This place is amazing! The staff and coaches are so wonderful! My son has been a gymnast here for years and I've seen so much growth in him as an athlete. He has so much confidence and I believe he's truly thriving because of his Achievers family. They are great to work with and my son adores this gym and the people. I highly recommend Achievers!

I just wanted to make it known that even though this place populates when googling local Neurodivergent friendly gymnastic gyms, I was informed that they don’t really offer programs like that. According to the person I spoke with it just depends on how β€œneurodivergent” they are and how it wouldn’t be fair for the other children, especially if they need more attention or assistance.

Thankfully, they offer A free trial appointment, but for fear of judgment and their inability To accommodate if needed, we decided against it.

TDLR; Never went to the gym, but was informed that if your kid is too neurodivergent, don’t bother because it could potentially unfair for others who wouldn’t need assistance.

Coaches are attentative, and kind so far, 1 week. Classes and availability are open, but I had trouble making contact with the gym. I had some financial questions (which is always a sensitive topic). I called "too" many times to resolve my few issues. An entire week of trying to contact front desk over the phone, two to 3 voice messages and 1 in person, (went to physical gym during operating hours, nobody at front desk). Finally after an entire week I called back again today ( Monday ,March 10th 2025). Finally someone answers the phone. I'm met with some resistance. I will be giving the gym $332 dollars in the Month of March, just to get my daughter started in 1Γ— per week beginner class, Mondays. I'm sure my frustration is justified. I'm leaving 4 stars still, because my daughter is excited to learn and this is where she is committed now. Thank you Jenny for resolving my issue eventually.

I am very disappointed in Achievers. I will say that no one was rude but the way things unfolded for us made me disgusted with the entire operation.

My 6 year old was so excited to try out a tumbling class and had talked about it all day. He has never really been in a Gymnastics gym or knows any moves, so this would be literally his first experience. My wife made all the calls and explained that this would be his first time to a lady on the phone and was assured that he would be given proper instruction so as to not overwhelm him.

As soon as we got there, it was pretty crowded but the front desk person was nice and gave him his name tag and told him to get in this line and told us to go up to the parents area. Seriously - I didn't feel comfortable just leaving him there so we waited until the coach came to the door. She gave the first few girls some cones and told him to follow them and do what they are doing. He hesitated but my wife coaxed him to follow and could tell he was already nervous.

So we go upstairs to a parent viewing deck that is already overcrowded with no seating left and you are looking down through a glass partition but cant hear anything. It was not very comforting being in there at all but figured we would give it a shot. He was already nervous and was just running in a circle following some girls who were doing some warmups I suppose? Like hopping in a circle, lunges, and some other nonsense. There were two "coaches" supposed to be watching the but they were just looking at an iPad. We could tell that he was frantically looking for direction on what he was supposed to be doing or confirmation that he was doing it right but there was no sort of acknowledgement or anything. So my wife went back downstairs because she knew he was close to crying. She went to the front desk and told the girl that she wanted to check on him. My wife then went to door to the gym and saw him bump into some pads and tears were starting. So she went in and he started bawling saying "I just don't know what to do!".

I just cannot believe that this is the standard practice for a new comer. I would not be comfortable in that situation as an adult, let alone being a 6 year, who is also the only boy in the class. He didn't get to meet any of the coaches before they just sent him off, not one coach introduced themselves to him or told him their name, no one told him what moves he should be doing, or was he doing the moves right. Just follow these much bigger girls who are more coordinated than you and have done this before. At this point we decided to leave because if that's how the introduction to this gym goes, I can't imagine it getting better. Some lady followed us out and said she was telling him what to do but we could see from the parent lookout that that was just not true.

We wanted to sign him up for gymnastics to help build up his confidence and also build up his coordination but instead we just dealt a major blow to his confidence because he thinks he failed at something. But he didn't fail, his parents and the process failed to set him up for success. It is incredibly sad to see your kid crying because of a situation we put him in and I just want the rest of you all to be aware of what you are getting into when you sign up. Especially for beginners.

Peak gymnastics experience!!
I participated in the adult tumbling class and loved my experience!! Kind and professional coaches and staff, always willing to help and guide. Ryan and Emilio are both so helpful and did a lot to enable me to accomplish my goals!! Ryan especially did an excellent job of walking me through effective drills to gain comfortability doing a backflip. After practicing those, he also did a great job to help me feel safe when practicing the flip into the foam pit. And of course, he did stellar work of helping me build confidence to try the flip on my own. Thanks to this team’s impeccable coaching, the pathway to success seems accessible to many. The name achievers certainly makes more sense, as that is what the coaches here will help turn you into, an achiever!

Love their programs for gymnastics, my daughter really enjoy it.
BUT, there is absolutely NO seating to watch your children. If the TVs they had were on it may be better but it’s like playing angry musical chairs to get a seat. Better luck bringing your own chair or you’ll be standing the whole time breathing down someone’s neck to see where your child is. There are ALOT of children each hour, you’d think something would be done about it, pretty upsetting when you pay 100’s each month.

Ruined my friends 4 year old daughters birthday. They confirmed the party was the next Saturday on the day before. On the day of the party no one showed up. They were supposed to open the doors at 1pm to set up and at 1:45 we finally gave up and went to chick-fil-a. Terrible way to run a business.

I love the kids play day program that achievers offers. I have put both my kids in this program and Mrs. Jenny has done a wonderful job! My oldest child was beyond ready for Kindergarten when the time came and I owe it all to this! The gym is always clean and the staff is so friendly.

Amelia has shown interest in gymnastics since she was little. I would often tell her to stop doing cartwheels in the house or making a β€œtumble track” out of her little brothers mattress. She self-taught herself how to do the basics- splits, backbends, cartwheels, one-handed cartwheels, etc. After extensive research and visiting other area gyms we decided Achievers was going to be her new home away from home. She has grown so much (She started in April of this year and is already at Pearl Level!) with the help of her amazing coaches- Chelsea and Trinity and all the other coaches at Achievers. We just added an additional class to help her grow as a young gymnast. We love being apart of the Achievers family and hope to be there for many years to come! P.S. The homemade tumble track has ceased in our home, the cartwheels not so much!

Do not enroll your child under 6 if you actually want quality instruction. The young classes are typically combined with 10-15 kids and 2 high-school (maybe college) aged instructors. It quickly turns into a child free-for-all very similar to Chuck E. Cheese. They rotate through stations but by the time the kids rotate they have no clue what the original instructions were so they just run, jump, or wrestle with their class mates while the instructor handles one kid at a separate station.

If you need somewhere for your young child to blow some energy then this is the place. But if you want to pay for gymnastics I would recommend elsewhere.

We loved Achievers when my girls started a few years ago. However, prices are high and go up quite a bit, but the quality of instruction has gone down. My kids spend more time sitting and watching at timed. The turnover rate for the rec classes is ridiculous and feedback from coaches is inconsistent. There are other places around with better prices and smaller class sizes. If you aren't doing anything competitive then this place isn't worth the price.

We love the coaches at this gym. I love that the gym lets the kids have fun! Our old gym was a little harder on the kiddos than I prefer....they are kids, they need to have fun while learning new skills!

My kids have learned so many new skills, too!

I went to watch my granddaughter. However all the upstair window seats were taken by people who were reading or on their phones.?πŸ€”it would've nice for the facility or even the inattentive parents to take a back seat if they aren't there to watch..

So happy with Achievers. Amazed how much progress Coach Landry and Coach Taylor have been bale to make with our daughter in just a few weeks, compared to over a year of physical therapy. As the youngest in the class, they take the extra care to make sure she stays safe and encouraged. She loves gymnastics and looks forward to it all week!

Great for toddlers!!! ASK FOR COACH LANDRY! She makes sure the toddlers are having fun, being safe, and really enjoying being there. Our toddler is easily the smallest in the class and struggled with her major motor skills, but literally within 2 weeks of Coach Landry helping her, she is doing somersaults! It is amazing! Thank you Coach Landry for all you do!!!!

Love, love, love the staff that my kids deal with. The reason I gave a low rating is because the gym shuts off the Air Conditioner to the parents room. I have a disability, It has to do with my lungs, I cant stay in the heat but I want to watch my daughter just like the other parents. It seems that every time Im trying to watch, the parents room is over 80 degrees. Today the AC is not even turned on, the thermostat box is shut off. I get trying to save money, but this is miserable, and parents pay money to be here watching our children. Please at least turn it on 78 or something.

Edited: if its a legit problem with the HVAC, then please tell the staff to let us know. When I asked the front desk, I was not informed that it was a problem, it was just off. Iove your gym, and want to continue coming. Thank you for replying.

We have been member of Achievers Gymnastic going into our 2nd year. The staff is professional and kind. The Coaches are awesome and have a great knowledge of the sport and do whatever they can to help kids grow and develop their skills. They have helped my kiddos learn discipline in sports, learn good sportsmanship as well as helped them gain confidence in themselves. We couldn’t imagine being at any other gym.

I have a grandson, age 12. Started in tumbling and then moved to gymnastics. Achievers was very cooperative. They listen if you have any concerns about your child's placement in a particular class and they are very helpful in finding a solution. The administration as well as the coaches are nice to work with and very pleasant. My grandson loves going and it's good for him. They are careful and have all the safety equipment and the gymnastic equipment . So much progress in the six months he's been there. Especially kudos to Deann in admin for being so pleasant and helping us find the perfect fit for my grandson . Thanks.

Our experience at Achievers has been nothing short of amazing, our daughter came in at Level III from an out of state school, and was accepted on Team, she earned her way up to Level V now, the coaches are fantastic, Coach Marcy and Coach Michael particularly because they are her Coaches, they are really great,! Her friends and Team associates all work extremely hard, and have such great attitudes towards each other, that is a sign of good leadership, and her confidence has gone way up since training here. I highly recommend the Achievers Family, Coach Frank has done a fine job. Thank you.

My daughter started gymnastics at 4 years old, at Achievers. We were very impressed with the preschool program, the coaches, the facility, even the office staff. Everything is top notch. We switched to a gym closer to our house for about 6 months, and then we came back. We will not leave again. The price per class is the exact same, but EVERYTHING else is substantially different. Anything and everything from level of attention given to the gymnasts, the skill level taught, all the way to the equipment and the viewing area (and really the experience as a whole)
This is where you want your child to train. There isn't a gym in Denton that can compete.

Kids' open gym is great fun and I love the woman who runs it. The facilities are great. I love how parents can watch the gymnastic class on television. Also, the establishment seems to be a second home for many kids and a great place for developing life-long friendships and healthy styles of living. That being said, it is not really accessible for lower income families. There are no teacher discounts and not nearly enough is included with the obligatory membership fee. The classes are too short and infrequent for the cost. Maybe they could raise the membership fee a little and make kids' open gym free for members. Just shaving off a few dollars is agravating. There needs to be more substantial perks with the membership to make it worth it. Thank you!

Although I haven't been there before ( I don't live in Denton), my great-granddaughter and great- grandson are members. From what I keep hearing he is doing amazingly. His skills in all aspects of his classes improve constantly. My 10 year old is unbelievable. They haven't been going very long but already she can do things that I didn't think were possible yet. They both love the center and that makes me happy!

We've had our 8 year old in the boys recreational classes for two years off and on and he has really enjoyed his time at Achievers. For the most part the coaches have been good but change frequently. As a parent, I appreciate that even though gymnastics is clearly not his forte, the coaches are always encouraging and haven't ever been harsh with him when he can't perform a move. We attended our first recital this year and I was blown away when one of the head coaches (not his coach) recognized him, called him by name, and told him how excited he was that he came that day. At any given time there are fifty kids running around so that impressed me. I feel like they appreciate the fun of gymnastics and hard work, and not just winning competitions at any cost.

My 6 year old LOVES this gym. Most of all, she loves all of the amazing coaches!! We go to a late class and she has trouble focusing sometimes, but they NEVER get short with her or stop the class because of her. They are wonderful at redirecting her and very patient working with her with while still continuing the class. She is an Achiever for life!

i took my 3yo son there for some fun social time... They do NOT know how to handle 3yo's... The staff who does the 3yo classes are teens, they wasted about 10min each class talking to each other and looking at their cell phones. my 3yo doesnt like to just sit there -bc the teen staff doesnt know how to interact with toddlers- and would 'get in trouble' leading the teens to deny him of getting to go down the slide at the end of class which made him cry several time when we were enrolled. the parents have to sit up stairs in a very hot room full of other parents, and you ONLY get to watch your toddlers through a tv monitor with no sound, AND you cant see you kids for parts of class because the camera doesnt cover the whole room. the rest of the place looks cool for older kids, but skip this place if you are looking for a fun activity for you tots.

I go there for parents night out were it says in the website $15 on the door for 1st child and $5 for siblings but No!! They say its $30 on the door and $10 for siblings!!! Excuse me!! that is BS!! And after calling the manager she says I have to pay the $40 and then they will check it and might grant me a refund !!!
Make up your mind and update your website and until that happens you should've honor your advertisement!!!

Update:
They finally changed it regardless of the call pretending they couldn't find what I was talking about and promising to honor it anyway as if I will go there!!
