I’ve been training with Elexus since July 2024. I started with her when I was working on making my body strong after some back injuries. We worked on corrective exercises and slowly worked our way up to using heavier weights which gave me much needed confidence after accidentally overdoing it on my own one too many times. She slowed me down or pushed when I needed it. This year when I got pregnant Elexus was pivotal to me staying mobile through the last months of pregnancy. We worked on pelvic floor movements, weights and Elexus adjusted her exercise plan according to how my body was feeling and what it needed throughout my pregnancy. She is super receptive to feedback, pushes you and at the same time is very encouraging. The gym itself has everything you need to improve with a crew of positive trainers. A true no judgment zone.

I attest that to the wonderful trainers! Training with Brittany has been incredible! I started my program with her in February, and she consistently shows up, pushes me, watches my form, understands my strengths and weaknesses, and enables me to hit PRs, I never thought I would be able to do! Not only is Brittany always smiling, but most importantly, she truly watches my exercise exercises the entire hour and looks for ways to improve my training. I’ve trained with coach Buffalo for a few years. He’s tough but understanding helps you set realistic goals and pushes you to reach them. and puts his all into what he does. I’ve lost 100+ pounds since I started training with coach buff. so when he decided to start training here of course I followed him.
Since transitioning to Next Level a few months ago, I can’t do anything but give this gym praise. The space is great, everyone is nice, and the equipment is well kept.
All of the trainers are personable and knowledgeable and everyone steps in to help each other and the space is always kept clean.

Genuinely, I only have positive things to say about this place. It’s one of the best gyms I’ve been to in Nashville.

I've been training with Elexus for 4 months now, focusing on strength training and corrective exercise. Elexus was extremely intentional and thoughtful in our treatment plan, and it shows weekly! Her professionalism is paired with expertise and I appreciate the science that's incorporated in our sessions. I'm learning more than I ever have about my body! There is major improvements with my chronic back pain for the first time in 6 years, and my overall phsyique is already aligning towards the goal I set faster than I ever anticipated. I've recommended Elexus to friends, family members, coworkers and strangers. I started training with Brittany Payne two months ago and am having an amazing experience! I was admittedly wary of this form of exercise-I’ve been a group exercise instructor for years and am very much in that world. I have been training with Coach Buffalo for a couple years now. We have recently transitioned to Next Level as the facility is massive and up to date with nice equipment. Also a very clean environment. Training with Matt ( Coach Buffalo) has been great! He is truly a Coach and not just some trainer. He pushes me, holds me accountable, calls me out, and the best part is , if I cannot make it to Next Level because I am traveling, he coaches me virtually using whatever tools I have available. Last year I had a shoulder injury causing my work outs to change to rehabilitation. Without surgery or meds, Matt came up with a plan that totally rehabbed my shoulder. I work in video production for brands and the music industry. It is important I got rehab to operate cameras and continue my craft! Also as much as I do not like Leg Day, my legs are important for work as well! Thanks Coach Buffalo and Next Level.

I've been training for more than a year at Next Level Fitness with Elexus and I cannot say enough about what this has meant for my fitness - both body and mind. Elexus really takes the time to get to know her clients and their fitness goals, and makes sure the workouts she plans are working towards those goals. She knows how to push you into new territory - higher weight, new exercises - while instilling confidence in you. The gym itself has all the things you need, and none of the things you don't - including egos! Its a welcoming environment where any given day this middle aged mom may be working alongside a person in their 20s and 80s. The trainers all seem to support each other and the vibes are just good. I've been training with Christian Pitkin at Next Level twice a week for a little over a year. Having had no prior gym experience, I was nervous about starting my fitness journey and finding a trainer who could meet me at my level of (in)experience and help me to grow in an area that isn't where my natural talent lies. However, upon starting, Christian immediately set me at ease. He was very careful to plan out exercises that met me at my level of ability and allowed me to make steady progress on my overall health journey based on my stated goals. He consistently encourages me to progress and regularly checks in with me to make sure he's getting my feedback to keep me engaged with and involved in my own personal journey, and he makes sure he's updating and personalizing my workout regimen to keep things effective and interesting. Christian's patience, attention to detail, and consistently friendly demeanor have turned what was once an intimidating experience into a valued part of my weekly schedule to which I look forward. His added advice as to nutrition and activities I can do outside the gym to improve my overall health have been valuable, and his ability as a fun conversationalist make every session feel like it flies by. To say my experience at next level has been near perfect would be an understatement. I started seeing Chandler back in September due to my lack of experience and insecurities surrounding the gym. During our initial meeting he told me that it would be hard, it would take lots of time/effort and that if I was willing to put in the work, he would gladly guide me. In the beginning I felt very self conscious and uncomfortable, but he was very kind and helpful with everything along the way. Fast forward to today, I meet with him 5 times a week and I look forward to every session. I have my training plan that he sends to me, so I know exactly what we are training on what days. He tweaks my meal plan and training plan every so often to accommodate the goals I am trying to reach. I’ve been very happy with the changes I have seen in my body so far. If I ever feel unmotivated or if I have an off day, he’s quick to motivate me and tell me exactly what I need to hear. If you’re going to invest time and money into your health and fitness, I would highly recommend training at this gym with Chandler. Truly a great person and trainer.

I've been working out at Next Level Fitness for 5 months now, and my experience has been very enjoyable. Before joining, I have always been an active person and had experience with working out, but never was able to reach my goals of putting on muscle and getting stronger. The owner, Jack, set me up with Chandler, and he has been delightful to train with.
Chandler is an expert in the weight room and in the kitchen. He has me following a workout and nutrition plan that is specifically fit for my personal goals. As a trainer, Chandler is very motivating and pushes me hard to be my best self. Chandler is very accommodating regarding scheduling, and I have never had any issue trying to communicate with him as he always is quick to respond to texts and calls 24/7. Every day it is apparent that he cares about me as a friend and works just as hard as I to help me better myself.
From before joining to now, I have put on over 35lbs of muscle and I'm in the best shape I've ever been. I am thankful for Chandler's and Next Level Fitness' hard work and I don't ever see myself leaving.

Unfortunately, my experience with Chandler has been disappointing at best. I had been going to the gym (ISI in the Nations) five times a week until I underwent major surgery in October and absolutely loved it. As soon as I was cleared to return, I decided to restart my fitness journey with a personal trainer. Despite some assistance with form and stretching, I now dread my scheduled sessions. The trainer's dismissive comments and constant interruptions leave me feeling unheard and unsupported. Additionally, his negative nature and offhand remarks about eating at McDonald's or Burger King were uncalled for and inaccurate. I cannot recommend this program to anyone seeking a positive, supportive coaching experience.

I’ve been training with Christian Pitkin for several months now. About 4 years ago, at age 56, I suffered a stroke. I have recovered nicely, but I wanted to go beyond what physical therapy had helped me accomplish. Christian helps with my overall strength but he also helps me focus on balance, movement and overall functionality. I have already improved balance and movement significantly. I’ve also learned how to supplement my training outside the gym with Christian’s guidance.

Christian keeps the workouts fresh and explains his philosophy towards training really well. He teaches that repetition is key, but he also adds increasingly challenging skills as I improve. Stretching and nutrition advice is included.

Christian is encouraging at just the right level. He takes great progress notes and always has a plan for each session before it begins.

He also knows every song played in the gym, he has great dance moves (I don’t) and he will gladly discuss the weather, sports, and a multitude of other topics during the workout.

It’s a fun and productive time with Christian!

Like everyone else I gained COVID weight and needed to get back to a healthier me. I came back to Next Fitness Level Fitness because I had trained there before COVID. The trainer I trained with ended up moving on and that is where I was paired with Sebastian. I trained with him for over a year and he’s gotten me to be in the best shape I’ve ever been. The workouts are fun and challenging, that 1 hour goes by so quick! Not only is Sebastian a great trainer, he also ended up being a friend. If anyone gets paired with him you won’t regret it.

I recently completed a fitness program here and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I've made for my health and fitness. My trainer, Sebastian, was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, and the workouts were challenging but also fun.

I've been training at this gym for a while now, and I gotta say, it's the real deal. The trainers here are absolute badasses who know their stuff inside and out. They'll push you to your limits and beyond, but they'll also make sure you have a damn good time doing it.

The trainers aren’t all physical therapists, but they know how to work on areas where you are weakest and keep your sensitive or injured areas protected. I’ve never learned so much about my muscles and body in general.

Importantly, the vibe of the gym is just awesome. You're surrounded by other people who are serious about getting fit and crushing their goals, and it's insanely motivating. No one is too “gym-crazy” though, so it felt very approachable.

All in all, I can't recommend NextLevel Fitness enough. If you're ready to kick your workouts up a notch and become a total badass, then this is the gym for you. See you there!

I can’t speak highly enough of this gym, the environment and the trainers. When I first started with Brian, we discussed goals, current fitness level and diet. I have been working with Steven Earwood for a couple years now. He is a great trainer. He is great at customizing a workout that fits your goals and knows how to identify and rectify you’re weaknesses. Steven was my trainer consistently for about three months. The first time I met with him he high-fived me, talked about my goals, and we got right into it. Every session was different. He has an arsenal of knowledge that goes well beyond any “at home” exercise program. If you want results, hire Steven. It’s a great facility and because its a training only gym, the number of people working out at one time is kept low so it never feels crowded. I've been training over 2 years here with Steven Earwood and I couldn’t have selected a better trainer. Steven met with me initially to discuss why I wanted a personal trainer and what my goals were so he could understand where I was coming from and help me get to where I wanted to be. We did an initial physical assessment and every 12 sessions, we do a re-assessment to track my progress. I started going to NLF a few months ago as a supplement to exercising at other local gyms. The gym is spacious, organized, and kept very clean. You check your own temperature at the door, the equipment is regularly being sanitized, and the sheer size of the gym allows for social distancing. Parking is easy and plentiful. There is a large variety of equipment allowing for each workout to be different. Steven Earwood is an incredible trainer whom I'd strongly recommend. Not only are his workouts creative, but he understands and teaches the importance of good form, human anatomy, and stretching/mobility work. Since working out with him, not only has my form improved but I've felt fewer aches and pains that I normally felt during and after workouts. He definitely gets results. I've been training with Melissa Hayes twice a week and I love it! She pays very close attention to my form and has pointed out issues I didn't even realize I had. She works with what my body can do and pushes just enough. I've done a different set of workouts each session which keeps it interesting. I've been training with Dani Dyer at NLF for the past two weeks, and I'm already smitten! Dani is such a supportive trainer and cheerleader, and really gives her all as a professional, from personalized in-person sessions and suggested at-home training schedule, to nutrition support and nearly daily text check-ins. I am naturally more attracted to cardio focused exercise, but recently realized the importance of weight training as I age, and Dani has made that transition comfortable, but appropriately challenging. Ladies!! I know you've been to gyms where the ladies lounge is gross. Yes, I'm judging. Anyone can buy fitness equipment and call it a gym. Not only do they have everything you would ever need for a workout, they take care of their gym equipment and they take care of the ladies lounge. I would not be afraid to take a shower in there. That attention to detail is what makes this place the top quality fitness studio it is.

Next Level is truly another level of personal training in Nashville. I started training with Steven Earwood at the beginning of 2021 and ended up renewing my package for more training sessions. I have been around athletics and trainers by whole life but have never had the in-depth knowledge of personal training that Steven bestows on every work-out. The first time that I went into Next Level Fitness, I went to meet my new personal trainer Lee Maasen. As soon as I walked in, you get a sense of the welcome by the staff. looking around, iit was easy to notice how clean the facility was, and how eager the staff is to welcome ya in. One thing in particular that I did notice, and I have had this problem at other gyms is that there was not a single piece of equipment that was broke down or malfunction. Everything was in perfect working order and very well organized. I truly cannot say enough good things about next level and my trainer Lee Maasen. I've been training at Next Level for a while now and have had nothing but positive experiences. The space is large, clean, always well-maintained, and they have some great equipment. Everyone there is great and there is always a fun sense of friendship throughout the building.

My trainer (Steven Earwood) is awesome and has helped me get over many fitness hurdles that have troubled me over the years. He always manages to keep workouts interesting and intense. I can easily say I've never felt any of our sessions were repetitive as he always finds crazy ways to mix it up just as I'm getting a little too comfortable. Even on the days where I am not in the mood to be at the gym, I ALWAYS leave glad that I came, and I can directly thank Steven for that.
All of the other trainers are great, as well, each friendly and motivating even though I'm not their client.

For the last 4 years (and counting!) I've been working out at Next Level Fitness (NLF) -- and I love it. Jack Haynes, Louie (my trainer) and the rest of the team have made it a comfortable, fun, and really effective place to focus on your fitness. This is a gym for trainers and their clients, meaning you never have to wait for it to open. If you don’t know one of the trainers there already, Jack will be glad to match you with one.

I’ve used personal training options at other gyms before. I’ve always felt they were lacking because for a variety of reasons, such as the personal training studio was cramped, you’re on the gym floor competing with all the members (with or without trainers) for equipment, or the trainers just weren’t into it. Next Level Fitness has all that (and more) figured out. I’m looking forward to my next session already!
