A Joke facility Small Changing Area with 2 open view showers Don't expect any extras from this gym, 50% of they're "10,000 sq ft" Are bathrooms,offices and A room with the best equipment for classes and private session not for solo member use. Everything is cramped and crammed into Facility, and after being a member for almost a year and a half when you cancel, they will screw you for another $60 by tricking you at sign up buyer beware!!! The Workout Anytime Knoxville/Powell location is a great gym that I would confidently rate four out of five stars. The spacious layout, wide variety of equipment, and thoughtful organization make it an ideal spot for both seasoned athletes and those who focus on CrossFit or HIIT-style training. I genuinely wish more Workout Anytime locations across the country were set up like this one!

The only reason I’m holding back from a full five-star review is the gym’s unwillingness to offer full access to all amenities for Premium members visiting from out of town. When I originally signed up with Workout Anytime, I was promised full amenity access at any location nationwide, so it's disheartening to be limited here.

That said, the gym itself is fantastic — clean, well-organized, and packed with equipment. If they added amenities like a sauna, steam room, and cold plunge (which other locations have), this location would truly be next level.

It's a nice gym. Equipment is good and it's a clean atmosphere. The staff is friendly. Usually not too busy. They have free weights and equipment. They offer some classes. They have a tanning bed and a hydro-massage chair.

I had a membership and only went for 2 months. I continued to pay for nothing for < 3 years. Recently, after years of receiving my money for nothing, instead of canceling my membership upon non-payment… this institution sent my account to collections???? What are you collecting? MORE MONEY FOR NOTHING!? Do not sign up here! Not only will you never attend, your credit score will suffer for it! HORRIBLE BUSINESS, what kind of people have to be running this to allow that to happen? There is now a blemish on my credit report because I paid these “people” for literally NOTHING! DO NOT ASSOCIATE WITH THIS GYM!!!! Also, good luck not sliding off the side of their TERRIBLE benches.. or balancing their crooked barbells on your shoulders… The equipment provided at this subpar gym will only promote imbalances AT BEST! More likely, you’ll injure yourself trying to use their inadequate machinery! You’d be better off going across the lot to lil Cs because at least you’d be getting what you pay for over there.. seriously, do not make the mistake of giving this place your money… they’ll rob you and ruin your credit. And for the topping on all of that… if you are anything other than a white straight male… be prepared to hear/experience blatant racism/sexism… by owners or possibly friends of them..? Overall just stay far away!!!! (Edit) In response to the owner: not true. I became an alcoholic in august 2022 quit my job and literally didn’t leave my house — except to buy alcohol — until January of this year. Cancelled my membership 3 months ago still charging me every month ever know I talked to them numerous time and they keep telling me they cancelled it. Also they were telling me the refunded the money the last two times took them on there word and just realized they never did and lied. Plus they just took another payment today. I am currently at another gym getting told they are doing the same to many others. Stay away for this gym very shady place.

So I work 14 hours a day 7 days a week so I decided to approach workout anytime and see if I could find when I could hire a personal trainer and purchase a membership unfortunately when I tried to open the front door of course it was locked there was no one at the front desk I waited about as long as I was going to wait and so I turned around and left as I left I did call and of course I did not get an answer so I decided not to purchase a membership

I come in during the early morning hours. Everyone has been kind and willing to help other members.

However, the most important part of the facility is, it is clean. Ryan does a fantastic job cleaning and organizing. Myself and other members recognize his hard work.

This is not the closest Workout Anytime to my house. It’s further than another location by 3 miles and I drive to the Powell location six days a week because it is clean. I have been to 5 other Workout Anytime clubs from Chattanooga to Lynchburg, VA and this is by far the cleanest facility.

One of the cleanest gyms you will ever step foot in. Friendly staff who make it a point to learn members' names and go above and beyond to keep the facilities clean. It's not just a gym but feels like a community. Members are very friendly who work out here and everyone is considerate of each other. I always feel better after going here! Give this gym a try - they have personal trainers and bootcamp classes for extra, but it's worth it if you prioritize your health. The best money you will ever spend is on your wellness.

I went to planet fitness for years ,but if I could go back in time I would have started going to this place for years. It has a great environment with great music. The people there are super nice and it has all the equipment you need for bodybuilding and cardio. Planet fitness stopped doing 24/7 and that is what brought me here and it was 100% worth it! This is my life time gym.

I went as a guest with my brother who was a member to the Kingston pike location across the street from the Chop House. They demanded my credit card to even use the facilities as guest and said I would not be charged for my first 3 visits. The location does not exist anymore and they hit my credit 4 years later for $175… horrible company.

Recently, I had to relocate to another state for a few months for work. My clear plan was to find another Workout Anytime location in that state to continue my workout routine, expecting it to be just as good as my home location in Powell, TN. To my utter dismay, machines were broken, equipment was filthy, and the showers were criminal with black mold on the curtains. Instantly, in my mind, my home location went from “good” to “GREAT!” It made me really appreciate all the effort that the Powell crew puts into the facilities to make it a clean, and beneficial experience. As of yet, no gym I’ve visited compares to Workout Anytime, Powell. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I use to live this Workout Anytime was member of oak ridge location for years. Oak Ridge closed and had to start going to Powell. Went with a different plan this time. I have been to location willing to pay to stop contract when expires. So it will not renew automatically. Was told after I drove 30 mins out of my way on August 11th to Powell location. That I could only do online and couldn’t at location. Then the card I was given has wrong account info and website. Called 3 times to Powell location since and have been given 2 different ways and then was told after moving out state that I need to come to location to cancel. Either poor training or lack of communication between staff members. But I’m the end just horrible customer service. I will make sure anytime I’m asked by friends and family still in area not to use Powell location or WorkOut anytime. Also I never put reviews. But all the run around I have gotten I thought people would want to know.

Workout Anytime your fitness and your schedule gym club has great membership specials.
My two sons and I had received the red carpet tour, by one of the managers at the Workout Anytime Powell location.
The entire staff was really friendly and helpful in helping my oldest choose the perfect gym membership.
Most of all this gym was super fresh and clean, they had the best state of the arts gym equipment.

They don't have the cleaning bottle, micro fiber towels, or sweat towels that some have... But they do have a person during business hours that walks around and cleans the machines.
Mens locker room isn't that nice... But space in the weight rooms is more important to me.

I have not worked out since before Covid-19. Finally feeling safe and ready to get back in shape and lose weight, I joined the Workout Anytime in Powell, TN. My son has worked out there for years and had told me it was awesome. He was right! So thankful to Cindy who assisted me in signing up and joining her Silver Sneakers classes. She is amazing! Classes are perfect for me to get back to the gym with several joint and tissue disorders. I highly recommend WOA in Powell, TN.

I hate this gym. I used to go around 3 or 4 in the morning, but after someone’s car was broken into, I didn’t feel safe. I started going in the morning between 6 and 8 and it is so completely packed, it’s ridiculous. You’re waiting on a machine and if you’re not waiting, you can almost bet that someone is lingering close to you, waiting on you to finish. Also if you go in the morning, there is a member there everyday who is obnoxiously loud and he screams when he talks and has so much chaotic energy, he makes me and a few other people agitated and uncomfortable. You can hear him even with your headphones at full blast. If you go in the afternoon or at night, it’s the EXACT same situation again. It’s busy, you’re waiting on machines, but at least the annoying dude isn’t there. The place is too small, especially for the amount of people who go there, and only have one of each machine.

One squat rack, one bench, a smith machine for the whole club...ridiculous! They have another room with all the great equipment but members are not allowed to use those......if your an avid lifter go to Golds gym where they have adequate space and equipment to use. The room that’s off limits has 3 heavy duty squat racks one with a platform so u can do deadlifts and a wide bench press...but guess what you can’t use those! So at busy times you get to fight over 1 squat rack, a bench or a smith machine or you just dont get to use them period! So if you like to do the big 3 lifts (deadlift, bench or squat) you need to go to a real gym where you can actually do those lifts!
