Incredible staff, incredible equipment, incredible culture, ran by incredible people. Moved away from Memphis, but everytime I come back I am reminded of how much I miss this place. If you need a gym, make this place your home. From someone who has been to every fitness facility in Memphis, this one is not only the best, but WORTH the drive no matter where you are in Memphis.

Very nice gym. My son plays travel baseball for the Memphis Tigers and this is their indoor practice facility. Several batting and work cages. Clean restrooms are always a plus!!

This is the best gym I have been to since college in Whitewater, WI. I love the 4am crowd, everyone is focused on their own thing and machines are readily available. I usually leave by 430-445 when it starts to fill up, but only bc I am an introvert.

The Yard is highly equipped with new and/or up to date and well maintained machines and weights. I’ve never been during staff hours without seeing a staff member checking on things and cleaning! It’s always spotless around there. Tons of space, always super clean, very responsive every time I had a question. Great gym culture. My kids love birthday parties at The Yard, and I love the offerings like sports coaching for kids.

Can't say enough great thing about The Yard 901. The ownership team is awesome. The staff are on top of things and ready to help with anything you may need. They know me by name and greet me when I walk in the door! TONS of options for classes. The clientele is great and are always willing to offer support/help to fellow gym goers who ask for help or tips/pointers. Bands, kettle bells, barbells, dumbbells, medicine balls, racks, machines, free weights, cardio, boot camps, classes, personal training...you name it, you can find it at The Yard. You won't find a cleaner facility in the area and there are spray bottles and paper towels everywhere to wipe down equipment after each use. If you're looking for a gym to call home, you should definitely give The Yard a look!

I’ve been at The Yard for 2 years. I can’t say enough about the staff and ownership. It fits my needs as an avid fitness enthusiast, as well as the needs of my boys who play travel baseball and receive training there from phenomenal coaches.

I appreciate the owner who didn’t bend during the pandemic, and stayed open to ensure his community stayed healthy and active. I’ve met life long friends through this gym that makes coming in that much more rewarding. This is my home gym for life and I look forward to its continued success as our city continues to grow.

My family and have a membership , 17 yr old and myself we absolutely LOVE it!!! My 17 yr old plays football and loves the availability of equipment a trainers. It is not your typical gym, it is one that a person of all ages and fitness levels can enjoy. I prefer toning strength workouts and running/biking and my husband prefers a more heavy lifting build muscle work out and we both feel comfortable on the floor working out. We also have a 5 year old and 8 year old that LOVE the child care they provide. If you are looking for a home gym this is the one for you!!!! Everyone makes you feel at home here.

I have been working out here for years. My entire family works out here as well including my teenagers. Just a sweet story of these gym owners and their hearts. In 2020 I lost my husband suddenly. The week after that I received a call from Ricky (owner) gifting my family a lifetime membership at The Yard. He said the last thing he wanted us to worry about was a membership and he wanted us to have a place to go together as a family. Time and time again I’m reminded of this place that has given my children and I somewhere to go during grief and life challenges to blow off steam. You can walk in, throw your headphones in and just check out. During this time my son trained with Anthony here for college prep for sports and he changed my sons life. He is phenomenal! We love The Yard! And we are so thankful for them!

The gym itself is mediocre. We chose this gym solely for child care purposes. We were charged one price and then a few months later they raised the price. My wife and I already pay for a membership each. The child care is beyond political. If you are friends with the owner then your child will be able to get away with whatever they want, and lie about other children. The owner is also a liar that will bend over for his friends that have kids and lie on their behalf. Any issues your child may cause the ladies would rather interrupt your workout and have you deal with it. Makes you wonder what you are paying them for. The fact that they do not have cameras in the daycare area bewilders me. I guess it is so they can get away with such lies. I do not recommend to any one with children.
