I love this gym. Staff is great, and are always striving to motivate everyone that enters. I went through the personal training with Jake Lindsay, and during my 6 months with him, we hit every goal I wanted to hit while training with him. I would recommend anyone who is new to the gym or want to work on something specific the trainers here are fantastic and help a lot.

I bought the monthly membership along with six months of personal training. After my third month of personal training, my trainer left the gym and the other trainer that I wanted to work with, was unable to accommodate my hours. I called and attempted to cancel my last month of personal training due to not being able to use it and they refused.

This gym is always spotless — the staff are constantly cleaning, and the locker rooms are pristine every time I visit. The team here is incredible: they’re friendly, approachable, and always willing to help or answer any questions. A special shout-out to the manager, Cody — he goes above and beyond to make sure members feel welcomed, supported, and motivated. He’s always checking in, offering encouragement, and making the gym a positive place to be. The atmosphere is amazing, and the members are so supportive of each other. In all my years of weight training, WOA Jefferson City is by far the cleanest, well maintained, organized, best priced gym I’ve been a member at! The staff is always working hard to keep the facility clean and running flawlessly. Management could not be friendlier and the trainers could not be more knowledgeable. I’ve been to multiple other WOA’s across the region and Jeff City still is the best location by far! You are welcomed in and treated like family! I highly recommend enrolling!

Awesome place to work out a little small, but worth it drawback is sometimes it's very packed great atmosphere. Just have to figure out what time works for you. Oh by the way you do not need a personal trainer. Save your money google it first. You can get in shape on your own.

Sam is hands down the best worker there!!! He helped me with my sets! I dropped the 385 pound weight on my chest and while everyone else was watching and laughing, Sam came over there and picked it up off me (with one hand) (nonchalantly)

Meanwhile planet forces has college football, wrestling and basketball on TV while workout anytime here is playing golf and current events... Should consider showing my Olympia, strong man and the like seeing that this is a weight lifters gym! Good for a small gym however. No attitudes, most who come in are just looking to get work done and go.

Editing this because unfortunately I’ve had to cancel due to them deciding that the premium features like the sauna would no longer be available outside of staffed hours, which defeats the whole 24/7 thing and paying for the upgrades. Hopefully they’ll only punish the people abusing the amenities in the future instead of all members.

They did waive the cancelation fee due to my reasoning, so I gave a 2nd star because of that.

Good luck getting you membership cancel if you have a life. I work 8-5pm. To cancel a membership you have to show up in person. I signed up for a premium membership which allowed a +1 (my wife). Every time I showed up to this place no one was at the counter and no one would come to the counter. I finally took a sick day at work and showed up around noon. Finally I cancelled my membership. Next month I still get a charge. I call them and apparently my membership was setup to be separate from my wife. So when I cancelled mine, it didn't cancel my wife's plan that I had no idea that I was paying for. I asked if I could get a refund for this month that I was unaware of and they refused to give me a refund for 1 month, despite the issues I've had for months trying to cancel this membership. Great gym with great equipment but terrible customer service/care.

I love the gym has everything you need I go super early so I don’t usually see the workers but this morning one was going in with me not sure if she was a PT or what but I made small talk with her and she just looked at me like I was below her and didn’t respond to me 🙄 call me crazy but shouldn’t they be friendly? At least not act like they’re too good to talk to you ? If she was a PT I would never use her she was just rude ! No one on this earth is better than the other I think she needs to be told this! I’ve been a member for a long time I’ll keep going but never use the PTs if that’s how they’re !

I signed up at the start of 2024 and have nothing but positive experiences with staff, equipment, cleanliness, and even the regulars. Avoid their 6 week challenge at all cost. They promote help with nutrition but they just tell you “watch what you eat”. They put you in a tiny back room for workouts. Cody the manager is no help either. Highly recommend avoiding their challenge programs.

My husband and I joined Workout Anytime in Jefferson City, TN and we could not be happier!! The facility is clean, there is enough equipment to accommodate everyone, and the staff and atmosphere is top-notch!! It had been a few decades since I've worked out in a gym, so I got a personal trainer, Karen, who is fantastic instructing & demonstrating each routine to ensure I have the proper technique. Karen is so nice and helpful, making me feel comfortable while working out. I'm feeling stronger already in this 60 year old body! I look forward to working out and can't wait to see how much better I will look at 61 with all her help.

It's nice and love the equipment. It would be even better if people wouldn't just sit on the equipment and text. Then, the staff uses the equipment to sit on while they talk to or "coach" other people. Real bummer when you're hoping for a good workout and can't get to the machines.

Let me start by saying, I have been to MANY Workout Anytime’s, in many different states. By far this is the best club I have stepped foot in. Cody is a great manager, friendly and helpful. Kaitlyn is also very helpful and great with members. Breanna is a delight and always will to help anyone. Alanis is always hard at work cleaning and helping members. The trainers, Greg, Jamie, and Dusty, are always taking great care of and training hard with the personal training clients! The equipment and facility is hands down the best anywhere in 25 miles, nothing close compares! I love that I never have to wait for equipment! Absolutely amazing selection! Never an excuse to not be able to do something! The members are friendly and courteous. But none of this would be possible without the AMAZING club owners Scott and Tara shepherd! They have no system for equipment hogs. I spent one hour walking on a treadmill waiting for a rack or a bench to open. They had an employee holding the bench for a complete hour and let 1 person hog the only two barbells in the gym for the complete hour as well. Don’t come here unless you want to wait to use equipment while people socialize.
