Slightly sketchy but serviceable + all I can use is the pool ssssssssssso not the best person to say about machines, weights and things like that.

Pool is in good shape and the chlorine level is kept at a sane level so no burning eyes from 20 feet away or anything. Ladders are secure and no visible damage to surface or finish.

Locker room (men's) could REALLY use some help: numerous busted locking rings - obviously from robberies, mostly no shower curtains and one shower enclosure looks to have been broken a lonnnnnnng time, staff just tossed empty body wash refills on floor, lotsa (gang?) tags... things like that.

Staff has been nice enough and even friendly when telling me (ignorant or closing) to please get out of the pool and sharing my unhappy about 24hr not being 24hr.
~
Closing early was initially a pandemic response which corporate decided to keep, though in this location I'm sure it's also due to insurance concerns since... you know... South Houston 😳

Staffs here are great, friendly and helpful.
Issues I have here are outdated equipment, unsanitary restroom (men specifically), moldy shower, and unaccounted guests that crowded the basketball court.
I am new in the area so I kindly asked to be next in line for the game, not only the court is “reserved” without proper AC running but I’m also not allowed to play with them. I literally saw people can walk into this gym to work out and get on the basketball court as a “buddy”. I understand the buddy pass system but please check and account for the guest count.

The staff asked me to leave a review so here it is: Honestly this gym has declined in quality severely over the past few years. It used to be very nice and well maintained. The men’s restroom is always in poor condition and one of the urinals was missing for roughly 9 months. At one point in time about half the equipment was broken and took MOTHNS to fix. Half of the treadmills and cardio equipment don’t work either. Most of the machine are in poor shape and or damaged. I would not recommend this gym to anyone who values cleanliness and quality. The only good part about this gym is its location is convenient.

Signed for the free 3 day trial, staff was friendly. Other customers were nice. Only complaint is the locker room was very humid and a little warm, need to get some better AC in there. But considering I was able to get a decent workout in and was on a 3-day trial it's not worth taking off a star.

Very dirty, piled up dust between every machine. Restrooms, sauna, steam rooms don’t have a clean feel. Showers are disgusting. It’s been getting worse and worse every year. I hope they do something to maintain this place clean for members to enjoy their workouts in a clean environment.
