My issue is with the membership details and the lack of communication! There’s two numbers listed on Google for Alphaland and alphalete, both have an automated message that states that there is no one available to take your call and it’s not just a weekend thing because I called on Thursday and Friday as well. I had to drive 30 miles to go in and cancel only to be given a card that says to send an email. As big of a company as you guys are, there’s no numbers that work? Nine people at the front desk and not one phone? Interesting!

Love love love this gym!!! It’s spacious and has a lot of different equipment to choose from. Soccer field, basketball courts, sand volleyball court, indoor and outdoor workout areas, work lounge, and a cafe. You really can’t beat it for the price! They also give discounts to vets/military/first responders. Also a side note but I really love how they have free tampons and pads in the women’s bathrooms/locker rooms. That was the cherry on top for me.

Very large facility with lots of equipment, though unnecessarily expensive. Basically a warehouse-style gym in the middle of a sketchy industrial area, but they charge you Lifetime-level prices. They don't even offer free trials, you have to spend $40 for a day pass to see if you like it. Staff is friendly, but they don't really care to ask if its your first time to show you around or anything. Not that they have to since they don't really have any amenities. Overall if you wanna pay the same as, if not more than Lifetime but without any of the amenities, then this gym is for you.

Truly an influencer's paradise. I love that they have a basketball court.

The gym itself is huge and having the opportunity to work out in any section you want is great. It is a bit annoying that there is so much equipment but only 2 combo racks.

The barbells are not great and literally rub off on your skin with heavy deadlifts.

There are multiple things about this gym that makes it worth visiting and actually working out in, but it's too numerous to fully talk about (without making a video , hah).
This is an "Influencer" gym, without a doubt, but it is genuinely a very close mark to the Mecca of all gyms, and I've tried at least 2 handfuls of different gyms in my life.
This gym is a retail space with good clothing, a kitchen/convenience store with all snacks required to carb up for energy, and protein for recovering, a full luxury bathroom experience (incredible lighting and amenities), mirrors galore for checking your form and pictures/videos, and it is at its core, a Gym.
Equipment here can be lacking at times, but necessarily this gym is meant to be a social space where you share equipment or take turns with other people, if you genuinely want a good workout. There are non-peak times or hidden spots where all if not most things are available, but it misses the surrounding energy of those that are definitely stronger, taller, and more successful than you. And that's the charm of this gym. You'd be missing it if there weren't those champions there to motivate you.

Some gripes people have is the pricing, the broken equipment (I've never seen it, and if there is, it's clearly labeled and quickly resolved), and some of the individuals here are just here to make content or be here to show off.
Pricing can be fixed, but I think it's a hard business model to negotiate as you'd be losing the quality of the real estate, the quality of the amenities, and you'd possibly make this even more over crowded than it is right now.
Broken equipment does happen (as within all popular gyms), but I've seen it be fixed the next day, if not within the same week or the day after.
And for the people, there are broccoli head kids that do make it unfun as they're distractions from those genuinely trying to get a good set in, but they bring good attention and a positive outlook to the future of the gym and the future of fitness overall, so I'd appreciate that over people that do not have passion for the work.
Personally, my biggest "gripe" can be the parking, as it's very hard to find a spot that isn't 1/4th a mile away from the entrance of the gym during peak hours, which is inconveniently placed to the FAR left of the lot. Imagine doing leg day, feeling like jelly and ultra beat, and then having to walk 1/2 a mile to your car in 100F weather. Not so fun, but hey I guess that is a good workout.

My last real issue, is the hours of this gym, and that made me stop coming here. Closing hours are usually 12AM, but you mostly have to be in a rush as 10PM seems like when the gym slows down and most employees do not want you stay any longer than you have to (rightfully so, they have to clean and close up). If this was a 9/10PM closing gym all days of the week, with a 24 Hour access door for possibly the outside gym, this place would be much more accessible and high on my list of all gyms I've tried. Anytime Fitness, Planet Fitness, and many other Powerlifting Gyms give that accessibility for 1/2 the price and with just as good personnel.

Anyways, the people, the well kept equipment with good music, the basketball, great clothing, the nicely kept store and bathroom make this a top tier place. Very much a great gym, though there are some blemishes pushing away those that might not go as hard as the passionate. This is genuinely a place for people who care, and are trying their absolute best. In all its luxury.

Came here every day for the week that I visited my family in Texas and loved it!! they have a large variety of equipment and I love that they had separate areas where you can stretch ect My only thing is some of the equipment needed fixing and If they did that I think it would be perfect. Visited during busy gym period. I started using a leg press machine that did not have any weight plates on it. Saw a gym bag nearby.

Some guy who was sitting and talking to a buddy at a lat pull down machine, angrily came up and claimed he was on it bc his gym bag was closeby.

I continued to use the machine and offered him to work in with me but he refused and got staff involved.

Staff claimed that the gym bag meant the equipment was reserved, even though he hadn’t even racked weights on it.

Gym posts numerous rules- that wasn’t one of them.

Terrible experience with staff who acted unprofessionally and did not care to hear both sides of the conflict.

As for the member who immediately escalated the situation- recommend handling personal problems at the lowest level and instead getting staff involved.

I went here for a days drop in session at my 19 yr old daughters request whilst in the Houston area. It's an interesting concept. 3 gyms under one facility. I've been lifting since a teenager and now on the wrong side of 40.
It has everything you need and a tremendous amount of equipment I didn't.

It's definitely the most expensive drop in fee at $25 each I've seen.

I would describe it as a posers gym.

If you're a wannabe youtube or IG influencer this is a fantastic gym for you. I've never seen so many people filming with high end cameras in one gym.

The outdoor gym is definitely gear head central.

The most impressive part was actually the workout clothing.

It's pricey but extremely high quality.

It's the Disneyland of gyms.

Glad I went but I won't be back.

Gym is ok at best. Clothing/Retail side is trash. Never have anything in stock. Can’t return items in store. Can’t use gift cards in store. They market well and brand well but man, we will never do business with them again. Just sad you limit your customers so much. It’s 2022. So let me start out by saying that I have 39 years of training under my belt and have trained at an infinite amount of gyms. This facility without question is the modern day iconic gym that is comparitable to Venice beach back in the day.

As expected this gym has it all. 3 different gyms for different types of training atmospheres, posing rooms, a cafe and a lounge area just to name a few.

But the most beneficial part of this gym is it's atmosphere! This is THE gym that will inspire you to continue grinding towards your goals!

We came from Iowa and got a week pass and it did NOT disappoint. This gym is a straight vibe. Exceeded my expectations. We flew so didn’t have our pre-workout. We were able to buy a serving of pre at the gym; which was so nice! The outside gym (gym 2) was the best part. Amazing vibes and amazing people working. Made it easy to come back each day.

If you read any reviews that say guest passes are $10, they’re most likely old. It’s closer to $40, but if you go back within 24 hours the pass is basically good for 2 workouts. ALSO bring a water bottle as there is no drinking fountain! You either purchase your own to refill at the gym or buy one from them! As for the gym itself, if you’re easily intimidated or have low self esteem, this place isn’t for you. Lots of people here with incredible physiques. Only giving 4 stars because of all the “influencers” with their cameras. Everybody and they mama out here trying to record or take pics. Too many high school E-boys with their ramen noodle heads and long single earrings talking gym bro nonsense. Otherwise, energy is great!

Sickest gym ever - massive complex with state of the art equipment but also very unpretentious (this place caters more to powerlifters and doesn't try to be a pseudo spa like an Equinox with eucalyptus towels and mid-tier moisturizers). I only got day passes since I'm from out of town but monthly memberships start at $110, which is an absolute STEAL for a place like this. Wish I could find a gym like this in NYC.

This is a hardcore gym, if you don’t like to sweat and you don’t like iron. This isn’t the gym for you, go join your typical commercial gym down the road. They have a pretty solid selection of equipment and their lighting is pretty good compared to other gyms. The owners of the gym are really sweet and the members here for the most part are pretty respectful. A lot of people record their workouts here and can be seen taking photos of themselves but there’s nothing wrong with it being confident and showing off your progress. The music is always playing here and they typically either play rock or rap (wish they would play more EDM) either way, the vibes are immaculate from the moment you walk in through the door. Beyond excited for Alphaland opening soon.

I get a laugh out of these staged reviews, lol. Here's my honest review.

I bought a day pass to check out the gym and was able to get a good workout. Now I get spammed with emails several times a week about signing up and membership deals, which I am not at all interested in. There's no link to even unsubscribe from these emails, very annoying. The gym was crowded with a mix of mostly highschool/undergrad crowd.. and it felt more like a hangout place than a place to come workout. The equipment was not clean and weights were all over the place.
There was a good variety of equipment and free weights, staff was nice, but this is not for me.

The energy of this place is nothing shy of gym flow vibes. The movement of the gym sharks is so motivational & functionality of the equipment is quite inviting. One of the most welcoming gyms I have ever been too. German Avila, Matt, and Joseph went above and beyond to make sure I had a 5-star Experience. I have been to countless gyms, and this gyms staff is exactly who you need working it. Coming to the gym I thought it would just be a “pretty boy” gym but it was the exact opposite. Actual good music, solid leg machines, killer lighting, and so much more. The amount of hard work being put in is insane. If I ever come back within an hour drive of this place, I’ll come back every time. BONUS: Day passes are only 15 for 24hrs so you can go 2 days if you space it correctly.

The community base that comes Alphalete’s atmosphere is beyond inspirational.

I’ve been an on-and-off member since 2018, while working in fitness marketing for a few other facilities inside Houston — needless to say, joining Alphalete is what got me on the right track before going into the field.

Some may say that the environment is a little intimidating. However, what I always preach to my friends about the gym is that the people you see are very goal-driven and motivational.

I don’t even know where to begin. One yes this is awesome looking gym. I’m from out of town and follow everything on social media for it being my first time visiting miles away from home I never felt so out of place in my life. Employees were super unfriendly, I felt like I didn’t belong in that gym the minute I walked in. The lady at the front desk was super rude and unhelpful, I told her I wasn’t from here and wanted to check out the gym she seem like she didn’t want to help me out or encourage the awesome gym everyone talks about to me. I was super shock on how judge I was being judge by the employees. I probably will never come to visit again. And better customer service there too.
