Very let down by our visit. After just one 50-minute session, it was clear this wasn’t the right fit for us. My step daughter received maybe a few minutes of actual instruction, and the rest of the time she was left standing around with no direction. The staff mostly sat down, and the coach barely interacted with the kids at all. As a former cheer coach who recently moved here, I was extremely disappointed to see such little engagement or guidance.

I’ll be taking my daughter to Let It Shine like the rest of my friends recommended. I had hoped this gym would be a convenient option since it’s closer, but I don’t mind driving the extra 20 minutes for a place that actually invests in the kids. I can’t recommend this facility. It’s simply not worth your time or money.

This gymnastics center is fantastic! Instructors here are truly skilled.
They have clearly defined levels that cater to everyone, from beginners to more advanced students. It's great to see the variety of equipment and activities offered. My kids love it!

My daughter received maybe 5–10 minutes of attention, and for the rest of the time she was just standing around or trying to do things she had never been taught. At one point, she did a cartwheel without any spotting or supervision — there was no coach nearby, which is a serious safety concern. I do not recommend this place. For the price, we expected a much more professional and responsible approach to working with kids. Don’t waste your valuable time and money here!

I can’t speak highly enough about their tiny ninja class. My son looks forward to it every single week. They always work on different skills and keep it fresh for the students. The coaches are amazing! They are hands-on and so supportive. My son really looks up to them. It’s a great physical activity but I love they also focus on character and sportsmanship and teamwork. So glad we signed up.

I really want to love this place but the staff always seems irritated and unhappy. My son has noticed this too and has mentioned that they're "not nice" sometimes. I love the programs and the facilities are great; I just rarely see smiling faces from their team!

Our kids fell in love with Ninja Warrior class at Shining Light Gymnastics. We love how interactive their coaches were and the time they took to care for their students. Our daughter is now doing tumbling and gymnastics classes. Our kids also attend their summer camp and love the water slide and play outside!

Open play is pretty fun but the birthday parties have really gone down hill over the years we e been coming here. It’s like the staff doesn’t care about kids having fun. Matt Thomason was great when he was here. I wish they’d bring him back, this business would explode. Not sure they’ll make it much longer with the lack luster birthday parties that mostly consist of being told to wait in line while the “coaches” talk to each other and slowly move through the motions.

First impressions are they take care of quality gymnastics for all ages young to teen. One of my sons tried boys gymnastics for teen and my 9 year old tried the Ninja warrior lass. Coaches are friendly and hands on. Boys love it already

I couldn’t recommend any business less. Over the last few years they have been managed so poorly. They don’t answer emails, the phone, or even bother to notify parents if they close down for the day. Last month a bunch of parents showed up for classes and they decided to take a holiday without letting parents know. They close down classes but keep open the parent drop off days so they make money from the days schools are closed and the parents with normal scheduled classes have to make it up on other days. They give you tokens to make up classes but all of them are booked online and you can’t call or email to see if they can get in other classes because they don’t respond. They need new management or ownership I am not sure what but there are better gymnastics places on Franklin. I suggest you use them!

This place is so awesome with the kids. My son does gymnastics and ninja warrior there. They are really great. They have helped him get over his fear of heights. It is a very family friendly environment. We just had his birthday party there and all the kids had a blast. Nice and clean too. I highly recommend it.

Plenty of parking.
Unless you are familiar with the area you may have to input address on GPS. Establishment is located towards the rear of cul de sac. Once you get close it is easy to see the business sign.
Clean inside and out.
It literally has a huge open area with different obstacles, bars, beams, and other types of equipment that are used to practice/train gymnastics maneuvers.
The othe side of the gym has offices/meeting rooms downstairs and upstairs.
Visited this place for a child's birthday party. Well organized. Staff was very attentive to kids. They were guided through a series of obstacles. Childrens enjoyed it.
We brought our own pizza, cupcakes, and drinks for the party
Prices are reasonable.

We did a birthday party for our 9 year old here. The kids loved the warped wall like American Ninja warrior. The kids enjoyed the zip line as well. The adults tried the balance beams and had fun. Overall we paid 210 for up to 25 kids with 1 hour on the equipment then 30 mins eating. We brought our own pizza and drinks and it worked out well. Friendly folks monitored the kids and kept everyone safe.

We’ve had a great experience at Shining Light! Our daughter has been in one of the pre-rec classes for about a year now, and we’ve seen substantial improvement. I can tell a huge difference in her athletic abilities and overall coordination.

What I love most about Shining Light is the staff. Everyone is so helpful and friendly, and they make newcomers feel welcome! The coaches are able to give our children the individual attention they need, which is what I really looked for in a gym. Coach Donna is wonderful, the children just love her! I can’t sing her praises enough!

The new gym just opened off of Parkfield Loop North and it is incredible! One of the best things about the new gym is the large seating/observation area upstairs. This allows parents to see the entire gym floor from above, and there’s ample seating.

The gym also offers lots of camps for kids! There are camps for almost all school holidays, and the camps are very reasonably priced.

We’ve been so happy with our experience at Shining Light. The tuition is affordable and our daughter loves it. I highly recommend this gym to anyone in the area!

After hearing many others' satisfaction, we decided to enroll our two daughters ages 5 & 8. I enjoy how fast paced the classes move and the encouragement provided along with proper form. They have a multitude of class times that made it easy to fit into our already busy life.
