My experience at 2nd chance fitness has always been amazing and what keeps us motivated other than the environment created by the coaches, are the challenges that they create to keep us moving, become competitive within our selves and most importantly challenge us to become better. I participated in the little black dress challenge which was a 6 week challenge to gain strength, muscle, lose fat and focus not only on consistent training but also to focus on our diet. Coach Grayland has been the best supporter. He helped me create consistent diet & training. I have never felt more confident in myself after this challenge! It was an amazing opportunity to help me gain more knowledge on the lifestyle we should have when we put in the time to consistently workout. I recommend 2nd chance fitness and all its events/challenges to anyone! 10/10!!

I tried it back in 2022 for a 6 weeks challenge and had so much fun! Fast forward to 2023, I had 2 foot surgeries and once I was cleared to walk again and for physical activity, I struggled with basic walking and going on my tip toes. I knew I needed to move my body and start losing the extra weight I gained when I was immobile for 8 months post op so I decided to go back to 2nd chance because remembered how the trainers cam modify workouts! I had ZERO balance and I wasn't comfortable even jumping. anyways, after 3 months of going consistently not only was I shedding a fee pounds, more importantly I was able to walk straight and do jumping jacks!! The trainers also help with meal plans so now after 9 months, Im able to walk barefoot, RUN, and I'm down over 30 pounds. 2nd Chance Fitness helped mw with more than my fitness, they changed my lifestyle and made me better.

I love Mansfield boot camp I saw results in a month I started to lose body fat and gain muscle something that would be impossible for me love the people that work out with me and Shawn the owner his so nice and answer all your questions every time I come out that door I come out so so sore and I love it there not playing I recommend the boot camp everything really clean and the trainers make you feel like your family 😊✌💪💪💪

I found this gym on a whim. I had lost myself and needed something that was missing from my life. The minute I walked in I felt at home. I instantly met friends who soon became family. I was out of shape and needed accountability and found it. From the trainers to the people I work out with it was instant. I work harder than I ever have and have the results to show it. This gym is my home and I am forever grateful for it. You will not be disappointed at all.

Joined 2nd Chance Fitness in October. Love that every day the workout is different, you get cardio and strength training, the trainers are on the floor with you throughout the entire workout to make sure you are doing it right and they are all knowledgeable and encouraging. I was shocked at the lack of customer service when I called, they must have enough people that they don’t care to explain their program. I had called to get some information. I asked one question and the gentleman who answered the phone, didn’t even say I was calling the company he just said hello as if I was calling him personally, I had to ask if I was calling the business number then the information was never given to me. but before he hung up on me, he said yeah it’s a six week program. OK goodbye never explained what they do.!! THEY DONT NEED CLIENTS.

Absolutely love this place and the workouts are really great! The trainers have been very helpful and focus on each person getting the best results. They help you along the way with each circuit in the workout. You’ll work hard but the results are worth it! I love this gym!!! When I started here at the gym a few years ago I felt like my fitness was at a standstill. I felt like I couldn't lose weight no matter what I did. For about the first 3-4 days, my body was so sore I could hardly move! But with just a few weeks going consistently, I started seeing results. A combination of their workout for just 30 (hardcore) minutes and eating right really did it for me! The trainers are super friendly, motivating, and ready to go through your fitness journey with you. I highly recommend this gym!

Long post warning, but good stories always take a little time to tell.
Seems like a long time ago, but in 2018 I sat in my doctor's office listening to some pretty rough test results. At one point, he even told me that on my current path I was going to die. His recommendation, was prescription based. In his defense, he had been telling me to change my lifestyle for a long time, but at this point, I had let things get out of hand. I had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, and I was pre-diabetic. My weight at my heaviest was around 260. I begged him to give me time. I didn't want the list of complications that came along with the medicine added to an already long list of issues I was experiencing due to my poor health. September 2018, I left my doctor's office at one of the lowest points in my life with a list of precriptions and a follow up appointment.
I spent the next 2 months wrestling with fad diets, researching quick fixes, and generally doing the same thing I did every other time. My weight fluctuated some, but it wasn't going to be sustainable, as I wasn't really committed to the change, and saw anything I was doing a bridge to continue a lifestyle ultimately detrimental to my health.
Thank God for my wife!
For our wedding anniversary in December, she signed us up at 2nd Chance Fitness on a 21 day challenge. I met Shawn Serfass for my weigh in, initial measurements, was given a meal plan, and told that if I put in the work, I could drop weight and get in better shape. Me being me, I was sceptical. I made excuses for why the meal plan wouldn't work, or why I couldn't do the exercise. Shawn gave me things I could do to make the diet fit my issues, and encouraged me to give the exercise a try. I even remember hearing go at your own pace at one point. I tried to make excuses for why it wasn't going to work, but Nancy reminded me, that she had paid for this, and I was going to at least try.
I showed up to the first workout. About 30 minutes later, covered in sweat and breathing hard, I had survived. I will not say that I did all the exercises correctly, or that I looked good doing them, but I did do them. I modified my meal plan to fit into my lifestyle, but followed the recommendations of the trainers.
That first week was hard, but the second was harder. One of the issues I dealt with alot due to my weight was complications from allergies. During my second week of the challenge, I ended up needing a steroid shot, and was told no workouts for a few days. I continued to eat per plan. In total, I probably only got to workout 7 times in that initial 21 day challenge. I weighed in on my anniversary, December 24th. My expectations were not high. After all, I had missed almost a full week of workouts, and how effective could this really be. The scale was down 14 lbs. It took a minute for that to sink in. This small change had manifested in 14 lbs dropped in 21 days. I was ready to keep going, so I signed up for membership.
In my first 60 days, I was down 30 lbs. At my six month checkup, I was down 40lbs, and the test results indicated that through diet and exercise, I had dropped all those bad numbers. Cholesterol and triglycerides were down, blood pressure was normal, and my blood sugar was low. Nevertheless, my dr scheduled a followup to see where I was in 6 months, and to ensure I kept it up. At that appointment, Sept 2019, I was down 60 lbs, and he was asking me for advice. I completed my 1yr weigh in at 69 lbs down.
Weight 258 at my heaviest - 189 @ 1yr
Chest 47 in start - 40 in @ 1yr
Stomach 47 in start - 34 @ 1yr
Hips 46.5 in start - 40 @ 1 yr
Bodyfat over 37% start - 18% @ 1yr
The things I learned here have helped me to maintain the weight I lost, even during all the Covid lockdowns.

This is a clean facility with a positive atmosphere and you will most definitely get the full body work out that you are looking for. The trainers are very motivational and uplifting. They have a passion for fitness and changing lives by helping you to change your lifestyle by their work outs and their nutrition plan. I enjoy the company of all of the employees that work here. I happened to find this place by a random recommendation on an old post and then I started to see advertisements for it. There was a deal going on for the start of this year for an extremely affordable price, so I jumped on it. I have lost about 14 lbs in 3 weeks, I transformed my diet and I work out here 5 times a week. I highly recommend you to try it out if you want to change your life and your body. It is a judgement free zone and there are people of all fitness levels that attend in case you may be nervous to check it out.

I'll admit Boot camp isn't my favorite workout but the results are worth it! This is an awesome place to get a 30 minute workout and leave knowing you've accomplished something great. Hands down the best place in town to get a better body. I am 60 and in the best shape I have been in for 30 years. I can wear sleeveless dresses now and be proud of my arms and I have lost body fat and my clothes fit better. I have hardly any bulging above my bra on my back. Ya'll gotta try this 1/2 hour fitness program that works like a charm. Not only can you fit it in to your busy schedule but you will love the people...The owners, the trainers, the other folks who work out there. It is truly a place you can come and get the results your looking for with their coaching, and their keeping you accountable to them and their help with meal planning and tracking your progress but mainly you will love having people who are sincere about caring about you. I love this gym! I have a hectic, inconsistent schedule and it can be difficult to fit in working out. There are classes all throughout the day that makes this a lot easier!
I travel a lot for work, which means I sometimes go weeks without showing up. Unlike other gyms, the trainers never make me feel bad about missing. Instead they make me feel welcome and encourage me to work as hard as I can to make up for my missed sessions.
This is the second FBBC I have been a member of, and I definitely prefer the culture of this one. The trainers and the other members are all great and make me excited to show up!

I joined in October for the 6 week challenge, and in my first meeting and signing, I was told by the owner Shawn that if I do the challenge and even if I didn't lose the 25 lbs, I would still get my money back, because that was the goal challenge to lose 25 lbs or 6% body fat, so come to find out after the challenge was over, you get your money back only by joining a year membership, and that was not explained. Then afterwards they have you download an app so that everyone at the FBC can communicate with each other and to check on you if you are not showing up to the classes....and that is not true, they checked on me maybe 2 times in the 4 months there...also his wife will tell you that she will be there to watch your baby while you workout, NOT TRUE!.so if you have an infant just be aware of this...so all in all they got me for about 700 dollars....so just be alert on their speech into getting you aboard, it is not totally honest...so take from my experience and learn from this, I'm making sure this doesn't happen to another new mother, by telling friends and family, and Facebook friends.....SO JUST BE AWARE BEFORE SIGNING....

This gym is by far the best gym around! I've worked out at 24hr fitness for over 15yrs and never was happy with my weight or body appearance. I LOVE THIS GYM and it's owners. I have gained so much strength & confidence. Despite my chronic knee issues, the trainers have always been able to accommodate when necessary and challenge me to go harder but at the same time giving consideration to my pain limitations. Going to "workout" is no longer a "chore". I look forward to each session and get frustrated when I can't train with my "gym family". I have been going to boot camp since July. The gym was not helping me at all and during my time of giving up I saw this location and spoke to Shawn.
