Seems like a scam, they lied about fees and told me I would get a late fee waived. I offered to pay over the phone with another card since my original card closed due to fraud. However, they said I could come in the next day and I wouldn’t be charged any late penalty. Well they lied and charged me. I asked about it when I came in person and they re affirmed I wouldn’t be charged the fee. Also can’t access the door after hours because they never registered me or sent any email about it, like their sign claims. It seems like just a money grab and becoming a headache.

Showers are disgustingly. I’ve told staff 3x now. Another member told me had spoke to them about it as well. I’ve seen no improvement from 5am to 5am they look the same . the weights and Accessories are always everywhere in the gauntlet. Other than that not bad I like it better than the hulen location. I absolutely love working out at here! The gym is always super clean, never too crowded, and has such a welcoming atmosphere. Every time I walk in, the staff is friendly and helpful, and you can tell they truly care about creating a positive environment. A special shoutout to Jannet because she is the sweetest, most genuine person and always goes above and beyond. She’s honestly the best! The women’s locker room and restrooms are always spotless and smell amazing, which I really appreciate. It makes the whole experience even better.

Maritza and Jalen are the best, this is the best gym I’ve ever been to and it’s affordable. One of my favorite features is the Babe Cave, a women’s only workout room for privacy for women. There’s more than enough equipment, they have trainers available to assist with machines and they also have a day care, a sauna, massage machines, a tanning room, a movie theatre for the treadmills and stair masters, and showers. The facility is always clean, they’re open 24 hours and they offer energy drinks. I love how they have mirrors and some rooms are dark for providing privacy. This is also the best location (my opinion) they have other locations in Mesquite and Richardson but this one is my favorite due to how spacious it is and how much equipment is available. I love them!! 💞🩷🥹

I am giving a low rating mostly because this claims to be a 24/7 gym but you cannot access this place once the staff is gone. I work during the day so I have to go in overnight for a good workout and they use the “open” app for access, but apparently are not registered with it. When calling the gym, the owner staff says they can’t even get in so I have had multiple phone calls with the “open” app telemarketer people who don’t seem to know how to fix this either. Canceling my membership and going to Eos because it has been such a hassle with no one offering real help.

Gym has all the equipment you need and always clean they have a lot of extras that i desire in a gym like infrared saunas (albeit they need longer running times) and cold plunges (still working up the courage). The thing that makes the gym a five though is their management. Jay is a super friendly, welcoming face and super accommodating.

‼️PLEASE DONT COME HERE‼️ Absolutely do not recommend Amped Fitness. One of the main reasons I joined was so I could bring my siblings to work out with me, but they don’t even allow guests after 8 p.m. then when I tried to downgrade my membership to the cheapest one they told me I had to pay to downgrade 🙄 The place is almost always unattended — I never see staff around, and when you need help or want to use things like the massage chairs, there’s nobody there.
On top of that, the gym is disgusting. My brother and I both ended up catching HAND, FOOT, and MOUTH DISEASE 🤬 after going here. Nobody cleans the equipment, and it’s nearly impossible to even find wipes. The few cleaning stations they have are always empty, and the trash can in the girls babe cave is overflowing with used wipes. It’s clear they don’t care about cleanliness or their members’ health.
For how much they charge, this gym is a complete joke. Save your money and go somewhere that actually takes care of their facility and their members. you can clearly tell all they care about about is the aesthetics

Decent equipment but their staff is clueless. They don’t know how to do anything. The scanner to get in the gym has been broken for weeks and they don’t care to try to fix it. Worst of all, they claim to be a 24 hr gym but the app they use is not working. I called the company and amped and they’re both pointing the finger at each other, it clear that amped is the one that needs to fix this. When asking the staff what they’re doing the answer is NOTHING. They don’t seem to be making any effort to fix things that should have been smoothed out before they even opened. Incompetent staff and manager. Get your shit together and fix the 24 hr access.

I’ve been coming to this gym since it opened, and I’ve noticed there’s always one housekeeper working hard every time I’m here. The gym is always spotless clean, organized, and comfortable for everyone. Today I finally asked her name and learned it’s Jenette. She truly goes above and beyond to keep this place looking amazing! After pushing back opening so much I made an inquiry about canceling preopening membership and never heard back. Yet they charged me the $87 anual fee. Went in person to cancel membership and manager wasn't in, girl canceled the membership and said manager could issue refund. Went back and he informed me I wasn't the only one and he couldn't do anything. His advised was to dispute it with my bank. Other than that staff was friendly and placed looked good just not interested anymore after waiting so long.

I love this gym. It's not too far from the house and it's not overcrowded. I got a membership at Eos a month before amped and the pool and hot tub were broke and shut down the whole time, and it was always super crowded having to wait on machines. I went and tried Amped fitness and loved it! It's never having to wait on a machine long because they have so many machines and such a variety, they have a great deal of free weights as well, the cardio theater room, a dark room with a punching bag and different workouts, the bathrooms are always clean and has a dry sauna. The staff is always cleaning equipment and working hard, they have great personal trainers also! Shout out to Maritza and Jordan and a couple others I didn't catch their names, but extremely welcoming and friendly and always great to see them when I come in! The best part is they have the recovery room and equipment! So days that I'm sore I can just do cardio and recovery.. infrared sauna, cold plunge, hydro massage, cryobed and tanning too! It really is a great little gym at a great price!

I really enjoy the facilities here — the equipment and overall setup are great. However, it feels unsafe for this gym to be completely unstaffed during 24/7 hours. It’s also frustrating that getting in during unstaffed times can be difficult; I often have to wait for another member to let me in. It would be much better if there were always someone at the front desk, like at Planet Fitness.

Another inconvenience is that you can’t use the massage chairs unless staff are present, which defeats part of the benefit of having 24/7 access. On top of that, the guest policy could use improvement. Having guests sign in through the QR code link and hold their IDs up front every time is inconvenient. It would make things much easier if guests could have their own scannable code linked to the main account holder, similar to how Planet Fitness handles it. That change would really streamline the check-in process for everyone — members, guests, and staff alike.

I hope management can improve on these things soon.

It’s extremely inconvenient to check in as a guest at this gym. Guests are required to leave their IDs at the front desk for the entire workout and sign in through a QR code every visit. On top of that, guests are only allowed during staffed hours, and staff leave at 8 p.m. on weekdays and 4 p.m. on weekends. If a workout runs late, there’s no way for a guest to get their ID back. The whole process makes bringing a guest far more of a hassle than it should be and really needs to be rethought.

Amped Fitness is such a great spot to get a workout in! I love that there’s always machines available for use.
