There are not enough good things I can say about Craig and the team at Night Owl Circus. From my first class over 6 years ago when I had never even done a pull up I felt encouraged and immediately fell in love with aerial acrobatics eventually becoming an aerial teacher myself. Even though I have moved away whenever I am back in town I always stop by to take a class with my home town studio. I recommend for beginners who are curious and for advanced students who want a great and supportive environment to train in.

When I signed up for my first class at NOCA, I was filled with a mix of excitement and nerves. I’ve never been graceful or athletic. As someone who has always been plus sized, I was worried that the instructors or even the silks wouldn’t be able to handle me. The website stated in various places that aerials we for “every body” so I decided to give it a try. The time I have spent at NOCA have been some of the happiest moments of my life. Craig and the other instructors are very patient and knowledgeable on many pose modifications to make the silks an experience for people of all skill levels. For me NOCA has always been a very body positive, open minded place where I have always felt welcome. I’ve learned so much, gained many friends and became super flexible! I can not recommend NOCA enough! If you have any hesitations, do yourself a favor and try one class! You’ll be so glad you did.

I hired Night Owl Circus arts to perform at a private event and they went absolutely above and beyond! The owner Craig made multiple trips to our site to discuss setup and logistics. We had one request that the performance be patriotic themed and the silks colors, costumes and songs could not have been more perfect! Wonderful environment to learn! There are both fitness and aerial classes, and many of each type so there is a lot of room to explore! I’ve loved working with each of the instructors; all are very knowledgeable of their craft. If you’re a beginner, private lessons are available but the instructors do a wonderful job working with you on your level within the group classes! And it’s a lot of fun to learn alongside others! 10/10 would recommend ♥️

Johnson City Circus Arts is such a great place to learn Aerial Arts in the Tri-Cities area! Craig is such a great teacher, even when he's got 4 out of 5 of us girls totally inexperienced. I started by taking one aerial silks group class as a beginner, and was really impressed with owner/instructor Craig Lewis. Craig customized my lesson to my limited abilities while instructing more advanced students at the same time. I have now taken 8 group lessons and each time Craig helps me safely advance to moves I never thought possible! Craig is a fantastic aerial silks instructor!
