Staff was friendly. The workout facility was cramped, and hard to find a good time to work out that fit my schedule without it being crowded. I'm leaving two stars though because of the Workout Anytime policy of charging an extra month to cancel. I'm moving before the of June and being forced to pay for July until August 9th.

I used this gym as a secondary for a few weeks while I was working in Knoxville. They (without talking to me) cancelled my phone app barcode, called me and said that they are now my home gym and I had to come in to redo the signup process that I did a year ago at my ACTUAL home gym in Sevierville. I cancelled on the spot. Just because someone uses your gym for a few weeks doesn't make your gym their home gym. And you definitely should not make changes to their membership account before speaking with them so they can confirm that you are in fact their new home gym.

Love this place! John is a great guy and I love supporting local businesses! It's clean, the people are great here! Same friendly faces every morning. I'm the lady that prances around in her bare feet, also known as high intensity interval training. I've been doing it for over 12 years and if anyone wants to join me in one of my workouts, come along and you can keep your shoes on. I know I seem intense and focused in my workouts, but I'm actually very much a people person. 😂💪💪💪👣Oh, the music is very nice too. ❤️✝️

The Halls facility was a great place to workout, but lately the people working out there just don't put their weights away. They will load up a bench with plates and just walk away. Leaving other members to clean up after them. I have yet to see a staffer tell a member to put their weights away. It is so bad that I'm looking to move on. My son's and I have been a member there for 5 years now. I travel a lot for work and the other Workout Anytime gyms don't have this problem.

We recently joined after cancelling with PF because they allow men in the women's locker room. Today was our first workout and the whole vibe there is awesome! Everyone was friendly, the music was great and family appropriate, everyone puts their weights back up, and it was very clean. I'm so glad we've joined! 🧡

Strictly my opinion, but I’m not completely sold on this gym. Unfortunately, this is the only gym in the halls area so it’s hard to avoid if you’re looking for a local (in town) gym. It’s very small so when you go during busy hours it seems impossible to get on certain machines. The teenagers that work the front desk are nice but you can definitely tell it’s their first (maybe second) job so be patient with them. Equipment is a little out of date from what I’m use to and the cleanliness could use some improvement. Over all I’m not super impressed/motivated going to this gym so I will have to travel a little farther to find something that fits my needs. I will give them kudos for being open (to members) 24 hours a day. Pricing is a little steep for what they offer but I guess it’s justified because they’re open 24 hours. I recently cancelled my membership and was forced to pay for an additional month - even though I cancelled before another month was due. I don’t believe it’s right for ANY gym to require a 30-days notice for cancellation when you only give employers a 2-weeks notice. That policy has never made sense to me, but it seems as though a lot of gyms are pushing that policy post Covid. Gyms should know that unexpected things happen and sometimes families don’t have the extra money to pay for a month they’ll never use. Again this is all my opinion, so take it with a grain-of-salt. I never had a “bad” experience at this gym (thankfully); this gym just wasn’t for me and my fitness needs.

Overall very happy with this gym! Me and my husband have been members for over a year. The gym is always clean and the staff is very friendly. Big shout out to Tristan! He is always so kind, helpful and happy to see everyone. He knows almost everyone there personally and takes an interest in their day. We stay for Tristan!
My one complaint would be the need for more equipment. Often have to wait on a bench or squat rack, especially when school is out and teenagers are there. Though I understand it's a smaller gym and space is limited.

Gym is too crowded, and needs to expand I feel like I’m wasting time waiting for all the high school kids to chat on equipment, flex in mirrors, hog equipment and abuse some of the equipment. Gym staff normally just chats with girls for hours on end not maintaining the gym or wet wipes that they want us to use until it’s convenient and close to quitting time for them. Machines are also out of service, some carabiner clips on the equipment are bent and don’t latch correctly (an injury waiting to happen) extremely worn DB’s, and guilt trip over a broken weight is posted in the gym… We get that we are supposed to be reasonable and responsible with the equipment but if it breaks use the $29.99 a month we spend plus the $80 maintenance fees we get charged each year to maintain the equipment we pay to use! It’s progressively gotten worse over the years I’ve been a member and it defiantly looks and feels like a beat gym to me however it’s becoming extremely inconvenient for the average person like me and I’m sure others trying to get in and get out at a reasonable time.

Also the bathroom doors in the men’s room latch terribly and easily get pulled open by other goes who can’t tell someone is using it.

I feel this gym is just starting to waste my money and time.

Wasn't able to go for the last year so I decided to cancel. Sat with someone on Nov 8th canceling my membership only for them to take money out of my account on Nov 22nd. And now I just looked at my account and they pulled another $39 out. I called and was told that they never even cancelled my account. Now I am being told I can't cancel over the phone and I need to go there and cancel again! They also gave my son in law a hard time when he tried to cancel. I will never go back there again.

Me and my fiancé have been going to this gym for years! John and Gina are fantastic and I want to express that this review has nothing to do with them whatsoever.

My fiancé also did not want to review this herself because our account is under her name not mine.

We were enjoying a normal day working out when my fiancé went to change to go home. She told me that while she was changing one of the cleaners came in and started talking either on the phone or to someone else that didn't speak. Sadly they were apparently discussing drugs and that made her EXTREMELY uncomfortable.

Now I know this gym. I do not know if someone fell through the cracks being hired new or if the pandemic brought out the worst in a good employee but unfortunately we will be seeking a new gym to go to because of this. For the time being we will probably go to Powell or Bearden.

My fiancé's had issues with family being on methamphetamine and pills before and it is not something she wishes to be around. And I wholeheartedly agree with her choice to stay very clear of such influences.

This place is an absolute joke. The staff was good for a bit. They really only have one person that pretty much does everything there. The management team is awful. The music absolutely sucks. A gym is supposed to get you rolling with your workout. Not put you to sleep. The owners are ridiculous. Have no concept of keeping you members happy. The personal trainers are a joke. Worst gym experience of my life. Don’t even get me started about the lack of explanation of memberships, haphazardly signing you up, NEVER getting an email with the contract stating it’s **one year** (family package), oh and let’s not forget the annual fee they don’t warn you about that’s approximately the same amount as your package. The icing on the cake was when two other ladies and myself were stretching in basically the only area available, and WE WERE ASKED TO MOVE. BY A TRAINER. I thought it was a joke but no, that’s a real thing. There isn’t any room for much, let alone making people move who pay to go to the gym there? I get that Bob may pay for personal training, but it’s not my fault there’s no space and I shouldn’t have to interrupt and stop my workout because of it. Don’t worry, there’s a $99 cancellation fee if you opt out of your contract early, AND THEN there’s tax. Simply splendid. Don’t waste your money.

I started here at Workout Anytime in Halls in June from then until the end of the year I’ve lost 80lbs. The other gym members, staff and atmosphere make going each day a joy. Everyone is always helpful, the facility is always clean and the equipment is in great shape. I’ve been a member of other gyms here in the Knoxville region, none made me feel like I belonged. WOA, makes me feel like I’m surrounded by like minded folks, I ask questions from the staff and other members and am always responded with a smile and kindness. What a great environment and wonderful facility.
