Lauren and Kerri are wonderful. They are always alert, encouraging, smiling and helpful. Couldn't ask for better leaders in exercises. They push you, but don't over exert anybody in the group. Exactly what we all need.

413 Fitness is wonderful! It is a fantastic workout but the most important thing is the friendly, caring people you will meet. My son has many limitations due to stroke, but he has been helped in so many ways. Highly recommend!

I am glad I chose 413 fitness for exercise. The coaches are well trained and enthusiastic about the workouts. They really help the participants. More than that, the coaches really care about the class members. The class exceeded my expectations and I hate to miss a session.

Do you have a loved one who has recently been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease or a Movement Disorder? 413 Fitness is an amazing place to go for information, with a community of friendly people and incredibly caring Instructors!
Do I sound a little over the top? Let me explain... In December of 2012, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's. It was pretty devastating news to me and I didn't know too much about it since it seemed like only people around my parent's age had it...
Fast forward to 2020 when my husband and I made the big move to Texas to be near our grown-up son and his wife. We all remember the Covid lock down and no life for at least 2 years... well, PD (Parkinson's) snuck up on me in a big way. After not exercising much at all here in Texas (ok, none), my symptoms started getting worse! Finally, after procrastinating for about a year, we went to check out 413 Fitness.
413 Fitness is designed specifically for those of us who have Parkinson's or a Movement Disorder. These classes take us full range through cognitive exercises, vocal exercises, coordination and balance exercises as well as boxing. Each class is carefully crafted for us so we get a full 1 hour workout each time we come... and we get to know each other as we are determined to Fight this disease and encourage each other. I can't say enough about the physical fitness that is helping me regain some control over my body and mind. The companionship we share as we sweat our way through our classes ( 3x a week) is full of fun and laughter and sometimes groans. I think you will find at all 413 Fitness centers that the Coaches are terrific! Kerri Brinkoeter, is my Coach at the Georgetown facility, and is one of the most caring people I've met in a long time. These classes truly are remarkable and the people you meet there and fight the fight with, side by side... are unforgettable.
Check out 413 Fitness.... you won't be disappointed.

I'm most appreciative of how coaches affirm and understand individual differences. Am in total agreement with other 5-star review comments.

Kristi Richards with 413 Fitness is a very caring, supportive and knowledgable coach. She understands the challenges of living with Parkinson's and will adjust the workout based on your physical abilities. She will push and encourage you to reach your maximum potential. Exercise is not optional for people with Parkinson's. It is mandatory, if you want to delay the progression of Parkinson's. 413 Fitness plays a big part in providing the exercise needed. Kristi and her staff of coaches are very creative when planning the workouts, making it enjoyable and never boring. I feel very fortunate to have this facility available for me to use.

I drive 80 miles round trip, twice a week for these classes taught by very knowledgeable instructors who also make the classes fun. Bottom line is i would attend these classes even if I had to drive 100 miles round trip twice a week

Rock Steady Boxing Austin at Shell Road in Georgetown, TX has been a Godsend in our lives. The gym so bright and cheerful and roomy. The coaches are so caring and professional, well trained and personable. We cannot say enough good things about them. They make every day a new experience in boxing and doing the kind of exercise that we need to keep mobile and balanced and strong. The boxers are all wonderful people and so supportive of each other. To be able to work with other people who are in the "same boat" as we are really helps lift our spirits as we fight Parkinson's disease. If you or a loved one has Parkinson's, you need to give one of the 4 Rock Steady Austin locations a try--you won't regret it.
