I’ve spent time at many many AF’s across the country and this location is top notch. Always clean and never out of cleaning supplies is something I can’t say for very many of the locations but Lucas keeps this place in tip top shape. He is always available, helpful and greets me every day. The equipment is well kept and I recently noticed a new piece! It’s a fairly busy location but it’s taken care of and maintained diligently. Can’t say enough good things. Will be super sad to leave this one when it’s time to move on!

Beth the new manager/owner (?) has gone out of her way to help me not only get my foot in the door but help this newbie figure out the equipment inside. All with a smile and great attitude. This is a good size gym with a wide assortment of machines and a separate space for classes or personal training. I'm glad I chose here to start my fitness journey.

Since Josh & Beth have recently taken ownership of the Boerne location they have done an incredible job getting the place in tip top shape. They have done a deep cleaning and gotten the equipment back up to great shape. In the last couple of weeks the place went from a handful of people at best, to many more people there working out throughout the day. The atmosphere and attitude has changed to the positive almost instantly. As a member here since 2016, I have never seen this place so clean and as many people using it as now. I'm looking forward to what else they bring to the location!

I paid cash for a 6 month membership. It took a week to get an access card
My issues
1. No lockers to secure personal belongings
2. Zero amenities sauna etc
3. Facility dirty
I stopped going after 2 months. What a joke this place is

Thank you for the response. It's good to see businesses listen to their customers. I've already moved to another gym but I'd like to suggest that instead of giving out waters and hand towels (something that everyone can bring with them from home), that instead the focus be placed on the gym as that's not what everyone has at home. Most gym goers will excuse used equipment as long as it's not broken or malfunctioning... We get it, can't always be buying new stuff. But what's hard to overlook is a dirty gym. Keeping the gym clean is an extremely easy task. Have the staff do it when they are not training clients.

We just moved from another anytime fitness location. Love the other location, but this one in Boerne is nasty. Balls of hair and fuzz all over the ground, mold in the changing room showers, layers of dust, etc. Even some of the equipment was missing pieces.

If this was the cheapest option, I'd understand - but at $40/mo, it's almost 2X the price of Planet Fitness. Looks like we're switching to a different gym... This location is nasty. My own garage gym was cleaner when I had it during covid.

The owner is on hand frequently and willing to help in any way she can. The people are friendly and every machine works well. If a machine does break down it is fixed in a day or two. Just a really great experience overall.

One of the sweetest managers out there!! I’ve been to many gyms (golds gym, anytime, lifetime, ect...) and I can say this is the absolute cleanest one I have been in!! I prefer the gym to be a little warmer but I know you cannot please everyone. Would highly encourage that this gym and the customer service to be a standard for any and all anytime fitness gyms.

We love this place! Great location ! So excited to get fit! The gym is always clean, staff is always friendly, and they are 24/7. They make you feel at home and the atmosphere is pleasant. The new manager is very helpful and welcoming. Prices are great and they help you reach your goals. Their classes are amazing and we love the variety of equipment. Music is not to loud and the weight area is really nice. Joining this gym has been the best thing we did. Love that they really take a personal interest in you and care about you as a person. So if you want to get fit and meet your goals this is the perfect place!

The gym part is well kept, but the bathrooms are not kept. No soap for several days. Where is the manager? Also guys anytime fitness in general are not honorable in speech. The management skew the truth on purpose to get you in the door, that’s how their business works. Yep, it’s pretty nasty business practice. read the whole contract yourself otherwise join a more honorable gym chain.

I have never felt more taken advantage of before in my life. The customer service at this gym is absolutely HORRIBLE. I signed up for their personal training sessions.... I told them I would try them out, but was not sure if I wanted to continue.... they ended up having me sign a contract that was impossible to get out of... I ended up spending over $1000.000 and fighting with the their corporate office., as well as having to get my bank involved. They just continue to draft money out of my account with absolutely no reason! This has been a fight ever since I signed up with them... DO NOT SIGN UP AT THIS GYM, there are plenty of other gyms in boerne!

Do not sign the contract! My experience is the contract is completely unfair and impossible to get out of. On top of that, the staff will lie to you about their cancellation policy, leaving you helpless and without recourse if you decide to quit later. I believe this type of company survives by preying on unsuspecting customers, anxious to join and not disclosing the full terms of the fine print (front and back) of their contract. Then, once signed up they draft from your checking or credit card and they got you. There is nothing you can do except wait it out and give your notice when the term ends. Please learn from my personal experience. Look around before you sign. There are many other reputable health clubs in Boerne that are month to month and do not require a contract.

Deceptive business practices. When I signed my contract I was told by Lillian, the manager, that I could cancel during any month at any time. Now, when I want to cancel, I am told that membership can not be cancelled unless you move to another city without an Anytime Fitness or you develop health problems. I spoke to a regional manager, Brian, and all he added to the ordeal was that it didn't matter what I was told. Don't waste your time or money with trash like this.

Absolutely the worst. Loud insipid music. I complained about loud music so they turned it down but switched to really lame christian music for several months. now they are back to the loud stupid music.

its really lame - 9 of 10 people are there with ear buds. Its like they are trying to annoy only those that come without ear buds. If everyone wears ear buds - why the music anyway????

I can't say enough about Anytime Fitness, Boerne. Extremely clean facility, separate "aerobics" room for cycling, stretching, etc, and new aerobics equipment... The staff and management are super friendly and really listen to the members' suggestions.Overall, the best gym around.
