Staff is nice but everytime I come to workout something is wrong with the sanitizer bottles and the paper towels are out in some dispensers. Meanwhile the staff is just chit chatting joking around while people who pay to workout here are searching the gym for working sanitizer bottles and paper towels and getting a workout done. In town for a quick visit and wanted to get a workout in. I have a classic membership which allows me access to my home gym. In the event that I visit another club, I would have to pay a $5 fee. (Literally you can google it and it will say that classic members pay $5 while visiting gyms that are not their gym). That’s how it’s been for the 8 years that I’ve had the membership. I’ve used other PF clubs and have paid the fee or have been told that I could workout as a courtesy for that day. Today I traveled 6 miles from where I was staying in town to visited the 1021 Murfreesboro Pk Planet Fitness in Nashville, TN. I mentioned to lady at front desk that I was in town briefly with classic membership so needed to pay the $5, She would NOT have it. I tried explaining that I’ve done it at numerous gyms etc, she wouldn’t hear it and insisted that it wasn’t a thing, yet I’ve lived it!!! And it IS a thing. Neither would she offer me a courtesy workout or anything. She simply dug her heels in and wasn’t going to have it any other way, and turned me away. It was a very unpleasant experience. Unfortunately, there was a younger gentleman who worked there observing and now he has ‘learned‘ and will apply this incorrect rule to other classic members who visit. I literally, left and traveled 10 miles to another PF club and the staff apologized that the previous gym didn’t apply the $5 policy and therefore allowed me to workout at their club for free. They were surprised that the previous staff seemed so inflexible. So was I. The lady was ‘pleasant’, but very adamant, yet very uninformed. A disappointing experience, not typical for PF.

I did not like this Planet Fitness. The building is cool, but it’s very small inside and dirty outside. The equipment was older and they didn’t have multiple machines so I couldn’t get a full workout on because people were camping on the only machine for that exercise. For example, a guy was on the only chest press machine for over 25 minutes and was not budging. The people who go here just seemed more rude too.

This is the smallest and grossest Planet fitness I have ever been to I use the tanning bed and it smells like dried urine inside of there. The club was depressing small and smell awful customer service at the front desk was slim to none every person that came in there other than myself was told their membership was expired. I was propositioned in the parking lot and asked for money so were all the other guests that came out. The place is a disaster at least if it was nice inside you could deal with the vagrance outside.

The facility is always filthy, the restrooms almost always smell rotten, and equipment is always broken. Cable machine down 2 weeks at this point (their only dual cable machine), the leg press hasn’t had a seat in months, and they had a broken calf machine so many times they just got rid of it…

If it weren’t the closest location for me to workout on lunch, I would never use this site. The local one in MJ is 10x nicer.

I moved to Nashville 8 months ago. Joined Planet Fitness about 4 months and I am flabbergasted by the work ethic of some of these establishments. They are supposed to be opened 24 hours during the week and I have come plenty of times before work and they are close! All the lights are on, TV’s on but doors are locked and there is no employ! I’m definitely going to call corporate and ask for some type of compensation! Trying to find a different PF to go to

A lot of gyms employ people who can come off as intimidating or even aggressive, but Michael was calm, polite, and helpful. So much so that I felt the need to leave a review about the experience!

I’ve been going here for almost a year and it’s the best fit for me. I wanna shout out Sey… always friendly, making this gym feel like home, and he’s remained consistent in that during their management transition. Idk his pay but I bet he could use a raise… for sure deserves it. Also, Sheila, who I just met today and is helping out temporarily just blew my mind. She was on an important phone call, wrapping up new employee onboarding, and still took the time to set my tanning bed… and did it all effectively and with kindness 👏👏👏

Not really a review person, but this visit was particularly bad. If I could leave zero stars I would. Staff were rude and show favoritism, apparently you can only go into the black card spa only three times and can only stay at the whole gym for so long. Was literally minding my own business chilling on the couch and got kicked out. Then on my way to grab my things from my locker the male staff that was giving me a hard time walked into the women's locker room on me whilst another girl was in the shower rushing me out the door barely giving me time to grab my things. Got told it was a policy, but it has NEVER been an issue across any planet fitness I have ever been at and I've been going for a while. You would think that by paying 30 dollars a month you wouldn't have someone turn their nose up to you like that. Remember guys, "You belong here" 🤣

I went in to change my Silver Sneakers account from Stuart Florida to Nashville Tennessee. Tangie was most pleasant and very approachable. Great representative for Planet Fitness.

As a retired individual, all my time is my own! I noted a placard on a table indicating a need for employees! I took the time to fill out an online application, and received confirmation that my application has been received. I haven't heard anything back. Maybe too old or not a good fit, I don't know. I haven't been back since. Embarrassed. I thought they had an immediate need, apparently not! I was not concerned about the pay, I thought it would be advantageous to secure a Black Card! I guess I will pay the price instead!

I would NOT recommend this Planet Fitness. The equipment was old, there was a woman in the bathroom boiling eggs in a steamer, and a man in the front lobby who was frantic, seemed homeless and on drugs at the time. I also experienced a young man who would not stop staring at me and trying to get my attention, he even got on a treadmill outside the women's bathroom, and was walking backwards to face me as I emerged. I won't return to this gym. Even on my exit, there was another man on the sidewalk in front of the building who was trying to talk to me as I was getting into my car. The environment didn't feel safe. Also, this gym has older equipment, and was not as clean as others I've visited around Nashville.

I walked into the bathroom. I was about to use the toilet. The guy in charge said he wouldn't let me use it because he had to clean. Said it would take 10. It has been 20 minutes so far.

When I walked into this Planet Fitness there was a full blown mental health crisis taking place. There was a man curled up inside the counter behind the desk screaming. I asked who the manager was and the guy with the manager tag on said he was NOT the manager and that there was no manager. Another gut with a yellow t-shirt on that said trainer on the back was a rude obnoxious a-hole. He and the "not manager" were apparently friends. Lastly, there are only two PF locations out of 5 in the Nashville market with up to date elipticals...and this is not one of them. The ellipticals at this location are the old hardened versions that look like you're on long roller blades locked into a track to hold them together. They are not smooth, but very rough. They don't have the QR codes on them that the newer versions do. All Planet Fitness locations are not the same!

I was in town and had a few hours to kill so I caught an Uber from the airport… since this gym is only 3 miles from the airport… so I came here got a good sweat in and shower… the facility staff was incredibly friendly and helpful… I had lost my phone and they helped me find a way to charge my phone etc… the girl in the evening went above and beyond to help me with all my needs and the gym was friendly welcome and inviting… def would recommend!!! Every time I visit this location it's always a small crowd...which is nice.... you can use all the equipment and you have room to workout.... nobody right up under you....

But the bathroom....well the men's shower area is horrendous... it's black mold growing on the shower 🚿 curtains... and they look neglected... men's dirty underwear and shirts left hanging from the walls...I RECOMMEND a bleach bomb...🤣 shower cleaning seems to be a issue at alot of planet fitness locations... this one is the worst I've seen....

This is the second time that staff has been missing from the front desk for more than half the time I've been at the gym. I go late at night, and this makes me feel unsafe. Also, an employee is in the black card area on a phone call near the hydro massage machines not using it. Their talking is really disturbing my relaxation, lol. Overall, most of the employees are pretty friendly, IF they are present. Wouldn't recommend this particular PF to anyone concerned for their safety.

My boyfriend and I came in this morning to get a membership and exercise. The woman at the front (not sure of her name, she was black and had lashes and was wearing hoop earrings and had her nails done) was INCREDIBLY kind and helpful and patient. I have never been to a planet fitness before and she was so great about explaining everything to fit to our budget without judging us. Not sure if she’s a manager or anything but if she’s not she should be promoted to one. She was fantastic and this location is amazing. Thank u Planet Fitness!

95% of the people I see at this planet fitness do not clean the machines after themselves. There is always garbage on the ground and half drank water bottles laying all over the place. By far one of the messiest planet fitness's I've ever been to, not to mention the fact that there's literally a homeless lady living in the ONE fitting room stall.
