Traved for work. Gym has 3 half racks attached to deadline platforms. Didn't know if wad trying to be a real gym. Surprisingly i was able to deadlift. DB only go to 75.

Clean gym, good amount of normal machines. Guy was at the front counter was nice, greeted everyone & said bye.

I like the place but they really need to turn down the air conditioner. It is freezing cold in their and those huge fans dont help. Very uncomfortable for me. Yesterday, five minutes after walking through the door I had to leave...couldnt take the cold air. Otherwise the place is nice.

“Mediocre Experience – Needs Improvement”
The facility was just okay overall. Cleanliness could definitely be better, and the dumbbell rack was lacking in variety—there weren’t many weight options available. It also seemed normal to some patrons to grab multiple sets of dumbbells at once, which made access more difficult for others. A few pieces of equipment felt unstable or wobbly, which was a concern. With some maintenance and better organization, this place could be much improved.

I have used Planet Fitnesses all around Tn. I even used this location, as it was close to my old home, as my home location. As in they got the sign up bonus. Yet today was the first time I was asked for an ID. Okay that I understand. But then they insisted on taking my picture. Would not allow me to use the membership I had purchased. Through them. So, no I would not recommend this location

Trucker here: after reading the previous reviews I thought this place would be a dump but this place was clean as heck lol I was there for 3 hours and I swear I saw at least one employee cleaning SOMETHING the entire time I was there. Saw other reviews complaining about customer service lol if your at a gym looking for customer service then you’ve come to the wrong place. You need to be worrying more about your workouts than someone kissing your behind. To my truckers call in to see where they want you to park. If they want you to park in the front the only way you can get there is to come in through the back. Tractor and trailer CANNOT fit if you try to come in through the front be warned.

Pre COVID19 I used this facility. Post COVID19, I no longer live in the area, and I filled out the paperwork to end my membership. Years later, I'm still dealing with monthly membership fees being withdrawn from my bank account. But I'm not alone! My bank told me they have several customers dealing with difficulties ending their membership with Planet Fitness.

Do not subscribe to this place, all the time you find broken car windows, they cannot provide you with enough security so that your car is safe in the parking lot, they have security personnel but they are sitting inside the gym when their job is to check the part from the parking lot.

I would give this location 0 stars if possible. Have a classic membership, was never warned there are franchises that will charge a $5 fee for being "out of network". Literally never had this problem before. The men's showers (only reason I'm here as a nomad) is in very poor condition and has no hooks for your towel or belongings. Never coming to this location again and would recommend you avoid it as well

The morning staff is pleasurable unfortunately the night crew appears to be inattentive. My issue is with the rash of automobile break-in. The manager Nyosha is a beautiful young lady and she definitely explained to me that the car break-ins are out of range for her it's my understanding now that security leaves at 8pm. I kind of wish I would have known this sooner but needless to say the village is broken and until we get all hands on deck this will be a continuous problem 💔

I've had a membership since 2019. I went for the first time last weekend. I was so excited until I got thete. Since it was first time I was nervous. I told I needed help with the stationary bike he responded I can't get on it. I asked if would show me how to adjust the seat
He let all the way down and walked off. I went to the desk and how to turn the screen on he said start pedaling it will come. I did and it didn't come, went back the service desk and told him it didn't come on. He said it will after 30 seconds. I wonder why he didn't say that in the first place. It wasn't that they were rude but they were not very helpful. I wanted help familiarizing the gym. I'm not sure if I will go back. If I do sure won't ask questions.

Excellent gym to become more confident in how to use equipment. There is a QRG (bar code) that you can scan with the Planet fitness app that breaks down how to properly use each workout machine. Justin helped me with the leg press machine!!

The facility is clean. In particular the shower and restroom area. The staff is respectful and they repair equipment. A Stop button on a treadmill was broken. The very next day I came to workout. The Stop button on the treadmill was repaired.

Even though I terminated my membership on October 11, 2022, I'm still being charged! I actually did cancel my membership two months ago in Wisconsin as well, along with some paperwork, and I am still getting charged for August, September, October, and now for November. I then had to travel back to Memphis to complete the paperwork for my home gym once more. The information that you must provide to your members on the first day.

Who is responsible for these nonsense charges, and how can I get a refund for these charges? And more importantly, is there any way that I can get rid of your membership and not be charged for it? I need to hear your responses and will be waiting for your call.

I have been paying for a membership here for almost a year and hadn’t been coming to the gym here but yesterday I decided to go in for my first visit and I was alarmed at what I saw pulling into the parking lot. Never have I ever seen so much glass in a parking lot. It was very apparent that they have a problem with car break-ins. I drove around the parking lot and counted several piles of broken glass and I almost left but I got up the nerve to go inside to see if there would be any other reasons to like this location. I suffer from an autoimmune disorder that mimics lupus and other autoimmune disorders at time and I also suffer from fibromyalgia so I planned to use the hydromassage to relieve my aches. It was one of my main reasons for getting my membership with them. When I got inside and asked about hydromassage I was promptly told it was not working at the moment. I went and did a quick workout and decided that I would not be returning so I cancelled my membership. I have been flushing away my money paying for a membership I wasn’t using and this location gave me no reason to continue to come back. I will continue working out at YMCA where the parking lot is free of trash and all the amenities are available to me that came with my membership.

Seems like someone was bitter and had a personal agenda in last post to write such a long detailed book. Reviews should be short and to the point whether good or bad. I have been a member at this location for years. I am canceling my membership. There has been a rash of car break-ins. As if the car break-ins isn’t enough, PF just leaves the broken glass in the parking lot for weeks. PF don’t care about making sure my vehicle is safe and don’t care about the esthetics of the community leaving their parking lot riddled with glass. I counted 12 piles of glass from broken windows. Three piles of the glass been in the lot for 3 weeks. I can no longer do business with PF. It’s clear PF don’t care about their clients and don’t care to do their part in keeping the community clean……………………………

I was informed today that backpacks/bags are no longer allowed in the workout area. A worker told me that people have been stealing hand weights and dumbbells (!), so bags have to be placed in the lockers.

No way in hell I am leaving my small backpack in the locker room. It's bad enough cars are always getting broken into; now our bags and personal items are next?! Just making it easier for criminals to victimize patrons.

I checked into ATC Fitness regarding their bag policies. Surprise...there isn't one. It's best if I change my membership to a gym with a less ghetto clientele who doesn't steal equipment.

Totally different from what I expect from Planet Fitness. Employees are more interested in their cell phones than welcoming customers. You’d think their necks would be sore from looking at them their whole shift.

Been here all week (main club is out of state) and not one “hello” or “goodbye” when walking past the front door. Pretty sure anyone without a membership could just walk right in.

Employees also park along the fire lane as well. Hopefully emergency personnel are never needed … the front door is blocked by their cars.

My car along with many other vehicles was broken into ! The thieves had time to cut my back rear window out and stole items out my car in BROAD DAYLIGHT ! I can’t blame the staff for that but being on alert of the parking lot isn’t something they’re doing ! Honestly, they need security because the staff is always on their phone and not watching the surroundings! It’s actually a lot more I can say about the inside and the up-keep of the facility and it’s nothing good ! They need to hire patrol security for the parking lot ! I’m canceling my membership ASAP!

So there are a few positives with this location; the equipment for the most part was available and functioning. I tried several different times of the day, typical busy times, yes you can check the crowd meter on the app. Staff for the most part is nice, there's the normal one or two that are on their phone and won't acknowledge anyone, but whatever. Onto the fun stuff.
Picture one shows where employees park. Right in the fire lane, curb side, who cares right? Yes, this is a petty issue, but when you see it every single day, it becomes an issue of "why cant they just be adults and use the parking lot like everyone else?"
Photo 2 is the maintenance staff giving personal training lessons. Again not necessarily affecting me directly, but being a trainer myself and a bit of common sense would suggest liability/ethics issues here. And finally, photo 3 is a super gym regular and the staff trainer (who should have been doing what the maintenance guy was). If you see these two together, your ears have no chance. For some reason, they need everyone in the gym to hear their conversation. Could very clearly hear them over my earbuds, and over 50 feet away from them. The good thing is there is some humor in it - my workouts are generally 2.5 hours long; the gym goer with the belt on would be there before me and stay longer than i would, i've never seen him do an exercise. Imagine being in the gym for 4 hours or however long he's there, and not doing one lift. and wearing a weight belt, just to talk at an unhumanly loud level. how shredded would this guy be if he just spent half as much time working out as he does blasting everyones ears!

Excellent place, the bathrooms and changing areas and the whole gym is very, very clean. And the showers are excellent. This is one of the smallest Planet Fitness gyms I have been to in around the USA (And I have been to alot)... but it is one of my top 3 Cleanest gym and men & Women locker àreas that I have ever seen. Good Work by the crew and the Manager. Awesome, no jokes.👍🏾💯😁

I've been going here on and off since they first opened. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because instead of the people at the front desk always being on their phones, or sitting down, they could make it a point to be friendly and greet customers as the enter/exit. Some of them do, but most don't. I know this location is in the hood, but let's up our customer service game. I appreciate they're cleaning up more and the bathrooms are a lot cleaner too, keep up the great job!!

I enjoy coming to Planet Fitness. My trainer familiarized me with the machines by telling me where they are and how to work them. Darius cast down with me to discuss a daily routine for my body type. He also listened to what I wanted to get out of my workout and implemented it into my routine. It’s also ALWAYS clean and in step with Covid guidelines. I noticed also that the trainer would go to people if he sees them using the equipment wrong to assist. Planet Fitness is my gym of choice.

I waited for 20 minutes for the shower to get hot, which it never did. 😓

There was no way I could contact a manager, as I was standing in the shower room naked. As I was leaving, I spoke with the young man at the front desk, who told me the hour water had not worked "for two days". He said he had contacted the manager the day prior.
