Honestly it's a solid place to workout. For a commercial gym you can pretty much hit everything you need. It's a laid back environment. Now there's plate loaded equipment which I enjoy. My only complaints are if you go at certain times you will be overwhelmed by people. The other one is I wish that they had heavier free weights. Besides that you really can't beat if for how cheap the membership is.

There was a lot of unnecessary corporate friction on signing up. The location itself seems well managed. It’s really busy during rush times, but somehow, I can usually get access to equipment. Prices are the most affordable of any gym in town. Lockers and showers were also better than the other gyms I looked at.

It's the gym to go to if you're just a regular, average, or just beginning your fitness journey. However, once you get 2 or 3 weeks of consistent workout time under your belt, this gym won't work for you anymore. Most of the equipment is cardio, the kettlebells aren't heavy enough, the only free weights they have are dumbells, and no barbells are only smith machines.

This was a 4-star review because they're really good at roping you in, but when I went to cancel online the computer system messed up and didn't cancel me. I was a premium member and was charged $50 for the past two months after I cancelled. I went to the club to try and get a refund, but was denied. The assistant manager could see on the computer where was going consistently until I updated my account information the same day I told her I cancelled and that I proceeded to not go to the gym for the following two months. She wouldn't give me a refund without a confirmation email that I clearly didn't have from their computer system messing up, so I pretty much was robbed of $50.

Planet Fitness, as a truck driver I have been coming to this gym for more than 2 years. Since those two years me and other fellow truck drivers usually sleep at night in this plaza and hit gym and showers in the morning or at their convenience but last night we were told to leave the premises. Please fix this issue with the plaza management. There's ample of parking in the back which doesn't even get full by cars and we all know this. I hope you stand with Truck Drivers and talk to management.

Zero Stars if I could, they started a new process yesterday where the staff has to hold the check-in device in their hands and then you have to try and swipe your card numerous times to get it to work before you can enter. The old way was you checked yourself in and the staff were behind the counter doing other duties. It's not the manager's fault, she is awesome, it's corporate's rule. Other than that, the facility is very clean, his staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the facility itself is extremely small in comparison to the amount of people that actually use it.

Cookeville is awesome in general, I love how everything is so close and accessible without being a huge city with a million people.
This gym is pretty cool. I'm seeing more of these railings everywhere to block of certain sections. Not a fan but I digress.

I like how it's separated enough so no one really goes to the 30 minute section. That's my spot cuz I'm shy around the ladies and don't want the dudes mad when I outlift them.
You NEED to hit those leg extensions in the 30 minute area! That fan is heavenly. I almost never left.
Only gripe I have is that dumb beeping timer in there. Let a brotha live!

Went there at around 11 AM during summer so ai figured they will not be busy. It was ok. Didn’t have to wait for machines to open up since they have a lot.
