Be aware if there was a zero I would pick it. There was two ladies working at the Planet fitness on Western Avenue heavy set with black curly hair and younger looking one very skinny long black hair look down on me from the time I walk down did not want to help me with anythingwould not let me tan would not let me even explain to her. I donโt have an app on my phone she was very horrible talking about me, whispering to the other girl very sad service.

Well...... went in to tan today in standup. And there is 14 bulbs out!!!!!!!! That is not exceptable!!!!!! I pay each month to tan and should be able to tan in a bed or stand up with all bulbs working! This is ridiculous.

incident between employee and members. sunday morning employee has yelled at multiple members, for looking at their phones walking after the check in table. to the point where everyone is staring at her. i get if someone in the locker rooms tells them they were taking pictures in there. but that isnโt the case. she needs to be dealt with.

Every time I witness her, she seems very attentive to what she is doing ensuring things are completely clean. I am canceling my membership. I have been with them for a number of years. I have brought up the nastiness of their showers to them no avail. I am surprised that someone hasnโt notified the health department. There has been hair and scum on the walls, not to mention splashes of blood on the walls, on Wednesday and itโs still there on Monday. Unless you want to take a chance on a fungus, or disease, I wouldnโt recommend.

Read your contract because there's a lot of shady stuff to rob your money. Even after canceling my membership I found out they KEPT billing me when my payment already didn't go through the first 3 times (which you would figure they would take the hint you couldn't pay and cancel anyway but no they continue to bill you) and they're still trying to charge my card random prices between 49, 65, and 25$ so I'm planning on trying to contact the better business bureau on this. The employees give you the run around saying it's canceled not telling you yeah we're gonna keep billing you (thanks I wasted over an hour to drive there and be able to pay my insurance I now can't use my card for.) and basically I'm gonna have to just cancel my card since they're continuing to try and rob me. Also something they don't say straight up: You can only cancel your membership by going to your club you signed up at or mailing a letter, and until then you can still be scammed by them if you hadn't already canceled and possibly moved which will waste even MORE โบ ๐ of your time.

Good vibes. I have a membership using fitnessyourway and I havenโt been able to figure out how to use it here. I asked Joseph ( pretty sure thatโs his name he has dreads) and he told me what time the manager would be there and when to come and that the manager could help me. Doesnโt seem like much but he had a great attitude and today was a rough day so I really appreciate his kindness. Even shook my hand, thatโs a good guy right there.

No hot water during non peak hours. Why?!? are you playing with your customers and not wanting to pay to heat the water so your paying gym member can take a 30 second ice cold rinse so you can save on water? Why would you not supply the ability to shower when that is an amenity that your customers generally enjoy at other locations? When will you make this right? Let me know and I'll come back to get rid of this one star review. As far as I'm concerned, your gym is to be avoided. I hate leaving this review and would love to change it, give me the reason to do so. Thank you!

I only use PF to tan and I rarely workout. So I was extremely bummed out by this location because all I did was waste my time by coming here. Iโve never had this happen to me and Iโm no expert but Iโm pretty sure the bulbs have never been changed.

I worked out here two nights in a row. I was appalled by the showers not being cleaned both times. Both nights it was the same thing left behind. There was powder in one, hair left in the drain in another and a razor left in the last one. The handicap shower was clean, but it didnโt work. There was no signage indicating this. Luckily I have the black card, and this isnโt my home gym, because I will never be back to this location.

hydro beds/chairs were too. The tanning rooms were so very clean, very impressed. I had to let the ladies at the desk how nice their PF is. Will be back

I wish I could give it 0 stars. I used to love this planet fitness. I ended up needing to cancel because I moved. When I tried, I was told multiple times I could only cancel in person but the manager wasn't there. The last time I went, I was told she was at Dollar General. The lady at the front desk let me leave my name and number to cancel (which to me sounds like another time I was told I couldn't just cancel online). When the manager called she told me "they do not normally do this in person but since you were already here I'll let you this time" (I thought it didn't have to be in person?). She was very rude to me and told me she was there every day I came in. If this is true, why was I told she was at Dollar General? I was frustrated because when I canceled (after many attempts) I apparently did it 2 days too late. Had I known I could cancel online, I would have done this awhile ago. I would understand the policy if I had not made multiple attempts to cancel in person but the manager was not there. Maybe the employees should be more transparent about how to cancel and the manager should show up for her shifts.

Specifically this location is the first gym Iโve ever felt completely comfortable in outside of boxing. I wish I checked his name but the manager is so ridiculously sweet and welcoming every time i come in. Heโs super helpful and really so is the entire staff.. If u are having any type of anxiety about being in the gym i would def recommend. Definitely my safe place

I have been a member since this gym opened and it would be nice if they maintained the tanning beds. That is the only reason I joined so I could use the tanning beds. It takes months to get the bulbs changed even when they are burned out.

I travel all 50 states for work so me having a black card membership is necessary, from all my visits to every state and multiple planetfitness location visits i have never jad an issue with showering till i visit this location. Its 10min after 4pm which is after work hours therefore a shower would be the ideal after a tense workout and long day but this location thought it was a necessary ideal to have the hot water fixed and all showers out of order, this never happened before at no planetfitness location because if it did im sure this issue would get resolved in the A.M not the P.M. What i big inconvenience next time put a sign up stating the showers are down.

Besides having a friendly and helpful staff,the facilities are always clean and there are plenty of workout stations/equipment to go around. Western Ave has peak crowd times like most gyms but there is generally plenty of room to move around and the environment is judgement-free. I would recommend them to anyone.
