Planet Fitness has been a great place for my workouts. The gym is clean, spacious, and well-maintained with plenty of equipment available. I created a new account and after I scanned in the lady demanded me to take a photo without asking politely and had an attitude the whole time, so I went to the rest room and the Arabic manager was preventing me from using the restroom then told me that he will delete my account because I didn't take the photo and told me to never come back and was very rude. It's your typical value gym. They have the basic equipment, but are no longer open 24/7. It's often over crowded and prime hours, and they also have some weird rules (ex: absolutely no trainers). Staff is a mix of enthusiastic go-getters and those who clearly have no interest in being there or helping you.

No barbell, no sauna, or extra amenities. Ample amount of cardio machines that don't even get used that could be replaced with better equipment to decrease wait times. It could be potentially better, but the ample space is being taken up by unused cardio machines. There is always a significant amount of cardio machines that are unused. Please give the members equipment they will use rather than cardio machines taking up space. Also other PF fitness places have better and different machines. Plenty of smith machines, but not even one of them are angled lol. Missing metal handles and takes forever to repair simple machine.

Facility and Equipment wise it has everything needed and necessary to achieve any fitness or workout goals you could set for yourself. The only issue I have while there, and it's not a Planet Fitness issue but a people issue, is that a lot of insecure and low vibrational folks are there. I get it though every one deserves the opportunity to improve themselves ... But you can just tell when people are more focused on what they see in and on others rather than being primarily focused on themselves. Planet Fitness can't really change that but it does reduce the good energy of the atmosphere. Nevertheless, I do enjoy the overall facility and equipment when I choose to utilize this location.

My family and I recently started going to this Planet Fitness. I haven’t explored the entire place yet, but I’ve had great experiences every time so far. They’re open 24 hours and it’s not very busy when we go around 4:30pm.

Pros:
1. The staff here are very friendly. They greet you as you walk in and bid you farewell as you leave.
2. Machines are well maintained and there are plenty of cleaning stations throughout to clean machines. The cleaner evaporates crazy quickly so you have to spray extra.
3. I like how the hip machines and stretching areas are secluded for privacy.
4. I haven’t had to wait for the hydromassage at all. I haven’t tried any of the other spa amenities but the hydromassager is amazing.
5. I love that they have a free summer program for teens!!

Cons:
1. It would be great if there were more of the popular machines, like hip abductor and leg press.

This place greeted my husband and I with a warm pleasant smile and they asked us if we needed anything and they told us to enjoy our workout. They greeted everyone like this that came through the door. But as we finished our workout my husband told me about the water massage, so we both did the water massage and I thought I was on cloud 9 when I finished. The front desk asked was everything okay for the day and my husband and I were so happy with service and workout and we will be coming back. Thank Planet Fitness. 😀

This place is clean, but you're NOT going to be able to use any of the equipment, it's so busy. People (including myself) have to circle the gym hoping that a machine or even a free weight bench opens up. I've tried coming at different times of the day based on my schedule and it's always the same. It really stifles your productivity and can be a waste of time to even come.
I'd suggest finding a different gym with less people. That's my plan.

Open 24/7 but amenities are useless. Walked in today and the entire female bathroom was out of order, meaning not only could I not use the bathroom, but I also did not have access to a locker or other storage. When I asked the employee if there was another bathroom To use, she was immediately rude and told me “it’s not my fault” and actually suggested I use the bathroom of another establishment next door. I was not implying that it was her fault, simply asking about the situation, but the abrasive and rude reaction caught me off guard. I pay over $20/month for this gym. And a bathroom isn’t even available to me? Absurd. But honestly not off par for this place. Many of the machines here are broken and have been for weeks with no sign of being repaired anytime soon. Staff (with exception of the manager) is always rude to me. Clearly on your phone/on the computer is much easier than interacting in a polite way with guests. Go to another planet fitness if you can.

There’s an employee at this location named Jorge. I was trying to use a massage chair and he brought me the coins, put some in mine as well as the one next to it, sits down in the massage chair and tries to chat / flirt. Tells me he’s a massage therapist… tries to find out if I’m single, repeatedly asks my name, compliments my kindle… shows me his phone, and then within probably 1 minute of this, asks for my Instagram. Again, all while we are sitting in massage chairs and I feel trapped. I said “yeah, sorry, this is making me a liiiiitttle uncomfortable. I’m gonna go. Thank you.” and got out of the massage chair while it was still going, leaving him there.

I went to the front desk about it and asked if I could talk with a manager. The employee (a young female) said “Yeah, I know who you’re talking about. We’ve gotten multiple complaints about him.. the thing is, nobody ever does anything about it.” I asked if this happens between employees as well, like if he makes the other employees uncomfortable, and she said “well I’m the only girl here so just me…” which made me furious. She told me I could call the manager when he’s back in tomorrow, and also provided me with an incident report sheet. I took it to my car, filled it out and brought it back (Jorge was not present). The sheet asked for personal information like my home address and phone number which I did not feel comfortable providing given the circumstances.

If you are receiving multiple complaints about an employee harassing female members, that employee should be fired. No ifs / ands / buts. It was completely inappropriate for him to sit next to me in the massage chair and flirt with me & ask for my personal information and I will not return to this location while he is still employed. I feel bad for the female members of this location and the sweet female employee that helped me. This needs to be dealt with.

Beyond this - the facility itself was fine. Ya know, it’s a planet fitness. You get what you get.

I'm a big fan of this planet fitness during the early hours of the morning about 7:00 it starts really picking up and finding anything on the bench it's kind of difficult but again it's a planet fitness. The circuit training area is a hub for disrespectful, inconsiderate people to sit on their phone. Also, a social club gathering. Who goes to the gym to get more stress. Abid the General Manager said he would handle 6 people in the area lounging. He never came and seemed as if he knew planet fitness wouldn't address this issue. Every time I go to the gym, it's a problem with someone sitting and on their phone, the entire circuit. Who wants to argue, I don't. Some people get angry and have guns and think later after they have done something foolish or stupid. You handle the situation by asking the person to keep the cycle going and ignorant people are lawless. The majority of the staff I guess don't get paid enough to care. Nolensville Rd location gets a zero. I am canceling immediately. Tired of the stress. It wouldn't let me give a zero.

It's a place to exercise and it has amenities (especially if you're a Black Club Member). The staff can be helpful and friendly at times. However, sometimes some staff don't greet and they seem too occupied with their phones or other things. The dress code could be more modest. I'm a black card member and I can bring a family member for free. I ckd in and the rude desk person at front said for my 80 yr old mother to be allowed in she had to have a email. I cancelled my membership and they have been charging me random charges for over 7 months. Amounts exceed $200.

Spoke to 5 different people and departments and they all denied the charges. I am now having my credit card flag any further charges as fraud and getting the charges removed.

My Chase Sapphire card provider said they are having a lot of issues like this with Planet Fitness this year.

Do not recommend, a very dishonest and fraudulent company. Zero stars if it were possible.

WiFi is always terrible. Whether there’s a big crowd or almost no one else there, it’s slow enough that it won’t load my PF Check-In code, send an iMessage, or play an unsaved playlist. That’s literally my only complaint about this place, but it sucks to have to turn off WiFi just to sign in.

Pros: Conveniently located. Spacious workout stations. Moderately comfortable and secure rest and changing rooms. Standard, effective equipment.

Cons: Pompous and arrogant team and management. Perhaps, a customer service course with equity and diversity would do some good.
Facility's odor is distracting. Invest in some stationed plug-ins for approaching warmer weather. The team should also Beef up sanitization. Standing and being idle won't clean the facility.
Insects increasing. Bi-weekly inspection and spraying NEED to occur. It's evident there's nesting.

Gym was nice after the renovation. Members have trashed it quickly though, and there's not enough staff to keep it clean. You'll regularly see trash scattered throughout the floor, nobody returns their equipment or weights, and the staff does little to enforce gym policy. There are signs reminding everyone of gym etiquette, but the majority of the members do not abide by these simple guidelines. I'll be going back to my local anytime fitness instead.

I was a member in Planet Fitness today, and seen an interaction between a young man and a Planet Fitness member who came in. I overheard the young guy say he was a manager. The member who came in went to sign in however, the counter was really backed up. There was only one lady up there working. The customer went up to the counter and told the female he was going to go to the bathroom and that he would be back to sign in. But I’m guessing by the interaction they did not like that. Because two men walked him out the front door.

I have not been very happy with this place for a while now. And seeing how they treat their guest, makes me sad. I’m canceling my membership today. and on a side note , I know the young kid who said he was a manager is not a manager.
