My daughter loves USA Karate. This karate program is simply excellent. The atmosphere is always positive and upbeat. The instructors are phenomenal. From the discipline they teach, the life lessons they instill, the martial arts they learn, the fun games that they play, the parties they have and the tournaments they put on. She has been apart of this amazing program for atleast 2 years now and even to this day she still gets so excited every time she goes to class.

We attend the Cordova location and cannot say enough great things about our dojo! My sons and myself started in August and the change I have seen in my boys in regards to focus and commitment is amazing! The instructors are great with kids, they have party nights, can host birthday parties, and more! They also offer amazing adult classes that I love and look forward to attending. Mr. Dale is serious about self defense and has a huge love for martial arts and it shows in how much he genuinely cares about his students and their families. I highly recommend checking this dojo out!

The staff is amazing with these kids. I have been very impressed. My 6 yo daughter loves it. She practices at home and have committed. When she misses, they are calling and checking on her. They do a lot of events and even summer camps. We drive all the way from Lakeland to be here. The sales structure is the only thing I get irked by. It is well done, that’s probably why 😂

My 5 year old first time going to USA Karate, he was afraid everyone would be looking at him, but as soon as we arrived they made him feel so welcome😊 which made him feel more confident. I’m happy he joined USA Karate, can’t wait to see him become more advanced!

Con: the only thing I dislike is how they rush you to sign papers and never mention the year contract.

A friend of mine posted about a free class at USA Karate over the holidays. It was about how to keep yourself safe when crime is up around the holidays. I took a friend with me and we both loved it. It really was a free class. No pressured sales. They made us feel welcome and comfortable, especially since attending was a little out of our comfort zone to begin with. I was very intrigued by Krav Maga and decided to sign up. Ive been going to class a few times a week for the last couple months and I love it. Its a great workout. And feeling like you can protect yourself and/or escape a bad situation is a great feeling. They're also wonderful about helping be modify different moves to adapt to my physical disabilities. I would highly recommend trying a class. You'll be hooked.

Karate has been amazing for my nearly second degree black belt. The instructors are dedicated to their work and their students. I'm currently at level three orange belt in Krav Maga. My confidence has grown. My endurance with physical activity has improved tremendously and I know that I would be able to have a much better chance if I was ever unfortunately put in a bad situation! I highly recommend this place. Certified instructors that will encourage you to become a better and more knowledgeable human being, physically and mentally! KIDA!

We started attending USA Karate and Krav Maga with our oldest daughter taking karate. It didn't take long for my husband and I to get into the Krav Maga class. After 5 months of training, I can honestly say that my physical strength and endurance has drastically improved. I feel safer going to the car in a dark parking lot, and I feel that I'm a better parent to my kids by preparing myself to defend us from anyone that may try to harm us (pray that never happens, but it's good to be trained and ready should the time arise). And, we found out we were pregnant with baby # 3 just a few weeks after signing up. That didn't stop me from training, and the instructors have been thoroughly supportive of my "condition". They really take mine and our son's safety into true consideration. They never mind taking the time to modify a drill so that we'll be OK, all while I can get some real training in. My OB has even praised my "workout" routine- my blood pressure is way awesome, my weight gain has been better managed, my sleep pattern is better... and my body is stronger! Not to mention our daughter has really taken responsibility with her karate classes. She more focused and driven. She's confident and overcoming fears daily. She has learned so much more than just kata and kicks. She's learned who SHE is. She's learned to be respectful, and to NOT be bullied (without violence, of course!) I have nothing negative at all to say about USA Karate. We have had nothing but an incredible, hospitable, supportive experience there. Only wish we would have discovered it sooner! KIDA!

with two children in karate classes and my husband and myself in krav maga, we spend a lot of time at usa karate! the instructors are great, i love how they are teaching our kids self-discipline, self-control, and a lot of social skills, such as shaking hands and looking people in the eye. they are very patient with the kids.
my husband and i love krav maga. it's such a sensible and intuitive system for self-defense, it's really quick to learn. i like the informality of it, the fact that there aren't katas or forms. they let us try out a couple of classes for free and it was enough to get us hooked!

I am more confident than ever and at age 49 I am in the best shape of my life. I have lost over 100 lbs and I credit USA Karate with motivating me to give my best. KIDA!

I've trained in martial arts before and I can definitely say that USA Karate is the best. Their Krav Maga training is top notch and the environment is superb. I am a black belt from this school. I have been a student since 2011 and had have little reason for complaint. And if anyone reads these reviews, I say this: Don't just take our word for it, attend a class and see for yourself is this is for you. This is not for everyone. And furthermore, if you are going to complain about this class, focus on whether they are good teachers or not. Fees are ok, but nobody gives a damn about the seating. Nobody comes here to sit down, they come here to train.

we are a military family... my wife is active duty navy. We asked for a 1 month Krav Maga class and they told us to sign a 6 month contract so we decided to go for it. Well as this works we only used 3 months but understand we signed a 6 month agreement so just knew we were locked in so we paid the $600 for 6 months. Well we noticed 4 months after our 6 month deadline they not only continued to charge us but they added a 10% fee to it! So when we caught it... they not only charged us for 6 months even though we only used 3 months but an additional 4 months plus $40 to equal $1,040 for only 3 month of Krav Maga! Ouch... Well when I called they said there contract was written in such a way that they would not reimburse me and it automatically renews the contract if you don't write a formal letter and after the formal letter is approved you are locked in for 60 more days IF YOU DONT YOU ARE LOCKED IN TO PAY FOR AN ADDITIONAL 12 MONTHS. BEWARE OF THE CONTRACT! THEY ARE A SCAM! IF YOU SIGN YOUR KID UP FOR KARATI OR YOU DO KRAV MAGA THEY WILL SCREW YOU! DO NOT SIGN THE CONTRACT AND IF YOU DO LOOK AT THE SECTION RENEWAL TERM AND CROSS IT OFF AND INITIAL IT WITH THE OWNER OR YOU WILL LOSE HUNDREDS OF THOUSAND OF DOLLARS! BEWARE!

My 5 year old son is enrolled in the Lil Ninjas program and i've seen a tremendous change in his behavior since enrolling. I also take Shotokan Karate and Brazilian Jiujitsu and love both! The instructors are to rate and always willing to help!
