My favorite gym! They have it all. So much gym equipment, bathrooms with showers and changing rooms, lockers for your stuff, and free wifi. There's a place to fill up your water bottle. There's a vending machine where you can buy snack bars, drinks, and lotions. They have a spa room too, that includes tanning beds, and massage chairs. (You have to be a black card member for that though).

This is not a bad gym. The employees are great. My problem is the other guest. Nobody has gym etiquette. People hogging machines alternating different machines blocking off access to other gym members. Then people stand around 1 machine having extended conversations. It’s definitely the other members that make the gym hard to wanna go to.

There’s a new manager. His name is James. There is this weird condescending tone when he speaks with me. Selective of tone based on who he is speaking to if you know what I mean. Though, his team member, Ashleigh, was thorough and diligent in the process of assisting with purchase of a membership. Her conflict/resolution skills were displayed she definitely deserves better pay if she has to be with the James guy all day.

This location was nice and clean. Lots of equipment, although they did not have one piece that I was looking for. Not a big deal. I was still able to have a nice workout. They refused to let my black card guest in at the front desk while I was in the gym. Harassed and belittled him about not being able to use the gym when I’m not there… when I was in the gym. The definitely IMPROVED this place by alot! And they didn't even raise the prices for the memberships, there's a hydro beds, tanning and more, my favorite is the Cyro bed which gets SUPER COLD and it's helpful after suffering in this heat all day

Tried to come back to this particular gym after three years on the 17th of April. Had an issue with an employee who didn’t like members wearing either hoodies or facial coverings. When I say facial covering, I don’t mean a ski mask, or a balaclava. I mean a neck gaiter. If the club has rules against either of these pieces of clothing, they need to be posted where everyone can see it so members can adhere to those guidelines. If this is an issue about security or safety, make this known to either the manager or owner. Don’t paint every single person who actually comes there for business as a risk. And although the manager said he would address this issue, I doubt I’ll come back due to the combative attitude the manager exhibited during the phone call I had with him.

I had an incident here a few weeks ago. I’ve called the gym three times in an attempt to resolve it with the manager. To this day, no one has called me back and not one person at the front desk could give me an email address to send my complaint so I’ll just copy that text below:

Subject: Concern Regarding Disrespectful and Racially Targeted Behavior at Your Facility

To Whom It May Concern:

I’m writing to express deep concern about an incident that occurred at your location involving my wife and me. We have been loyal Planet Fitness members for over five years and have visited your gym regularly without issue. Typically, we scan in, are greeted courteously, and proceed with our workout without any additional steps required.

However, on our most recent visit, after scanning in as usual, we were abruptly stopped by an employee named Jeremy Moon, who informed us that we needed to sign in the second person via the app. These instructions were new and confusing—especially since we are both already in the system with photos on file. I asked Jeremy to simply sign her in since both our profiles are active and on record, but he insisted that I send her a link via the app, which made little sense to us given our long history as members.

What escalated the situation into something more serious and distressing was Jeremy’s behavior following that exchange. Despite my wife saying she would take care of it, Jeremy followed her closely—so closely that he was arm-to-arm with her—into the stretch area. His behavior was intrusive, inappropriate, and unnecessary. He blocked her path, hovered over her, and prevented her from moving freely around the gym.

To make matters worse, another gym member—who was completely uninvolved—felt the need to interject, adding to our discomfort and confusion. As I attempted to clean off my machine so I could assist with the app process, Jeremy continued to physically block my wife’s movement.

The entire experience felt racially charged, deeply inappropriate, and indicative of a larger issue with staff training and sensitivity. Black people have been policed and profiled in public spaces for generations, and this incident was yet another example of that. My wife left the gym in tears. We immediately canceled our membership and joined Crunch Fitness down the street.

We are no longer members, so we are not seeking a refund or any financial resolution. However, we are demanding accountability. Jeremy’s behavior needs to be addressed. At minimum, this situation warrants a serious conversation, additional training, and potentially a write-up or disciplinary action. Your team should all be aligned on your processes to avoid subjecting members—especially members of color—to harmful and targeted interactions like the one we experienced.

Please follow up with me regarding how this matter will be addressed. It’s important for your company to understand the damage that can be caused by even one employee acting inappropriately.

ZERO HOT WATER....and only about 6 minutes on any other day. There have been stops installed in the showers to prevent you from turning the knob beyond luke warm water and it only lasts for 6 mins at best before turning icy. I go to the gym before work and as a Marine, I have extremely low expectations for any Planet Fitness or any other gym for that matter, however, hot water is a must. I can improvise anything but that and I don't think that is a huge ask. For the record, I travel all over the US for work and this is the ONLY PF in 8 years that this has ever been a problem at. I advised Fatima and some other staff members and their level of disinterest was disappointing, but not surprising. One lady said they just fixed it. I've been coming for 2 weeks now....ummm no it has NOT been. Crack open the piggy bank and at least give your members a hot shower.

Me and my husband went to the gym today (we have a black card so we can use the message chairs and bed) after we were done working out we went to ask for coins for the chairs, and they told us the chairs aren’t working because the manger has the keys with him at home, I then asked them to use the beds and they said only one was working and the others aren’t even though there was no one using them. I went in in August of 2024 to change my membership status from black card to the normal $15/month membership and when I did so, the girl at the front desk didn’t even understand what I was saying when I expressed I pay my membership with a bank account.

I was traveling for work and returned in October of 2024 to find out that she has CANCELLED my membership all together.

When I addressed this with the manager, he expressed that he was sorry because he has bad employees and the after I had been a member for three years I should just restart a NEW membership with all the fees involved. Start up AND annual fee.

After I expressed that wasn’t doable for me he said “ok well no worries. Sorry about that.”

Only signed up because it was open at 5am on the weekends and now that they’ve taken that away so it’s just not worth it for those who need the convenience of a 24/7 gym. I’ve had personal items stolen here numerous times within minutes of entry, it reaks of weed half the time, the bathrooms are clearly never taken care of, and 1 of the younger trainers has been so rude to me on numerous occasions that I would just rather take my business elsewhere. It’s sad because every other location I’ve been to is fantastic while this location lacks in everything but the treadmills.

I joined this gym because it was close to where I was working and I'm a traveling construction worker. I'm now working in an area for the next couple years where there is no planet fitness close to me. I saw where I was charged the $49 yearly fee and the same day it hit my account I call and cancel my membership. I requested that the $49 Phoebe returned because I am not going to be utilizing the membership and therefore they had no right to charge me $49. I was told since they already charged my account but they're not going to give me my money back and basically screw you. So I'm just letting everybody know that this is a bait and switch and they're only out to get your money. Not only that it's not the cleanest place in the world and they are not honest people. There's absolutely no reason why they shouldn't reverse my money. I haven't utilized their gym in over 6 months and I'm not going to be able to utilize it nor will I utilize it ever again.

The manager at this location with the pink hair and all the piercings in her face is very rude and disrespectful I tried to utilize the tanning bed the first time I stepped in it it would not turn on so I asked another girl with dark hair and piercings to reset it she reset it for me I get in the bed it runs for 1 minute and then it shuts off I explained to them again that the bed was not working the manager was very condescending and smirked in my face when I was explaining to her the issue in a calm manner. I don't usually have any issues here. People rarely wipe anything down to be prepared to wipe equipment before and after. Nice equipment that was recently replaced with even nicer stuff. I just wish the women's locker room didn't perpetually reek of raw sewage. It's been like this for months and now I don't bother even going in there. Nice and big! Lots of equipment to include stationary bikes, Smith machines, benches, multiexercise machines. Nice PF360 area. Bathrooms were clean and bright with clean urinals and overall area. Staff were very polite and professional. Some of the supine/recumbent bikes seats were loose and wobbled during use. Also, the bikes were dusty and should be cleaned so as to not allow the bikes to get clogged with dirt. The place looks great after the remodel. I usually have a great experience at this location. However, tonight I had a horrible experience. I walked in with my daughters who so happen to be teenagers who have come in with me previously. I don’t usually allow them to use any of the equipment but I do let them get the aquatic massages. I usually have no issues with this. When we came in I checked in per usual. Tequasha Sullivan was at the front desk. She didn’t great us. However, she did loudly say “YOU DO KNOW THEY HAVE TO BE 13 TO BE IN HERE”! I said okay and told her I wanted to use the massage machines. T. Sullivan did grant the access after she raised a fuss. I proceeded to the massage room with my girls. When we were done I went back to the desk and asked T. Sullivan for her name. Initially she said to me in a very rude manner “What do you need my name for”? I explained to her that I wanted her name because she never bothered asking me how old my girls were. I also explained to her what the Benjamin Button syndrome was. She then stated that neither one of my girls were 13 and also told me I could tell who I wanted to tell. I never intended to “tell” on her. I just wanted to let her know that her behavior was offensive and bothersome to my daughters. She didn’t care at all and just kept giving me attitude and rolling her eyes. Which was very rude. One of my daughters was so upset that she asked me what are 13 year olds supposed to look like. This behavior is unacceptable and needs to be stopped because she’s the only person in this location who’s always rude.
I am very well aware of the age policy. There seemed to be a miscommunication or misunderstanding of what I typed. This review had nothing to do with me not being knowledgeable of the age requirements nor did I need to be referred to any policy. The review was about the rudeness and the lack of communication of the worker who failed to ask my daughter’s age rather than just telling me how old my daughters were.

The place itself is in good shape and when staff are there they’re helpful. However, the desk is often left unattended for half hours or more at a time. It makes it difficult to actually utilize the black card benefits I’m paying for if there is no one there to activate them on a daily basis. place is not clean every time I go here. showers have nasty hair all in it..changing rooms have stuff splattered all on the walls and not wiped off.bathrooms always smell super pissy.thry need to do better

Rude staff. Was treated like a homeless person camping out because I was tanning in the tanning room and took longer because I was on the phone with my mother. Interrupted me mid conversation with an attitude and before I could explain why I was in there longer than normal she walked away. So she obviously didn't care what I had to say. Made me feel like she was trying to intimidate me. I'm paying this gym $25 a month, I could just take my money elsewhere and join another location. Your customers pay you their money, be respectful to your members or you'll lose them. Without us, you wouldn't be getting paid. So much for "you belong here".

From the outside, looks like it would be one of the premier Planet Fitness locations, but not impressed, I travel and frequent several Planet Fitness across the country, these showers make me feel like I'm in jail, dirty, showerheads are trash to begin with, and they are broken, not to mention I have to set my shampoo and conditioner directly on the floor. Do better.

Additional: why are your hydro massages only 7 minutes when everywhere else is 10?
