NPTC is amazing! I recently started training with Brian after recovering from surgery. He has struck the perfect balance between providing me with a challenging workout and remaining aware of my limitations. Brian even figured out a way to modify squats - specific to me - after a decade or so of struggling with the same because of an old ankle injury. Finally, the owners, Jess and Jackie, are incredibly responsive and kind. I cannot recommend NPTC enough. Ask for Brian!!

I can't express how fortunate I feel to have found Sara Howe at NTPC as my strength coach. Two years ago I was looking at shifting my focus from HIIT and cardio to a more strength-oriented training program. Often, it seems like women are offered a 'lite' version of strength training in many gyms, which I was happy to find was not the case with Sara!

Since working with Sara I've seen incredible improvements in both my strength and body composition. My squats, for instance, started at 80lbs and with her coaching I was squatting 150lbs in just one year (which surprised even me)! I also amazingly saw my body fat drop to 17% when I was seeing her twice a week. This was without doing any crazy crash diets or tons of cardio - it was simply doing consistent strength training under her guidance and eating normal and healthy.

Sara also genuinely cares about her clients and tailors her training program to their goals. Having previously attended HIIT classes for years, I can confidently say that the best results and positive changes in my body have come from my time training with her. She is an excellent coach who walks the walk and regularly inspires me! Go see her if you want results!

I love, and I mean LOVE, NPTC. I've been personally working out with them for almost two years and have never felt stronger. These trainers are health, strength, and functional movement focused, and make every single session fun. (Which is hard to do when you're lifting heavy weights or in a plank position.) My husband and I are both in larger bodies and the trainers at NPTC have never once made us feel too big or out of shape to work out. They've helped us set reasonable goals around movement and not weight loss. I feel better, stronger, and happier for it. I've personally worked out with both Sara and Sam and have never been disappointed, but Jess, Jackie, Kate, and Shelby are all wonderful too. If you need the accountability, like I do, to get your cutie bootie into the gym, this is the company to work with. Absolutely FIVE stars!

SAM is by far and away the best trainer I’ve ever had. He’s so knowledgeable, patient, and creative with the workouts he plans. He pays VERY close attention to what you’re doing, your form, and is fully checked in and present, all the time. (Trust me, that is not the norm.) HES THE MAN TO SEE!!!!!!

I’ve been going to this gym and training with Sam every week for the past 3 months and wow! I can already see and feel the results. Sam is very intentional on gradually increasing my strength training every session but manages to keep the workout so entertaining I don’t even realize our time is up. I’ve been training with Jess and NPT for over a year! I can’t imagine ever leaving.

Usually we do in person sessions but they’re flexible. If I’m out of town or stuck at home in a snow storm we’ll do a virtual workout via FaceTime. I’m convinced the virtuals are harder than our in person workout!

The new studio is awesome! I have a real love/hate relationship with the sled. They have tons of equipment. Usually Jess and I work more functional exercises. She’s also taught me some the heavier lifts with a barbell so I feel comfortable doing them on my own.

Jess really tailors my workouts to how I’m feeling that day. I struggled with some low back pain last fall and Jess was very intentional about what we worked on. She always checks to my sure the movements are aggravating my back. We really focused on core strength and my back hardly ever bothers me now!

I go twice a week and NPT is easily the best money I spend on myself every month!!

I’ve been training with Jess for several months now and couldn’t be more pleased with my results. My strength has improved tremendously. She specializes each session personally for me and my needs. I am a Yoga teacher and offer arm balancing in most of my classes. Being right handed I usually demo the right side, and then walk around give assistance to students. I noticed some loss of strength on my left side last year. That is why I sought the help of a personal trainer. The sessions are very efficient, and they respect your time. That was very important to me. I can’t say enough good things about this company. I promise you won’t be disappointed if you give them try!

Before moving out of state, I did personal training with Jess for a little less than a year and I can’t say enough positive things about her! I have been working out with Nashville PTC for around a month now and I absolutely love it. I’ve always been an active person but I have never taken any formal workout classes because it’s always a little nerve wracking to think you’re not as fit as everyone else or that you don’t look like someone who works out. Jackie and Jess literally make you feel so welcome and there’s never been a moment where I feel like I’m being judged or not good enough. They adapt every exercise for complete beginners, to harder stuff for the more experienced. Their group classes are super affordable, they’re fun and different every week. I love that they offer a zoom option if the weather is bad or if you’re out of town so you never have to miss a class! You don’t need to go and buy all the fanciest equipment, they’ll just meet you where you’re at, and give you household items to use as an alternative if you don’t have weights or something. It’s super down to earth and leaves you feeling great about yourself every week. I’d recommend this to anyone even if you’re not in Nashville!

I have been seeing Jess at NPTC since the middle of October. I absolutely love working with Jess. I felt like I had hit rock bottom with my body. I was weighing the most I have ever weighed, my blood pressure was high, I wasn't eating well - the list goes on.

Since I started working with Jess, I've learned to eat better, have lost 15 pounds, toned up, and I feel a million times better. Jess personalizes each workout, encourages me, and makes it fun! The studio is so clean and I feel 100% comfortable coming in and working out. We plan out a schedule for the following week and she communicates with me if an opening to come in earlier opens up! This is so helpful for me to maximize my days off to ensure I get a great workout in and have time for all the other things that need to be done.

In July of 2020, I was looking for a personal trainer that I would feel comfortable around and would go at my speed, not one of a power lifter. After looking all over Nashville, I found Nashville Personal Training Company and emailed them immediately. I received a response instantly from Jess Macy, one of the owners and she invited me to their studio for a session. When I arrived, I instantly felt comfortable and Jess talked with me about my goals for personal training. I have been having training sessions with Jess twice a week since July and I have loved every minute. We always try new exercises and she is beyond encouraging. On Saturday morning's, they hold training sessions out at Shelby park, which has been a lot of fun, especially during 2020 :) I would highly recommend Nashville Personal Training Company as Jess and Jackie (the owners) are wonderful people and certified trainers, which is important when looking for someone to help with your fitness goals.

I continued to work with her while I rehabbed, and she was able to complement the work I was doing in therapy. It was a big help. I went to a group class on Saturday morning. It was AMAZING! Both trainers kept the group motivated with encouraging words and supported us throughout the workout with form and individualized modifications. Although it was a group fitness class, it felt tailored to my needs individually. I attend many other group fitness classes locally, but few others have trainers as knowledgeable and attentive as Nashville personal training company. Check them out!!!!!
