I’ve been to a lot of gyms over the years and this gym right here in Seymour, TN has been a diamond of a find for our family. Frustrating experience at the gym today. A few months back I went to the gym to get a membership with a coupon card for $0 enrollment fees. I somehow got added to the $38.99 membership even though my friends who had the same exact coupon card got added to the $29.99 one. When I noticed that $38 were being pulled out of my account I went to go change my membership and asked why I got added to that one. Their only answer was to pay an extra $99 to change my membership. I was told originally that I would be paying $29 per month so i agreed and signed everything but come to find out I was actually having to pay $38. They messed up on their part putting me down for the wrong membership and i didn’t get my money back. I ended up paying the $99 because to finish out the year with the $38 would have amounted to around the same. It’s unfair and not right how they put both my friends on one and me on the other. It should have been the exact same for both.

Absolutely wont use this gym again. I tried to cancel my membership as I am deployed by the U.S. ARMY and they are telling me I have to pay an early termination fee even though under the SCRA that cant legally be done. Will tell everyone I know not to use this gym.

I really loved being a member at this gym. It’s always super clean and well taken care of, and you can tell the staff actually take pride in the place. I especially want to give a big shoutout to Shea and Skarlynn—they’ve been nothing but kind since day one. Always so helpful, always willing to answer questions, and honestly just the kind of people who make your day better by being there. Walking in and seeing a friendly face like theirs made such a difference.

I had to cancel my membership recently, but if I ever need a gym again, this will be the first one I come back to. Huge thanks to everyone there!

This place is ridiculous 😞 I mean first of all I had a disabled membership an when I got hurt an could no longer go they CONTINUED to charge me, an have now sent me to collections, How can they CONTINUE to charge someone who isn't even going?? THEN my son an his Buddy went down as Two Army Veterans, an while my son had his pass he was expecting to bring a friend for a day, Yep TWENTY DOLLARS, they charge for a day pass... Was a member for 5 years they got a new manager skarlyn who is extremely rude. I was in a hallway doing walking lunges talking to another personal trainer and she approached saying it was staff only I said only these doors say staff only she began just repeating are your serious. Are you really serious I left and was called saying my membership was revoked. Then find out my wife’s membership was also cancelled. People say it’s so hard to cancel a membership with woa in Seymour just stand in this hallway and problem solved There is also several bad reviews on yelp about said employee and owners apparently cannot be contacted.

I have enjoyed this gym for 2 years but the customer service from the employees has completely ruined my experience. I go in with my friend to get a day pass so he can work out at 6:59 PM on a Saturday and there are 3 employees behind the desk. I’m told that they are closed, he can’t buy a day pass and that he isn’t allowed to work out with me. This is unacceptable as a gym and business.

Gym is not clean or properly maintained most of the time, the staff is rude, and without key card access good luck getting in early in the morning. The services and policies in place only make things more difficult and complicated, a lot of hassle just to workout. Canceling my membership and recommending everyone else do as well

Workout Anytime Seymour is a great gym with a solid atmosphere and friendly staff. Sarah, Shay, and Michael are all awesome—super helpful and welcoming, which makes a big difference. One huge improvement is that Bailey is no longer here, and the vibe is way better because of it. The gym stays really clean, has all the equipment I need, and I love that it’s open 24/7. It’s also super convenient being so close to home. I actually enjoy coming here, and that says a lot. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable, well-kept gym with a good vibe.

Good luck trying to cancel. I cancelled in November and paid $80 then proceeded to get charged more months and had to fork out $30 to cancel again. Nice gym but the people won’t answer to help. $150 racked up in the months that didn’t cancel. Absolute BS. Owner finally responded only took a review. I was told if I had problems I could contact. Why would I pay for a 3 month termination if I have to go do it online too when I went into the gym. Owner and staff sucks.

Their offerings include fitness classes, in-person and online personal training, success sessions to get you started, and ongoing equipment instruction. Recently, when travel disrupted our schedules, Missy and I explored the WOA app. This tool provides customized training and programming through a coach, allowing for flexibility while still maintaining structure and expert guidance. It’s a great option for those who need to work independently but want a structured plan to follow.

It's a nice clean gym that's close to my work but since it's not my home gym I feel like they treat you a bit disrespectfully. I checked in once and then went to my car to get something and the manager freaked out because I didn't check in the next time I came in I was sure she seen me. I also didn't know their was a fee and it was required to clean the tanning beds. There was a sign after the fact but it was so embarrassing being scolded in front of a group of people setting at the front desk about how I previously left the tanning bed nasty and was warned I'd be banned from it which is fine and I don't mind cleaning it I could have been warned more quietly and respectfully. I'm not sure where work out anytime finds their employees but for me the gym is my place of peace but most all of work out anytime managers and employees are really a nightmare.

Ariel is a great personal trainer. She is keeping me on track and helping me to get a full body workout in the correct way.

UPDATE: Ariel has been steadily increasing the resistance and weight in my workouts, which is really paying off. The cardio workouts are great! If I did not visit her every week, it is doubtful I would even go to the gym.

Ariel is also one of the nicest and sweetest people I have ever met. She is a Godsend. I’m so glad to be a part of her workout team!

Great place to work out! Started 6 months ago and the transformation has been incredible. I have lost a full clothing size and have toned my body in a way I never thought possible. The thing I love the most is the trainers (Missy, Ariel and Skarlyn) really work with me to ensure I get the most out of my workouts. Each one provides a little different focus which helps me develop my skills. Missy drives me to push myself and keep going. Ariel provides great nutrition advice and motivates me to keep exercising. Skarlyn makes sure my form is good so I don’t get hurt. Couldn’t ask for a better team to help me reach my goals.

I used to be intimidated by going to the gym. 3 years ago, I decided that I wanted to get my physical health in check. I tried Workout Anytime since I have a hectic work schedule. I’ve been going regularly ever since!

I witnessed a member being harassed by a bigger woman in her early thirties wearing a bandana that works there. I felt so bad for this member and it was clearly not needed. This employee also uses equipment while working which takes away from customers using it. I would not blame this member if she didn't come back.

0 stars. If you have a membership at any other location they will not let you work out here. False advertisement when we joined all workout anytime websites state you can go to any locations. Not true after being with this gym for years. My husband got asked to leave this facility because this was not the facility he signed up for. So if you travel for work or live near by two locations NOTE YOU CAN NOT GO HERE IF YOU DIDNT SIGN UP HERE. After maryville location closed down and this location not accepting us we were forced into finding another gym all together.

So we didn't sign the contract so we had to wait a year to leave otherwise there was a fee. We agreed but upon leaving we had to not only pay an extra month so it honestly wasn't we could cancel anytime after the year. Then in addition to the 50 for the extra month we had to pay an additional 80 dollars because even though we canceled for whatever we still had to pay another year's worth of enrollment. If we weren't canceling I'd understand we are legit cancel and still have to pay another year's enrollment when we aren't going to be there. That I think is messed up so they charge you if you cancel early and they charge if you don't. I can honestly say buyer beware! They told us that unless you pay everything up front you are going to get the extra charges regardless which isn't what they tell you when they sell it to you.

This was my first time walking into this facility. I came to see what it was all about and see if it's the right place for me.
I was pleasantly surprised. Not only will it suit my needs but the staff was welcoming and polite. A very clean gym, clean showers and plenty of parking. I met Sarah ,shay and Jason at the front desk. All three were welcoming and friendly. Jason gave me a tour of the facility, answered all my questions and even did a demonstration on the treadmill as I was concerned about its ease of use.

Joined because I had a knee replacement and Medicare pays for a membership via Silver Sneakers at most any qualified gym. I AM SO Greatful I choose Workout Anytime in Seymour. I've been doing my own Knee PT using the treadmill and a few other machines. Let me just say this has been a real blessing. EVERYONE at WOAT has been So Friendly and Helpful. I feel like I'm there to see friends when I walk in the door. I Highly recommend Workout Anytime to Everyone. And If you have the Silver Sneakers option on your Medicare provider. I had signed myself and my wife up for a family membership at the beginning of the year, mid year I changed my billing information. I never come during the day, but every interaction I've ever had with the staff has been phenomenal. I love the cleanliness of the gym and the 24/7 access is a HUGE advantage for me. Being able to come after finishing work or school after midnight is amazing. The staff at planet fitness is rude, the staff here is awesome! Very thankful to have signed up two years ago. I am so much stronger than I was two years ago. It really pays off. $30 a month is a LOT cheaper than some other gyms. Was really surprised that I got to try out the massage table to see how I liked it. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable on the equipment. I see a trainer next week already. I believe I'm gonna have a good time at shedding some weight.😁

I love this gym and the staff! I always feel welcomed and I have Never felt judged by any workers or other gym members. It’s a great culture! I’m thankful for the location as well! It makes it very convenient and is really the main reason why I chose this for my gym.

Good facility, top equipment, and great environment. Very clean and comfortable gym for everyone from beginners to advanced members to train at. The only negative and the reason I didn’t give a 5 star review is because there needs to be 2 bench presses as it is almost always in use.

The gym is clean and sanitary, the machines/equipment are updated and provide many different workout options. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Missy, my trainer, knows how to put specific workouts together for maximum benefit to health and wellness. Bailey makes every guest feel welcome and is very informed on gym business!

I love having access to all the equipment and massage bed . It’s very clean . It’s always so fun to go workout there I have thoroughly enjoyed getting healthier. It’s an awesome gym , I’m always impressed by the patience and knowledge the coaches have and give to everyone working out . I love my gym and gym family !!

My husband and I really need to exercise....i have Systemic Lupus
