Rising Point Fitness is all I could ask for out of a gym. There’s strong community, intentional coaching, and encouragement toward growth — whatever that may look like. Every class I know I can scale workouts to meet the needs of my body that day with encouragement and support from the coaches and community members. As a member the last 9 months, I’ve become physically stronger, mentally resilient, and made lifelong friends. I recommend this gym to anyone!

Rising Point is the gym I had been looking for. From day 1 I knew I had found my home gym. The coaches are fantastic. They always push you and encourage you to step outside your comfort zone and the members are just as amazing. All so supportive and encouraging. It’s just an all around great environment. Jake has done a great job building and growing such an amazing gym!

The culture & community here is amazing. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and focus on safety and good technique. The other members are great, and all support one another and push each other. Of all the gyms I've worked out at over the years, this one is miles above them all. So happy I found this place!

I am visiting Chattanooga for a few weeks and I am exercising at Rising Point Fitness. The coaches are very friendly and accommodating of a drop-in, they are treating me like a member. The members of the gym are super-friendly. I don't know of another gym where I have felt so welcome (even my own box at home). I look forward to coming back to Chattanooga and exercising at Rising Point Fitness in the future.

I came across Rising Point Fitness about 6 months ago and absolutely love it! My fitness journey has taken a turn for the best since then. The coaches take time to explain the workouts and adjust them to fit your needs. No matter which class I go to there are always wonderful people to workout with!

5 STARS! I really enjoy being a member here, it is a very safe, clean, inclusive and welcoming environment. I have never worked out with weights before coming here so naturally I was nervous. But Jake made me feel right at home and showed me the ropes. The class is fun and informative. I am physically challenged every time I attend. Im feeling stronger! I leave here sweating and smiling! Best hour of my day! Staff are great, members are great too!

I’ve tried many gyms and nothing compares to Rising Point Fitness! I don’t know what it is about this place, but everyone feels like family. The people are kind & encouraging and the trainers always go above & beyond. Not only did they help me hit many fitness goals, they were also able to coach me through both pregnancy & postpartum while ensuring I always got in a great (& safe) workout.

Rising Point provides everything I've been looking for in a gym! I have felt comfortable at Rising Point from day 1 as it is welcoming to individuals of all different levels of experience. I have found some of my best friends at this gym while pushing myself to be the best version I can be both physically and mentally. The coaches are phenomenal and very knowledgeable. They push us to do our best but are also our friends "outside" of the gym.

Rising Point has the absolute best gym culture in Chattanooga. I joined Rising Point Fitness a year ago with no Crossfit experience, but have been motivated by the community here to workout consistently for the first time in my life. With no signs of stopping anytime soon! The coaches are amazing and are very supportive. The other members make the community here so fun and relaxed. The workouts are always changing which makes the routine exciting. The facility and equipment are always super clean. If you are on the fence about going, just come try Rising Point out. Cannot recommend it enough.

THE BEST GROUP OF PEOPLE IN THE CITY!!!! Seriously this gym is amazing. Jake has done a phenomenal job of building of community that builds each other up and genuinely wants to see each person succeed. RPF has helped me achieve the goals I have set for myself and continues to push me to be better in each workout. So I’ll start by saying I’ve long been a skeptic of CrossFit, but my close friend has been a member since Jan ‘22 and I went to observe her during Labor Day Throwdown (in house competition). At no point was I pressured to participate, but I was also so kindly invited to join in if I desired or just make myself at home. There were multiple small children hanging out (they even have a gated children’s area with toys, books, etc) who were not in the way, but clearly enjoyed mimicking their parents and cheering anyone on. It was a true community based gym for all stages of life, acceptance of all types of bodies, and encouragement not only in the gym, but in life. Cannot recommend enough for a CrossFit Community!

Edit: 8 months later and it's still 5 stars! I've been able to go consistently about 3 to 4 times a week and get awesome coaching (shout-out to Ben and Jake). The coaches pay attention to your form and time and help you scale appropriately so you get a great workout for your fitness level. The app makes is so easy to see what the workout is going to be for the next few days and figure out when I can get scheduled for a class or go to open gym on my lunch break. I can't say enough how much my overall physical and mental health have improved by going to this gym.

This is one of the most friendly gyms I have ever been to. Everyone was so welcoming and encouraging. The trainers made sure each person knew what they were doing and did it correctly. They would encourage, but not push your limits. Experienced lots of new workouts that challenged me. Each day was something different to me. Felt like I saw results rather quickly. Thank you!

CrossFit...
A lot of people think it's all about heavy lifting. That's definitely not true. It's so much more than that. I understand why a lot of posts of CrossFit are of the heavy barbell lifts. It can be such a rush to lift heavy and get a personal record (PR), but it's most definitely not what CrossFit's all about. There's so much endurance and strength that is built from these short but incredibly effective (and fun) workouts if you give as much effort as possible, and there's most definitely a place in this sport for everyone and at any level, because everything can be scaled to fit a person's needs. That's what's so amazing about it. And this particular gym, Rising Point Fitness is just the place not only to get started, but also to thrive and to feel your body come alive. Thanks to this awesome gym and to the awesome coaches over the last 3 months, I now have the proper base of strength to safely and effectively lift heavy, and my endurance and flexibility have even greatly improved. Prior to this, I already had 14 years of vigorous training background from gymnastics and also from running, HIIT and training for and completing a half ironman, but this CrossFit gym is unlike anything I've ever done, and in a very good way. It just builds everything, physically and emotionally. After what felt like a slow start to CrossFit, having to get used to the different styles and techniques, I feel like I am finally starting to get the hang of it, and it feels like home.
Most of the time it's our own thoughts that talk us down from our potential. Telling ourselves we can't do it, or it's too much or we aren't strong enough. But we can do so much more, especially when we get out of our heads, and have the right encouragement and advice from others to at least give it a try. That's what you will find at Rising Point Fitness. A new home away from home. A place where you will go from wondering if you can do something to finding you definitely can. A place where you'll become not only physically and emotionally stronger, but you'll also become part of a supportive and caring community. Even if you think you've let your health go too far in the wrong direction or have nothing left to hope for, that's never true. So if you're ready to try fitness for any level that's also fun and very effective, Rising Point Fitness is the place for you!

This gym has helped me be accountable for going to the gym regularly. When I first started I was extremely nervous I had not ever lifted weights in my life, but they have taught me correct form so I don’t hurt myself. The instructors eased me into it and encouraged me to put a little more weight on as I have gotten stronger, they have believed in me even when I didn’t think I could accomplish the the strength and conditioning workouts. I used to have horrible back pain all the time but it has slowly calmed down as I strengthen my back and core muscles. I had stopped running for quite a while because I have had 4 knee surgeries they have always given me trouble, I am slowly getting to where they don’t bother me as well, I was able to jog this week in class and wasn’t the last one to finish! I was so proud of my accomplishment! Every class I go to the other people working out around me are so kind and encouraging. I greatly value this gym and so thankful to have the help I need to get my body back in shape!

Was in town for family vacation and my brother-in-law convinced me to try crossfit. I am not a gym person at all and was unsure how it would go. There was no need to worry, the coaches at Rising Point Fitness were amazing. They were so encouraging and professional and explained all the techniques and moves in a non-condescending way that made me feel comfortable and confident. The other members were also super friendly as well. It felt more like a family rather than a "gym." If you are on the fence or unsure, don't be. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed!
