Why is this gym not open yet? I understand the need to be careful but other gyms are opening while taking measures. This one still closed. I can't even get anyone on the phone, been paying for months and absolutely zero use.

It has all the equipment you need to be successful and I love it. The only draw back is if it gets too busy, but you can vary your time to miss the crowds.

I love the weights, my wife likes the classes and cardio machinery, and my kid loves the outside pool during the summer.

I have been a member at this club for 7 years now... physical layout is great... lots of equipment and amenities. For the most part it is kept fairly clean.. pool and hot tub could be a little cleaner. There is a lot of equipment that needs to be updated or replaced. A lot of the rear row treadmills don’t work. The 95c life cycles are two or three generations outdated and the resistance on them does not work on 3 out of the 4 they have. I have emailed the GM more times than I can remember and have given up. When a piece of equipment goes down it can literally take weeks and in some cases months to repair with the excuse of parts are on order being given... totally unacceptable. It just seems like there is little to no reinvestment in what was really a great facility with a great location. I have reached out to both the corporate office as well as the club’s GM, and operations manager... but nothing changes. Pflugerville needs a Lifetime Fitness to come in and give the area fitness regulars a choice in places to work out. I work out 7 days a week and it is a shame this great club has been managed into what it is today. Staff is great and recent loss of towel service are mentioned a lot in other reviews.. towel loss no biggie for me... staff is very friendly. My concern is how corporate does not reinvest in the club, update and add new equipment, and lets equipment be out if order for far too long. As I write this review, the steam room is broken and out if commission for 2nd straight day.... ugh. .

Recently canceled membership. They have raised prices but cut services. Equipment is old and need of repairs. Cardio equipment is terrible. Machines are old, dirty, and buttons falling off. Padding on most machines are worn out. This gym has fallen off. Was told they have been approved for new equipment. Whatever!!

First Google Review ever. First review ever. I don't complain a whole lot but this organization is SHADY! I was under my sister's account but she lost her job and called in to cancel. Since she is the primary account holder, you would think that when you cancel your account, it cancels those that are under your umbrella, especially when you tell the rep that you LOST YOUR JOB. At no point did that rep mention that the other 2 memberships under her umbrella would be cancelled as well even knowing she was in a hard situation. She gets charged anyways and calls to find out why. They "apologize" and tell her if I call in to cancel that the charges will be refunded. I call, give account details and phone call hangs up on the transfer several times. After several attempts I finally speak to a rep and of course they have "no records of a rep approving the refund." Again I remind them that this person has lost their job, called in to cancel and was deceived but they didn't care. Asked if they are willing to lose a customer for life for a whopping $36 dollars that means nothing to them but a world of difference for someone that lost their job. They didn't care.

My family has been member of this 24 hour fitness for 6 years now. What I love about this place is the people that work here. The reason I am writing this review is David in front desk (in night shift). David is the kindest and most hard-working man we have ever seen in our life!! David always greets us with smiling face, asks how we are doing, and he knows me and my family members by name! He is always looking for ways to make this facility better. Even at night while I am working out, I see him walking around and making sure everything is ok with this gym!! I hope management is noticing this gentleman's great work! What an honor to have an employee like him!

Great facility. BUT this gym has recently slid downhill. They have discontinued towel service under the guise of β€œgoing green” and water conservation though all members towels are still washed at home using the same water source, debunking that idea.
At the same time they have raised their dues, even if just by a few dollars. Staff says dues increase is to maintain better equipment and buy new machines yet nobody maintains them, in fact they have machines in disrepair. One station has been broken for over a month now and management gives the same answer when asked when or if it will be repaired, β€œparts are on back order”, even though one can readily see the same parts listed online for overnight delivery. I havent seen a new machine in years so it appears management just wants to justify the increase. Costs go up and I understand that, but be honest with your customers rather than treat everyone as ignorant. That leaves one to wonder what their business model is. Raise dues, Lower service, free up staff (no more laundering), yet nobody other than the cleaning woman seems to do very much and Austinites who seem so complacent, seem not to care. Go in with your eyes open.

Apparently this gym doesnt want my money! I went in Friday to try the 3 day pass and try out some of the classes. I went in at 530 for the cycling class so obviously there was no sales associate available to talk about memberships I asked the front desk person to have someone call me, I want to join since my company is now a preferred employee I just needed to figure out adding my kids and knowing how much would be due each month. The main reason I wanted someone to call me Friday so I could join was the $0 initiation. No one called, Saturday no one called. So I call Sunday to ask if someone can give me prices and the all the girl continued to tell me was " I dont know what company you work for so I wouldn't know the rates and you will have to come in to add your kids to create the profile" so there's no one that I can talk to that can pull up the rates to let me know what I'm looking at paying up front and monthly?
Customer service is everything to me and I have never been so dissatisfied with a gym's service. I'll take my business elsewhere since no one can seem to give me answers and help me with simple questions.

This 24 hour is seriously amazing. Great staff! Super friendly and helpful. They genuinely care about you! Kids club staff have all been very helpful and caring. My kids absolutely adore them. My daughter asks EVERYDAY to go see the staff! Always very welcoming and warm. Always know who you are and make you feel welcome. Gym is always clean and you see the staff cleaning even the GM is cleaning with the staff. Bathrooms always well kept. Great options of equipment.

Nice staff, clean lockers, clean gym area and very convenient location however there is no hip thrust machine, the only assistanted smith machine is broken, no space for mats for stretching or foam rolling, no water bottle filling stations only fountains, and every hand sanitizer is broken. These things are not a deal breaker for me, but would add more value and help in competition other gyms in the area.

I would like to state that I spoke with Rick the manager, and while I was appreciative of his time, he did not disclose all charges. I spoke with him directly and we got very specific on charges. He never once mentioned the annual fee. Also I was told twice by an employee that I could join for 36.99 + tax. (a reasonable charge that I was ready to sign up for. This was also not true.

Been a member since they opened....pricing is high....unless you use the pool and all the other features...I only use treadmill and some weights so it’s a bit extreme....problem is they don’t ensure machines are always working...no new treadmills put in since they have opened and often a few are not available and they don’t ensure place is clean. No signs to make sure patrons always wipe down machines etc....it’s close and it’s a large gym so I keep going just wish they would reinvest a bit more

Best 24 Hour fitness in Austin! I never have to wait for any squat racks or machines to open up. The sauna and bathrooms are so clean and well maintained that I wish the 24 hour fitness gyms back home (SoCal) were this clean and well maintained. Good job Pflugerville!

Canceling my membership due to the condition of the gym and un-maintained equipment. The equipment is filthy and greasy with dirt and grime built up in the corners. The treads are not lubricated and some of the weight lifting machines are missing screws and bolts (scary). When we tell front desk staff they look up long enough to listen to your concern and go right back to playing with their smartphones or talking to each other while ignoring the customers. Joining Gold's Gym which is clean, has working equipment, and friendly staff.

I’ve been going to this gym for a little more than a month now, and it is a great, clean facility. The treadmills need to be updated or replaced to compete with other gyms in the area. Some of the equipment needs to be replaced, but the facilities are great. It’s a great atmosphere and easy to navigate.

This is more so a review of the 24 Hour corporation in general. The Pflugerville location is ok...absolutely nothing special. Most of the staff seem to be nice/personable. You would think for almost $50/month they would at least have free wi-fi, but they do not. I called a few months back to lower my monthly rate since my husband and I had FINALLY reached our 3 year contract date. They lowered the rate quite nicely, but neglected to tell me that the rate was only good for THREE months. I found that out today after a phone call to customer service and seeing that my rate was back up to the original amount. I learned that tenure means absolutely nothing to this company. I was informed that I should be happy that I am paying TWO dollars less than people who sign up today. TWO whole dollars and I have been a member since 2014. Shame on you 24 Hour Fitness.

Actually a decent facility, overall, but from there it goes downhill.

I explained to the manager on-duty that I'd had a change of status regarding access to a gym at work, and he told me I had to come in to cancel. As a consumer, I could just go through my bank, change card numbers, or ask to stop payment, and see where that goes, I guess. I find it manipulative to force me to come in to cancel. I explained to the MOD (Ken, who said he can't do anything about it, because he's over personal training only) that I needed to cancel. I gave the opportunity of a service recovery, saying that I would refuse to give higher than a one-star review for a company that essentially holds their members hostage, requiring you to come in before you cancel (very salesy, nice touch of class). I don't appreciate being treated this way as a customer, and find it divisive, and feel that it should not be legal to refuse to acknowledge phone notification of a request to cancel. If someone lets you know they want out, you should legally and ethically be required to accept cancellation, because to refuse is effectively to charge someone's card without permission. This was NOT a dispute over when services would be cut off or whether I had to pay for the whole month, or whatever. 24 Hour Fitness simply refuses to take phone cancellations, not caring what your situation is. I will not accept that and, should my situation change (really good free work gym), I'd still look to go elsewhere, knowing what has happened in the past.

24-Hour Fitness management was given 2 chances for me to discuss the availability of squat racks, the cardio equipment available, and its condition, different machines, other areas (basketball, pool, etc.). I can speak to all of those, as someone who has given them money through times when I worked out frequently, and times when I didn't, over about a 2-year span. But they chose to make it about forcing me to come in to (I assume) try to talk me out of cancelling instead. While I understand that there may be corporate policies in place, this individual manager should also have taken the personal responsibility to take down my info and contact the membership manager to avoid the negative review and respond to reasonable customer request, and avoid the gym being portrayed as a place that just wants your money and is impersonal and uninterested in actual customer service.

They will promise everything to get you to join, but then it is pretty much over after that, nobody knows anything or can change anything, and then if you want to leave, they make it difficult.

Terrible Management and overpriced! I had been with them since 2015 but my membership just kept going up. I was very unhappy when, I decided to come with my 12 year old for a workout. It was supposed to be his 1st time there on the floor and a father son moment, but instead I had the General Manager questioning the height of my kid and basically made him feel horrible. He is a little short for his age but he gets that pointed out all day long at school. I decided to keep my cool there while I was talking to this GM, but this guy has no clue on how to formally provide a professional customer service conversation. I left and while in route home, my boy was silently crying because of what the GM said out loud. I did return and cancel my membership. I will go elsewhere with my Son.

Filled with high school kids playing around in the free weights section, gym bros throwing weight around and never racking anything, dirty locker rooms and unprofessional staff on their phones most of the time. Trainers look like they need their own trainers and sadly the people getting trained know no better than to follow their methods. Only time this location is worth going to is during dead time on Sunday afternoons but for $45 a month it's not worth it at all for a so called Super Sport.

The worst customer services of all time!!! I call corporate since I have moved states and as for access to one gym. I have been a member for 10 years. They say no problem just speak to the general manager. I have been in there 4 different times over the last month and no phone calls back. I call corporate again and they send an email to have the general manager call me. Nothing.... I call corporate again and now they say after 1.5 months of pursuing this that Texas has different laws for gym transfers than California and that they cannot help me.

The staff is incredibly friendly. They're always smiling and saying hello which is very good in a gym environment where not everyone is comfortable. Particularly Micah Smith went above and beyond when helping us set up our memberships. He made sure that we understood every upcoming fee. Even after we signed up, he continued to follow up with us and make sure that we knew where everything was and we were enjoying ourselves. This gym is one big room which can be intimidating to a lot of people but the staff really assists with this. This gym offers a lot of equipment and classes. I'm very happy with our choice.

I signed up for a pass and visited but will not be purchasing a membership. Much of the equipment is somewhat older, dirty and even rusty. A cleaning woman never left the men's locker room while I was there, very uncomfortable. Towels and water bottles were laying around discarded. The pool was dirty. This is the most expensive gym in the area, not worth it.

Amazing gym, hands down the best facility and equipment in the Pflugerville area. They have every machine you can imagine, and I love the two pools, steam room and sauna. There are a few negatives, one the price is high, 50+ per month for even a basic membership, and sometimes it is not as clean as I would like the gym to be, the steam room sometimes smells like bleach which you are literally breathing in fumes because it was not washed out well but overall the gym is great.

Nice facility and staff. My 2 concerns are: 1) The volume of the music in the classes is ear piercing and my ears buzz for 3 hrs. after a class. They really need to be as conscious of ear health as they are of body fitness. 2) Classes are great but sometimes I think the instructors are not conscious of the safety of the moves and the potential for injury. There have been a number of injuries in the class, particularly middle aged, fit people. Note: America is a graying nation and businesses must learn to keep this in mind when it comes to their clients.

The classes are great - WHEN A TRAINER SHOWS UP. This is the 3rd time that I've gone to a 5:30AM class and there is no trainer there to cover someone on vacation.
