Gyms are well equipped with all kind of machines, different brand. One of the “bad”things is that there is no Panatta machines, which this elite gym should have. Gym 1 is very clean and nothing to complain about. Gym 2 is problem. It is realy dirty. Ofc, because there is open walls (when it is nice weather), but they should clean it sometimes. Another thing in gym 2 is that bars, plates and a lot machines are really rusty. It is fine to workout, but this is elite gym still. Lockers room is sooooo tiny, barely can fit 3 people inside. Yes, only 3.
I was also expecting vibe to be hyped, but it is not that much, just chilling vibe.
Another thing 50% of people are recording themselves, I dont mind personally that.
All in all, good verity od machines, but rest is not on high level.

yeah, the gym itself is nice and all — big, clean, cool atmosphere. but honestly, the communication and customer service are awful. i’ve been trying to cancel my membership for three months, submitted the cancellation forms, and even emailed their help address multiple times with no response.

when i showed up one day just to get a guest pass, they told me i was about to be billed over $300 for an unpaid membership that i had already filed to cancel months ago. there’s no phone number to call, no real person to talk to — just a help email that never replies.

super disappointing for a gym that prides itself on being “next level.” i loved working out here, but after this, i wouldn’t recommend anyone sign up unless you’re ready to fight to get your membership canceled.

Heaven for gym rats! Plenty of equipment and great environment! The only reason to why I’m giving 4 stars is because restrooms! Women’s restrooms always smell pretty bad, they don’t have any type of ventilation so the smell is stuck there, and also toilets are not the cleanest either. They have to find a way that restrooms don’t smell so bad 😭

I used to really enjoy Alphaland, but over time, changes in pricing, staff, and overall atmosphere have taken away the excitement I once felt coming here. Unfortunately, I’m moving out of state and need to cancel my membership, but my recent experience left me even more certain about my decision.

My fiancé and I visited around 7–7:30 pm (today 8/14), and the interaction we had with the front desk staff was disappointing. One staff member who often works evenings (wearing glasses) has consistently had a rude, dismissive attitude. On this visit, another staff member “greeted us” with “What do you need?” — a tone and wording that felt unwelcoming, especially for a place that should be encouraging members or potential customers to return.

When we began the cancellation process (which has to be online) we stood in the front desk just in case we had any questions or issues while doing the cancellation and the same staff member told us, “If you’re not going to work out, you can leave - you don’t have to be here.” As a current member, I found this unprofessional and disrespectful. While I understand that everyone can have a bad day, professionalism should always be a priority in customer service.

I’m disappointed to see how Alphaland’s customer service has declined, and I hope management addresses these concerns so that current/ future members have a better experience as this is not the first time we have encountered this kind of issues with the staff.

This gym has a the bells and whistles with first class staff! If you have not tried this gym you are in for a treat! The owners put so much thought into the layout of the facility. Used to be my go-to gym. I’m a local from Dallas, and every time I come to work in Houston, I make it a point to stop by Alphaland.

Despite being a first responder and a returning guest, I’ve never been registered in their system. That’s fine — but what really disappointed me was the lack of professionalism from the staff toward the end of the night. It’s clear they don’t want to work or help late-hour guests.

It’s an incredible Gym Mecca. As the owner causes it the Disneyland of bodybuilding. 3.5 gems all in one location sauna cold plunge infrared sauna Norman tech recovery, their body recovery everything you could ever want and one location. The only downside is they don’t have a pool That would be the last thing needed.

2 years at this gym and I can honestly say the gym has been improving. They have sauna and a recovery room now. The 3 gyms are perfect indoor for a chill workout music is not that loud gym 2 warehouse vibe loud music for intense workouts. Gym 3 small gym but with 2 mirror rooms It’s not a lot of people that go back there so it’s more lonesome workout which is good when you want to lock in!

I'll put it this way, it might be expensive but you paying for the worth of the gym, I been to other gyms and honestly nothing compares to alphaland (the vibe hits different) 3 gyms,
First gym is vibes cool, the music be bumping, I personally workout in gym 1 because the machines are newer and most my people workout in gym 1, plus it's mad(very) social, cameras lights action, gym 2 is also great especially when they have Live Dj' lowkey (it makes you want to bust a move in between sets, but definitely great. A great vibe, people be going crazy in gym 2, gym 3 for my solitary people, you want a private workout session, you are more of an introvert, are new to the gym don't like to much socializing, you would want to start gyming in gym 3 it will help, once you feel more confident, breaking that shell you can hop into gym 1,2. 2 basketball courts, soccer field+football field, volleyball court, chill zone outside by the restaurant for work l, editing, peaceful environment, also wanted to mention I have yet to find somebody with a bad attitude, most of the people here are top tier super humble and helpful, just because they are built big don't think they are high ego, they all started from somewhere, don't be afraid to ask a question or if run into a dilemma, yet of course don't interrupt somebody set, always be/have courtesy while they are working out of course, Also they have a chiropractor it's not free tho( prices vary) They have the BEST coaches in houston. You don't want to workout without knowledge that is one of the biggest key factors on how people get hurt. So you'll be in good hands. A calendar of events, sometimes free stuff, percent off, scavenger hunts, etc🤝
They have a whole restaurant inside.
I wouldn't be surprised if they had Gordon ramsay cooking up some protein, they be stat on their orders, alphalete store clothes, energy drinks, sour strips, NO other gym like this in houston. (Paul walker: "I said forget about it cuh) never.

Hands down one of the greatest gyms in the country. The equipment, the staff, the facility.. TOP NOTCH. Me and my buddy traveled from Ky to come here, and when we did we got our day passes. Alphaland is an exceptionally unique place speaking from a long time fitness/weight lifting enthusiast who has over a decade of lifting experience as well as nutritional knowledge. Would I recommend this place yes and no my honest opinion and feedback would be this it's more novelty than anything is it unique and cool absolutely there is no shadow of a doubt that there isn't a single other place like this out there. That being said it's definitely not for everyone in my opinion this gym best suits hardcore bodybuilders/influencers or just fun for a one or 2 time visit the reason I say all that is for one if you're just getting into the lifting scene personally it would make me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsure about my ability and my body. Secondly influencers again nothing specifically against the founder or managers or operators the gym and establishment are incredible but speaking from the perspective of someone with extensive background in lifting and working out and visiting many different gym locations across the US this is a influencer focused gym for filming fitness content so there are constantly cameras everywhere. Which again is fine if that's what you're looking for or looking to do otherwise it's a huge inconvenience while trying to work out having to navigate through the cameras like a maze on top of that the pricing is high seated at a premium price point it doesn't make sense to pay that much when there are many other better/cheaper options out there that's my honest review.

Been coming since they opened here and it’s a nice gym for Houston,this place has a lot of equipment and space! The only downside is that it gets annoying how the founder says they will do something and they never do anything or at best compromise on a smaller scale of an idea and just being told over and over things will come but they never do! for example the empty box near gym 3 or the take down of part of the building to build ACTUAL real sauna rooms with private bathrooms and more showers but instead built the compromise of two saunas which are finally better than what the recovery room offered but not what was said would come yet again , also the bootleg pickleball court is just meh. Anyways I feel like they should focus more on the gym rather than focusing on a new drop for their clothing brand that keeps coming out with new stuff every other month.

Alphaland is a great gym from the atmosphere, to the equipment, the members and the staff. It’s a very inviting gym and everyone could not be nicer. For as big as the gym is the workers make it feel like a small community. Maddie always greats with a smile and encouragement, Anthony is great to talk to and Nik is someone that you can ask anything to and he will help you out. Those are just a few of all the great people who work here. The Members come to work and for me it’s very motivating seeing everyone work hard to be in the best shape they can be in. Very large gym with a great variety of equipment spanning functional, bodybuilding, powerlifting, and many types of cardio.

Mixture of well maintained vintage equipment and newer machines. Both indoor and outdoor exercise areas.

Cafe and retail areas, as well as recovery area (and chiropractor).

One of the coolest gyms I been to. Got an indoor ac gym and an out side ware house type gym. Best of both worlds. Also has plenty of out door space to do hitt work outs and a good amount of punching bags, and basketball courts. Music is loud and they actually play good music throughout the gym. I walked into this gym as a stranger from out of state, like so many people do in Houston but I quickly found a family here. The culture is truly unmatched. From day one, the energy, the people, and the environment made me feel at home. This place isn’t just a gym; it’s a community that pushes you, supports you, and makes you better in every way. I love this gym super huge facility usually no wait on equipment and most of the time people will share , kitchen is decent and all the employees are professional and kind which honestly in houston is hard to find in my opinion only complain I would say is for it to be so big and have so many members the sauna is so small only 4 people can fit at a time but I have heard they are adding more in the upcoming months highly recommend if your looking for a gym with ambiance and luxury.

Too crowded no matter what time you visit. Additionally, if you have allergies, this gym might not be ideal due to the excessive dust falling from the ceiling. On top of that, the death stares from other members are uncomfortable, and don’t even get me started on the tripods everywhere people take up machines for over 20 minutes just to record a set.

Pros: you will be elevated to workout much more and your physique will improve due to almost everyone that comes here is at the top of the ranks of fitness. The price is decent as well compared to other high tier gym options. The patio area is nice, and the cafe food has a lot of high protein options and taste good too.

Cons: about 80% of people who go here takes selfies and records themselves at all times! They have an almost territorial vibe and if you get in front of their screen to simply obtain weights, or get through, they will give you the bad eye. Very obnoxious attitude at this gym. The business encourages this behavior as well I mean especially by the name of “Alphaland” and being an “influencer” gym. Music is extremely loud so you cannot listen to your own music through headphones. I been going to gyms for over a decade and in conclusion, it’s just not my type of vibe …

This gym has its perks, but it’s definitely a bit overrated. The facilities are decent, but the day pass price is on the higher side, which stings a little when you realize that many of the machines are pretty dated. Plus, the music is cranked up so loud you’ll feel like you’re in a nightclub instead of a gym.

One thing to keep in mind: this place is a hotspot for influencers. If you’re not cool with being filmed or accidentally photobombing someone’s workout video, you might find it a bit awkward. Also, prepare for the occasional side-eye if you accidentally walk through someone’s “set.”

All in all, it’s a solid gym if you don’t mind the quirks, but for the price, you might expect a bit more.

Been to this gym a few times the past few years and every time is such a treat. I travel from out of state to come here and spend hours here. The staff is friendly, the members are friendly and most people rerack their weights and don’t slam stuff. It is a welcome change from my home gym. There are always a few people with cameras but they mind their own business and are respectful. I always get a great workout in here.
As a huge fan of Buffbunny Collection I love going into the boutique too! Alpha eats has a great selection of food. I am always looking forward to my next visit here!

With three different gyms and multiple workout areas you can be sure that you won’t feel crammed while getting your workout in. I rarely have to wait for machines or dumbbells. Just be aware that it is a influencer friendly gym so expect to see people on their phones…

Alphaland has great amenities. My Husband has been a member for a while here and I decided to join him for their car show event. This place is huge and they are still building and adding more to the facility. Love the Chiropractor on site and Sauna. I am part of a CrossFit gym and there is an area that has most of the equipment we use. Bathrooms smelled good and were clean. In each area there are cleaning wipes and towels to clean equipment or wipe the sweat off your body. The Staff at the front desk are friendly and there to answer questions. I love that on my first visit there was no app to download which is a plus for me! One suggestion is since the facility is so big, it would be nice to have a button where members can press to notify Staff if there is a problem or they are having trouble with the machine. If this gym was not so far from our house I would have signed up.

Had a great time at Alphaland. With 3 'Gyms', (one indoor, one outdoor, one more remote) and auxiliary workout areas spread throughout, a cardio area, basketball, and volleyball courts there's alot to take in. Thankfully the sheer variety of equipment amount and space gives you alot of flexibility to workout how you want even if it is a bit more crowded. We were there on 2 normal days and on an event day so we got to see the gym at normal capacity and packed and it was no problem. Changing rooms and showers a bit small but we made it work, 10/10 staff is respectful, helpful and gym goes courtious, we all here to make ourselves better, absolutely recommend.
