small compared to the Collierville, Downtown and Cordova location. The amount of equipment they have is limited because its such a small facility...

They have an older mean female receptionist up front (seems like she hates her job). She doesn't smile or anything, just an unpleasant experience to deal with her. However, there is two additional substitute receptionists (younger male and female) always SUPER nice to everyone. They have excellent customer service!

The locker rooms are clean and the pool is inviting. The weight lifting and exercise rooms could use Improvement but are acceptable. I've never had an issue with any of the staff, they've always been polite and left you alone.
