First things first, the vibe and the immediate sense of community is apparent as soon as you walk into this gym for the first time. This is my first CrossFit gym and I couldn’t be happier. Grity Grindy OG Paradise: Army TDY always seems to suck the fitness out of me and finding this home away from home at 5 Hills has been a godsend. The coaches are knowledgeable and truly care and the members are amazing. I've been crossfitting for 15 years and have worked out in a lot of different places. I definitely place 5 Hills at the top. I received specific mobility programming, olympic lifting cues in a new way (40# PR! 💪) And check-in text if I missed too many days. My favorite part though: this is the only gym i've been to that teaches gym etiquette and will call you out if you're not hitting depth.

I've really enjoyed going Into 5 Hills CrossFit I like the fact that the have separate classes throughout the day I personally enjoy getting up earlier to do my workout giving me the right start to my day each morning. If you're curious about signing up. I would really consider doing so! The process was super easy and you can do it all from 5 Hills website just fill out some information and show up to class. I used to be so much more active in 5 Hills before I had two babies and this gym is awesome for any level from beginner to experienced athlete. The coach, staff, and cross fitters are very welcoming. For now I only go on Saturdays when I can (bc my hands are full) but I never feel embarrassed about being the free weekender 😆. SATURDAYS at 0930 are free! It's a great place to die from a workout and anything can be modified so no excuses 💜

Went here for 2 years while stationed at Fort Hood and absolutely loved it. The people are great, the vibes are good and the music is always on point. Dropped in this week due to military training for a week at Fort Hood. Coach Ben is a military veteran who owns and operates the gym. I was able to drop in with no issues, enjoy some great workout and catch up with old friends from the gym. I tried other CrossFit and regular gyms in the Fort Hood area but nothing compares to 5 Hills CrossFit!! Anytime I’m back in area, I’ll be dropping in to reunite with my 5 Hills Fam! It’s so hard finding a good gym. I literally look for good training and good people. The very first day I was greeted by coach Ali and invited in like family. Throughout the entire workout she guided myself and another fellow newbie with proper form and technique. She never let us feel like she wasn’t there to help. At the same time she pushed us to give our best and see what our body could do. The other gym members also cheered one another on and we got through our workout sweaty and accomplished. That’s pretty much how the rest of our week went and now we just keep going and pushing one another. I also love that there’s more military spouses and mamas here just killing it in their workouts and pushing each other to leave it all on the mat. There are members here at every level and no matter the level they help each other. No one is left behind and even the last man or woman standing is cheered on. The owner and Head coach Ben is so down to earth and the voice you need when you need to push yourself through the hardest workouts. There is no excuses and nothing you can’t do which is exactly how it feels being at this gym. Literally anyone can do CrossFit here. People who think otherwise will think differently when they’re here. Love this gym so much and I’m really glad I found it.

5 Hills is not a gym… it’s a family! I feel like I am not just getting workouts done, but growing as an athlete! From day one of showing up to the gym, I felt like a part of this family. They have the best times that work for the schedule of an Active Duty officer. I feel like I’m getting such custom training for MY fitness level, and I already see progression within a month of being here.

The owner and coaches are very obviously in it for the love of the sport and people, and they continually lead by example.

My best advice for anyone thinking of coming here is to go on a Saturday community workout first, then try at least a full week of classes. You will be hooked!

Went to Texas for holiday and signed in for a trail lesson at 5 Hills Crossfit.
When I walked in, Alisha and Ben welcomed me. Right away I felt very welcome. Alisha and Ben took me to the other members and introduced me. It felt as a warm community, even I was there for only 1 week.
Both trainers, Ben and Alisha, do have a lot of knowledge about the technique of Crossfit and motivating people to get the best out of their training.
I loved to be in Texas and didn't want to go home, but to say goodbye to 5 Hills made it even harder.

I definitely would recommend 5 Hills CrossFit because its more then Crossfit!

If you’re looking for a community of hard-working, supportive and motivated people, look no further! After moving from MA to TX, I was determined to find a new CrossFit home. I wanted somewhere that I would be challenged physically and would make friends. From the first conversation I had with Coach Ben, I knew CrossFit BLSC was that home. The programming is incredible, and you can tell that thought and strategy is put into each workout. The coaching during the workouts ensures that you are pushing yourself, but doing so with proper form and in a way that will be most beneficial to you. The coaches are ready with supplemental exercises and tips when you’re struggling with a movement or if you want a little extra work on a specific area. And the community is like no other! People cheer each other on, talk to each other and there’s no feeling of “being picked last in gym class” when it comes to partner workouts- everyone there wants everyone else to feel at home! I’m so thankful I found this gym and continue to look forward to being the best I can be with the coaching and the community!

So I used to go to this gym years ago I was in the best shape of my life! Then I got out of the army and got lazy. Fast forward several years later and calling Coach Ben has got me at it again. I'm remote which I thought would be an issue, but it's not between the work out and the diet plans I've seen a pretty big improvement. I've stopped gaining weight for one and I'm leaning out pants fit and I don't jiggle when I brush my teeth. I love the programming even though I'm hundreds of miles away I still feel like I'm there. my first experience with this gym was last year for 4th of July, I cannot express how much fun I had doing the workout with them and how welcoming everyone was! I live 2 hours away, but I always want to go back! I finally made it back after a year and some change and always love the workouts they do. The coaches really take their time to teach you and make it fun from warm up to the actual workout. it made my drive that much more worth it! If you’re ever in the area, I suggest hitting up this Crossfit gym! if you’re looking for coaches who will really push you pass your limits, this is the place to be! Coach Ben is great. I’ve been training there for almost a month and I already am getting back to where I was with my lifts and pt. He’s probably the most knowledgeable coach I’ve had, he tailors my plan to the injuries I have and like I said made major improvements. The gym is an old school gym, there’s no pressure like a conventional gym, not over crowded. A real family environment that encourages growth and hard work. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to make their goals happen.

This is an awesome venue to get healthy, proper technique and great support in your corner. My daughter is a high school powerlifter and comes here for extra workouts. Coach Ben you are amazing with the kids you work with, and the adults. Coach Ben is EXTREMELY knowledgeable. But what really sets his gyms apart is that he cares about his athletes/clients. He will watch an entire class conducting a workout and ensure EACH AND EVERY ONE is performing the exercise correctly and safely so that they benefit the most from it. What he has done for clients in the past and present is evidence of the level of expertise and effort he puts forth in generating and executing his workouts. Not only that, but his prices are less than competitors. I genuinely do not know why anyone would choose another gym besides BLSC or Crossfit Harker Heights. I went here for a boot camp back in 2015 to get myself ready for basic training and it helped ALOT I'm glad I went. I go here to keep myself in shape for PT tests and the coaches are great and treat you like family rather than a customer. A lot of the Crossfit gyms in Killeen like to over charge but the prices are great and so is the environment. My boyfriend is deployed and is excited to try the gym out when he gets home because of how much I talk about it.

I have been going to beyond limits for a month and half now. I love it!!! It's not just a place to get a intense workout but a great place to meet great people wanting the same goal as you. The coaches are amazing they care about the well being of the people they help. They are willing to answer questions and steer you in the right direction. When you feel you can't go anymore they cheer you on and tell you "you can", I love it here. I won't ever go to a chained gym again. I would recommend it to anyone.

I originally heard of this gym from a fb group. There was an add for a MOMMY AND ME class. I was a little skeptical and thought, "why not," and let me just say I am not disappointed! I was nervous, being that I am a heavy person, that I wouldn't be able to do the workouts or would be embarrassed, but Ben and the other coaches do nothing but empower me to do things I didn't think that I could do and the other mom's cheer you on. They are supportive and kick your a$$ when you need it. They actually care about your success. For the first time I actually look forward to sweating my butt off and having sore muscles. I hope that these classes continue after our six weeks are up!

I found this gym doing free fit camps on Mondays and Wednesday and after meeting Ben and the coaches I decided I wanted to try some personal training sessions. I had my first personal training session with Ben on Friday and I absolutely loved it, even though it kicked my booty. I can tell after just one session I will be pushed hard to get myself and my body to the goals I've been wanting. During the session I wanted to slow down and give up but Ben motivated me to keep going which I really liked because some trainers don't care. I recommend this gym to anyone who wants to achieve their fitness goals whatever it may be.

Words do not seem adequate when thinking of what to say. Although I have only been doing Crossfit for a short time I am already in LOVE. For so long I was reluctant to try it because of a knee injury and many other excuses. The only regret that I have now is that I did not start sooner. The individuals here are not just people you work out with, they are friends! From the very first visit they have been more than welcoming. Along with all of these great people and a great atmosphere there is an amazing Coach. Ben has answered every question I have had from the beginning, modified every workout that I do so that I do not further damage my knee, and helped me to set goals. He pushes me every time I am there to give my best and when I think I can't give anymore, he is there encouraging me that I can!!!! My husband and I just love it here!!!!!!!!

Haven't worked out in two years until I went here. I hurt my back, listened to the doctor and rested which made it worse. After talking with Coach Ben and Coach Denise, I knew I was home. Coach Ben is GREAT with Rehab work, considering he fixed himself through CrossFit. Not to mention all the coaches are very supportive and so are the other people that go to the box. Never found such great camaraderie since I retired. The inspiration and motivation that everyone gives you during the WODs makes it worth while. You aren't the only one pushing your limits. This is definitely the best box in the CenTex area, if not all of Texas.

I'm glad it was the first one I contacted because from the get go Coach Ben was awesome! I joined the 5 a.m. class and they made me feel at home. Just like I was a member! My absolute favorite aspect of Crossfit is the community in which every athlete is a part of. Ever since I began doing Crossfit 18 months ago at Crossfit Aspire, in Cherry Hill, NJ, I have had the privledge of visiting many boxes all across the country. My recent drop in at Crossfit Beyond Limits, in Killeen, TX was no exception to the wonderful community that is Crossfit!!! Coach Ben and Coach Denise were both extremely welcoming and helpful. I have been dealing with a shoulder injury for months. Coach Ben helped me scale and amend the workout due to my injury. He also helped provide me with additional mobility and strengthening exercises after class. I was throughly impressed with the energy and atmosphere expressed by both the athletes and coaches!! I would recommend Crossfit Beyond Limits to ANYONE visiting the area or interested in learning more about how life changing Crossfit can be. I CANNOT wait to drop-in again!!!!! I started crossfit January of last year due to moving (thanks to the Army) have attended 3 crossfit gyms since starting. Coach Ben does a wonderful job making you feel at home no matter what your comfort level is with working out! I actually got hurt back in August and was very apprehensive to starting up again but the CFBL team has been very good about watching to make sure you're doing the movements right. They've given me tips to improve, eating healthy, and they even helped me pick out a good pair of shoes and knee brace. Overall, I would recommend this gym to anyone whether you've been doing crossfit for years or are thinking about trying it out. Its a great group of people and they make working out something I look forward to every week!

This is a great box. I went to the beginners class at 7:30 pm - my first crossfit class in yeats. The owner was great, he was very helpful as was his staff. They all showed and stressed proper form throughout the WOD. I am not from the area but he let me train with his group anyway. I have several more trips planned to this area in the next year and plan to attend classes at this box each time.

Winners attracts winners was the first thing that came to mind when I walked into the CFBL box. I was amazed by the sheer amount of weight that the woman were lifting to the point that I was second guessing myself. Then it hit me when I saw that everyone was encouraging everyone. The girl who was finishing first was cheered on just as much as the Guy who was finishing last; I knew I wanted to be part of this.
While listening to the coaches coach I got a feel for their passion for crossfit and their desire for myself to become a better person, physically as well as mentally.
To anyone in the 254 always remember you can train where ever but to experience a true family enviroment, where the coaches and fitters are full of passion please stop by and train with winners.

Wow, I love CrossFit! The owner was more than hospitable to me when I dropped in on one of their afternoon classes. I'm a pilot who was just in town for a day and I felt the bond here everyone is pushing each other and the coaches amazing. One of the other crossfiters even gave me a ride back to my hotel. If you live in Killeen or are just in town for a day stop by I'm sure you'll have a similar experience.

When I started Crossfit, was not so much interested until I really saw and felt the difference in my body. Really started getting serious after my first competition. Its amazing what you body can do! The atmosphere here at the gym is awesome. Everyone is very supportive of each other. The coach's are great. They advise you along the way and will answer any questions you have. They will help you with any guidance you need to include nutrition. I have already started seeing results in the short time I have been there. I already feel like this is a family away from family. It is easy to spend upwards of 2-3 hours or more there because it is just such a comfortable environment.

The most intimidating part about starting Crossfit (to me), was the fear that I wouldn't be in shape enough to finish a class. That and how scary it looked on tv. And how perfect the bodies of all the athletes were. And all that heavy weight everyone lifts. Ok, the whole thing was scary. BUT, the amazing coaches and athletes at CFBL erased those fears as soon as I walked in. Everyone is so nice, helpful, encouraging and inviting. The gym is a giant family and everyone there goes out of their way to welcome you and make you feel included. The coaches talk with you and figure out what your goals are and the best ways to achieve them. You can scale workouts so that you aren't lifting heavy weight, but are lifting what you are able to. I have been going for 4 months and have seen amazing results, and more importantly, have met amazing people. I would recommend this gym 100% to anyone who wants to improve their health and enrich their life. It's only scary until you walk in the doors.

Started Cross Fit in March of 2012. I am 48 and I have always had some type of work out routine going all of my life. Loving to run and also a member of Cove Fitness since 2008 I started going to Cross Fit with some friends at work. Having to keep a good diet plan and a work out routine in place to assist with my high blood pressure, working out has been very important than ever in my life. My first vist to Cross Fit in Killeen, Texas was a very exciting and eye opening experience. To finally have a good Trainer (Ben)who quickly adopted me in to the Cross Fit Family was AWSOME!! I really thought I had a good work out routine. I would go to the gym spen about 2-2 and a half hours there get drenched in sweat and then leave feeling really good about myself. You could not tell me that I had not just had the best work out of my day each time i look at my tee shirt and see it soaked in sweat!!! Working out with my Cross Fit FAMILY has lowered my blood pressure,trimmed my body and worked muscles that I was not beginnning to touch in my on private work outs. Oh and yessssss the tee shirt DRENCHED..... and yes I do mean DRENCHED!!! Wish I had discovered Cross Fit earlier in my life. Could not mold a more helpful and challenging Trainer than Ben. He really makes our work outs feel like we are ONE BIG close family. As a single mom with 2 kids and a job that requires me to work 10 hours a day, finding the time to get back in shape was hard. Finding something that didnt require me to spend all day just to get a good workout was even harder. I tried everything from Pilates,Step Classses and of course working out on my own but never seemed to get the results I wanted so staying motivated seemed impossible. From day one of walking into Crossfit Beyond Limits I knew this was going to be a challenge. And it was but one that I am SO GLAD I faced. In 45 minutes I worked out harder than I ever had in weeks of takeing those other classes! Not to mention ALL body parts not just 1!! Results came quick and with just 2-3 days a week!! Im Hooked! I can't even imagine working out for hours on end in a regular Gym anymore! Best Decision I ever Made for MYSELF!! HOLY COW WHAT A BOX!!! I have been overweight and unhappy for a few years now and with a full-time, very intense job and a full-time class load, working out was the last thing on my mind. Then I met Coach Ben!! What a difference this guy has made. He and the other coaches are extremely good at what they do and super knowledgeable about diets, food, recipes, workouts, techniques, and anything Crossfit. The hospitality, the training, the workouts (or WOD's as the Crossfitters call 'em), and the overall experience is a life saving experience. NO BS!! Out of a 3 scale I wish there was 10+....Amazing experience and after listening to Coach Ben and working hard and watching what I eat and following a Paleo-ish lifestyle, I have lost 23 lbs in 28 days. I have lost more inches, but often times looking at a scale will show immediate results and a when I can barely fit in my clothes (BC they are toooooo big!!) anymore I know I am doing well. Take a chance, live through the intense initial pain, change your eating lifestyle, and go with CFBL!! It will add 20 years to your life.....come and see.

Ben, the owner, is there every day offering advice and pushing everyone to do their best. He knows every one of his athletes by name and genuinely cares about them.
