It's your typical fitness club. It's nice and has great customer service. The equipment is a little dated but I wish they had a couple lifting platforms to do deadlifts and Olympic lifting ect.

Yesterday was my first time in this gym in about three years. The place is still is good shape; I didn’t find any broken equipment although some of it is showing its age. They did have a few new machines, too. I also like that this gym isn’t nearly as crowded as the one I use now (Houston area).

This place is a hole in the wall. Old equipment. New rude male manager and I left because of him. I don’t have time or money to be treated like that. Had been there almost 3 yrs. Moving on! I found a way nicer gym, kind management, closer, less per month, with newer equipment and people actually put their equipment away/wipe it down when done at this new place.

It's an okay gym. Nobody racks up their weights in the benching/squatting/Overhead Press stations. The water fountain near the squat racks still has a vanilla stain near the drain. It's been there for months.

Been working out here for over five years and it's great. Staff is nice and welcoming. My young kids love the kid care center and the staff who work in there. Everyone who works out here is friendly and chill. The equipment is well used but not broken and there are plenty of machines and weights to go around. I haven't been to any classes and don't use the pool or showers so I can't comment on that. I'm primarily in free weights, rowing, or bikes.

Bruuuuuhhh, I came because it was close. I now know why my typical 24 is packed during lunch and this one is nothing but tumbleweeds and crickets. It's not a 24 hour fitness. It's a representation of what 24 Hour Fitness would look like post apocalypse. The free weights are sloughing their skin like a Vietnamese child after a napalm run. The entire place feels gross and infectious. I'm fairly certain I'm now incubating some heretofore anonymous pathogen.
Mom, if I die in the isolation ward of a local hospital, surrounded by stymied doctors in hazmat suits, have them check into the 35,000 sq ft petri dish in Lewisville. Then, since we aren't cooking Southeastern Asian children anymore, have them use the napalm on this place. Write "FROM B" on the bomb....

Great gym, adequately large since it has the bball and pool. Only giving 4 stars because some of the plate weights were chipped up pretty bad and the dumbbells were really worn out to where the numbers were written in. Just needs to renew some equipment.

This is a nice neighborhood gym. Though the equipment could be better maintained, the staff are friendly and helpful. There is a need for more equipment (lifting bars, plate weights, kettle bells, etc...) but the overall location is good, the Gym is clean and well lit. The cost is quite agreeable as well. There are plenty of items for sale in the reception area.

I recently tried this 24 hour fitness and so far I’ve been really pleased with the facilities and the staff has been very friendly. The parking lot is lit up nicely so that when I workout either super early in the morning or really late at night I feel safe walking to and from my car. The sauna is really nice and I think it’s a little bigger than the one I’ve been going to. But as of right now this is my new home gym because it’s super close to my apartment and jobs.

Been a 24hr member for years, been to at least 5 different clubs in the DFW area. The Lewisville club is a dump. The equipment is not maintained well. Stair steppers slip, weights look like they have been rolled down the street. Wish they would put some money into this club to fix and modernize it. About time to switch to L.A.

Love the staff and the training program. The classes are so fun and the staff is super friendly. They meet the expectations they can do for there staff if any issues. As far as the gym and equipment, everything fictions properly the cycle room looks like new as well as the class room. The basketball court may need some touch ups as well as the pool and sauna/ steam room just an major upkeep since it is an old building but I do believe the members deserve it since they invest there money into the amenities. Not many of the members say anything because they think its not going to change anything that's why they don't say anything. But it should recieve some updates. It could pull in more people.

This is an excellent gym although it is pricier than anything else around. You can always catch special deals. It is the only gym within miles that has a pool. It also has a hot tub, a wet sauna and a dry sauna. The activity level is low because it is a 24 hour gym, so you rarely have to compete for equipment. The only downside is the price and lack of classes really.

This location appears to be neglected by the company. You're constantly looking for weights because there doesn't seem to be enough plates to go around. They are missing several barbells for the bench press stations and you have to move bars with you as you change stations.

HORRIBLE GYM! Signed up under friend on promo. Paid first n last months dues. Was told annual fee due after 3rd month. The took annual fee 2 weeks later. They took my card information and put it on my friends account. I asked for a refund and my card to be taken off. Mind you...its my card with a different members name on main account. They refused. My name is DB. Friend is SS. HOW IN THE HELL ARE YOU GONNA TELL ME YOU CANT TAKE MY CARD OFF SOMEONE ELSE'S ACCOUNT? Then about the refund I was told 3 different things by 3 different people. Refund in 7 to 10 business days...refund in 2 to 3 days..no refund. The last one (after i cxld my card) said I didnt give her time to explain. I explained..u said no refund...i called my bank reported fraud and i will be getting a new card.
I never authorized them to pay my friends account...only mine....SO u want free gym membership....use someone elses card for payments...cause even if that person shows up they wont take it off because " we need another card to put on it". I seriously have no clue why people like 24 hour. Cheaper better cleaner friendly gyms everywhere.
WARNING. They will charge your card on someone elses account and tell u to go screw yourself
I only joined to w/o with friend. Yes membership cxld.
I will get refund...in one way or another

UPDATE: Bank agreed with me, got annual fee refunded and new card, 24 hour fitness I will never go back and I will tell everyone I know

The gym isn't for everyone but it is perfect for me. I have been a member for about 2 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. The equipment is broken in but super high quality. Full Super Center. This location is never "packed up" Of course love the flexibility that its a 24 location. Clean Facility. Cleaning crew always in there cleaning. Pool, Whirlpool, & steam room kept up and clean. People are courtesy and inviting. Members keep to themselves. Ladies, don't have to worry about men in this one. They keep to themselves. plenty of parking with well lite areas for safety. Walmart across the street and other places to eat. Would recommend this location for anyone in the Lewisville/Flower Mound area.

I am filing a complaint regarding an annual fee of $54.11 that was billed to my account. I have never paid an annual fee and I am not sure why I would be charged one. I called the main location where I work out and the lady explained that it is for the policy that I got for my daughter. So I called the location where I opened the account due to her trainer that works her out there in the gym. That is the only reason why I added her to the policy. I've only had the membership for I guess three months now and paying $24.95 monthly with tax for her membership. It was explained to me over the phone that after three months that I would be charged an annual fee. Well this was new to me. I never heard of it before. I would've never agreed to such terms especially for an additional membership where I could easily go elsewhere and not pay an annual fee that is something I would've definitely questioned if it was explained to me. I spoke with Will at the Lewisville location and he stated also that he has a tremendous amount of people that don't recall or agreeing to the annual fee, but that it is in our paperwork that we signed. That never even occurred to me since I already have a membership there and the gentleman who signed me up never explained that to me. His name is Michael Powell. I am angry and my account is short because of this. You just can't go around charging accounts when the customer is not even aware. It is also disturbing to me that Will mentioned that they have a lot clients who have the same complaint as I do that tells me that 24-hour is not doing their job. He also explained that he could have a manger call me back and they could offer me a credit of one month's premium. I am not looking for that. I am looking to be fully refunded and I am also considering cancelling the membership for my daughter and myself depending on the outcome. I am thoroughly disappointed and everyone if you're a new member or adding someone consider some place where you don't have to pay a monthly fee and an annual fee. 24-hour is just getting over on people and it's not right.

I work out all hours at this gym and Lorraine is the nicest, most professional front desk person you will encounter.

She is always picking up weights, straightening up equipment, making sure there is sanitizer and paper towels, cleaning up the locker rooms and manages to personally interact with every member that comes in. I am always greeted with a smile and by name. She always asks about my family and work. . .amazing!

This gym needs many more front desk people like Lorraine, she's the reason I still come to this location. It is run down from the former club manager's lack of interest in keeping members happy by keeping the club in great shape.

New club manager, take note that Lorraine is awesome and please work on getting the gym back to clean and excellent condition.

Front desk staff more interested in what's on their phone than their job. They are more combative than helpful. Machines are old and in need of repair. I reported the same elliptical machine over a 2 month period and it has not been repaired. They put in new spin bikes in 2015. These are base models, no computers where other cheaper clubs are putting in high quality advanced machines. Bathrooms have large signs of mold and they have poor ventilation. They stink pretty bad. The club is large. I rarely if ever need wait for a bench or machine. Watch your step going in, members throw their gum on the ground as you enter, it is never cleaned off.
It has a pool, jacuzzi,a steam and dry heat sauna. The cost is about 30.00 monthly which is 1/3 the cost of Lifetime. I would recommend passing up on this club unless you absolutely need a pool. Or consider L.A. Fitness if you need a pool. Other local fitness clubs without a pool will cost about 10 to 20 monthly.

I came to location for 1st time hoping to utilize my guest past to check out the location and the basketball court because I was considering a membership. I was greeted by Lorraine and thought this would be a great experience. She then told me that I wouldn't be able to utilize my guest pass at that time and apologized for no one informing on the policy of hours of use for the pass. Obviously I was extremely disappointed and was really looking forward to checking out the facility. Keep in mind there was NO ONE in there at all so you would tjink exposure would be good. I do understand policies and respect them. Here is where the issue began she referred me to their competitor Fitness connection down the street and gave me directions and said they had a basketball court and they are 24 hours as well. Honestly I was sold on the location from her just talking about it. I went to location and learned they had no basketball court. Obviously I was disappointed driving up there after all the details she provided on the location. I called 24 hour fitness to kindly let her know there was no court and she truly inconvenienced me by not allowing me to utilize the facility to have me drive to a location that didn't have a court. She then cut me off and said "I was polite to you but I could have been rude to you". This is not something that you say to a potential customer that is upset/disappointed. Again Lorraine no reason to be difficult by selling me on a location that didn't have what I needed and definitely was uncalled for to provide me that feedback about how you could have been rude. That is not how you gain customers especially with sending people to your competitor. Was interested but not if I have to deal with someone being disrespectful to a customer because the customer had enough respect to kindly provide an update on what was advised.

Brought my uncle from out of town to just work out for one day with a pass bc he was thinking about getting a membership where he was from and girl on duty who wasn't the manager told him he had to pay $20 to work out at the gym that day. I had just moved the to the area and I signed up for a three day trial here. Received an e-mail for the trial that said to print or bring your phone to show the employees. Once I got to the gym, they said that you have to print the pass to be allowed in and no exceptions, even though the e-mail stated I could show the phone to the front desk. I then suggested that I e-mail them the pass so they can print it out and they replied with a blatant no. I then asked if they'd be willing to lose a customer over this and they just shrugged their shoulders. Left that gym in a hurry. I did notice how dirty and old the equipment this gym had. Also, to enter the gym members have to type a 10 digit code and use the fingerprint at the desk as if this gym was a military base. Proceeded to drive to LA fitness where I was taken care of by friendly and personable staff.

I put hated it because my wife and I both signed up right after we had our 3rd baby and during the tour and sign-up process it was never mentioned to me that it costs $25 for the first kid and more for the rest of them for the Kids area. So I show up and can't get my kids in there without paying an additional $12/day or ~$50/month. We cancelled my wife's membership needless to say.

Beyond that, it's not a bad place. The machines are really old, but not crowded most of the time. Bathrooms and showers usually dirty. The fact they have a pool will probably keep me with them but there is a new Planet Fitness not too far away.

Been a member here for seven or eight years -- only keep the membership because of my annual deal that I originally signed up for. 24 Fitness may be one of the worst managed companies on Earth. While the equipment is in dire need to be updated as are the facilities, the major problem is NO MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNTABILITY. Policies are RARELY enforced. Men's locker room resembles a natural disaster area (having to get dressed and undressed with water on floors). Even when only one or two cars in parking lot -- there are more than 18 lockers with locks on them in locker room area. Showers -- recent visit only four of the eight (actually seven, since one is a handicapped shower) had soap in the dispenser. Paper towel dispensers (as are the mist sprays for wiping down machines, which virtually NO ONE does) are often empty as are the spray dispenses (which are also not anchored to prevent inconsiderate members from taking them). Underage kids are allowed in workout area; motor cycles are parked on sidewalk (and motorcycles and other vehicles are illegally park in ares where there should be no parking). Lockers are often found with workout clothes and items in them even when not locked. Members "reserve" several machines at once (leaving their gym bags, towels, beverage containers, etc. at one machine while working out at another). Sound system BLASTS that garbage so loud -- that may contribute to registering on the Richter Scale. Mgrs/Asst Mgrs seem to come and go about every two months (which explains why there are no business cards); akin to the Catholic Church recycling pedophyle priests (just moving bad mgrs from one location to another). There have also been lice problems in the kids area over the years. Seems to have become more for hangouts for gangs than a gym to workout.

I live in Denton, TX, and I work in downtown Fort Worth. Sometimes I visit family in Grand Prairie. That being said, I use two 24 hour fitness clubs in Fort Worth (off Horne St and I-30; off Western Center and I-35N), the Arlington gym on Arbrook, and this gym.

This is the best 24 hour fitness gym that I know of for a weightlifter. This gym has almost every weightlifting equipment you could think of. There is plenty of space to walk around. I normally go to this gym on the weekends, but I am thinking about going every day instead, because the extra 20 minutes of driving for me is definitely worth it for me. I wish all the 24 hour fitness clubs were modeled after this one.

Keep in mind that I said that this is the best gym for a weightlifter. The cardio machines in my opinion are a bit out of date. There are much better cardio machines out there now that this gym could definitely use (like those computerized cycle machines that emulates the cycling classes or those new yellow/grey ellipticals that cycle through the air).

Another item I would like to see at this club are more muscle clamps.
