So many people have bad things to say about PF. Let me start with Portland, TN. This is my home location and proud of that. The staff are always friendly and helpful no matter how long you have been a member. They take pride in cleanliness.
It's the members who think their sweat left behind on the equipment makes other users stronger. This location is very recommended for its professionalism and cleanliness.

Staff is friendly and the gym is clean. I often see staff members cleaning equipment or refilling supplies at the cleaning stations. Rarely see broken equipment, and if I do, it seems to be repaired quickly. The selection of equipment is somewhat limited due to floor space (smaller location) and how PF tends to have a large percentage of floor space dedicated to cardio. For me, mornings are the best time to workout at this location if I want to have the best chance at an unimpeded workout. Like other reviewers have stated, there are a few people who are on their phones tying up equipment. Lol...I guess those people have zero situational awareness. Late afternoons can get busy and early evenings are slammed. Lots of dudes, so if you are a single lady, I guess that ratio works in your favor.

Way to many kids just being obnoxious, wearing flip flops, slamming weights and acting like children. Not to mention the amount of people in groups standing around all on their phones or talking on their phones. The front desk people are also on their phones. Please make it more expensive so these undesirables go away

Best place to work out...since gold's gym closed. Apart from the negative reviews, this place has an adequate amount of machines. U have to go at a time where it's not too busy to keep from having to wait. Ur supposed to take small breaks between workouts anyway. Guess some ppl go there to be in a hurry. Ur health and fitness is nothing to rush. I watched several ppl over doing their work outs, causing them to take premature breaks. Life isn't a rush hour lol. Got a good shoulder workout with four different machine variations

Was parked here at 10:30 pm about to go into the gym when a cop knocked on my door and told me to leave. He said the owner of the parking lot doesn't want people parked here after 10:00........ At a 24 hour gym.....a gym that I pay a monthly fee for, I can't access after 10:00? I'm considering cancelling my membership, I'll join anytime fitness.

I wish they offered a scale or BMI reader to track weight loss, but they don't due to the "judgement free zone." They are also no longer open 24hr on weekends.... makes it where we can't visit Friday, Saturday, and sunday due to our work schedule.

Always very clean and the staff has always been nice. They offer a wide variety of exercise equipment, free weights, massage chairs, tanning beds, lockers, and showers. Their prices are great compared to other gyms. Right now, it's either $10 a month for 1 location and exercise equipment, or $25 a month for any Planet Fitness and additional services, like access to massage chairs, tanning beds, and disounts on snacks and drinks. I believe with the $25 membership you can bring a guest for free. There is a yearly fee, which is $60, right now. Also, my high schooler was able to go during the summer for free.

I love working out here!! I’ve made some awesome friends!! And built incredible relationships with some of the ladies on staff!! And speaking of the staff, they’re wonderful! Always smiling and greeting you as soon as you step foot in the door!! Plus, they’re eager to help you, when you have a workout question, machine, and training!! The entire gym is so clean!! A huge, huge deal to me!! Plus, they’re always cleaning! Love that! The environment is great judgement free. The place is very organized, cleaned, and maintained. They probably aren't open 24/7 cause they need more employees like most places, quit judging so harshly.
