We have been going from the age of 11months-17months, and I've never regretted it. My daughter cried the first time she did a forward roll, but now? Now she has the confidence to try and roll on her own, get up on the balance beam by herself, and gets so excited to go see "Hedder." All of the ladies have been sweet and welcoming, but there is something special about Ms. Heather. She is relatable as a mother and a friend to your kiddos, no matter the age or skill level. When we first started I was concerned that my daughter would be antisocial as an only child, but she is now more extroverted than I am. Even though some of the skills or classes can be a little repetitive, the social aspect along with confidence building exercises, make it completely worth doing. This is a great program and it has been so much fun to see all of the children's personalities start to blossom. Management has obviously taken great care in the hiring process as each teacher is professional, sweet and knowledgeable, on top of keeping the facility clean, organized and running smoothly.

My daughter went here for a couple of years, until she turned three. She didn’t necessarily gain a lot of skills, but she had a ton of fun playing each week! I’d give them 5 stars, except when it came time for us to move on, it has taken a ridiculous amount of effort to discontinue. I have notified them 4 times we need to stop, including a detailed form about why, and I still got charged again over a month later.

My review is NOT about the amazing teachers at the Little Gym. My daughter had a great time there for more than a year and I can see how caring the multitude of instructors she had over this time.

It is however about unfair policies this organization has and a lack of communication that could result in you having to pay for weeks of classes you did not intend. The story is as follows. We had to cancel our daughter's enrollment. When I told them of our intention to stop classes immediately they told me they would send me an email where I would sign a form. I did so and then no word. I assumed everything is set and we did not go to any classes in May or on. Two months later I realize I was charged mid-May and mid-June. I called them to clear this and get the refunds for these two months. They respond by saying they will refund June but not May as they have this policy that requires a whole month of notice before cancellation. As I sent the cancellation form on April 30th and my next payment was on May 13th that payment would go through and not canceled. You need two-weeks notice to quit most jobs but they require a month for cancellation. This results in 6 weeks worth of classes we paid and get nothing for. When I asked why is this policy in place the only thing that I was able to get back was "There is nothing I can do it comes from upstairs." A rule that does not have an articulable reason that hurts your customer is designed to hurt your customer.

Following my complaint they told me they called and left a voice mail on May 2nd. I do not use voice mail so I cannot check if this is true (likely true). Is it so difficult to make a 2nd call or send an email? If I did not realize they did not do the cancellation and call them in June apparently they would happily keep charging my account.

Later when they offered to make up for the classes we already paid for (thank you I guess) I told them as I do not trust them as a customer and I cannot trust them with my children anymore .

TLDR - Good gym with good teachers. Financial policy that can hurt you so be 100% aware of them. Say you want to try it out for only one month. IMMEDIATELY let them know that you want to cancel at the end of the month or you will get a 2nd month you pay that you did not intend. Even that could not work as you will need to spend a few minutes to communicate and technically that would result in 29.99 days of notice.

My son just turned 2 and has been going to The Little Gym since he was 10 months old. He absolutely loves it. It's his favorite activity and place to go. He has a ton of energy so we've found it helpful, but I also think it has helped him with balance and strength too. I highly recommend it. It's really fun to see how much he enjoys it. The staff is great. My son gets so excited about being there that he doesn't care for the structured activities, but I'm ok with that. He learns plenty of other skills and it's a chance to be with kids his age. We did his 2nd birthday party there and they did a nice job. The only downside with the birthday is that they only give you 15 minutes of set up time which I found challenging, but outside of that it would have been perfect. I plan to continue our membership and classes.

I am sitting at my computer crying big huge tears as I type this, but these are tears of JOY. I cannot begin to find the correct words to express my gratitude towards the instructors at the Little Gym in Farragut or my happiness that we can go there (my son and I or my son and his babysitter).
My son turned 20 months old yesterday and has Down Syndrome, since my husband I were told we were carrying a child with DS my heart has ached for my child, I began even then worrying about him fitting in or being accepted into everyday activities and groups.
After Lyon was born, most of that worry went away, as I have learned that having a child with Down Syndrome is actually an amazing journey and blessing, but there are days those worries still pop up...like on days we try new things with new people in new places. His first class at Little Gym, I was scared to death, but oh no Lyon, he was not, nor were the teachers or staff, they didn't care if Lyon was different or had extra cute almond shaped eyes, they just saw Lyon.
Lyon is now in his second month of classes at The Little Gym, and it has been amazing to watch him blossom. Lyon is learning right along with all the other classmates, and his teachers are fantastic, even welcoming his grandmother when she wanted to take class with him one day. Absolutely love The Little Gym! My 16 month old has so much fun in his weekly class. Miss Heather is absolutely amazing with the kids and is extremely knowledgeable about incorporating different activities appropriate for the age group and milestones. She also is great about changing up the classes weekly to keep the kids interested as well as very informative to the parents as to AAP milestones and at home activities that can be done. My son doesn’t go to daycare so being involved with other kids has taught him socialization, how to share, follow directions, etc. The gym is always so clean and the staff so friendly. My toddler loves The Little Gym! We take regular classes and had a birthday party here. Both are wonderful! Our weekly classes give him the perfect opportunity to socialize with other kids, learn to take turns, work on skills taught by the instructors, etc. I love that he has the freedom to do his thing but also there’s some structure. The teachers are fantastic and engaging. Everything is so clean! They are constantly changing up the environment to keep things fresh and fun for the kiddos. The birthday party we had here was also fantastic. They set up your party room and decorations for you, set up your selected activities in the gym, and clean up as well. It was a mom’s dream to be mostly hands off and just enjoy my sweet boy’s party.

Where do I even begin? This place is more than just a gym for children, it is a home away from home for us. Our daughter, now 5, started when she was barely 18 months old. While at The Little Gym Farragut, we have watched her grow and flourish into a vibrant, confident, brave little girl and The Little Gym is a big part of all of that. Ms. Katie (the manager and many times her instructor) has watched her grow from a shy tiny tot to a sassy 5 year old trying to master her handstands and cartwheels. Ms. Heather was one of her first teachers and this past year, helped her learn even more as her preschool teacher. Their Wonderkids program is like none other. Ms. Heather and Ms. Leslie are incredible. As mother's themselves, they create a safe, inviting environment for children to learn and play. It is a program that is fun and engaging, encouraging and patient. I was hesitant to send our daughter anywhere, but I knew she would be loved at The Little Gym, so we enrolled her in Wonderkids and never looked back. Every member of the staff is so loving, so encouraging, so positive. Every time we walk in the door, she is greeted with a smile and a happy "Hi (her name)!" Last year, I had a sudden health issue and these women prayed for me, hugged me, supported me, cried with me, and offered to help me in anyway they could. The staff is like nothing you'll find anywhere else, not even at another Little Gym. This place is special. My daughter has met some of her closest friends here and in turn I have found mom friends that I wouldn't trade for anything. This place has enriched our lives and we plan to stay until we have to leave. Like I said, they are more than just a gym for children, they are family for us and we are so thankful and blessed that we tried them out all those years ago. If you're on the fence, don't be, sign up. Take that free trial class, and then get ready to watch your child grow by leaps and bounds in every possible way. We've been taking our daughter since she was 5 months. She is now 2 years old. She still loves coming and hers excited each week. For the most she's been with Miss Katie, but has had Miss Heather and both I couldn't speak more highly of! They're amazing and all the staff there. Save your money on the summer camp. The counselors are teenagers who are disengaged and counting the minutes until they leave. Buy beware that the morning camp spends very little (if any) time in the gym. For $300 my child colored and painted a rock. What a waste. 0/10. Do not recommend.

Went to The Little Gym today for a classmate of my son's birthday. The facility was amazing, but the staff were even better. The two women who led the group were incredibly patient and knew exactly how to work with a group of kids of different ages.

The little gym is our children's home away from home! I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful place and their amazing staff. We have done classes, birthdays, and the Wonderkids preK program and can't recommend it high enough. They have helped both of our kids grow not just in the gymnastics skills, but to become wonderful little people. Yes, it is amazing to have a place with a lot of padding for our kids to get their energy out. But for our family, I think the biggest benefit, and what I would recommend most about the little gym, is how they have helped our kids develop socially and emotionally. All those skills that are so challenging for little ones - taking turns, listening to your instructor, being patient when you can't get something the first time - are handled with such grace and kindness. The little gym is a safe place for your kids to learn and succeed and fail and try again and celebrate all the joys that come with being a rambunctious physical little person with rings to swing on and blocks to jump off of.

My daughter and I just got back in from one of the free classes they offered and it wasn’t a good experience. I felt lost and alone as all the other parents knew what to do and what to expect. I felt like I was brushed off and felt maybe it was because of my skin color but I definitely won’t be returning. The lady at the front desk was not friendly to me at all but I noticed everyone else received a warm welcome as well as smiles. I wanted to leave as soon as possible but stayed for my daughter but she was overwhelmed with the class so we did not stay long. My feelings were extremely hurt I felt very devastated driving back home from the class.

This is a great place to take your toddler to work their little muscles and have fun while doing it! I took my 3 year old for the first time today and he loved it immediately! This is not just free form either (although the kids can roam around freely and explore as much as they want). There are 2 instructors that work with the littles ones using unrestricted guided activities within the gym to teach them different skills. The monthly tuition is also very reasonable to which I was surprised as most programs like this for small children can be pricey. I don't live in the Farragut area but because my little one loved it so much and it was so good for him, I'm willing to drive to take him to the classes! I highly recommend this place!

I enrolled my daughter 3 years ago in a dance class and the teacher was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly and made my child feel welcomed. However the owner never acknowledged my child or me. The other staff for the most part were friendly as well. Continued the membership because my daughter enjoyed the parents night out events and had some interest in gymnastics after the first PSN, again the dance teacher was always there to make my child feel welcomed. This instructor left for other interest and they started hiring new staff who have no business working in the public. Enrolled my child in the gymnastics class and it seems the owner is really only interested in the students who can really do gymnastics. She has no interest in teaching or building the confidence of those who are starting out. The current staff on board now have NO people skills or communication skills. I went to an event there last Friday I was never greeted, one person spoke to my child out of the 7 staff members that were standing there. When we walked in most of the staff went inside the gym playing on the bars etc. Other children started coming in and were greeted etc. This particular event they had an ice cream truck so I asked one of the staff if there was an extra fee for the truck or is it included in the cost. She looked at me shrugged her shoulders and said I don’t know I didn’t organize any of this and walked inside where the other staff members where goofing off….. wait WHAT?????? Meanwhile the event starts and because other kids had arrived the staff told THOSE kids they could go on inside the gym. I assured my child to go inside and she basically sits because no one and I mean no one out of 7 staff members said anything to her. I got my child and told her that we would be leaving the event. This is NOT how you treat people! I will not be renewing my membership and will tell everyone I know how unprofessional and rude the staff is….. I wondered now if my child was ignored during those Parent Survival Njghts. Since the app never worked where you could see your child inside the place I will never know but God sure does!

We absolutely LOVE The Little Gym! I have really enjoyed seeing my daughter learn and grow. The staff is so patient with the children, which that can be though with a room full of toddlers, but they do soooooo good!! My daughter has a blast, and is always excited to go back to class. We have loved all of the classes we've taken at the Little Gym! My kids and I did parent child classes when they were babies, and we've moved to the dance/gymnastics combination class since they're both pre-school age now. The instructors are wonderful, great with the kids. The team is accommodating and flexible with schedule changes, which is always a consideration with little kids! We love that the dance classes are about skill building and having fun! The Little Gym has also been doing an excellent job with COVID-19 precautions.

We also had a birthday party there in March, and I cannot say enough positive things about it! The kids had a blast, and it was a completely stress-free experience! Our guests even commented about how great everything was. We had actually planned to have the party somewhere else (seems silly now!), but the original venue canceled. The Little Gym really saved the day and put together a wonderful party for us on short notice. We will absolutely be having more of our birthday parties at the Little Gym!

All in all, I would highly recommend giving the Little Gym a try!

We just started the bugs/bugs boost class mid February, we are on our 2nd week and absolutely love this program! Not only is the equipment clean, but the classes are flexible, and her instructor (Ms.katie) is wonderful/knowledgeable! So far all the staff I’ve came into contact with are very nice and knowledgeable. I have peace of mind knowing that these classes are giving our little girl the best start possible in a safe/clean environment with other babies her age.

I took my ( then 3 yo) son there for try gym class. I must say staff and teacher are very nice. What I did not like is that teacher - student ratio was 1 to 15 ( at least) so imagine the zoo that toddlers were doing there. Kids who were a little older or were there longer listened to the teacher but the rest of 10 kids were running around going bananas doing whatever they wanted ( including my son) teacher attended my son TWICE during an hour class to do two flips. THAT’S IT ( not exadurating) but there is no way she has ability to do her job right with class overstuffed with kids!

So if you have $80/ month to spend on your kid running around doing whatever while you socialize with other moms for an hour four days a month, then go for it!
If you are serious about your child doing gymnastics and getting results THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT PLACE.

I just started going to The Little Gym in Farragut with my daughter. She is really enjoying it and tries to go back in through the entrance door every time we leave. She is small still for some of the equipment, but really enjoys walking around on the mats at different levels. It is a good challenge for her as she learns to go up and down small steps.
