I enjoyed this gym, it’s definitely one of the most unique gyms I’ve ever gone too, their’s no waiting for a machine, even during the “busiest hours” you can just walk in and get your workout in. Would definitely recommend to anyone serious about getting a subscription.

I have been going to this gym since it opened. After Matt left there were several managers that came and went and during that time the gym was dirty and the equipment in disrepair. Now that Octavio is the new manager the environment has completely changed. The gym and bathrooms are clean, all the equipment is functional, and for the first time in a long time there is some new small personnel equipment.

This is a great gym for a quick in-and-out workout.

I was a member from the first day it opened until the last day it closed. I have found memories of all the time I spent here and I will miss this place.

so ive been going to this gym for a couple of years now and over the past year this gym is slowly falling apart. i didn't mind paying such a high price ($32/month) since i know im paying for the convenience ( it being close to my house 24/hr, but this gym overall is just not what it use to be.the other day there was a bunch of clothes inside of a trash bag/ luggage and i saw this man sleeping in the chair in the front around 8-9 pm. im not one to judge but i didnt feel safe working out. This particular location compared to the others is probably the dirtiest oldest looking gyms. most of the equipment is falling apart/ doesnt work/ out of service, they dont bother to even put up signs saying out of order, maybe due to the fact that alot of new people are looking for a new gym for the new years. so if your looking for a new gym this probably wont be it. the carpets smell like feet/pee and so do the restrooms. after coming to this gym for a couple of years i think its time to part ways.

The management of this facility is extremely unprofessional and quite frankly, very shady. After requesting to cancel my account, they not only did NOT cancel the account as I had assumed, but charged me full membership price for the following month despite the fact that my membership had previously been frozen. After once again requesting cancellation as well as a refund, they informed me that I would actually be charged for another month at full price due to their 30 day cancellation policy. I am immensely unsatisfied with my service and will be staying away from all Anytime Fitness gyms in the future. DON'T SIGN ANYTHING UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED!

So I went to sign up/do my free pass since I set it up online. I get there around 5:45-50 (yes I know it’s late and pushing it but the manager should be there until 6 as it says on the door), however she’s no where there and the doors are locked. I called the 1-800 number and the manager of that location picks up and said oh yeah fridays I leave early (even though it shows 6) and she’s like you can come on Monday and set up your membership, so now because of that I lose at least 4 days on my pass and I’m going to have to pay at least $35 a month plus enrollment fees if she decides to now charge me for it. Great service.

This “particular” “location is not well maintained and needs a remodeling ASAP! at least change the carpet, the carpet stinks and every-time they clean the carpet the smell comes up and its almost unbearable making it really hard to be there. The treadmills have falling parts, some of the Bathrooms never have the toilet cover sheets, etc.

Was visiting my family from out of state for a few days. My son in law has a membership at this location. Signed a year contract and after a year kept getting charged and come to find hour they had switched to an auto generate new contract and the only way to cancel is in person or in writing. The layout of the gym is great. Members are courteous. Equipment is in decent shape. No designated stretching area. It’s all kind of thrown in the corner.

Now my only real complaint:
Bathrooms are f’ing gross. There’s some kind of black moldy substance by the showers, air vents haven’t been touched in years it looks like, and minimal effort in cleaning the toilets and floors. I mean, tease me and change the dirty shower curtains out. This is a big deal for me since I have to go to work following gym time.

I love this gym and staff. There is a great vibe here. Anytime Fitness in south Carrollton has everything I need to build muscle (for fitness, but also to try and control chronic illness). All I have to do is show up and get stronger! Fibromyalgia pro tip: just pedal the stationary bike (yes, it has back support) and listen to a podcast on the bad days. You got this. 👍

These guys are just awful. When I joined I mistakenly signed my wife up along with myself. When I called just two weeks later to try and remove her from my plan they were very rude on the phone and insisted I pay a $149 early termination fee to take her off the account. My wife called the manager Matt to try and get the fee reduced and he basically got into a shouting match with her on the phone. After calling corporate I was able to get it reduced to $118 but (combined with setup fees) I was out $241.92 in just the first two weeks! Avoid this place like the plague.

Carrollton location. I like it, because it is never crowded, it's quiet (Because of the floor and ceiling surfaces, the music does not sound harsh.), and conveniently located. 4 Stars because their dumbells jump every 5 lbs. on the lower weights (5-30), no decline chest press machine, and no squat machine, but overall, one can get an excellent workout with the variety of equipment they have.

First off, the gym is clean, friendly , safe environment with nice equipment. The problem I’m having is the binding contract’s that my girlfriend signed for our membership. There is a $140 cancelation fee (per person) on top of them charging you one last month charge for your membership when you decide to cancel(also per person). On top of that they charge “everyone” who works out at this location an annual membership fee at the same time no matter how long you’ve been a customer at the location, on top of our monthly payments we make. We haven’t been at his gym but a couple months and we are being charged for being there a year already? This makes no sense to me. I have a membership that I myself never signed for but I can’t get out of unless I pay the cancellation fee and last month payment? I wasn’t aware you could put someone in a binding contract without their permission, signature, or even them being present to them signing of said documents. When my girlfriend signed us up originally she was led to believe pricing would be lower than it was, we are paying is well over double what they told us it would be. Anytime you have a problem with prices they tell you there’s nothing they can help you with. When you ask for a manager the gentleman tells you he is the manager but he can’t do anything it’s out of his hands. Well I asked for the owner because he tells me they are all individually owned and can charge anything they want and have any policies they want, he says he can’t give out the owners information because the owner is never at the store and he owns five locations and never sees him. Finally I pry the owners email from him and he basically tells me to kick rocks. They have zero customer service skills nor do they care to, they are getting our money and that’s all that matters! Plus we are locked in so what are we gunna do about it right? they have us locked in a contract that we can’t get out of unless we wanna pay over $400 to cancel. Save yourself a headache and a lot of money by going somewhere else with no contracts.

Matt is a great guy. He is the manager and a personal trainer and great to work with. The place is clean and every year for just an extra $25 from each member, they upgrade or add equipment. Prices are a little high compared to LA Fitness's no contract programs (which are $29 per month no contract). But I thought 24 hours and I can go anytime, right? To be honest my life got crazy. I had a serious illness, 3 surgeries and much, much more happen. The fees per month were just over $57. Then my health started to falter more. I got into a contract to lower the rate and got it down to just under $40 a month in fees. Only I thought I was doing 12 mos and it was 18 mos on the contract. I failed to notice the timeline and that extra 6 mos came as a surprise when I called to terminate. The termination fees were high, over $160. So they have you over a barrel. Again, nice place, couldn't use the membership as hoped and now I am stuck with it.

I go to this gym on a pretty consistent basis (5-6 times a week) and it stays clean for the most part (can't control the savages at night that don't rerack their weights). Nice equipment and light traffic for the most part, I never really need to wait long for the power rack. Matt is a good guy and makes a point to greet you. Otherwise has all the equipment I need for a serious workout and most of the gym-goers here are respectful of the other folks. Definitely recommend.

Don't like Matthew fool you with his nice attitutude, I just went in to get info on a membership, after showing me around, we went into his office and started talking about prices. It was a good deal for the gym, I won't lie, but I wasn't planning on paying anything today. Everytime I asked a simple question, it's like he would get offended. After I told him I would come back on Friday (pay day) to sign up, it's like a completely different person came out. He got the biggest attitude, became really rude and walked out the office and went to talking to someone else, not saying bye or ok I'll see you then. I was really going to come back but after that, I would never. That was the biggest turn off, and very unprofessional.
