We absolutely love Acrotex! Our family has been here since 2021, and I can’t say enough good things about it. All three of my girls are now on the competitive team, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing. The coaches and staff are always supportive, and the communication is clear and consistent. They also just made a great kid area upstairs for siblings. Highly recommend!

Just called this gym to express interest in the trial Class. Terry answered the phone and was super rude. She has a bad attitude for someone who is answering the phone to a potential new customer. Might just check out the Capital gym on University now instead of going there. Terry dismissed me to the website and was so bothered to tell me the details of the program and how to sign up. UPDATE CALLED CAPTIAL GYMNSATICS AND THEY WERE SO FRIENDLY AND EXCITED TO TELL US ABOUT THEIR PROGRAM & EVEN SIGNED US UP RIGHT IN THE PHONE!

My daughter has had three coaches and has loved all of them. She has been with coach britney for the longest and it's amazing how much more confidence she has gained as her skills have progressed.

This facility has strong musty smell. When I alerted the front office, they denied it. When I suggested to professionally get it checked out, she brushed it off as if it was nothing. If this isn’t addressed by our next visit, I will surely be pulling out my kid as I don’t want my kid to get sick.

I highly recommend for anyone who's kids want to be their best in gymnastics! My daughter went to another gym for years and was always in a big group getting little specialized attention. It felt like a business, and she often felt overlooked.

From the first time we walked in Acrotex we could tell it was different. The owner took time to get to know us and our daughter to make sure it was the right fit. It was clear he's in the sport to help kids grow, and through the years I've seen him invest incredible time and passion in each gymnast.

It unlocked a whole new level of abilities in our daughter who views the gym and coaches as her second family. It was the best decision we could have made.

Acrotex Round Rock is outstanding through and through. Very professional setting. The coaches extremely devoted to teaching the children new gymnastic skills, while providing a healthy social environment for them to grow in every way. Highly recommend!!

The lady on the phone was super rude to my wife when she called and asked about the wait list.

We attended for a birthday party of a child and it is an overall nice set up. The gym area is huge and they have lots of things for kids to play on, with, or in. Only possible downside is the party room is up a staircase with no other access so elders or those with a disability not be able to go up to join the others. The downstairs does have a sitting area with plenty of seating to watch the kiddos bounce, flip, and move around. The party room has room for quite a few people lets estimate 40 if you wanted to run tables and chairs the length of the room. Not sure of pricing as I was not paying so can't help there but a nice kids party spot.

The classes are good. The fun nights are a hassle when family emergencies come up. They can only be refunded if you call ahead of time - like anyone's first thought is a fun night during a family emergency. I won't be signing up my boys for any more of those.

Very disappointed in the fun night issue, but happy overall with classes. It equals out to satisfactory.

We have not had a good experience since the management change. We have participated at Acrotex for 3 years. We again signed up for the homeschool class in Round Rock which only had 1 other homeschooler in it. In my opinion that is deceptive advertising. The class was filled with a school. We should have been informed there were not enough to fill the class with homeschoolers at the very least. Then we could make our own decision the the appropriate class. So we had our daughter accessed for 5 minutes after a class and were advised to put her in another class. The new class was again not at her level. Not sure why the acessment/placement was wrong- not a thorough acessment? folks accessing not familiar with the levels?,folks accessing not trained? I don't know but I work hard for my money and not happy throwing it away. My time is precious and I do not like wasting it. And now my daughter doesn't like gymnastics.
Also it is hard to find a receptionist to speak to when problems arise.

ETA: I've changed the rating, because once management became aware my situation they refunded my money and apologized for the hassle.
I'm now happy with the way situation was resolved.

My daughter started here in the summer and it was fine. I don't know her summer coach's name, but she had strong control of her group and no one got hurt.
You have to re-register in the fall . We couldn't get into our normal 5:45 class and opted for a 6:45 class with a new coach. She started having focus problems that she does not have during the school day or in her other extra curricula activities. I attributed this to the late hour of the class, as my daughter is only 5.
Because we couldn't get into an earlier class, we dropped. I paid the month out, because it's no one's fault the class was too late. I paid for a class or so we didn't use and was fine with it.
Then I got a call a spot had opened in our 5:45 class. We went to one class. She was still having focus issues. And I didn't see it so I don't know exactly what happened, but I looked down and saw my daughter limping. I went to talk to the coach and he said he didn't see it either but thought she fell on her knee. He told me he missed it because he was working with another student. And I completely understand no teacher can see everything at once.
But a five year old having attention issues and a coach who is focused on something else aren't a good combination, so we canceled again. After one class. This time I asked that the fee be waived because I'm not taking responsibility for paying someone to coach my kid and it not going as smoothly as we hoped. I was told they would not cancel her until the end of the month. Forget that most places do one free class anyway. She went to one class on 9/6/17 and because of that either I let my kid go to three classes where I don't think she's safe, or I pay for 3 classes I can't use.
There is a good chance I'll pay due to the extortion otherwise known as the credit system, but I'm not going to be okay with it. And I'm going to make sure other parents know my experience before choosing to deal with this company.

Our daughter has been going to Acrotex for about 2 years and she loves it. She was at another gym for a year prior to Acrotex. Coach Jake and his team are dedicated and focus on technique. I would highly recommend .

My children have been at Acrotex for 4 years, my daughter was on the TNT Team for 2 years. They made changes that I didn't like and I spoke out about it. I at that point did not consider going to another gym but I feel like I was being lied to, I was asked to keep quiet or my kids were going to be kicked out of the gym. At that point I felt like I was manipulated into silence. So I put my 2 week notice in for my daughter and they kicked my son off of artistic team because they said it was a conflict of interest. I called several other gyms and they said it was no problem if my kids were at different gyms, they are just mad that I took my business elsewhere. This gym is the worst of the worst, my son cried his eyes out because of that.

Our family loves the classes and staff at AcroTex Round Rock. My child has learned so much physically and her confidence has grown from the classes. She loves Fun Fridays and Tumble Night. We wouldn't go anywhere else.
