Extremely disappointed with my experience here.
I really wanted to like this place, but it’s become impossible to recommend. The gym is consistently understaffed. Makes it hard for them to do their jobs!
The facility itself is worryingly dirty, especially in high-traffic areas and around the equipment. It doesn’t feel like regular cleaning or maintenance is happening, and it shows.
On top of that, more than half of the machines are out of order, some of them for weeks or longer, and there never seems to be any clear timeline for repairs. It makes getting a full workout almost impossible during peak hours.
To make matters worse, the gym operates on shortened hours, even though other nearby gyms offer much better availability. The reduced hours combined with the broken equipment make the membership feel like poor value.
Hoping management takes these issues seriously, because right now, it’s just not meeting basic expectations.

This place is gross. It’s never clean. They have 7 broken treadmills. 6 broken stair climbers. 3 broken ellipticals. 1 broken bike. Broken cable machines. How is it at 8am, the bathroom stalls don’t have toilet paper? Clearly openers aren’t doing checklists. Equipment is broken all over the place. I couldn’t tell you the last time they vacuumed under the dumbbell racks. There’s been no effort to clean or fix anything. It’s pretty sad. These aren’t even 1/10th of the issues.

I was accidentally overcharged for a subscription. No big deal. Accidents happen. These things can be fixed. But I had to explain the situation to their manager, Demarcus, 3 separate times over a month of trying to reach him. He was very evasive. And when I was finally able to catch him in person, he was rude and deflective. If someone higher up wants the full story I will gladly provide.

This place is a genuine disappointment. I will be cancelling my membership, joining Crunch, and I suggest others to do the same or avoid this place altogether. Paying monthly and annual fees for 45% of the equipment and facilities to be out of service and remain that way for MONTHS. This location is dirty, unsanitary, and everything else in between. Please do yourself a favor and do not waste your money here, especially in this economy. Also, one of the only locations that are not open 24hrs. Staff is super kind, only good quality I can think of for this place.

October 2025 Update - more disgusting than ever with probably 40% of cardio machines out of service, and more padding ripped than not. Oh, and the basketball court has been closed for months because they won’t fix the backboard. Rather than repurpose it or allow it to be used for something else, they just lock the door. I don’t know how it’s possible to sell a membership after a tour.

One question ? Do you ever clean this gym ? It’s disgusting, you can make a wig with all the hair under the machines and on the floor. Please teach your cleaning crew how to vacuum under machines and wipe them down. Bathroom is gross always smells like piss or mildew growing in the grout around the sinks and floor. This gym was very nice and clean when it opened then went to trash. Cable machine is broke and has been for 3 weeks now.. no complaints with staff they are always friendly and welcoming. I have been a member at 24hr for well over 20yrs now and it’s finally time to change.

This is my second post. Week after week goes by and the bikes continue to be broken. I believe that the majority of these bikes have been broken or down to one, and this has been going on at least the second month to the third I believe I’ve noticed it a bit cleaner. But the same equipment is broken along with the pads on the knee lift machines still ripped. This is totally unacceptable.

Add 24 Hour fitness at Fairview and alan Texas since before Covid. Basically when it first opened. The stationary bikes have been broken continually since I joined the clock. Now out of seven bikes one is operational. This is ridiculous. The facility in Mckinney as I understand, it is being renovated, and so the Mckinney members are coming to the Fairview site. That is making an impossible to share on a stationary bike. Scores of people have quit this club that I have watched throughout the years be regular members. The pool ropes are both broken. The pads on the knee lift equipment are ripped. There are a number of stair, masters, treadmills, etc. that are down too. If I hadn’t paid a yearly fee, I would quit right now. I have repeatedly told the management about it. I have written the letters to the 24 Hour executive group and nothing has changed. There is no excuse for about the bikes to have been down for three months. Really, three months. Can 24 Hour fitness not afford to buy new ones? This is really disgusting for a company to be taking my money and not giving me a place to do a work out that it is important for my health.

I only give 2 stars because I love the uJam class. The class is the only reason I come to this gym . The one in Mckinney is wayyy cleaner. The floors in the ladies locker room are disgusting. And the sauna looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. Unacceptable. Please hire a cleaning crew stat!!

DO BETTER!!! My husband and I are having to work out at this location bc mckinney is temporarily closed. And let me just tell you….GROSS! No paper towels to wipe down equipment after use, no hand sanitizer to clean your own hands, and the equipment hasn’t been cleaned in lord knows when (see pictures). This has to be against several health code violations. I can’t wait for mckinney to open up again!

This gym has a lot of potential but it appears to be poorly managed. A good portion of the equipment is broken, missing components, or in poor shape. There are literally pieces of equipment that have been broken for weeks if not months with no signs of them being repaired.
The male bathroom usually looks like a war zone. I understand the bathroom will get messy throughout the day, but when you’re one of the first people in the gym and I looks like a someone set off a fecal bomb before throwing toilet paper all over the place is subpar to say the least.
It’s better than nothing, but given the brand it’s pretty poor.

Place is typically dirty and the management have let this place go. There is no cleaning at all durning the day and really need to think about moving once our yearly membership is up. Sauna is like this every day! Machines are often broken for lengthy periods of time.

I truly hate to even give 1 star but I guess you can’t give no star and leave a review. This place is the dirtiest gym I’ve ever been too. A kids playground is cleaner than this place. The sauna probably has cheese growing bc that’s what it smells like. Can’t wait for my gym to be open again. I can’t even start to talk about the restrooms, staph infection growing zone for sure. I truly hope things get better before someone gets sick.

Somehow it was hotter in the gym than outside. Felt like the heater was on combined with the humidity of everyone’s sweat. Barely any machines, equipment is outdated, place is dirty, no staff at the front desk, smelled horrendous, Hot tub was broken. Don’t even consider this gym.

There is a swim school that takes up almost all the evenings and weekend mornings in the pool ,with just one lane for regular members. The parents of the kids tend to congregate around the pool which makes it awkward for those who want to swim. The water is not well maintained and the pool is dirty most of the time.

Encountered Tanner who recommends that members who need to use the facilities as they were advertised (24 hours a day) (only reason we pay for this) cancel their memberships. Rudest staff member I've ever seen. He also appears to be unable to look in the system to see if any other facilities stay open as advertised. We took our membership out in mckinney. Mckinney closed with little to no notice and will not be open until mid October. What are we paying for?

I have been a member for over 20 years. This gym was great when it first opened except the fact that they close at 10PM on most days. Besides that, it seems more than 50% of the equipment is out of service and has been for 3-6 months. Even the equipment that works is mostly broken in some way. The floors are dirty. Floors in the steam room are so disgusting that they are literally black. Basketball backboard has been broken for months and no time take to fix it. I don't understand how they continue to collect money from people including$60-70 yearly maintenance fee but they make no effort to fix any equipment. If anyone looking to get a membership, I urge you to take a tour of the facility. Plenty of other gyms in the area that charge similar or less money but are in much better condition.

Dear 24 Hour Fitness Management,
I am writing to express my frustration regarding the basketball goal at your facility, which has been broken for over three months now. As a paying member, I find it unacceptable that such a key amenity has remained out of service for this length of time with no visible progress toward repair or replacement.
Basketball is one of the main reasons I maintain my membership, and it’s disappointing to see this issue ignored for so long. I understand that maintenance takes time, but three months is far beyond reasonable. At the very least, communication or an update from management would show that this concern is being taken seriously.
Given how long this amenity has been unavailable, I believe it is fair to request a membership credit for the downtime until the basketball goal is fully repaired and available for use again.
I hope this matter is addressed promptly, and I would appreciate both a timeline for the repair as well as confirmation regarding a credit adjustment.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I really want to like this gym. I’m not a fan of posting negative feedback but others deserve a level of transparency that is/was otherwise not available to me when meeting with the very limited staff to sign up. It’s my 2nd round of annual membership at this location, 4th round with 24HR Fitness in general, and there is a stark difference from my first time to now in the level of cleanliness, equipment maintenance and/or even equipment upgrades (Where does my, and everyone else’s, annual $60 fee even go if not directly into the pockets of the owner - very disappointing). Having limited options in Allen, TX I ended up back here again but am left with much to desire having trained at several other 24HR Fitness locations in DFW, Austin, Denver etc and seen significantly better managed facilities there. Compound that with having been training for 20+ years, I’ve seen gym quality on both ends of the spectrum and this location falls far short of goal.
I’ve worked in the industry previously and understand the varying challenges involved in managing these facilities so I am empathetic to a degree. I don’t expect unreasonable levels of cleanliness and, frankly, prefer a little dust and rust akin to the more hardcore gyms in the world but when cardio equipment appears to have layers of aged, dried, caked on sweat and strength equipment padding is missing gargantuan chunks of foam or vinyl seat/contact covers cracked and dry rotted rendering the equipment unusable or downright uncomfortable (sometimes painful) to use, a level of mental gymnastics is required on the daily to achieve the same degree of training otherwise intended in line with that day’s training plan. Further to this, much of the equipment severely lacks in lubrication, certain hardware like nuts and bolts and springs are dangerously loose if not missing altogether, and weight stack stickers and even some stack pins are missing, adding to the list of unusable equipment. Additionally, the one and only basketball backboard has been shattered/broken for months now. The men’s locker room smells profusely of rancid urine (the stalls etc are unsanitary beyond words) to the extent adjacent areas outside of the locker room entrance are repulsive almost as much as the locker room itself, this being from a lack of routine, but more importantly, effective cleaning.
It is not a lost cause nor am I intent on suggesting anyone find another gym to train because there really is great potential here. That said, I struggle with the thought of extending my membership as I can’t justify having spent the money in the first place. The cost simply doesn’t match the value as things stand today.

2.5/5 stars This gym really needs a deep cleaning. The bathrooms are never cleaned and I know this because every single time I use it there isn't any refills on disposable toilet covers, the toilet bowls arent clean, and there's so much dust all over the floors. All the work out equipment is filled with dry sweat and dust. I don't think they clean their equipments other than occasionally vacuuming. Also can't forget how more than half the treadmills and stair masters are always broken. I wouldn't recommend this location if you can avoid it!

This gym has clearly declined from its earlier standards. While most of the staff remain friendly and helpful, the primary reason for my 2-star rating is the lack of cleanliness. I've been a member for many years, and when this location first opened, it was impressive. About a year ago, there was a manager who made a noticeable effort to keep the facility clean and organized—but it seems that individual has since left. Now, the gym is so dirty that I avoid using the locker room altogether. Equipment is frequently out of service and often takes weeks to be repaired. I have a photo of an elliptical machine that’s been down so long it has collected a visible layer of dust. For a gym this new, its current condition is disappointing. Please take steps to either enforce operational standards with the current management or ensure they receive the necessary support to address these issues effectively. The current state of the facility is genuinely disappointing, especially given the abundance of gym alternatives in the area.
For the record, I have reported this before via the 24 hour Fitness/contact us page. Nothing was done so I don't feel inclined to do that again.

I'd like to give a huge shout-out to the friendly and helpful people at the front desk of 24 Hour Fitness. I was visiting from out of town, so couldn't commit to a full membership. After I paid for a three-day pass, they let me exercise for free for my remaining days in town. Though they couldn't have known it, my father had just passed away - the reason for my visit - and their kindness and generosity meant the world to me.

Love my people at 24 Hour in Fairview! Lauren, Austin, and Dom all make this gym the best! They each do their part in keeping this place clean and managed even though some of the patrons don’t practice good gym etiquette. The gym has decent equipment but I really come here only because of them! And Daniel, even though he’s moved on, he was an amazing employee too! Miss him greatly! Rating 24 hour fitness Fairview with 5 stars. I usually come in around one to three every day and have enough room to get my workout in without any interruption. The front desk people like Austin, Jennifer, and Tanner always welcome me in with open arms and are always excited to see me. After a good workout, I always love to go sit in the sauna and I love how clean everything is now In the locker room. I really encourage y’all to check out 24 hour Fairview!

Been coming here for a while, and I keep hoping things will improve, but alas. it's like a treadmill set to “meh.”
Let’s start with the obvious, cleanliness is sketchy at best. I’m not expecting a five star spa experience, but maybe mop the sweat puddles before they achieve sentience?
And the AC situation? Nonexistent. It’s 80-something degrees inside at 5:15 a.m., and I’m sweating before I even touch a dumbbell. Pretty sure I saw a kettlebell wilt from the heat.
But here’s the kicker: you’ve got “24” in your name... and yet, you close. That’s like a diner called “Always Open” locking the doors at 9. All the other locations figured out how to keep the lights on, why not this one?
Moral of the story, if you like your workouts hot, humid, and occasionally confusing, this might be your place. Otherwise, maybe try one of the actually 24-hour branches.

Bathrooms are disgusting. Pool drains are absolutely infested with black mold and worms. Pool edges are covered in algae. Always get athletes foot a few days after going to any 24hr fitness pool area. Not at all acceptable, do better.

This gym has a special place in my heart as the worst business I’ve ever been able to experience in my home state. Unfortunately, it’s the gym my high school friends would visit, so I became well accustomed to how terrible it is over several years. There’s the obvious uncleanliness, “special” managers, and overall lack of care throughout the place, but the true beauty of this place shines through their ability to take your money no matter how hard you try to suspend or cancel your account. Despite whatever AI comment they may leave under this post, I can personally promise you an experience unlike any other gym. If you are looking for whatever’s worse than the bare minimum, you’ve found your home. Despite the rough few years I’ve had here, I’d be lying if I said I got more enjoyment out of anything other than reading the negative comments about this place. Ultimately, there’ll be a day when the sun sets, and I receive a notification of this establishment closing, and that thought puts me to sleep better than any melatonin ever could. I have the regional membership with this chain, and have been to multiple locations in the DFW area.
Firstly - this location is not actually open 24 hours.
The Fairview location has a decent amount variety and amount of equipment, however, they fall to the plague of 24hr fitness of not fixing equipment for months. If it’s broken, time to find a new routine…
These gyms are constantly dirty (my main problem with this chain coming from Texas Family Fitness - RIP)
TLDR: upkeep is unexceptional, hours don’t make sense for the franchise name, and little effort is put in to make the experience better for the members that do show up. Would cancel and go to a different gym in a heartbeat if I didn’t need multiple location access / there were other options around.

I would say that the thing that bothers me more than hair on the floor more than anything at all like I would be perfectly content with dealing with those things here if you didn’t have people heckling me every time I go in and out of the damn building. I know for a fact that’s against company policy so could you please handle that because it’s making me very uncomfortable when I walk there(yes I walk there it’s close and good for part of my cardio). I don’t like it, I’m not there to be asked for money and I feel like we’re all being targeted and you’re gonna start losing memberships very soon because some of the people that stand outside, asking for money are very aggressive.
So think about it it’s a gym yeah? So the people come in here every single day, or several times a week and are getting asked for money every single time, twice a day by the same people. eventually that becomes harassment, don’t you think??
I would honestly give this place a five because most of the equipment is nice and seems to work quite well except for the leg raise machine. It needs a new seat.
But my overall concern is the hair on the floor specifically in the bathroom. I suppose also in the mirror room I haven’t been in there. It would do you some good to just sweep both rooms like other locations typically would sweep those rooms. I’ve been to many locations as I used to travel with my job And I’ve also worked at 24 hours before it’s typically the employees job too at the very least keep the hair off the floor other than that the actual gym is quite clean compared to most others like I’m willing to sit on the floor unless someone gets dirt everywhere which they did yesterday unfortunately
And perhaps vacuum the turf that’s really all I would ask
Based the look of things and having worked for a gym that had a good location manager I would suggest you get one because it doesn’t look like you have one. There’s no one really exuding authority there although the staff is quite nice the authoritative individual would be dedicating themselves to dictating tasks of cleanliness, which is what I am accustomed to.

It’s a pretty useless gym to be honest and I’ve only gone because I have a dirt cheap rate with them. The pool and jacuzzi area are constantly dirty and it looks like they don’t clean the bathroom or add paper towels. Pretty hilarious that a gym out of all places does not have working water fountains either. Lastly, the staff is pretty clueless and never actually doing their job and the TVs are always showing politics and news instead of games and entertainment. Pretty sad this gym had a lot of potential but it’s wasted with lame management and clueless owners. Stay clear guys.

1 one of four water fountains work, that should give you an idea about how much they maintain the equipment and care about their customer base. They also turned up the air conditioner in the past year so you walk in and it already feels humid and warm before you even work out. When I was in college I was in the gym at the University that had no air condition and I thought I was tough because I was working out in that gym, I don't have to prove I'm tough anymore, I'm older and want to be comfortable.

The sauna and Jacuzzi area are constantly having issues and are kind of grimey. The basketball court is disgusting with huge dust bunnies on or around the court all the time and most times the trash can is overflowing. They host a swimming school on Sundays who will kick you out the pool because they paid for it (I thought I did too but apparently not) It's next to impossible to reach the manager to get help with any billing issues and corporate is never there (they don't answer emails, from the website or the calling center which has more holidays and days off than an ISD). In short - STAY AWAY!

This facility has gone downhill for the last 12 months, and I’ve seen no sign of improvement. First off, half of the paper towel dispensers were taken down about a year ago. So, if you want to wipe down the equipment or the sweat off your face, you have to walk farther now. This also discourages people from sanitizing the equipment when they are finished, thus increasing the chance of spreading germs, viruses, and colds. The weightlifting machines are outdated and could use an upgrade. The material where you sit (cushions) is torn on a good portion of the equipment too. The machines are frequently broken and take weeks to months to be repaired. One of the free-standing cable machines breaks quite often. The leg-extension machine has been broken several times and takes weeks to be repaired. One thing that irks me most is the treadmill machines. One of the five advanced treadmills has been broken for months and remains inoperable to this day. Another one’s incline function doesn’t work at all. Some of the treadmills’ heartbeat sensors don’t work either. Many folks including myself want to know what their heart rate is in order to reach optimal levels. One of the tall water fountains has been broken for some time too. Finally, in the summer time when it’s 100+ degrees outside they raise the temperature to conserve energy, thus reduce the electric bill. I’ve noticed very few of their staff stay employed for a solid 6-12 months or more including management.
All of this indicates lack of oversight on the manager’s part, not following up on repair orders, and most importantly doing what’s best for their members. It seems the current staff do the bare minimum to maintain the facility so that it is just barely passable day after day. I’m very disappointed and will likely discontinue my membership within the next 30-60 days unless I see changes for the better.

Just got a membership here, the front desk if really nice. All the people seem nice, even when it’s crowded it doesn’t feel suffocating. My only issue would be the group fitness room needs lots of cleaning. Fingerprints and hand marks all over the mirrors, lots of dust and random debris on the floors to where it gets all over my leggings when I work out in there. Maybe should implement better cleaning schedules for the floors. I wouldn’t cancel my membership over it by any means, but needs some work.

I have been attending this gym for about a year, and unfortunately, cleanliness has always been an issue. The facility is consistently dusty, with visible clumps of hair on the floor, which makes the environment feel unhygienic. While the equipment is decent, and the staff is generally friendly, the lack of proper cleaning is disappointing. Unfortunately I am considering cancelling my membership at 24hr and joining a nearby competitor. Mainly due to the cleanliness of the facility, the lack of the cleaning stations having paper towels, bottles un filled, and condition of some of the equipment. In particular the padding on many of the benches and seat backs are cracked and split etc. However, most recently within the past 10 days I have seen an effort by one employee in particular, I believe his name is David. This guy has taken on the task of cleaning the facility. Last week he cleaned all of the mirrors, sweeping and vacuuming the floors, cleaning the locker room floors etc. David hustles and you can tell he takes pride in the facility where he works. Kudos to David. Some of the cracked and worn seat backs and benches have been replaced. I am glad to see the current efforts being applied by management and David. Hopefully this will continue going forward as routine. For the time being I will not be transferring my membership to a competitor.

I've worked out at 24 Hour Fitness in Allen/Fairview for over 7 years on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I have met many people who have become life long friends and two employees that are very friendly and helpful. Angela, one of the trainers, has helped me rehab and strengthen my body after a knee and both shoulder joint replacements. Larisa, who greets me when I enter and leave the gym, also has been very pleasant and helpful. She even helped me find my phone one day after I misplaced it.

I've been a member for more than a decade of this gym. The reason I've been a member was the business hours and accessibility to the equipment and services. Now, this particular location in Fairview has the most unorganized schedule I've seen, specially cleaning schedules. The last three times I came (In different times of the day) I was not able to use the lockers due to cleaning. The first time I was told to wait 15 minutes and it will be done. I waited for 30 and nothing happened, when I asked about it they just didn't responded. The second time I could see the signs "Cleaning" but I didn't see anyone coming in or out, the third time I was told to go to other changing rooms, but all other individual rooms were locked. I could hear the staff talking and laughing inside the lockers. I had to leave to the location in Plano where they still let you have access to lockers. Dessapointing for the way they don't care about clients. They just don't.

Our TFF gym closed down up the street a little over a year ago & this was the best option at the time. Was excited at first, but this location is loaded with that JUNKY HOIST equipment! Seems like that have tons of other issues as well from these past reviews of other members.

Went from best hot tub in the area, to worst. Jets have been broken for nearly a year now. Have inquired multiple times, mgt says parts are on order. For this long? Some of us need to rehab sports injuries, and this was the go-to spot. No longer. Very sad.

If I could give this gym a -1000 I would this is the second time that they’ve messed up my billing for my membership. I learned my lesson the first time and when they did it again I came in before the next payment to let them know that this says zero but it says I have to update my account for August, I told the girl at the front to have someone call me before the seventh so that way they could see what I’m seeing on the computer which she also showed me and said was weird. I got no call and she told me I could not have the contact of the manager that he would give me a call. Nobody called me. I come in and , they’re trying to charge me for a month that I paid for and didn’t come in for the particular card that I have. I have to literally call someone and have them email me. My statements just paid $32. He couldn’t even tell me the name of the girl that worked at that moment and saw what I saw, despite giving him the time and date that I came in and saw what I saw he said that he could have me pay again for August and September, which I told him I was not doing and now I have to cancel my whole membership and I’m just getting back in the gym from accident disheartening actually was on top of me already struggling with my mental health and now I don’t even wanna go to the gym anymore. 24 hour is literally the worst ever there’s a reason why they have 2.8 stars as an average and most of the locations because of their workers lack of communication and professionalism. It shouldn’t be hard.

Absolutely Horrible Service. I didn't want to sign on with this egregious gym but was called 5 times by their representatives offering me different deals each time. When I finally signed on with the deal for 2 months free meant for students during the summer, I found out I was charged for 2 of those 3 months and then charged an annual fee (~100$) when I was told at the beginning there would be no additional fees. I have called their gym 6 times now trying to resolve this issue but they have told me that only the general manager can help me (who has been in a meeting 3 times out of the 6 I have called) and then they never called me back when they said they would. I would recommend staying far away from this gym that has horrible customer service. They WILL scam you out of your money and they WILL charge you for bullshit reasons and make it impossible to cancel your membership.

As a long-time member, I’ve observed a noticeable decline in the standards at this gym, particularly concerning cleanliness and maintenance. During my recent visits, I’ve been consistently disappointed by the lack of attention to basic hygiene. The floors appear to have gone uncleaned for an extended period, and the state of the sinks reflects the same neglect.
What was particularly concerning during my last visit was the absence of any available cleaning supplies. Every cleaning bottle across the gym was empty, which is alarming given that it was midday and the facility was not busy. This strongly suggests that none of the machines were being sanitized regularly, which is unacceptable, especially in a fitness environment where cleanliness is crucial.
Additionally, the equipment shows signs of poor maintenance. Several machines had visible wear and tear, which not only impacts the quality of the workout but also raises concerns about safety. (Visible wear and tear of bench leather, bent wieght stack pins on machines, amongst other safety concerns.
I hope management addresses these issues promptly, as the current state of the gym falls well below expectations.

Don't go here unless you want a 6 month fight to get out of a month to month contract.
In February 2024 I was told I had to come in to cancel, so I did just that. I filled out the ppwk and the girl at the front desk said she'll give it to the manager and handle it from there. I didn't realize until May that I was still being charged, so the next incompetent lady at the front desk told me that I didn't have to come in, and there was no form to fill out and she'll definitely get my membership canceled.
Only to realize today that I'm still being charged for a month to month membership that I haven't used since February 2024. SMH! I called again today and finally got a confirmation email that says my cancellation is being processed. The previous two girls told me that it takes about 2-3 days to generate the email. So if you're going to cancel make sure before you get off the phone with them that you have that automated email or your membership will still be active.

I am very disappointed with the current state of the gym. It is extremely dirty and filthy. The shower area is especially gross; while I was showering, I noticed the vent filled with dust, which means people can end up breathing in dust while they shower (see pictures).
Previously, the gym provided plastic bags in the shower area for wet swimsuits, but now there isn't a single bag available. Additionally, the steam room smells like mold, and the pool has a significant layer of dirt underwater.
Management urgently needs to take action to address these hygiene issues and restore the facility to its former standards.

New to the area (crashing at a friends house till I can get an apartment). Wanted to check out the gym in the area and was delighted that they had a 3 day pass so I filled out the form online. I had a great workout and returned the next day for my second trial day. Upon arrival, the sales manager told me I wouldn’t be permitted in unless I can prove I live in the area. I explained my circumstances and that I was already allowed in the day prior. She claimed it was in the fine print so I asked her to show me where it states that. She couldn’t show me without pulling up a separate document that isn’t provided anywhere when signing up for the trial. She then refused to honor the pass, got super unprofessional and kicked me out claiming I clearly was never planning to get a gym membership. Super disappointing cause I was planning on joining there after my trial.

It's hard to Justify a membership with 24 hour fitness and this gym exemplifies why. The only positives are that this facility is 24 hours, and they have the equipment for serious training as opposed to , say, a Planet Fitness. THAT SAID, the staff don't seem to take their jobs seriously, it's more a social club to them, and it shows in how dirty the facility is. I don't think it makes me a jerk to expect them to at least keep the sanitary stations stocks. but they never are. The pool and spa water is usually some shade of green, the bathrooms are disgusting, the dumbbells, as others have stated, smell, and the crowd here vs the Lewisville, Fairview and Plano locations are super inconsiderate / lame. There is definitely a peacock problem at this gym that makes it hard to get a complete workout in but that's not 24HF's fault. Other than that the cardio equipment is frequently broken. Personally I'm keeping an eye on EOS Fitness.

This club has gone down hill from always being dirty to know one showing up to open the club on weekends, to the people working not even paying attention to you, anyone could walk into this club and the managers do not seem to care, so think twice before joining and read the reviews they are all pretty bad.

If anyone is a member of 24 hour fitness and wants to cancel their membership I highly recommend you cancel significantly in advance. My 20 year old daughter cancelled online. My husband went in person to make sure we were not going to get billed (as we know they try to make cancellations difficult from what we read online). He screenshotted the proof that it was cancelled off the 24 hour fitness computer. The person working there assured him we would not get billed. And we still got billed. Now they are telling my husband he has to contact corporate, which there is not a number. You have to contact via computer. From reading online this is a common occurrence. I hope this helps someone not go through the stress of having to get in touch with corporate because for some reason the Fairview site was not able to correctly cancel when my husband went in person within the allotted cancellation time frame.

Signed up for the free 3 day trial before going into the gym. When I went in, the person working at the front desk vaguely asked me why I was there. When I said that I was there to workout, he rudely refused to allow me to use the trial and accused me of working out there without the intention of getting a membership in the future, although I was planning on checking out the gym and potentially getting a membership based on my experience there.

Should be called very few hours fitness. When I returned to this gym, nobody said a word about not being open 24 hours as they took my money for the whole year. This branch is still only open 8 am to 6 pm weekends and closes at 9 pm fri. They recently expanded to 10 pm weekdays. As if that wasn't bad enough, they stress you out for the last hour by constantly cutting the music to announce that they are closing soon. Tonight some guys were at the door poaching customers for anytime fitness. They should really have to change the name at this point. It is fraud imo. Otherwise, this WOULD be a great gym. They kick you out of a 24 hour gym at 8 pm. You would think they were gonna clean, but the commitment to filth is impressive.

It's NEVER opened on time like 5AM.We are forced to wait in the parking lot or go Plano or McKinney.No apologies.Mens bathrooms,locker rooms stink dirty, and NEVER cleaned.The jacuzzi jets are weak.Water is always dirty.No bleach.PLEASE find good reliable staff and pay your staff well.See photos at 5.30am 03-28-2024 customers waiting to for the gym to open.Such an inconvenience for early risers.

Counselor/manager refused to cancel membership over the phone despite me not having used my membership in over a year and now living over an hour away. The club was trashed and filthy then and I’m sure nothing has changed.

Equipment and pools are constantly broken. Hot tubes jets have been out 3 weeks. Sauna and stream room work off and on. Water was looking a little off yesterday. Show up today 3/2/2024 and the water is disgusting. No signs 🪧 or roped off.
